We absolutely loved our time staying at this hotel, it felt rather luxurious given the very remote location. All kit was on site for being out in the cold weather and activities were based out of the hotel too, including sledding and snowshoes if you didn't pay for the optional extra activities. We opted to do the Laponia full 5 hour day of dogsledding and the 3 hours of snowmobiling, both were absolutley excellent. We were lucky enough to be the only couple doing these activities and our guides, Sara and Juuso, were great, ensuring that we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. The food onsite was delicious and had many of local dishes (the cloudberry panna cotta was our favourite!). We'd also like to say a huge thank you to Filippa, who made us feel very welcomed and at home during our stay. She was also kind enough to knock on our door so we could see the most fantastic aurora borealis display. Thank you to everyone at Beana Laponia, we very much hope to return in future.

Everything was amazing , they had a very limited food menu and there was really nothing to do on the evenings do to the remote location.

Transport into the city would have helped.

Service und inkludierte Leistungen passen nicht zum Zimmerpreis. Die Ausstattung ist OK aber nicht dem Preis angemessen. Sehr einfaches Zimmer für 450€ (altes Gebäude, Zimmer gegenüber der Rezeption mit Blick auf den Eingang) Jedliche Leistung ist mit hohen Zusatzkosten verbunden (auch die Sauna kostet extra, was prinzipiell okay ist aber auch hier bei außergewöhnlichem Preis keine aussergewöhnliche Leistung, der Saunabereich war in Ordnung aber definitiv kein Highlight) Touren hatten wir keine beim Hotel gebucht, können diese daher nicht beurteilen, da auch diese preislich überzogen waren. Ich hätte für den Preis mehr erwartet bzw hatte bei gleichem Preis in einer anderen Unterkunft deutlich bessere Leistungen und Service.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality of all the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Everyone was so friendly and always greeted me with a smile, which added to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. The location is absolutely perfect,peaceful and calm, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. Each morning, I looked forward to the amazing breakfast that offered a delightful variety of options. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious meals that exceeded my expectations. Hotel nicht zu groß und tolle Ausflüge

Lage zu abseits, deshalb keine Möglichkeit in andere Restaurants zu gehen. Außerdem nur ein Menü zum Abendessen möglich, gut wären weitere einfachere Gerichte zum wählen

Sehr hübsch eingerichtetes und ruhiges Hotel in toller Lage. Das große Highlight ist die Huski-Safari, die direkt vom Hotel aus losgeht und ein wunderbares Erlebnis ist.

Für extern gebuchte Erlebnisse muss man die 45 Minuten zum Treffpunkt nach Rovaniemi fahren. Ein Auto ist also angebracht.

Super hôtel dans un environnement de rêve. L’équipe est au petit soin et très agréable. La restauration est de très bonne qualité (petit dej et dîner). Les équipements de la chambre/literie sont top !

Great hotel. A little farther out so a car is necessary in my opinion, unless you want to pay for taxis (expensive) or stay at the hotel. Food was delicious, decor cosy, and staff were lovely.

Options for breakfast were limited. Dinner, lunch and snacks were expensive. Husky experiences were very expensive.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal (fast ausschließlich) sehr nett und hilfsbereit - Ausnahme eine etwas ältere Dame an der Rezeption - bei Ihr hatten wir den Eindruck Gäste stören eher und machen nur Arbeit - alle Anderen waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Auch das Abendessen war sehr gut - mit Weinbegleitung liegt man bei 100€ p.P. für 3 Gänge und es gibt nur ein Gericht pro Abend. wir waren 7 Nächte dort und jedes Gericht war sehr lecker.

