The Hotel is located in a very beautiful location. From the roof top pool you have an amazing view onto the countless mountains. Especially in the morning or afternoon it is great for taking some fotos. The host is also very friendly and will go out of his way to make the guests feel welcome. The rooms are also nice and spacious and very clean. If you don’t have any specific plans for the day you can ask the host and he will give you some great tips on what to do. We were there for three nights and enjoyed it very much. Can definitely recommend!

Nothing much really. We had a room with the view towards the back and the view is not that spectacular. Next time we would book a room with the better view.

Todo fue fantástico. La habitación, instalaciones, la piscina... y el desayuno muy completo y delicioso. Hay lavadoras gratuitas y zona para tender, lo cual se agradece. El personal es muy amable y te ayudan en todo enseguida. Nos facilitaron el alquiler de la moto cuando lo necesitamos. El mismo dueño a veces organiza talleres para niños, ¡muy divertido! La ubicación es perfecta, alejada de la zona centro que está muy masificada. Aquí hay paz y tranquilidad. Un entorno precioso.

Waking up to those incredible views was a daily highlight, matched by the spotless condition of the room. The heart of this place is its incredible staff—their warmth gives the hotel a genuinely soulful atmosphere.

Nothing but if I have to really picky. The dinning room lack atmosphere … but there is a lovely outdoor dinning area that’s warm and inviting.

Este es un hotel que queda en la zona más natural de Yangshuo, cerca de la montaña de la luna, la montaña RuYi, las cuevas YuanBao. Rodeado de naturaleza tiene una piscina infinita espejo con un marco ESPECTACULAR de montañas kársticas. Las habitaciones son amplias, equipadas con tecnología y detalles propios de la zona. El personal ayuda a organizar las visitas, consiguen tickets y dan buenos consejos. Es un hotel más que muy bien atendido. Se siente cálido.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Moon, which is also called Fairyland Hotel (all the physical signs and neons are "Fairyland Hotel"). Mark and Lily were exceptionally kind and helpful, as were all the hotel staff. You never get tired of the incredible views from the infinity pool at the 7th floor. We had a huge room. The beds and pillows were so comfy. The shower was a blessing too; it's such a treat to refresh yourself after a hot day outside. Try the hotel's beer fish and do rent a scooter for a 20-minute drive to the Ruyi peak cable car area; stunning panoramic views!

The food is a bit overpriced. Proper coffee at breakfast comes with an additional charge.

We are delighted: the hotel's location, the cleanliness of the room, the view from the windows, the staff service—everything is simply excellent. We recommend it to everyone.

La ubicación es ideal, está un poco apartado del meollo pero alquilando una scooter o un un didi, estas en muy pocos minutos de Yangshuo, aunque la paz del lugar y los alrededores, superan con creces a Yangshuo. La habitación es muy amplia, moderna, bonita y limpia, y las vistas preciosas. Las instalaciones del hotel también son geniales, sobretodo la piscina en el último piso, con unas vistas impresionantes. La comida estaba riquísima, y el desayuno lo voy a echar mucho de menos, estaba muy bueno y muy completo. Y por último, y para mi lo más importante, el personal es encantador y te hace sentir como en casa. Siempre pendientes de lo que necesitas. Súper amables y con una sonrisa y buenas palabras siempre, y además, te recomiendan planes para hacer o rutas con la scooter. Un alojamiento de 10!

Очень чисто, свежий ремонт, предлагают каждый день уборку. Персонал крайне услужлив и готов решить любой вопрос. Рада знакомству с хозяином отеля, он дружелюбен и создает прекрасную атмосферу гостеприимства, хорошо общается по-английски и дал нам много полезной информации. Расположено в спокойном месте в 6км от центра города. Рядом нет кафе и магазинов, но рядом можно снять велосипед или байк, а такси до центра стоит совсем недорого. В этой стороне находится канатная дорога и другие пункты для посещения.

