Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Die Unterkunft in der Wildniss ist herrlich. Am Abend konnten wir mit einem Holzfeuer das Wasser vom Hot Pot erwärmen und anschliesend geniessen. Nach dem tollen Frühstück besuchten wir das Museum und verstanden die San Kultur und wie das Volk damals gelebt hat. Diese Unterkunft kann ich jeden empfehlen.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Everything about !Khwa ttu is a 10. Beautiful Hilltop cabin complete with braai wood and starter. Views and amenities are everything you'd expect. Appliances are modern. Staff is helpful and wanting to do the right thing. The reserve has nature hikes and game drives on a wide range of topics. Try the "dinner basket". Top notch restaurant and breakfast (just as top notch) is included with the room. It's all part of the San Cultural center so staying here helps support them.

Wish they had better kitchen knives.

I love the fact that its a private space away from neighbors. The cabin is one with nature, the inside-out connection with nature, I loved it. I truly enjoyed my stay with my partner.

I wish the shower on cold days, especially winter season could have some sort of coverage from the wind, because the combination of hot shower along with the cold wind coming in its just application for flu. Also there was no toilet spray or fragrance to keep the toilet smelling fresh.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable chalet. Completely private with beautiful views. Delicious dinner is beautiful presented. Amazing staff. We loved the educational San experience. Will definitely visit again.

Hot tub takes 2 hours to warm up - would be great if they could start it for you at 2pm …. Better instructions for inside fireplace.

Excellent spot to relax in out of the city. Spotting zebra and various buck was a nice treat. The food was delicious and the staff are so nice, welcoming and informative. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

The cabin proximity is slightly too close to each other. But if the wall blocking the hot tubs was extended another meter or two it would make all the difference to privacy.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Personal sehr freundlich und immer zu einem Scherz aufgelegt. Wir haben sehr zur allgemeinen Erheiterung die Klick-Sprache geübt. Die Idee mit dem Abendessen ( im Picknick-Korb ins Zimmer geliefert. Das Restaurant schliesst 17 Uhr) war ( nach anfänglicher Skepsis) super! Man ist weit ab von allem und kann so richtig entspannen und runterkommen. Empfehlung: Zimmer mit Whirlpool ( lustig: Mit Holzheizung) nehmen!

Our second visit from the UK. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic. Our house was beautiful with fabulous views of the coast and the wildlife on the reserve. Very easy to arrive at CT airport and drive to the reserve

Aussergewöhnliche Lage mit fantastischem Blick auf den Tafelberg

Als ich versuchte direkt im Hotel zu buchen, hieß es alles sei ausgebucht. Zumindest in der ersten Nacht waren (sehr) viele Zimmer. Zum Glück bin ich dann nochmal auf Booking.com gegangen und da wurden dann Zimmer angeboten.

Removed one star as there was no key to door out to outdoor shower bathroom area if I was traveling alone I’d feel a little more secure if you could lock that door from the inside but this was really minor

Tout est parfait. Personnel très sympathique. Endroit beau et calme. Possibilité balade ou footing (jusqu'à 10 km) très agréable. Vues magnifiques. Chambre grande et bien équipée, avec vue superbe. Musée à visiter absolument ! Restaurant de très bonne tenue.

Nestled in the bush and completely serene, no noise pollution from city life and just very comfortable , a place to unwind.

I love the modern approach to the property , built well and organized so elegantly, more so I loved the outdoor shower, a beautiful experiential space.

Irgendwie entstand der Eindruck das das vom Ansatz gute Konzept nicht wirklich angenommen wird. Es waren ganz wenig Gäste da, trotz Saison.

Tout, et surtout la gentillesse du personnel. Les hébergements sont exceptionnels, le restaurant est tout simplement une expérience gustative merveilleuse. J'ai commandé un repas spécial pour mon anniversaire pour 16 personnes. Ce fut un enchantement ! Les activités sont intéressantes et ludiques, le game drive en tracteur, très chouette. Bref, un endroit extra- ordinaire !

We had an amazing time at such a serene establishment and I have wooed my friends who always vacation at Saint Helena Bay to do a short left by you to get a doze of unimaginable stillness. I further enjoyed being surrounded by the wilderness and buying a souvenir when I checked out. I bought my friend a phone holder with a Xham painting and everyone is raving about its craftsmanship and the raw story behind it. Thank you soo much to your kind and the welcoming staff, thank to especially to Rose..what a hospitable host.