Die Lodge liegt sehr weit ausserhalb von Rovaniemi - ohne Mietwagen hängt man dort fest da es nichts drum herum gibt. Das ist auf der einen Seite schön hat aber zur Folge man kann nur in der Lodge essen und auch nur die Angebote der Lodge nutzen. Beides ist sehr gut aber auch etwas teuerer. Wenn man seine Touren mit den Huskys nicht vor der Ankunft gebucht hat kann es passieren die sind ausgebucht. Wenn man eine Aurora Tour aber vorher bucht und es ist völlig bewölkt kann man die nicht stornieren - d.h. man bezahlt viel Geld für eine Tour auf der man keine Polarlichter sieht. Die Touren sind toll - die Hunde total süß und es macht viel Spass in kleinen Gruppen eine Husky Tour zu unternehmen aber man muss sagen preislich liegen diese Touren recht hoch. Taxi zur Lodge kostet bei 2 Personen ca. 300€ one Way!!, Husky Tour 384€ p.P für 5h, Motorschlitten 5h 384€ p.P. selbst die Sauna liegt bei ca. 380€ für 1-6 Personen.... WLAN gab es aber der Access Point musste häufiger neu gestartet werden da so das Netz nicht nutzbar war.

Le prix des excursions est très élevés et ne vaut pas tjrs le coup. Notamment la sortie à l’arctic snow hotel. La dame du petit déjeuner n’est pas agréable du tout et la propriétaire très désagréable

Es war rundum perfekt! Sowohl die Zimmer, als auch der Service und das Essen waren ausgezeichnet. Wenn wir nochmal nach Lappland kommen, kommen gerne wieder und können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Die Huskey Tour war ein Traum und die Umgebung einfach magisch.

Es ist ein unvorstellbar schöner, idyllischer Ort zum Entschleunigen. Fernab von Touristenströmen findet man hier zauberhafte Zimmer, fantastisches Essen, super Personal und die tollsten Huskys überhaupt. Die Huskysafari war mit Abstand das Highlight unserer Ferien. Zudem gibt es Thermoausrüstung, Schneeschuhe, Schlitten (inkl. beleuchtetem Hügel) und auch Skier gratis in der Unterkunft. Wir haben die Tage hier unheimlich genossen.

Das Essen ist fantastisch, ohne Frage - es gibt jedoch keine Auswahlmöglichkeiten (ein fixes Menü) und die Portionen sind etwas klein.

Beautiful place! Very kind hosts, especially Filippa from Greece! It was -30 and we took incredible Huskey ride, and it was best ever thing in our lives. Visit this place because this dogs are beautiful here! And the ride in wilderness is really something! Hotel is so cozy...wood, fireplace....Everything is so nice! Two rivers met on this place, trees, lights in courtyard....wow! The room was superb!

The staff was extremely nice, the room had winter overalls included in the price . Breakfast was amazing, very fresh and a multitude of choices .

The prices are a bit high and the property is a bit remote , but that can be an advantage when hunting for Aurora.

eigenlijk was alles top Misschien 1 klein puntje als je echt een detail moet zoeken: ze zijn wat zuinig op de open haard. Die mocht voor ons vaker branden voor de gezelligheid. Dat zou helemaal fantastisch geweest zijn! Maar nogmaals: het is een detail!

It's really far from town (an hour and an expensive cab ride) so prepare to feel a bit stuck and isolated, which is good in nature -- just hard when everything is so expensive. Aurora Lights excursion just fair -- husky dog sledding a must.

De locatie is prachtig maar je kunt er alleen met een auto of taxi komen. Verder is er binnen een straal van 1 uur rijden gewoon NIKS. De omgeving is heel stil. Het hotel ook. Lekker kleinschalig. Omdat wij erg laat geboekt hebben, was er geen standaard kamer meer en hadden we een heel luxe kamer met eigen sauna. Dit was echt fantastisch maar uiteraard ook prijzig. In de badkamer zijn heel veel artikelen van Rituals. Geen wegwerp verpakkingen maar grote navulverpakkingen. Zo lekker luxe.....De kamer was schoon en ook lekker warm en een heerlijke zithoek. 2 heel grote kasten voor de kleding. Een klein keukenblokje. Het is gewoon een klein appartementje. Wij hebben het geluk gehad dat we 2x het noorderlicht een beetje konden zien. Ze doen dan zoveel mogelijk buitenlichten uit bij het hotel en er is best een open ruimte voor het hotel dus we konden het goed zien. Thermopak, laarzen, sokken, bivakmuts en wanten zijn gratis te leen in het hotel. Het ontbijt was meer dan genoeg met heerlijk verse dingen, diverse soorten eieren enz. Het diner was van uitstekende kwaliteit, echt super, maar wij vonden het hoofdgerecht heel klein. Je bent lekker buiten bezig en hongerig en dan lust je wel wat maar dat is dus een beetje weinig. (Vonden wij). Alle excursies zijn bij het hotel te boeken. Ik had vooraf info over de excursies opgevraagd en alvast besteld. De excursies starten echt bij de voordeur. De excursies met lunch zijn echt leuk om te doen. Dan ben je ook een beetje de hele dag bezig want verder is er weinig te doen. Je kunt wel sneeuwschoenen lenen, een slee of langlaufen. De receptie geeft ook tips voor wandelroutes enz. Zoek je rust en comfort, dan ben je aan het goede adres.