Mark and all the staff at the hotel were amazing. They were incredibly attentive and always available to help with recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. They kindly helped me organise flowers and a cake for our anniversary, which made the occasion even more special.The room is big, has beautiful views and the bed its soooo comfortable, we slept very well! Everything is spotless. The food was delicious, and the entire team made us feel like part of the family. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a wonderful experience and truly enjoy their time there. We already miss you all and are looking forward to coming back soon! ❤️

Amazing stay with unique cultural activities! Morning Tai Chi with mountain views, afternoon Chinese painting & calligraphy lessons, plus a detailed tea art experience. Lovely quiet location with stunning Yangshuo landscape, friendly service and tidy rooms. Great choice for travellers interested in traditional Chinese culture.

From the moment I booked Lanshan Moon Resort, the butler provided efficient and thoughtful service right away, introducing nearby attractions and all hotel services in detail. The hotel offers much cheaper tickets for Yangshuo scenic spots than online platforms, including Impression Sanjie Liu and Ruyi Peak cable car. They also helped us rent electric scooters at only 40 yuan per day and designed a beautiful countryside riding route along the Yulong River. The daily breakfast buffet is incredibly abundant, and the freshly brewed Americano coffee (20 yuan per cup) is absolutely delicious. The hotel’s dining options are outstanding, from their signature beer fish and crispy roast chicken to freshly baked pizza and homemade afternoon tea cakes. The cooking class, rock climbing, calligraphy and painting courses, as well as the Tai Chi class taught by a local master, were all amazing experiences. The sunset view from the 7th floor is absolutely breathtaking.

The overall experience was absolutely perfect and exceeded all my expectations. There is nothing I can think of that needs improvement.

Location was superb.

We were definitely a bit disappointed by our stay at Lanshan Moon Resort. Firstly, from when we first arrived, we didn't experience the most friendly welcome and we weren't given much information about the activities in the area. Therefore, we booked activities independently but were then later told that it would have been cheaper to book through the hotel. We asked for our room to be cleaned multiple times but the beds were never made, only fresh towels were given. The breakfast is average, and you have to pay extra for a proper coffee. There was even one night we weren't able to get any food so asked the hotel if they had any food but they didn't have anything, not even a little snack. There was also building work from 8am and we would also say it does look a little different from the pictures. Overall, fantastic location and has the potential to be an amazing place but we believe it does need some improvements to achieve "exceptional" and more attention to detail.

Location was a bit far out but worth it for view. Only downside needing to take taxi for food with no immediate restaurants or shops in walking distance..

The location is amazing amongst the Karst mountains and steps away from the 10 Mile Gallery. Mark, Alice and Jake (and the girls) create this amazing experience. The rooms are full of technology with a project screen, voices activated drapes, lights, sound system. We would love to come back and highly recommend you book this hotel.

Отличный отель. Пусть вас не пугает некоторая удаленность от центра, на такси до Яншо 20мин и 20 юаней. Но в этот муравейник можно прокатиться разве что разок, чтобы погулять по West Street и поужинать. Все остальные туристические локации находятся именно здесь, в районе отеля. Сам отель новый.Очень современный, хозяин Марк сделал "умный дом". Голосовое управление, правда, на китайском, поэтому нам пришлось пользоваться пультом для управления всей технической начинкой. "Умный " электронный унитаз впечатлил! Но самое главное - это панорамные окна с потрясающим видом! Фото, представленные в букинге, не преукрашены. Действительность даже лучше! Кроме того, все в номере, от постельного белья до банной косметики, высокого качества. Это чувствуется в деталях. И еще немаловажная деталь для европейского туриста - Марк хорошо говорит на английском и готов помогать в любых мелочах. Быстро отвечает в переписке, если есть вопросы. Готов помочь советом и решить практически любую вашу проблему! Персонал тоже очень доброжелателен.

