Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Nous avons tout aimé dans cet hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyablement bon, le personnel est très attentionné. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et confortable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la démarche écologique très poussée dans tous les détails. Cela donne envie que plus de lieux de tourisme adopte cette démarche pour la planète. L’hôtel est à proximité du centre en marchant, la ville est tellement calme que c’était agréable de s’y promener le soir. Le service de laverie était parfait après plusieurs randonnée (notre linge propre était disponible en 4h).
Le WiFi n’était pas toujours performant mais ce n’est pas dérangeant et cela permet de se déconnecter.

No me gustaron los huevos con papa y hogar, eran un mazacote, dejé la mitad. El cafecito estaba bien, sin ser excelente, ese detalle lo deberían cuidar más. El hotel NO está diseñado para personas con problemas de movilidad. Ruido exterior: una construcción, los perros, los picazos de los carros y camiones. La cama con el colchón demasiado blando. La luz y el viento que se cuelan por las rendijas. Mi habitación (la del 3er piso) NO es hermética, debería serlo. El ventilador tan bajo es intimidante. Debería ser más discreto. Las lámparas a lado y lado, muy grandes, estorban. El tapetico a los pies de cama no se ve limpio ni bien tenido.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026A wonderful stay in a beautiful natural setting. We stayed in room 8, which is a small private lodge and wonderfully peaceful. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and well prepared, and could also be served as room service at no extra cost. Being able to use the hot tub was also a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp. Small details, such as coffee being brought to the room every evening, make this hotel feel truly luxurious.
A little on the expensive side by Colombian standards, and not entirely in line with the character of the town of Jardín.

The sweeping views of the valley, the hammocks, the lovely details in the room, the delicious food, the incredible little touches, all made this one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed. I had wondered if the price was a bit high for the town, but quite that doubt was quickly replaced by gratitude for the space, and I don't say that lightly. A total delight in every way! I only wish I could have stayed much longer.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Wir hatten einen alleinstehenden Bungalow, der sehr gemütlich und funktional eingerichtet war. Sehr bequemes Bett, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, tolle Dusche mit Blick ins Grüne. Wir bekamen zusätzlich Snacks, alles zur Kaffeezubereitung im Zimmer und Bademäntel für den Whirlpool. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Umweltkonzept (Mülltrennung, Wassersparen, etc.) hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war a la carte und konnte bereits am Vorabend per WhatsApp für eine bestimmte Zeit bestellt werden, was praktisch bei geplanten Ausflügen ist. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut und sehr lecker.
Es gibt nichts zu verbessern, unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Während unserer Reise in Kolumbien war dies ein Highlight; sehr schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren.

En komt helemaal tot rust. Alles is met liefde, aandacht en oog voor detail gedaan. Van de inrichting tot en met service. De omgeving van het hotel is ook fantastisch. Als ik ooit weer naar Jardin ga dan kies ik weer voor dit hotel.

Für uns: das beste Hotel auf unserer Reise!

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026We loved this gorgeous eco-responsible property where simplicity meets beauty with all things perfectly integrated into the natural environment. Beautiful rooms, lovely restaurant with delicious food, wonderful resting areas, and complete tranquility. We loved that we were close to hiking trails and birding areas, while being only a short walk from the centre of town. The staff was also great.
There is a lack of ventilation in the bathrooms and my room smelled mildewy as a result. The clothes I unpacked in the room carried the smell with them when we left. I would suggest that the bathrooms be equipped with fans. Another suggestion: it would be great if the rooms had window screens so one could leave the windows open at night to listen to the crickets and allow a cool breeze to enter the room. It could get a bit stuffy at night with the windows closed.

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025Un alojamiento magnifico a pocos minutos del centro de Jardín, que por cierto es uno de los pueblos más bonitos de Colombia. Habitaciones preciosas, bien decoradas y confortables. Estuvimos en dos diferentes, una más grande y otras más pequeña pero ambas muy bonitas. Cama muy cómoda, y ropa de cama muy suave. Tienen un Ofuro japonés que es fantástico después de un día de caminatas. Desayuno delicioso Te dejan fruta y algún otro detalle en la habitación, y todo lo necesario para hacer un café (super rico) No tienen parking pero se aparca en la puerta sin problemas. Zona muy segura.

Nothing really, but some people may prefer non-vegetarian food options. We were originally offered a ‘garden’ room which seemed a bit dark and damp because of the proximity of all the tropical garden plants. We changed to one in the main building.

Reviewed Nov 19, 2025We booked this place right before leaving Medellin for Jardin and we couldn't have had better luck. Really, it was such a pleasant stay. First off, we couldn't not mention the food— what a way to start the day, simply delicious. We only stayed for a couple of nights and the staff was really very helpful. Starting from our last-minute booking and them accommodating a midnight check-in (and with detailed instructions at that), continuing with a 5:30am breakfast they left for us on our last day to accommodate our birdwatching trip, and ending with just their genuine kindness throughout. We came back one rainy evening and, shortly after entering our room, were brought tea plus a thermos for extra hot water, as they saw I was a bit under the weather. They have a tiny corner "shop" at the entrance with beautiful trinkets and such from Colombia, and there was this sole colorful paper kite on display. Apparently the kite was not for sale but they were willing to sell it, and rather than giving us the "tourist price" they just asked for the equivalent of a few dollars. In other regards, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower had a strong hot stream. We also enjoyed soaking in the Ofuro, a Japanese soaking tub, in their garden. Located at the edge of this small town, the room looked unto a verdant view and had peaceful sounds on a rainy night.
There's nothing really to complain about. Hotel Plantación is the product of people who seem to genuinely believe in the ideals behind the lodging and space they've created and indeed it shows their attention to detail in every facet.

Wir fanden es ein wenig speziell, dass die Angestellten kein Englisch sprechen.

Tuvimos que dar varias vueltas ya que es súper difícil de leer el cartel del Hotel. El navegador te manda allí pero no hay nada que puedas leer desde la calle, pone Hotel Plantación justo encima de la puerta. Sería bueno poner un cartel que se viera mientras vas llegando

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025I absolutely loved my stay here—it was my first time splurging on a hotel, and it was definitely worth it. The breakfast was amazing, honestly some of the best food I had in Jardín. The staff were fantastic—so warm and communicative. The room was the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I booked the suite with a terrace view, and it was perfect, especially since it rained a lot during my trip. I happily camped out in the room, enjoying the view from the terrace. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would gladly come back.
There really wasn’t anything major to complain about. If I had to mention something, it’s that the rain kept me indoors a lot — but with such a beautiful room and terrace view, it actually turned into a highlight.
