The hotel is in a great location, very close to the lakeside. It’s convenient for exploring the area, with restaurants, shops, and beautiful views nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Bathroom was not as clean as i aspected but it was still okay to use.

Very Disappointing Stay I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room looked like an old roadside motel and was not well maintained. The bathroom was dirty, and I even found hair in the sink. The lighting in the room was poor, making it uncomfortable to stay. The breakfast was also disappointing. For a room costing NPR 7,100, they only served a simple paratha with tea, which did not justify the price. Overall, the hotel did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend staying here unless they significantly improve their cleanliness, facilities, and breakfast quality.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Pokhara, Nepal. The location is excellent, close to everything, and the owner along with his family were exceptionally kind and helpful. It truly felt like a one-stop hub for all adventure activities in Pokhara and Nepal, especially for trekking and tours. The room was above average, comfortable and clean, while the breakfast — cooked by the owner himself — was simple, homely, and delicious. Overall, the warmth of the family made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone seeking both adventure and hospitality.

Across the main road is the lake. Everything a tourist needs is nearby. The owner and the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive

The location of their hotel can not be better, Uma and Krishna really, really treat you as they have known you for years, making you feel welcome and at home. Uma even showed me how to make her delicious parathas, which by the way I had never tried before and eating them became one very special thing for me. Her staff are also beautiful and helpful people, I would have like to stay longer, but my trip was short. I felt secure and well looked after by all of them.

Pokhara overall is much more expensive in every sense, compare to Kathmandu. But that has nothing to do with the Hotel Himalayan Vacation, which I truly think was properly priced.

The hotel staff and the property owner were very welcoming and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast was quite simple but delicious. The location was also very convenient, being close to the lake. They have their own travel agency as well, so you can easily arrange various activities and trekking directly through them.

However, the hotel itself is quite old and seems to have passed its prime. It is run entirely by a family with very few staff, and the overall management is not up to the mark. Although the staff were polite and friendly, the room management was disappointing. Upon check-in, I was informed that the AC in the room was not working. While they did offer a discount, I had not booked a non-AC room in the first place. Cleanliness was a major concern. There were visible stains on the bed and towels. The floor felt sticky and sandy. Most disturbingly, I found a dead, flattened fly under the pillow, something that clearly indicates the bed linen had not been changed for a long time. There was only one power socket near the bedside, which was already occupied by a standing fan. I had to charge my phone from a higher socket, leaving it hanging awkwardly. Overall, I am quite disappointed. It is a beautiful property with great potential, but poor management is holding it back, which is truly unfortunate.

Our two-day family stay was made perfect by the exceptional service at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff was attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Ett familjeägt hotell som är otroligt familjärt! Familjen var väldigt hjälpsamma, trevliga och omtänksamma. De lagar en god frukost till en varje morgon, restaurangen på hotellet ligger precis intill en mysig gata med utsikt över den fina sjön. Hotellet har ett bra läge och ligger inom gångavstånd till de flesta trevliga restauranger och butiker. Rummen var också väldigt fräscha med en fin balkong som också hade utsikt över sjön. Hotellet arrangerade väldigt smidigt en tur/hike till oss, de verkade ha många alternativ att välja på vilket är ett plus. Guiden var toppen dessutom! Rekommenderar starkt!

I absolutely loved the location of this property — it’s very convenient and close to everything. The breakfast was amazing and the food was very authentic and delicious. What truly made my stay special was the hospitality. The owners are incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming. They make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. specially the aunt by the time you’re having a breakfast, she will come. She’ll ask you She will greet you. She will seat with you. Even the location is the perfect I love you from the balcony is the best. Out of all the properties I have seen, this one stands out as the best. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with warm hospitality and great food, this is definitely the place to choose. Highly recommended! 🌟

This hotel is perfectly located in a scenic natural setting with breathtaking views. Our children had a fantastic time, and the peaceful surroundings made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our visit. It’s a great place for families to relax and connect with nature. The hotel is in a good location, very close to Fewa Lake. I booked a family room, and it had a nice view of the lake from the window. Not all rooms have this view—only one room on each floor faces the lake. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner was friendly and very helpful.

The internet connection in the room was poor, so I had to rely on mobile data. Given the price, the amenities did not meet my expectations. The lake-view rooms are located near the road, so while the view is great, traffic noise at night can be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, it felt more like a guest house than a hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and pleasant. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pokhara. This hotel exceeded all our expectations in every possible way! The location is absolutely fantastic—directly opposite the famous Fewa Lake. Waking up to the perfect lake view from our balcony was truly magical. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, with all necessary facilities included. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and kindness of the hosts. They are wonderful people who go far beyond standard hospitality. We arrived very early in the morning, and they graciously allowed us an extremely early check-in and kept our luggage before that. When we left for a mountain trek, they stored our luggage free of cost for five nights. We requested a booking upon our return, but got delayed by a day due to missing our transport in the mountains. They didn't mind at all, charged nothing extra, and had a wonderful room ready for us when we arrived the next day This is less of a hotel and more of a family stay. The hosts truly go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. We are so happy we chose this place and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Location is covenient, just by the lake. From 5th floor room you can see Pewa lake on one side and Himalayan peaks on the other. Restaurants, outdoor shops within 1 min walk distance. The hotel owner and his wife are very nice people. I stayed 2 nights. Every time when I left for trekking they helped to take care of my luggage.

