Arion Hotel

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much we liked.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a big disappointment, especially considering the photos and reviews that made us choose it. The staff were not welcoming or friendly at all. During our stay, we didn’t even receive a simple “good morning.” 😳 The hotel is located high above the sea, and you have to walk down a steep path to reach the waterfront. There is no actual beach directly in front of the hotel. To find a place to swim, you have to walk to either side and pay to access the beach. What was even more disappointing was the lack of information from the reception. We asked on our first day about how to access the beach and where to go, but we were simply told that the information was “on the paper” we had been given. That paper only contained our identification details and provided no useful information about the beach. The day before we left, we happened to see the hotel’s vehicle near the roadside after coming up from the beach. Only by chance did we discover that there was a hotel vehicle available to take guests back to the hotel. Overall, do not expect a four-star hotel experience. In our opinion, the service, hospitality, and facilities did not meet the standard we would expect from a four-star hotel.

Samos Adasında araba olmazsa olmaz. Arabanız olunca her yer size yakın oluyor. Otelin manzarası güzel. Kahvaltısı Avrupa standartların üstünde. En güzeli tarafı Omlet veya göz yumurta hazırlatabiliyorsunuz. Odalar temiz, Temizlik her gün yapılıyor.

Ada rüzgarlı olduğu için, Küvetin oradaki pencerelerin değişik stili olduğu için banyo yaparken hem duş alıyorsunuz hem de rüzgarı hissediyorsunuz. farklı bir deneyim oldu.

What an incredibly fantastic hotel! Arion Hotel is on a hilltop with fantastic views of the port town of Kokkari and the surrounding hills. It has 108 rooms, in 8 separate buildings spread across well maintained gardens. The main building has a lift as there are three floors, whereas the other buildings only have two floors. On our visit there was only three British couples; most of the guests are Dutch, German or Nordic. This hotel tends to attract older guests. The rooms are a good size and very functional. We had a ground floor room, 109, in the main building as my wife had a recent hip operation and her mobility was limited. Every member of staff was fantastic; friendly, very professional and engaging. The cleaner worked very hard and we had a change of towels and the room was cleaned every day The air con was “free” but for a safe key it was €2 a day! (my only gripe). Breakfast had a large selection of fruits, cereals, cheeses, meats, cakes, bread et al, as well as an egg station making omelettes and fried eggs which was very popular. It would be useful to label all the food as it was confusing to me as a vegetarian what I could and could not eat. The pool was very clean and was a refreshing cool down from sunbathing. Plenty of sunlounges, even at midday. Towels cost €5 to hire for the week and €5 deposit per towel per week. These you can change every day and at the end you get your €5 deposit per towel. There are two shifts in the bar and both teams are very friendly and work incredibly hard. I recommend the Greek Salad and Tuna Baguette; both very filling. The bar is cashless, so you either have a “tab” or pay by card. The pool side toilets are very clean. Getting into Town Firstly there are only four operating taxis in Kokkari; we only ever had to walk back once as we waited for over 25 mins. Reception can order you a taxi and it is €7 per couple, so if you share it is still €7, but the driver gets €14. The taxi wait is not very long, apart from that one time. To walk down the hill there is a track running from the pool down to the bottom of the main road. My wife has mobility issues and she made the trip down the track at least 5 times. For us the walk was not half as bad as some reviews state; you just have to be careful under foot. Restaurants Meltimi Bosscula La Casa Bars Kalamira bar Sailing bar

Die Lage!

Her yer tertemizdi. Bugüne kadar kaldığımız en temiz otel diyebilirim. Çarşaflarında bir tane leke bile yoktu

Çocuk parkı yok. Odada sineklik yok. Bir de eğer araç kiralamadıysanız her yere uzak bir konumda ama yine de insanlar yürüyerek gidebiliyordu. Kahvaltısı idare ederdi.

Das Frühstück war prima und die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend.

Das Badezimmer ist sauber und ordentlich, aber hat ein gewissen "griechischen" Touch. Da wäre ein Modernisierung angebracht.

Konumu, manzarası, doğayla iç içe olması, kahvaltısı ve havuzu çok güzeldi.

Özelliklere bungalovlara böcek girme ihtimalinin yüksek olması nedeniyle ilaçlama yapılması gerekir. Biz 3 aile girmiştik, iki odada kırkayak çıktı.

