Don’t expect any leniency in the check-in time. We arrived 45 mins early to a nearly empty hotel after a long car journey and they made us wait till long gone 15:00.

Nessuna colazione a differenza dello anno. Per farla si è costretti ad andare in un altro villaggio perché non si trovano locali aperti prima delle 11 a Matala.

La posizione perfetta ! Veramente a 10 minuti esatti a piedi dal centro. La piscina ben tenuta e grande e ci hanno prestato anche un ombrellone per andare in spiaggia .in più parcheggio in struttura

Peccato che non facciano a quanto pare delle stanze con un letto matrimoniale ma tutte con letti singoli! Bagno forse troppo piccolo e materasso non super comodo

Einchecken um 15Uhr, eine Mitarbeiterin war anwesend und zeigte uns unser Eckzimmer im 1. Stock, nachdem wir unseren PKW auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz, gebührenfrei, abgestellt haben. Im Zimmer zwei bequeme Einzelbetten, Tresor, TV, Klimaanlage ( ohne Zusatzkosten), Badezimmer hell gefliest mit Wellnessdusche, separatem kleineren Duschkopf, Shampoo, Föhn und ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Kleiderschrank mit genügend Bügeln im Zimmer ebenfalls vorhanden. Es gibt ausreichend Steckdosen im Zimmer/ Bad. Ferner gab es noch ein Mückenstecker mit Tablette. Das Zimmer war angenehm kühl, Fensterläden mit Fliegengittern waren vorhanden. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dimitris hat uns begrüßt und angeboten ihn bei Problemen direkt anzurufen. Der Pool war sauber und es gab ausreichend Liegen zum verweilen. Badehandtücher zur Nutzung außerhalb des Zimmers liegen im Zimmer bereit.

Der Frühstücksraum und die Poolbar war aufgrund Personalmangel, geschlossen, Es gibt aber ausreichend Möglichkeiten ausserhalb zu frühstücken oder etwas zu trinken. Gleich an der Hauptstrasse gegenüber und rechts.

La stanza Puzzava tremendamente di fogna. Questa puzza veniva dal wc e per stare in casa dovevi aprire tutto (no zanzariere) ma col ventaccio di lì un po disagiante. Non c’è un bar come indicato su strada quindi per acquistare qualsiasi cosa comunque devi arrivare al villaggio

Comoda a 7-8 minuti dal mare

La piscine : grande, propre et avec un cadre superbe. La proximité de la plage. La SDB belle, propre et fonctionnelle.

Les chambres doubles sont petites et la porte de la salle de bain transparente qui laissait passer le jour le matin

Un soir et le lendemain matin nous n'avions plus d'eau dans les sanitaires, le manque d'accueil et de communication avec les gérants, climatisation bruyante.

The pool and parking were a huge bonus but what I liked mostly was how well I slept …the beds were very comfortable. I loved that I could open both the front and rear doors so that the cross ventilation made the room delightfully cool on hot July afternoons.

The room size was a little compact but we worked with it.

L'emplacement! Pas au coeur de matala mais juste un peu plus haut pour ne pas avoir les échos de la ville et se sentir comme au coeur des montagnes ! La piscine ! Canon et surtout pas juste en bas de l'hôtel ce qui permet de conserver le calme et la paix de l'établissement.

La literie manque un peu de confort,les oreillers sont plats et trop petits et un seul par personne..:/ Et l'évacuation de l'eau de la douche ne fonctionne pas ...piscine assurées dans la salle de bain!

Super locatie, loopafstand naar het centrum. Heerlijk zwembad. Rustig, weg van de drukte. Hele fijne douche Lekkere bedden Veel handdoeken. Zowel voor douchen als voor het zwembad.

De kamer is klein en donker, airco op het terras rammelt en maakt herrie. Maar het verblijf is ideaal als je hier alleen komt om te slapen of aan het einde van de dag lekker bij het zwembad te genieten en daarna te vertrekken naar het centrum. Het personeel is er niet de hele dag. Alleen bij check in en voor de schoonmaak, maar je het nummer van de host hangt overal, dus je kunt ze bereiken.

