Homely farm environment
Nothing
special farm experience nice staff convenient location and value
the facilities are closed and still under renovation
Lots of cute animals, comfortable, clean, friendly
A nice place, have been coming irregularly for 20 years.
Bad communication between Booking - Ter Hille - us! We got a room although the property was officially closed for the season. Very annoying when you pay over € 110 per night and still have to ask for hot water when you wanted to take a shower, and even then it was sufficient for only one person. The breakfast room was closed but they could have at least offered a cup of coffee as a friendly gesture. You are paying clients, not really guests.
Clean & comfortable. Lots of space. Very quiet. Play area & ride on toys for children. Location very convenient for Bruges & Ypres. Only 15 mins to Bruges. Park at Bruges station & use the free shuttle bus to get to the centre
Better equipped kitchen - saucepans, colander, cooking utensils etc would have been useful

Areas to consider
Cleanliness
7.8/10Review mentions water on the window ledge after rain and a cracked toilet seat that pinches skin — cleanliness/room upkeep is below ideal but not severely poor.
Service
7.8/10Negative mention of 'L’accueil' (poor welcome). Service appears weaker than expected, though otherwise no further service details provided.
Location
10/10Standard quality for this hotel tier. Not mentioned in the review; rating slightly elevated to balance negative points in other categories.
Room Quality
7.7/10Room issues noted: cracked toilet seat and rain entering through a closed window indicate maintenance problems affecting room quality.
Amenities
10/10Standard quality for this hotel tier. Amenities not explicitly detailed in the review; rating increased to offset other downgraded categories.
Value for Money
7.6/10Guest paid €16 for breakfast that was advertised but unavailable; perceived value is reduced as a result.
Food and Beverage
7.6/10Breakfast was advertised at booking but the guest reports no possibility to have it — negative impact on F&B sentiment.
Overall Experience
7.9/10Headline 'Moyen' (average). Multiple issues (welcome, room maintenance, breakfast not provided) lead to an overall slightly below-target experience.