Несмотря на красивый дизайнерский ремонт, в номере не помешали бы крючки в районе ванной. Нет ни одного....некуда повесить полотенце и одежду.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Lanshan Moon Resort. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, and there was so much to do in the surrounding areas. Mark and his team were amazing and so kind with all of their help. A caving adventure with Mark was a real highlight of our trip - highly recommended. Very good, clean, spacious, quiet, and great scenery. Staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Free use of electric scooters. The scenery is unbeatable and nice roof top pool with with great view for photo taking. Although the location is away from town, it takes about 18mins didi ride to get to main shopping West Street, ¥10. Also located between Ruyi Peak and GongNong bridge.

Lanshan Moon Hotel is an absolute hidden gem in YangShuo. Their rooms are clean, tasteful, affordable & modern with the most picturesque view of the fields and mountains. The most impressive of our stay is the hostel owner and staff’s hospitality—- they are extremely attentive , offering full concierge service— from booking any tickets to nearby attractions and shows, to driving and guiding you around town, and would even turn on the heater or AC of your room ahead of your return. This 5 star treatment, along with the affordable yet beautiful room made our stay extremely enjoyable, I would most definitely recommend to all my friends and family visiting Yangshuo. The staff - Like Mark Ma - were attentive and so professional and went out of their way to provide tips on where and what to do in both. The location was perfect and close to all the main tourist sites. The room was amazing and had a perfect view of some of the mountains.

some of the available services advertised for on 'booking.com' were far below expectation, esp. in view of the room rate which resembles that of high end accommodations: - credit card payment was not possible at the reception upon check-in (I was asked to make credit card payment in another hotel) - canteen-style restaurant for breakfast buffet, western breakfast very poor (no fruit juice, only instant coffee in cardboard cups, cappucino was charged separately) - we were told at the reception that only one bicycle was availabe for rent

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.

Could have used a better reading chair in my room, and a hair drier in the bathroom.

The owner of the hotel, Mark is a unique person! It creates a very kind atmosphere in the hotel. In two days, it was as if we had become one big family. Mark spent a lot of time with us. We traveled a lot to beautiful places that not everyone knows and that not all tourists visit. Mark has become my brother over the past few days. These were the most exciting and eventful days of our entire trip to China. I didn't expect such care. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel and its rooms correspond to the descriptions and photos. The Lanshan Moon Hotel (now Fairyland Hotel) is in an excellent location in beautiful nature. Many places of interest (Moon Hill, caves, ancient villages, bicycle routes etc.) are very close, but also Yangshuo is only 13 minutes away by car. But the best thing about the hotel is host and hotel manager Mark, who speaks good English and knows the area very well; he can organize individual excursions, scooters and bicycles and gave us tips for activities every day. In addition, individual dishes can be prepared in the kitchen on request. All in all, we spent a wonderful vacation there!

According to the description on this page there is a kitchen and coffee mashine in the room, but that is not the case (the room only provides the posibility to prepare tea).

[highly recommend Mark's place. The situation is amazing (great view and not too close from Yansghuo and its intense traffic, so quiet and peaceful, though with easy access). Fairyland hotel is comfortable with big rooms. The room had a great view and the bed was comfy !You share a lovely garden (with flowers and healthy vegetables -no pesticides!) with others guests, perfect for a beer at sunset. Last but not least, The hotel's staff are very enthusiastic ,very kind host, very thoughtful, who will show you all the secret treasures of this beautiful countryside. He's also a great cook: I don't eat meat but tasted a lot of different dishes, so delicious. I was travelling alone for a month and had the most incredible experience there. With Mark and his friends I discovered places I would never have been, shared great moments bicycling, fishing, climbing mountains, dining or playing cards. I will stay there next time for sure and I'm looking forward to :)

Our best vacation ever. Jack Li is very special person. He let you all the freedom you need but at the same time he is always there with his extraordinary hospitality. Jack Li was also cooking for us breakfast and dinners. We had always access to the kitchen, so you see the way he cook is very healthy, buying the food from local agricultors on the market or even using his own vegetables. Our kids had a lot of fun with his animals and Jack Li always let them freely play on the garden. Strongly recommended for families with small kids.