Het hoofdmenu een beetje grotere portie zou erg gewenst zijn. Ook zou voor ons het diner in iets rustiger tempo geserveerd mogen worden. We hadden een wijnarrangement bij het diner, maar je glas is nauwelijks (of nog niet) leeg en de volgende gang wordt al geserveerd. Op het gemak eten was er voor ons gevoel niet helemaal bij. Maar de kwaliteit is echt SUPER en we aten er 4 avonden en het was steeds anders. We hebben er echt van genoten. Alles is erg duur maar dat ligt niet alleen aan het hotel. Heel Finland is peperduur.

Das Abendessen war immer sehr lecker, das Frühstück in Ordnung (die Pfannkuchen waren toll!), aber die Auswahl war eher klein. Die Lage ist recht abgeschieden, man benötigt also unbedingt ein Auto, wenn man etwas herumkommen möchte. Die gebuchte Husky-Tour war wirklich toll, ein einmaliges Erlebnis!

Einige der Mitarbeiterinnen waren einfach unfreundlich, anders kann man es nicht beschreiben. Wir hatten vorab keine Touren gebucht, da wir diese etwas abhängig vom Wetter machen wollten. Also fragten wir beim Einchecken, ob noch eine Husky-Tour verfügbar wäre (wir blieben mehrere Nächte). Da wurde erstmal viel Tamtam daraus gemacht, dass wir vorab buchen hätten müssen, weil jetzt wären sie komplett voll. Als die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption dann aber nachsah, konnte sie uns mehrere Termine anbieten. Dann hatten wir extra gefragt, ob wir uns immer zum Abendessen anmelden müssten und bekamen als Antwort, dass dies nicht notwendig sei. Als wir dann am nächsten Abend zum Abendessen erschienen, wurden wir wieder angepflaumt so a la "Na da hätten Sie aber vorher Bescheid geben müssen, jetzt muss ich erstmal schauen ob wir sie unterbringen können...". Solche unangenehm/blöden Kommentare haben wir öfters bekommen und ganz ehrlich - der Ton macht die Musik. Es kommt immer drauf an wie man etwas sagt und der Ton hier war einfach mehrfach nicht angebracht. Wir würden definitiv hier nicht mehr herkommen.

The location is so remotely beautiful, the tours they organize are a dream, the food is exquisite and the staff was perfect! Definitely recommend it!

The sauna in the room doesn’t have a fully closable door and it didn’t heat up properly.

Lovely boutique accommodation in a countryside location with very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Staff were excellent - helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed the activities available here. The set dinner was interesting and beautifully presented, and there was a lovely selection at breakfast as well as cooked to order dishes.

Shower door leaked a bit. Bar area was a little cold in the evenings.

L'hotel è completamente immerso in un bosco magico, con camere spaziose e ben arredate, ottima colazione e ristorante. Le attività proposte sono però l'highlight: l'husky safari è fatto da professionisti esperti, poco turistico e soprattutto molto emozionante. Lo consiglio a tutti!

Poco o nulla, unica cosa in camera faceva un po' freddo anche con il riscaldamento al massimo (però c'erano -35 gradi fuori, peggio di così non poteva andare)

The breakfast was delightful. The location was remote and beautiful. The room was gorgeous and quiet and the view was lovely. The staff were kind and attentive. The husky sledding experience was unforgettable. I didn't want to leave the sauna and the relaxation room.

Oddly, our waitress came up to us during dinner on our last night and reminded us about settling our bill. They didn't do that to anybody else there and we weren't sure how to take that. We would have appreciated some discretion because it gave the appearance that they didn't expect us to pay the bill.