Odalar tenizdi, personelde illgili , merkeze çok uzak değil

Otel tatil köyü gibi , yamaçta, büyük bir alanda yeşillik içinde. hem aşağıda deniz manzarası, hem arkada dağ manzarası var. Personel güler yüzlü, resepsiyondaki hanım çok sıcak kanlı davrandı. Kahvaltıdaki personel de saygılı ve yardımseverdi.

otel çok eski, biz bahçeye açılan tek katlı odalarda kaldık. Sabah 8:00de yan odada temizlik görevlilerinin bağıra bağıra konuşma sesine uyandık, arkasına da 8:15te bahçıvan çimleri biçiyordu. Sesten uyumak mümkün değildi. Mayıs ayında hava soğuktu ve klimalar ısıtma ayarında çalışmıyordu. Sabah duştan sıcak su gelmedi, ben soğuk su ile duş alıp çıktıktan sonra sıcak akmaya başladı. Bu kadar ağaçlık bir yerde kapıda sineklik yoktu. Artık ormandan odanıza hangi misafir gelirse, kapı pencereler açık. Biraz yatırımla çok iyi bir tesise dönüşebilir aslında.

Her yer böcek, yatakların üzerinde karıncalar. Kahvaltı yiyeceklerinde sadece dışarıdan gelen böcekler değil yemekhanesinde bile böcekler vardı.

Tesisin yerleşimi çok güzeldi. Odalar tek katlı binalarda yer alıyordu ve manzarası gerçekten harikaydı. Her odanın kendine ait küçük bir terası olması çok güzeldi. Resepsiyonda görevli hanımın konukseverliği çok hoştu. Odalar gayet temizdi, kahvaltıdaki çeşitler yeterli ve lezzetliydi

Otel, kokkari, vahty, pisagor bölgelerini gezmek için yeterli bir konumda. Merkeze mesafe 15 dk. merkez yerine yarı fiyatına burada kalınabilir. Yeşilliğin içinde babaanne evi özleyenler için iyi bir seçim olabilir.

Aslında odalar temiz. Ancak doğanın içinde olduğundan solucan, salyangoz, örümcek ve küçük böceklerden olabiliyor. Kahvaltı birer çeşit peynir ve zeytin, Domates, yumurta, kek, mısır gevreği, kruvasan ve reçel vb ürünlerden oluşuyor

Klima düğmesi bozuktu ama ilgilenilmedi. Allahtan 2 odamız vardı. Çalışan düğmeyi tak çıkar yaparak 2 odada da kullandık

Heel mooie Het was een fijne plek, maar het was geen schoon hotel dat een viersterrenwaardering waardig was. Het ontbijt was niet goed. Er stond een week lang geen groente of fruit op de ontbijttafel. De kwaliteit was erg slecht. Ik heb er een week lang niet van genoten voor de hoge prijs die ik ervoor betaalde.

De badkamer was niet schoongemaakt, hoewel ze beloofden dat dat elke dag zou gebeuren. Het bed en de matras waren erg oncomfortabel. Er waren geen restaurants of cafés in de buurt. Het eten in het hotel was erg slecht, van slechte kwaliteit en duur. Het kostte twintig euro per persoon en er waren geen drankjes. We moesten drie euro en vijftig cent betalen voor een klein flesje water. Het was echt vreemd. Er was niets in het hotel, alleen een klein zwembad waar de bedden snel vol raakten. Met de 1600 euro die ik voor een week betaalde, had ik geen rust.

Manzarası güzeldi. Çok havadar bir bölgedeydi. Temizlik de iyiydi. Kokari merkeze yakın ama denize inmek zor. Havuz idare eder.

Otel bakımlı ama yine de çok eski. Yatak ve yastıklar çok sert, yayları sırtımıza battı, acilen değişmeli. Kahvaltı açık büfe ama kalitesi düşük, memnun kalmadık. Bar’ı da pahalı.

