Excellent stay at Mount View Inn with perfect walkable distance to the sights in Kandy. Morris was so great to us and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and smooth. A perfect spot if you are passing through Kandy as it’s so close to the train station too!

Mount view has no view 😂 It's literally located in the city centre. Apart from that the stay staff and service is good. Mrs. Vijitha provided me a very good service and gave me goods to make my dinner .

A great location and I am a repeat stayer. Staff is very cooperative. The value for money is significant. Highly recommended. They attend to the details over whatever is brought to their notice. Also, it is a peaceful place and excellent for a holiday.

El sitio está bien para una noche. Está a un kilómetro y pico del centro y de las principales atracciones así como de la estación de autobuses. El personal que lo lleva me ayudó en las cosas que le pregunté. La habitación es correcta al igual que el baño que tiene agua caliente.

Está justo al lado de la carretera. Y aunque no se nota ruido cada vez que te tienes que desplazar te comes toda la contaminación de kandy.

The best part about this accommodation was the owners. They were the friendliest and most welcoming people, ready to address any problems promptly. Because it was off-season, they gave me a superior room for no extra charge. And the room was great! The walking distance from the train station is convenient. Actions speak louder than words, and as I extended my stay three times, that says everything you need to know.

I am surprised by the wifi score. It was pretty painful, and at one point, we didn't have a connection for over 12 hours. There was another incident. I lost my room key, which is entirely my fault. I accept responsibility for this. However, they didn't have a spare! Thankfully, they were swift to break open the room, which I appreciated, but it meant that instead of paying for a new key to get cut, I had to pay for a whole new lock. What's more, the new lock did not lock from the inside, meaning I had to sleep with the door unlocked, which I was not comfortable with. Nevertheless, they gave me a free night as a result, so I must express my gratitude for how well they handled the issue. However, I am writing this to remind them to please get copies of their keys cut, so this never happens again! :)

The room was not very comfortable as there. Was no air conditioning.it was difficult to rest properly due to the heat.

Ok sized room with a desk and chair by the window. Use of kitchen, walkable to centre.

Quite rundown, needs a deep clean. It's directly on a busy road, very noisy. Wifi a bit slow at times and someone kept turning it off. Frustrating communication with host when asking for information prior to arrival. Tiny bathroom, not that clean, barely space to shower. Cracked toilet seat that pinched your backside! One socket that i could find, nowhere near the bed or desk. No one to help with luggage and the staircase is narrow with uneven steps.

Room comfortable and very clean . Easy to access everywher ,kandy railway station, bahirawa kanda temper, dalada maligawa, Kandy lake,sadagiri seaya.

Personale accogliente e gentile, ci siamo sentiti come in famiglia! Ci hanno aiutato e dato molte informazioni sulla città di Kandy e sugli spostamenti. Proprio di fianco c’è un ristorante molto buono ed economico

The host family were quite helpful and available when needed. It's on a main road which gets quite busy, and there are restaurants, grocery stores and gyms within walking distance. The rooms are basic but have what you need. They have a kitchen available for coffee and cooking.

The wifi isn't great but it's good for basic browsing.

Die Unterkunft ist fußläufig zum Bahnhof, die Betreiber waren sehr freundlich und nebenan kann man günstig ein gutes Curry essen

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer. Das eine war OK und hatte ein neues Bad, allerdings da ohne Klimaanlage sehr warm. Mit dem anderen Zimmer waren wir nicht zufrieden. Es hatte nur ein Fenster, welches aber zur Treppe lag (also nicht nach außen), die Klimaanlage lief nur sehr kalt oder nicht und das Bad war sehr alt und dort wohnte eine Kakerlake. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig und hat schon bessere Tage gesehen.

No recomiendo para nada este alojamiento. Las habitaciones no estan limpias y huelen a humedad. Además, se oye muchísimo ruido de la calle que no deja descansar bien. También encontramos algunos insectos y bichos que no ayudan a mejorar la experiencia.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt Bereiche wo man draußen Abends noch seine Togo Essen oder etwas trinken kann. Der Parkplatz für die Lage war super. Es war sehr sauber.

Man kann das Schild ein bisschen übersehen an Anfang, aber zum orientieren kann man sich an der Restaurant Lemon tree, liegt direkt daneben.

Die Vermieter waren alle sehr nett u hilfsbereit.

תמורה טובה למחיר, המארחים מוריס וויג'יטה מאוד נחמדים, ויג'יטה עבדה בישראל 9 שנים ומדברת עברית מעולה! היא מאוד אוהבת ישראלים והיתה סופר ידידותית ומסבירת פנים. עזרה לנו עם הכביסה ולקחה אותנו למסעדה ליד להציג אותנו שיתייחסו אלינו יפה כאורחים שלה:) חוץ מזה המיקום בסדר אם יש לכם כוח להליכה (25 דקות למרכז), אם לא אז טוקטוק יותר מהיר ולא יקר (יצא לנו 300 הכי יקר, בpeakme יותר זול.) החדר היה נקי יחסית, רצפה מבריקה והמקלחת דיי משופצת. היינו בחדר הכי גבוה והיתה לנו גם מרפסת קטנה חמודה, מאוורר אבל הנוף לא משהו כי המקום ממש על הרחוב ורועש.