Einzigartige Unterkunft mitten im Busch. Die komfortablen Häuser sind so gebaut, das man Privatsphäre hat. Die grossen Glasfronten ermöglichen Weitblick in die Natur und auf die vorbei ziehenden Tiere. Im Hotpot zu sitzen und bei einem guten Glas Wein in den Sternenhimmel zu schauen ist unbezahlbar! Das Dinner Package und das Frühstück wahren fantastisch. Die ganze Anlage, das Freiluftmuseum und auch die Tour mit dem Guide sind absolut lohnenswert. Herzliches Personal und einwandfreie Kommunikation vor Anreise haben dieses Erlebnis abgerundet.

The unit is stylishly decorated and has all the amenities that you need for a great self-catering stay. We felt safe on the property and they have a night patrol and the gates are locked at night. The staff are hands-on and helpful, and you are met with the usual South African friendliness. The bed was probably the best bed we have slept on during our entire 5 week holiday in SA. The fan was helpful, but we were not there in the peak of Summer heat, but I think if we were, an aircon would have been great. I understand it is a nature reserve, but at the minimum a pool is necessary for SA heat. Some units have a hot tub, but SA has mostly beautiful weather, so a hot tub meets the needs of the cold weather that is only a few months a year. The location was amazing, just a 1 hour drive from CPT.

A guest pool at reception/restaurant would have made it the perfect accommodation. We drove about an hour out to go to the West Coast National park for the day and it was the best part of our trip - take an umbrella and some lunch and you'll have the best day - this was our way to cool down from the heat! The couch was horrible to sit to, it needs replacing.

Wir waren gespannt wie die neuen Cottages im Vergleich zu den Luxuszelten früher waren und waren angenehm überrascht. Wundervolle Lage und Ruhe. Wirklich sehr gute Ausstattung . Vor allem der Hot Tub war wirklich toll. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu Besuch kommen.

Outdoor dusche Frühstück Ruhige Lage Mitten in der Natur

Man muss 10min mit dem auto zum Frühstück/checkin fahren da die Cottages sehr abgelegen sind. Hat nicht gestört aber sollte man vor der Buchung wissen :)

We stayed in a Fynbos cottage. Really liked it, all details are well done and thought through. Loved the textiles, the kitchenware, the decorations, even the laundry badket was pretty. Beautiful design, comfortable bed. We used the hot tub, which was also nice. You're really in the nature, which we loved. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and the San center was also worth a look. Also did one of the trails early morning, very nice, and well marked.

Liked it all. We ordered a meal, to a bit longer than expected to heat it up, but not a problem really. Food was good and plenty. The bread was really good!

The historic galleries and museums, so interesting and interactive. The art pieces at the property are stunning.

Amazing location. Restaurant serves great local food for breakfast and lunch. Museum and history of the San people. Very unique accomodation on the West Coast. Luxourius and well designed room. WIFI works very well.

Some attention to detail with housekeeping

Beautiful view and could see animals from our bedroom. The shower was lovely and big. The breakfast was delicious!

The blinds did not block out the sunlight so we didn’t have a very good sleep as the room would be light from about 6am. The road was also quite long to get to as you have to go around the back of the main reception area.

The staff were extremely friendly and the accommodation was super relaxing. The place was clean and well ventilated. Breakfast was amazing and super tasty!

Everything! The bush house is very family friendly, safe, secure, and the hot tub is a bonus for the whole family. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food - the dinner baskets were DELICIOUS. And breakfast is a treat.

One of top favorite places to stay during our three week trip. Gorgeous cabin. The hot tub under the stars was magical. Thoughtful and generous dinner basket. Beautiful breakfast. We enjoyed our Way of The San tour as well. We stopped here on our way back from the West Coast National Park. Highly recommend!

We stayed at !Kwa ttu with our 7 year old dog. We had the most beautiful time, surrounded by flowering fynbos, spectacular views, sunrises/sunsets, in a calm and peaceful landscape. The cabin is luxurious, well equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor braai area and hot tub at night while star gazing and under the gentle glow of the moon. Although there are 5 other units next to each other, the orientation and the distance between each unit, ensures that there are enough privacy, we didn’t even hear the neighbours. The place is fitted with premium locally made furniture, linen and homeware, which show a great care in supporting the local design landscape. Baby, the staff who assisted us, is super helpful and kind. She made sure we felt at home. We are super grateful it was a pet friendly place, just be sure to keep your dog on a leash, it is a sensitive landscape, you can see how much work is being done in its rehabilitation. We didn’t want to leave, it was a truly magical experience.

I was pleasantly surprised. I LOVED my stay - everything about it was perfect. The museum is incredibly well curated. I learned so much. The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped. The restaurant is excellent. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I also saw plenty of game.

The wifi was not great and as I was travelling for work it would have helped if it was faster.

The space, experience, food, and accommodation invite us to reconnect with what makes our history unique. The richness of the experience was truly special. The accommodation was perfect. It was well-positioned in nature, private, and had a wonderful view and warmth to the space. The windows around invites the outside in with all the comforts.