İşletmeci hanım ve Andrea çok nezaketli, ilgiliydiler. Kahvaltı şahane. Sessizlik, temizlik. Kediler…

Rezervasyonum deniz manzaralı deluxe oda şeklindeydi fakat tam tersi taraf yani ön sokağa bakıyordu. Balkon masasına oturduğumuzda küçük bir aralıktan deniz manzarasını masadaki ikinci kişi göremiyordu. Bu konu ilk anda can sıkıcıydı…

Çalışanların yaklaşımı harikaydı. Bebeğimiz olduğu için birkaç saat geç çıkış rica etmiştik. Dilediğimizde çıkabileceğimizi söylediler. İnanılmazdı. Ek olarak yemek bölümünün ana sorumlusu da çok ilgili ve sıcak kanlı bir beyefendiydi. Kahvaltıları da gayet iyiydi

Açıkçası beğenmediğimiz hiçbir şey olmadı. Her şey düşünülmüştü gayet iyiydi

Çalışanların güleryüzlü olması ve birçok konuda yardımcı olmaları- örneğin 2 saat erken check-in ricamızı kabul ettiler- muhteşem manzarası, peyzajı ve odaların yerleşim planı sayesinde herşey çok güzeldi. Kahvaltısı çeşitli, odamız ferah.

Sadece birkaç dakikalık dik bir yamaçtan arabayla tırmanarak varmayı göze alın.

The view is great. The surroundings are very clean, and the staff is friendly, hardworking, and always smiling. It's an ideal place for elderly or disabled guests, couples with children, or anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing holiday. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless, with plenty of shelves and hangers in the wardrobes. The bathroom is spacious and practical. The pool area and pool bar create a separate, inviting space where you can sit and enjoy conversations in the evenings. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety that can appeal to all tastes. In the evenings, there’s also the option to have dinner on-site, and during the day, a shuttle bus service is available to take you to nearby beaches — a great bonus.

Tesis temiz. Çalışanlar çok yardımcı güleryüzlü ve pozitif. Özellikle Restoran daki Şef Emiliano’ya özellikle çok teşekkür ederiz. Çok güzel bir anı oldu. Çok nazik ve kibarlar.

Yatakların bazıları gacır gucur ses çıkarıyordu ama hemen odamızı değiştirdiler 🙏

Generous spaces and outdoor areas. The pool bar, pool area and short cut to Kokkari town. The Daily bus and closeness to Lemonakia and Navagos Beaches. Litsa and Natalia at reception can organize anything you need for a wonderful stay.

The rooms are spacious with beautiful views. My bed might have been a little firm, but that’s good for me!

Beds extremely low. Bathroom very dated. Shower over narrow bath with clingy shower curtain. No hot water in mornings. Extremely dated and with poor amenities for the price paid.

Topontbijt. Royaal buffet met vers gebakken ei en pannenkoekjes en goede koffie. Prachtig uitzicht op bergen en zee. Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers! Schoon.

Niets. Misschien de privacy als je op je balkon zit. Misschien een iets hogere afscherming? En uitzicht betekent ook een klimmetje op en af de heuvel om naar kokkari of beach te lopen. Voor ons goed te doen. Maar ben je slecht ter been: de hotelbus brengt je gratis.!

Prachtig hotel met een prachtig uitzicht. Superschoon. Geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt. En prachtig uitzicht.

Van mij mag het bad met douchegordijn eruit. En een rubbertje tussen de deur oid. Om half 7 klapte de eerste deur al dicht.

Het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het balkon, het ontbijt met alles wat je wilde, goeie koffie, lekkere douche, mooi zwembad, gezellige bar ‘s avonds en op loopafstand van Kokkari (10 minuten).

De bedden waren wat hard, maar we kregen een extra topper en toen ging het een stuk beter.

Özellikle otelin manzarası ve sakinliği sevenler için yerleşkesi güzel. Otelin personelleri çok ilgili ve acayip cana yakınlar. Özellikle resepsiyonda görevli Natalia isimli çalışandan çok fazla memnun kaldık.

Otel çok eski ve bakıma ihtiyacı var. Otel çok temiz olmasına rağmen otelde yapılan temizlik kendisini göstermiyor. Diğer yandan otelin giriş ve çıkış yolu çok tehlikeli kaza yapma olasılığı çok yüksek. Otel ana merkeze biraz uzak. Araba kiralamadan gitmek biraz zor. Otelin kendi ring aracı var ama belli bir saatte bitiyor.

Het uitzicht

De bedden waren heel hard en de spiralen van het matras prikken in je rug. Het bad kan niet worden gebruikt want geen stop aanwezig. Doet massaal aan en veel groepen toeristen.

Υπέροχη τοποθεσία. Φιλικό προσωπικό. Καθαριότητα στα δωμάτια άριστη. Πρωινό αρκετά καλό και το φαγητό το βράδυ υπέροχο.