Fabulous location, Great staff . I mentioned at check in I don't eat chocolate as we agreed to book dinner fully expecting to have the same conversation in the restaraunt. No need to when we arrived I was offered alternative options.

We felt instantly immersed in the tranquility of Lapland, with stunning walks right on the doorstep. The intimate atmosphere, impeccably equipped rooms, and warm, attentive staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. Breakfast offered a wonderful spread, but the real culinary magic happened at dinner – each night's set menu was a delicious surprise. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the activities. Small groups and expert, friendly guides made every experience feel special. We left Beana Laponia with hearts full of adventure and the unforgettable beauty of Lapland.

El lugar es un autentico paraiso, apartado y muy tranquilo, con zonas preparadas y señalizadas para pasear y descubrir el lugar. Las instalaciones son maravillosas y muy acogedoras, dan mucha sensacion de calidez, y ofrecen muchas actividades.

el unico punto malo, que para mi no lo es, es que esta muy apartado por lo que es imprescindible alquilar un coche para desplazarte, y asi de esta manera explorar el resto de lugares recomendados

Beautiful shelter in the middle of nature, super clean, really warm and cozy, great design and attention to detail, communal living room is a nice place to rest and chat with other guests and with hosts. Lovely reindeers outside the porch and opportunities for safaris. The chef prepares lovely meals and the staff is very professional and friendly at the same time. Highly recommended !!

Environnement exceptionnel (forêt, rivière,…). Petit hôtel pour adultes uniquement. Repas très savoureux. Mets de qualité. Propreté irréprochable. Et surtout des activités au top (chiens de traîneaux,…), avec des guides très sympathiques et en petits groupes (de 2 à 8 personnes maximum). C’est un endroit magique pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la sérénité et qui veulent être en accord avec la nature. Une très belle découverte.

Hotel magnífico. En un paraíso de la naturaleza. Te pueden preparar unas excursiones magníficas. Trineos con huskies y motos por la verdadera tundra. Solo por eso merece la pena el desplazarse a este lugar. Desayuno de calidad. Estilo refugio de los Alpes. Madera y bien decorado. Personal amable y pendiente de todo. Magnífico.

Solo dispone de servicio de cafetería de bebidas. Únicamente hay un menú de tres platos sin posibilidad de escoger tanto para comer como para cenar, sin alternativa de carta alguna ni en la cafetería ni en el restaurante. Dado lo apartado de lugar o ayunas o comes el menú a 62 euros.

Beautiful property surrounded by nature, friendly staff, comfortable + clean rooms. Included breakfast was delicious. Saw the northern lights from the property’s front yard!

Not a big deal, but we wished there were some a la carte dining options for lunch/dinner. Being so far out from everything, it would have been nice to have more variety of options when you aren’t hungry for a multi-course meal.

Zauberhaftes kleines Hotel mitten im NICHTS, genau nach meinem Geschmack. Einfach die Ruhe genießen. Traumhaft. Die Sitzmöglichkeit direkt am Kamin und gleich daneben die Hotelbar, besser geht es nicht. Einrichtung: uhrig skandinavisch modern luxurious. Danke.

de Laponia day activiteit is echt een aanrader ! Met max 8 personen doe je huskytoer in prachtige landschap ( ongeveer 40 km) met een picnicstop met kampvuur ! de gidsen Vincent en Tony waren super vriendelijk en hebben ons een ongelooflijke dag bezorgd

Dat het hotel wel ver is van alles en bijvoorbeeld een ander restaurant ( ongeveer 35 min rijden)

I can't articulate how amazing our stay at Beana Laponia was. I took my girlfriend away for her 30th birthday, the location was great, 45 minutes from the airport, it was quite isolated which was lovely and peaceful. The food was equal to that of the nicest restaurants I have been to. The staff were friendly and helpful. The activities were out of this world. A trip i'll never forget,,,,

Everything! The nature trails around the property, the rooms, the staff, the food, the huskies, the reindeer, the other guests, the activities—all a Lapland dream…

The ONLY thing was the music—lol! I tried to curl up by the fireplace in the bar area a few times and watch the snow or read in the afternoons and the playlist was 70/80s American rock. I would end up going back in my room. I love that music for a road-trip, just not there in such a cozy environment.
