At breakfast staff could be more attentive: at some points there were no more eggs and the plate never got refilled.

Zimmer nicht gegen die Strasse sondern in den Innenhof, damit man in der Nacht das Fenster geöffnet lassen kann. Dies hätte dann alle Bedürfnisse bestens erfüllt.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Bra frukost. Nära det trevliga torget vid slottet och vårt rum hade vacker utsikt över sjön och slottet. Rymligt rum och badrum. Välutrustade rum (strykjärn bl a).
Hotellet, inredningen liksom mottagandet, var visserligen fint och utan anmärkningar men vi saknade den personliga touchen och karaktären som vi hoppats på. Allt kändes ganska opersonligt. A/C:n gick inte att ställa lägre än 22 (vilket inte är tillräckligt svalt för oss). Ordentlig uppförsbacke från vattnet till hotellet, så för den som har svårt att gå är det inte ett passande läge.

Also large TV in bedroom with English channels excellent as the World Cup was on at the time. To be recommended and will use again when I visit Neon.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Es wurde uns alles gut erklärt und sogar ein Parkplatz in einer Garage angeboten. Das Frühstückbuffet, bereits ab 07:00 Uhr, war fabelhaft und der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf den See und das Schloss traumhaft schön. Das Zimmer war ziemlich frisch renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist top. Nur ca. 7 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und gleich am Eingang zur lebhaften Altstadt.
Eigentlich nichts, ausser dass an der Reception niemand deutsch konnte.

With a lakeside balcony room, you experience the constantly changing lake and mountain views depending on the weather and time of day, with a plethora of nearby birdlife and further afield boat-life. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Staff in all encounters couldn't have been nicer.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Die Lage ist super, zu Fuß kommt man überall hin, wer nicht gerne läuft, kann mit dem Bus fahren, der vor der Türe eine Haltestelle hat (Leider nur in Richtung Bahnhof / Stadt), aber Richtung See geht es leicht bergab, also ist das auch kein Problem. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und auch groß genug. Und auch gemütlich Zimmer sind sauber und und das Reinigungspersonal ist flott und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, und wird auch immer wieder schnell aufgefüllt, sollte etwas leer werden. Die Speisen im Restaurant sind auch alle sehr gut, man muss also nicht unbedingt immer woanders hin gehen. :-) Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich, egal was man wissen will oder braucht.
Leider waren die Betten zwar im ersten Moment ganz bequem, aber durch die doch recht feste Matratze, sind meine Tochter und ich jeden Morgen mit leichten Rückenschmerzen aufgestanden. Waren aber recht schnell wieder weg, also nur kleines Minus bei den Betten. Wer gerne feste Matratzen mag, der hat hier perfekte und bequeme Betten.