היה ריח מאוד לא נעים מהשירותים, נראה שאין אטימות ומריחים את הביוב. זה היה ממש נורא והתפשט לכל החדר- חייב לשמור על הדלת סגורה. אין בידוד מרעש ושומעים את השכנים והרחוב. המטבחון למטה היה מאוד צנוע כמעט ולא מאובזר, אם אתם מתכננים לבשל אפילו ברמת החביתה- תתארגנו מראש. בנוסף שימו לב שהמקום בן 3 קומות ויש המון מדרגות וחלקים עם תקרות נמוכות- לא ממליצה לבוא עם ילדים או הרבה ציוד, אנחנו התקשנו לסחוב הכל למעלה ולמטה כי היה מסורבל. חוץ מזה המארחים הכי נחמדים בעולם, אם אתם מחפשים מקום לשקט שלכם קחו בחשבון שאתם מתארחים ממש באוירה ביתית ובכל פעם שנכנסים/יוצאים/מכינים תה כנראה שתקלעו לשיחות ארוכות- לנו היה קצת קשה כי היינו עייפים ולא תמיד התחשק לזה.

別都市への移動をスタッフに相談したら快く丁寧に対応してくれた。バスステーションから近く、部屋も綺麗で窓も大きく非常に満足できた。

Great location for the station and a Tuk Tuk to the lake area. Was just an afternoon and night In Kandy and got to see the Lake area and caught an early train to the tea country. Best to take 5 minute Pick-Me rather than walk to the station. Functional accommodation. On the main road to the station but set back a little and we had rooms on the top floors with views of the hills so noise and pollution wasn't a problem. Friendly family with advice about Kandy. Inexpensive Lemon Tree cafe next door popular with locals and does egg roti for breakfast.

Staff were lovely! The price is accurate for what you get! Location was close to train station. Not far from the lake, easy to get a Tuktuk from.

The noise from the street. But this was manageable and does not reflect on the property.

Stayed one night. The room was ok, clean and spacious. Bathroom had hot shower. The Wi-Fi couldn’t quite reach the 2nd floor, not a big issue though. During check in, everything was fine. The host was very attentive and passionate to explain things and I felt welcome. We comminuted that I would be leaving the hotel at 8am to catch the train. However, my only complaint is, that the host somehow knocked at my door at 7am and asked if I was ready to leave, seemed really wanted to rush me out.

La chambre ne correspondait pas au descriptif…. Le ménage est clairement à revoir ( moisissure poussière, etc) On cherche toujours la vue sur la ville et le balcon. Les toilettes n était pas fixé au sol, notre fils de 3 ans a failli le renverser. Le lit claquait et grinçais à chaque mouvement. Insonorisation inexistante donc à partir de 5 h am le bruit de la circulation est insupportable

Dobra lokalizacja, dobry stosunek ceny do jakości. Wygodne łóżko i przede wszystkim bardzo mili gospodarze.

Pokój możnaby trochę odświeżyć. Nie ma klimy, chociaż wiatrak wystarczył, nie było dramatu. Tylko jedno gniazdko elektryczne w pokoju. Pęknięta deska klozetowa.

It's close to the station. The lady at the reception was super nice and guided us over the phone to reach the place.

The building is quite old, no hot water and no mantainance of the structure in general.

The rooms are in good condition and clean.

There are no adequate leisure areas and no parking at all. hospitality is not good as the owner is always complaining and commanding.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz oben, mit einem kleinen privaten Balkon. Das Zimmer inklusive Bad war sehr sauber. Unterkunft ist ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Für den Preis erhält man genau das, was man erwartet. Wir waren eine Nacht als Übergang vor Ort und dafür war die Unterkunft perfekt. Personal war liebenswert.

We stayed for just one night. It was super close to the railway station as well as Kandy town. We could get a bus right after stepping out of the inn. The room and washroom were clean and hot water facility available. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Overall experience was 5/5—no complaints

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, mili i pomocni właściciele. Mimo niewielkiej odległości od ulicy to nie słychać nic w nocy.

Pokój bardzo zawilgocony, strasznie duszno w nocy. Kurz i robaki. Z kuchni lepiej nie korzystać, lodówka w ogóle nie działała. Tylko jedno działające gniazdko w pokoju.Łóżka krótkie.

Welcoming hosts. Nice open area on the last floor to make a tea or eat. They kept my backpack for 20 days while I was on the Pekoe trail hike.

The location is on a busy street and it can be hard to get around without a tuk-tuk (and they are overpriced if you don’t use PickMe).

Mega lokalizacja . 10 min do dworca kolejowego . Jeśli ktoś planuje przemieszczać się z Kandy komunikacją, polecam . Jest trochę głośno , ale to centrum miasta , dla mnie do wytrzymania . Gospodarze są przemili , uczynni i ogromnie pomocni .

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, ok 10-15 min spacerem do dworca, do jeziora nieco dalej ale również spacerem bez problemu. Wygodne łóżko i duży regulowany wiatrak przy suficie. Wszędzie czysto. Personel przyjazny. Warte polecenia, na jedną dwie noce.

Zamek do drzwi był uszkodzony więc dosyć ciężko zamykało się drzwi. Dosyć głośno od ulicy, okno znajduje się zaraz Dostępna kuchnia ale bardzo mało naczyń i nie było tam zbyt czysto. Jeśli musicie wyjść wcześnie rano/w nocy powiadomcie gospodarzy ponieważ zamykają dużą bramę na noc i możecie mieć problem z wyjściem!
