Nusa Indah Bungalow

Everything! It’s our go to home in Lembogan. Staff are amazing & give fabulous service. We loved our comfortable room, lots of space & the renovated bathroom was a welcome sight. Food is quite good & plenty choices.

I say same after every visit PLEASE Nusa Indah (Thomo) can you please install some safety rails other than bamboo to enter the pool as the stairs are very high & unsafe & also a handrail to enter & exit the pool.

Just 25 metres down a winding alley from the main road. The property is beachside with individual bungalows and ensuite bathrooms. A large bottle of clean water per person was refilled daily - you can leave the bottle out on the deck if you don't need a full room clean. Surprisingly quiet for a family orientated property. Quiet, effective air conditioning unit. The pool was lovely and well serviced, breakfast had plenty of options and staff happy to accommodate if something not on the menu. Shaded & sunny tables to choose from. Sun loungers or beanbags to choose from on the beach. The onsite massage ladies were awesome and reasonably priced. Fantastic sunsets.

There were no downsides to my experience.

The walk from the Main Street to the property is not well lit at night. Used touches on our phones for parts of it.

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Strand; sehr gutes Essen und sehr nettes Personal! Die Hin- & Rückfahrt von Sanur auf Bali war mit scootcruise.com, inkl. Abholungen in den Hotels ganz unkompliziert und sehr gut organisiert! Vor Ort hatten wir dann einen neu renovierten Bungalow, der uns gut gefallen hat. Gegessen wird direkt am Strand - egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen - einfach mega! Und auch das Essen ist sehr gut! Am Strand konnte man sowohl rechts, als auch links ewig weit spazieren gehen! Das war sehr cool! Wir konnten uns beim Hotel auch ganz unkompliziert einen Roller ausleihen und die Insel, sowie die Nachbarinsel erkunden!

Die Bungalows haben keinen Meerblick; das war aber davor bekannt. Der Weg zum Hotel führt durch eine lange, nicht sehr gepflegte Gasse.

Love the relaxed vibe, staff are courteous. Food and drinks are reasonably priced & very good. A lovely area for breakfast & lounges by beach. Staff arranged a tour for us no problem. Everything just smooth. Beautiful sunset location & so many restaurants, cafes close by.

A few more beach umbrellas are needed for chairs along back row as sun moves across. Beanbags are great but need more beans as too flat but only a minor issue really.

No shower curtain meant water everywhere in the bathroom If they had gluten free bread and wraps there would be a lot more options available in the breakfast that was included

The standout feature of Nasa Indah Bungalows is undoubtedly the location. Being right on the beachfront was incredible, and one of our favourite parts of the stay was relaxing in the pool while overlooking the ocean. The bar staff were fantastic and happily brought food and drinks to us poolside. The happy hour cocktails at sunset were a real highlight and made for some wonderful family memories. Breakfast was decent, although we did have a confusing experience with our booking. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, and the hotel accepted the reservation as booked. However, we were only provided with 3 breakfasts because the room contained a queen bed and a single bed. This seemed a little odd given that the booking itself had been accepted for all four guests. I also wanted to comment on the alleyway access, as I noticed several reviews mentioning it as a negative. Personally, I think some travellers need to toughen up a bit. The access route is clearly explained before arrival, and we had no issues managing four suitcases, two children and prams along the pathway. It's part of what allows the property to enjoy such a fantastic beachfront location. I would simply recommend bringing a torch or using your phone light for the walk at night.

Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the swimming pool. The chlorine level appeared to be extremely high and actually tarnished all of my jewellery after spending time in the water. More concerning was that my 4-year-old developed an allergic reaction and skin irritation that lasted for about a week afterwards. I would strongly recommend that the hotel regularly test and monitor the pool's chemical and pH levels, as this could potentially become a health and safety issue, particularly for young children. Overall, the beachfront setting, poolside service and sunset cocktails were fantastic, but improvements to pool maintenance and clearer policies around breakfast inclusions would make for a much better guest experience.

Heel leuk hotel met schattige huisjes, lief en behulpzaam personeel. Airco op de kamer, superfijn. En je wandelt hup zo het strand op of gaat op het terras van het hotel naar de oceaan zitten kijken. Heerlijk! Het ontbijt en het restaurant van het hotel beviel ook goed, en we hebben hele fijne massages gehad bij de spa van het hotel. Kleine tip, iets meer een afgesloten ruimte zou prettig zijn in verband met geluid en privacy.

Het is niet het allerschoonste of best onderhouden hotel, de badkamer kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Ohja, het hotel heeft geen duidelijke ingang, dat is een beetje gek.

