Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Amazing properry. beautifully decorated, lots of little honey features. Perfect to call home for a few days! Beautiful area and the secluded remoteness was so lovely. Hot tub was absolutely amazing with such lovely soft robes. shower pressure is incredible with everything you'd need there as you look for it. Beds were comfy with lovely bedding.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026We loved our stay here at paddock pod. The pod was spotless clean and very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were great and it was nice and private. As it is self check in and check out we never seen the owners but they contacted asking if we needed anything and thanked us for staying and seem really nice. We will definitely book again sometime
With the pod being pet friendly, a gate between the fence and sauna would be handy so pets can’t escape as we would love to bring our dogs with us sometime.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Great hidden gem in Donegal, very private and comfortable! The hot tub is 10/10 and was ready to be used when I arrived. Crisps and biscuits on the bed, lovely treats from.the host! Easy check in/check out and 3min driving from a Spar.
I didn't receive any instructions on how to use the sauna, amd I was very excited to experience a private one. But this didn't ruined my trip...

To start with paid 180 euro for what I could describe as bloody awful, the hot tub was fillty dead bugs and dirt in it, sides didn't look like they have been clean in weeks, the pod itself was ok, the bed was horrible. The gowns we got had holes in all the pockets I nearly broke my phone putting it into it, we had to order food and went to get a fork and they where all covered in what looked like curry, the blinds that you pull down on the door where disgusting, and I'm assuming the person who owns it cat would leave us alone, even ran into the pod and jumped around everywhere, my partner who is allergic to the hair has broken out in a rash. This is the worst stay we ever had, and would definitely like a refund and wouldn't recommend to anyone

Reviewed May 30, 2026Everything is as you see it’s absolutely perfect a lovely get away to relax and unwind my boyfriend and I stayed die 2 nights and we are already missing the cosy spot we loved all the animals we seen while we were here the peacock had us laughing for ages I can’t recommend this place any more so close to the beach and wild Ireland thank you so much for an amazing few days

Reviewed May 11, 2026A little oasis in the country in Wild Donegal, lovely little private space to recharge the batteries after attending a wedding the previous day, just what we needed and it was also a birthday treat for Caroline, we had a very tasty lunch in The Harbour Inn in Buncrana a short drive away and the beach is a must visit, finishing our evening between the hottub,sauna and Netflix was 5 * relaxation.
The flies are a bit annoying but its in the country

Reviewed May 5, 2026The property was amazing. The location is close very good- there were 2 little villages 5 minutes away- with the property being in the countryside I found this quit good. One of which had a lovely little cafe to grab something to eat and the other little village had a chipper for the later evening snacks. The hot tub and sauna were so relaxing and the atmosphere around the property was amazing. The birds chirping and singing while sitting in the hot tub really added to the experience. We even had some little visitors while sitting out- 2 lovely peacocks and a little cat (I'm an animal lover) so this really made my stay enjoyable.

I stayed here with my 2 kids and from start to finish it was fantastic, super private, beautiful sunset view and the sun hit the area out front as it went down so lots of evening sun! There was peacocks at the door when we arrived which the kids absolutely loved, then a beautiful friendly little cat who stayed close all evening, again massive bonus!.. place is tidy and fully equipped and the hottub was just perfect, hosts were fantastic and responsive with anything we needed or any questions we had, will absolutely stay again already looking at dates to book! Highly recommend!

not much to do around the place , outside of the pod. there was a few pubs around and we found only 2 places go get dinner that were in reasonable distance . not the hosts fault though obviously just limited options .

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025The hot tub and sauna were great and made the stay very enjoyable. The pod was different and fun to stay in . There was a nice welcome tray with biscuits and crisps etc which was lovely. Lots of towels and a fluffy bathrobe .
No storage space at all for clothes so couldn't unpack anything. The bedding wasn't cotton so hot to sleep in and the pillows didn't feel good quality. Parts of the pod could have been cleaner ( corners of shower and tea and coffee containers).

We visited during the summer and the pod was very warm, it would be a good option to have a small fan in there. But I feel it would be the best in winter.

Only downside was there were a LOT of flies when we got in the hot tub when it was sunny but that’s something that you can’t control! There is a fly swatter which came in handy and we also plugged in the fly zapper which did help. They calmed down when it was dark!

Reviewed Sep 26, 2024We loved our stay at paddock pod, it’s a real hidden Gem, the hot tub and wood fired sauna are absolutely fantastic. The pod was immaculate and very comfortable, cosy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. At the price we paid its a bargain. Self check in / key safe was great. We wanted a quiet peaceful private night away so We didn’t meet the host but her communication with directions etc prior to our arrival was fantastic. Thanks, will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future