This was an accidental booking, I walked by, spoke to the owners and felt like I was at home (well my Pokhara home). I stayed as a solo traveler for 20 days. I can be hard to please at times, perhaps having the best room also made my stay so special. Yet when you pair the BREATHTAKING views from the terrace often covered in vibrant flowers, to the best / most convenient address, to the fully functioning rooms, to the kind / lovely / personal care you get from the owners and staff - there is no better place. Even if you spent 3x the amount somewhere else, I would choose it here every time!

Let's just say if there was a mini fridge, I might not have ever moved out ;) And the stairs were my personal gym, perhaps too much for some, I did not mind.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The balcony and view were beautiful, but what made the experience special was the staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful, keeping our luggage while we went on a trek, taking care of our laundry, helping us book bus tickets, and even driving us to the station. Such warm and thoughtful people!

Host is super accommodating. He cancelled our paragliding, sightseeing packages booking due to bad weather without any charges. Location is a plus point for it.

Familiengeführtes Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage mit sehr leckerem Frühstück. Von dem Balkon unseres schönen Zimmers konnten wir sowohl den See als auch (bei klarem Wetter) einige der Himalaya-Gipfel gut sehen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und haben viele nützliche Tipps bekommen. Ausflüge können ebenfalls über das Hotel gebucht werden. Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. The hotel is clean and well-kept. The hotel keepers are both fabulous, and could not have been more friendly or helpful. They know a lot, and are willing to share their expertise. And they make a great breakfast!

Mr. Krishna Sharma and his wife were spectacular hosts together with their staff. They helped greatly with pocket-friendly suggestions of what to see and do while in Pokhara. We truly felt at home. The hotel's location, overlooking the beautiful Phewa lake and offering amazing views of the Himalayas on a clear day, was the highlight. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

An elevator would have been helpful, particularly for people with mobility issues.

The owner was very helpful. The hotel was out of the noisy area. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. We returned here after a trip to see the mountains and they looked after some of our luggage. The owner helped by taking us to the bus the day we left

It's right in front of Fewa lake in Pokhara with an excellent aerial view. Hotel rooms were very good, comfortable.

They could install fans instead of ACs which causes pollution. It doesn't feel good to turn on an AC at Pokhara.

1. Hotel gave us a very good room able to see both lake and mountain views 2. The owners are a couple. The husband is very hard working. From early morning to late night, he is still on his working desk. Also, very talkative and friendly. For the wife, she is very kind. Normal breakfast time starts at 7：30 am. But she knew us that we would return to.Kathmandu the other day early morning. She specially came earlier and prepared breakfast for us at 7 am 3. My mum accidentally broke a glass. We told her and she said as we honestly told her, she tolerated this Anyway, with the very convenient location (only 4 mins to tourist bus stop by taxi), we highly recommend this hotel. if future we come again for trekking, this is definitely our 1st choice

The hotel location is in a fantastic area with a lake view just on the other side of the road. The breakfast was also very much enjoyable, especially the alu-paratha and black tea. The attitude and behavior of the hotel owner and the waiter were very comforting. Additionally, the hotel owner guided us where to visit, how to visit which came as great support for us.

Room size and the furnishing of the room: It seemed to us, that the furnishing of the room was not up to the mark and didn't meet our expectations one we had while booking through booking.com by seeing the pictures. Extra charges for the activities (zip-line, cable car): The hotel owner runs a travel agency as well from where we booked the cable car and zip-line. After finishing the activity(one day later), I realized the charge of one person's cable car was included in the zip line which he didn't mention, and took extra money. Though he gave me a 500 NPR discount from the overall price, still he charged extra and this strongly questions professionalism and trust with the tourist. Extra 10% VAT Charges while asking for cash support: Interestingly and unfortunately, my financial cards were not working in the whole of Pokhara city except in my hotel's machine. This is why I asked a favor from the hotel owner to take the support of his machine to collect 15,000 NPR in cash. But he said for this 10% VAT would be charged which is 1,666 NPR. Later I discovered that it was not true (VAT story). But even if he wanted to make some profit, he could make it smaller. 1,666 NPR is a high price for just simple support to a trapped tourist. It again questions the trust issue and reliance. Extra Charge on my Driver's Breakfast: I offered a breakfast to my driver. He really took a very small breakfast which price would not be a maximum of 100 NPR (according to my Nepali driver). But the hotel charged 300 NPR for this! Though in the last day we were offered two black tea in free by the hotel owner.

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night, so we couldn't see the surroundings. However, when we wake up in the morning and stepped into the hotel corridor, we were absolutely stunned. The view was breathtaking-a majestic mountain stood behind the hotel, while a serene lake stretched out in front of it. The scenery was truly captivating, and it made our 3-day stay unforgettable. waking up to such natural beauty every day was an amazing experience!

The highlight of our stay at Hotel Himalayan Vacation was the warm hospitality of Mr. Krishna and his wife, Mrs. Uma. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our visit. We stayed in Room 503, which offered a breathtaking view of the famous Phewa Lake and the surrounding mountain peaks. The scenery was truly mesmerizing. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of the room, but it came with all the necessary amenities, including warm water and a water kettle for making tea, which added to our convenience. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with two delicious options: bread toast with butter, jelly, and egg omelette, or aloo paratha served with chutney. Both were fantastic, but the aloo paratha stood out with its incredible flavor. The breakfast setting added to the charm, as the restaurant offers a serene view of Phewa Lake, allowing you to enjoy your meal while soaking in the lake breeze. A special mention goes to the milk masala tea served at breakfast, one of the best we had during our visit to Pokhara. Overall, our experience at Hotel Himalayan Vacation was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pokhara with a budget and warm experience in mind.

One of the best view of the city, the lake and the mountain a person can get from their room. Had booking at a resort nearby, but we cancelled it cause that's how much we were mesmerized by the beauty of it...