We had the top floor family room which was great with two double bed bedrooms, two bathrooms and one joint “middle” room. Room service made sure the rooms were super clean every day which was great. The bathrooms are simple but functional. It was nice having our own balcony with chairs and a table and some drying racks. Airconditioning in the bedrooms worked OK. The location was great, albeit a bit strange access from the road. Having said that if you just follow the signs you will find it, and since it is a bit further from the main road, on the beach, you do not hear the traffic which is great. The sunset here is amazing. Bean bags on the beach make this feel a very special place. It’s also not as crowded as Mushroom Bay which we loved. For us, the location was even better as it was about 400 meter from World Diving where we did all our dives and the Surf School we used. So no need for taxis or getting up even earlier. When we hired motorbikes and then decided we preferred a buggy instead they went out of their way to arrange this. The food at the restaurant is reasonably priced and tasty. Nice happy hour with cocktails which are delicious. The pool is great - nicely cooling and deep. All in all a great value for money stay at a great location.

So why not a 10: our booking included breakfast but since we were diving every day, breakfast was too late for us, starting at 7.30 (and us needing to set off at 7.30 every morning). I understand this is our own choice, however I would have liked for the staff to take an interest and at least ask why we were never there at our (paid for) breakfast. One morning we were setting off early to go diving and one member of staff saw us leave at 7 and asked: “are you checking out” three days before actual check out… Staff was super friendly but as we were staying there for a week (and the hotel is very small) it did not feel very personal that people still had to ask us after a few days if we were guests in the hotel when ordering anything at the bar or in the restaurant and did not have in mind how long we would roughly be staying. At the bakery a few door down the road, where we had breakfast every day, they would welcome us as long lost friends every morning, make us coffees with fish pictures in the milk, and ask about the dives the day before; in the hotel we are currently in (which is a lot bigger) they knew my name and room number within 3 hours of us arriving. So: even though the staff were all super friendly, an improvement could be some more genuine interest for guests staying longer than a night or two.

Excellent location right on the beachfront, and down the street from a main strip of shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The included al Le carte breakfast had great eggs and pancakes. The hotel is smaller, no frills but that also meant it wasn’t heaving with people and loud music which we appreciated.

The restaurant food was just ok. Our children really enjoyed their pizzas, but mostly we chose to eat meals elsewhere. The pool is very deep (over my head and I’m tall) with a small separated spa section, which might not suit young kids.

Location was perfect. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good but a small selection.

Pool was not inviting and hard to enter and exit and it was way too deep to be enjoyable.

How loud other people’s children were throughout the stay. It’s a small location and there always seemed to be a family of children crying and complaining. In the rooms or in the pool. We have stayed here many times and this was the first time this was a problem.

Fabulous location and lovely staff. Large clean room with daily housekeeping. Plenty of sun loungers available Onsite restaurant and bar had lots of choice and nice food.

The hotel is family friendly and there were kids squealing and shouting in the pool from 8.00am. Not the hotels fault, but as an older solo traveller with a room by the pool it didn’t make for a relaxing time. Also the hotel next door has doof doof music going from late afternoon which could be heard in my room until 10.00pm. Request a room further away from the beachfront if this would bother you.

Our family had a nice time staying at Nusa Idah Bungalow. The location was great, right on the beach and although it was a little tricky to find at first, it’s only a short walk to the Main Street. We enjoyed the breakfast included and our kids enjoyed the pool. It was nice to sit on a lounge on the beach and have drinks brought to you. The sunset right on the beach was also wonderful.

For the price and the quality of the room, it was expensive. The room we had needed a new paint job and the bathrooms were old and could do with a freshen up. We also had the smell of cigarette coming through the vents in the bathroom from the house directly behind our room. There was also a lot of noise one evening coming from the same house. We spoke to one of the staff about the cigarette but I don’t think she understood what we were saying. We had dinner here on the first night but it wasn’t anything spectacular and chose to eat at other places on the island.

Daily cleaning could be better!

The location is excellent, walking distance to shops, restaurants and right on the beach. The rooms were a good size and air-conditioning was good. The breakfasts and food and drinks overall were great and reasonably priced.

The beds were a bit hard for my liking but that is a personal preference. The bathrooms were a bit tired and could have been a bit cleaner.

Awesome location. Everyone loved the breakfasts and other food available. Kids loved the pool and close access to the beach.

The set up of the shower is a bit annoying, but its a minor detail.The walkway from the main road was a bit dodgy, but it is similar to the rest of the island and added to the appeal. Plus we found some other paths up or down the beach.
