Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Sehr nettes Personal, Zimmer sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Es gibt gratis Oropax auf den Zimmern. Bett sehr bequem.
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leider recht hellhörig, aber dafür gibt es ja Oropax. Aufgrund der Lage unseres Zimmers an der Straße hörte man die Ampeln die ganze Nacht knacken, sodass das Fenster zu bleiben musste.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026No one was there, I call the number and it goes to a machine. It was only around 8pm or so and no one around? I couldn’t check in so cancelled. What’s the point of taking my reservation if no one is around to check in?
They were closed, the lights were off, door was locked, and no one was around, the phone number didn’t work. Don’t bother!

Sanitäre Einrichtung sollte überarbeitet werden. Wlan Geschwindigkeit ausbaufähig. Über Renovierungsarbeiten sollte mal nachgedacht werden.

Bad war sauber, eine Modernisierung wäre aber angebracht. Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026Wir genossen ein geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer. Das Bett war bequem und die Dusche hervorragend leistungsstark. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, es gab auch leckeren frischen Obstsalat und viele Kaffeespezialitäten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, allerdings muss man per Telefon und Schlüsselbox selbst einchecken, was aber problemlos ist. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr in Ordnung.

Es war - wie zu erwarten - kein Luxushotel, aber sowas wollte ich ja auch nicht buchen. Deshalb war die kleine, ordentliche Ausstattung für weniger Geld für mich völlig in Ordnung.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Super, super nettes Servicepersonal, breites und bequemes Bett in meinem Zimmer, alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.
Etwas hellhörig, da mitten in der Innenstadt, aber gut schließende Fenster - und Ohropax liegen bereit. Hat mich persönlich allerdings nicht gestört.

Vor unserem Zimmer saßen am Abend Männer und tranken Bier und rauchten, die konnten direkt in unser Zimmer schauen. Also hatten wir immer die Vorhänge und das Fenster geschlossen . Das war für uns nicht gerade angenehm.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Personal freundlich, Check-in problemlos. Parkplätze in der Nähe reichlich vorhanden, Zimmer akkustisch gut isoliert, Frühstück war gut. Rhein, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Laufnähe.
Am Abend sehr laut (viele Prolls, mit lauten Autos und Motorrädern); hört zum Glück auf, wenn die Läden in der Nähe schließen.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2024Very good quality continental breakfast: freshly boiled egg, juices, fresh fruit and fruit salad, yogurts, various cereals, variety of coffees or teas, fresh breads and freshly baked bread rolls, various cheeses and sausages, assorted jams, including honey and nutella, sweets and much more. :) Quiet and clean room with good beds and excellent shower facility with plenty of warm water. clean towels. Overall: Value for money

There is no air con and if you have a front room and need the windows open it is very noisy all night as it is on a busy junction

Noisy people outside the pub opposite until 3am (although it was considerate that the hotel provided ear plugs in the toiletries tray. Coffee/tea making facilities would have been nice.

A bonus was the pub across road i.e. The Thirsty Lion. The accommodation, location, and breakfast represented good value for money.

Reviewed May 5, 2016Good location in centre of Neuwied, easily walkable from train station. Hotel is unmanned after 9pm so you have to let yourself in with your own front door key. Biggest downside for me is that the hotel has some smoking rooms and the smell permeates all the corridors. Rooms which overlook the Thirsty Lion pub have some late night noise issues.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2016It's clean and functional. The breakfast is ok, but nothing exciting. The staff are wonderful. It's a little loud with the street noise, but that's the price you pay for its prime city-center location. The internet connection speed is AWFUL. That's the most important thing in today's world.