The rooms, while very clean could do with a bit of an update. some basic crockery/cutlery would have been useful for self catering. The hosts lent us some from their kitchen

Pas grand chose à vrai dire...la piscine et la gentillesse et disponibilité de notre hôte qui a tout fait pour pallier au problème de climatisation de notre chambre qui ne fonctionnait pas et faisait de l'air chaud

L'emplacement de la piscine est un peu loin des chambres, il y a une structure bar restaurant mais elle n'est pas ouverte vraiment dommage, les chambres peu de confort, l'électricité à revoir, les odeurs catastrophiques de la salle de bain. Le compresseur de la clim très très bruyant de la terrasse positionné au-dessus de notre tête et qui coule. Les lits pas confortables, les draps quasi transparents et les serviettes de bain très rêches. Pas de petit déjeuner et du coup 10 min a pied pour prendre le petit dej le matin à Matala.

Small family hotel, nicely decorated swimming pool, clean new rooms with everything necessary. 10 min walk to Matala beach, excellent location for visiting Festos, Gortina.

Deux nuits en juillet. Très fonctionnel, les clés étaient sur la porte de la chambre à notre arrivée et nous les avons laissées au même endroit à notre départ. Parking juste en bas de la chambre, impeccable. Très bon emplacement, à cinq minutes du front de mer de Matala

La chambre est moderne avec tout le nécessaire, la piscine est parfaite , on se gare facilement et on est près de matala.

Il n'y a pas de restaurant, ni de petit déjeuner ni de bar, il faut aller dans matala pour se restaurer.

Új és kényelmes bútorok. Nagy parkoló volt tágas parkolás lehetőséggel, az épület területén.

Érkezéskor senki nem fogadott bennünket. Mint később kiderült ez nagy gond volt mivel a tusoló lefolyója el volt tömődve és a tusoláskor a lefolyóból feljött a víz elöntötte a fürdőt és a szobát is. Sajnos senkit nem találtunk az épületben a személyzetböl. A légkondi olyan hangosan működött hogy éjszaka ki kellett kapcsolni így meg nagyon meleg volt.

L'area piscina è ben curata e tranquilla. Noi l'abbiamo utilizzata soprattutto nel tardo pomeriggio ed è stata molto piacevole. Il bar della piscina era chiuso, probabilmente per l'orario, ma non ha inciso particolarmente sulla nostra esperienza. La posizione è buona: il centro di Matala è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi ed è anche un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare le spiagge e le località vicine. La camera era molto ampia, pulita e dotata di un piacevole terrazzino. Pur non avendo incluso la colazione, abbiamo apprezzato la presenza di un frigorifero e di un bollitore con caffè monodose, utili per una colazione semplice in autonomia.

I letti e, soprattutto, i cuscini non sono risultati particolarmente comodi. Per il resto la struttura è semplice, tranquilla e funzionale.

Buona posizione, si raggiunge a piedi spiaggia e lungomare. Camere essenziali abbastanza pulite.

La struttura si trova in una zona un po’ scarna, non bellissima e il bar della piscina non lo abbiamo mai trovato aperto!

Der Preis war natürlich Tip, wir haben für 2 Nächte/2Personen 121,- bezahlt. Der Pool war auch sehr angenehm.

Der Empfang der älteren Dame war sehr...trocken. Griechische Gastfreundschaft kennen wir anders. Der Weg zum Pool war etwas, sagen wir, spartanisch. Es gab weder die Möglichkeit, ein Frühstück dazuzubuchen, noch gab es eine Poolbar oder Getränkemöglichkeit am Pool. Beim Check-out war nirgends jemand, es gibt eine Infozettel, dass man beim Check-out den Schlüssel an der Tür stecken lassen soll. Preis-Leistung ist OK, aber man erwartet eben etwas anderes.

Der Pool der zur „Anlage“ gehört. Freie Parkplätze. Badezimmer Dusche war gut.

Der Geruch, wenn man den Raum betrat war muffig/ modrig was aber nach guter Lüftungsaktion nahezu verschwand. Der Kühlschrank kann nur kaufen wenn der Wasserkocher abgesteckt wurde.

Very quiet location, and room was basic but very clean with modern bathroom and great shower. Short walk to main road, about 6 minutes walk to beach and centre of Matala. Would stay again, pool area nice and again quiet.

El agua fría sale caliente, a veces muy muy caliente. Las camas son duras de muelles y son un poco incómodas.

Appartement was prima en mooie douche.Goede locatie en prachtig zwembad met ligbedjes. Heel mooi. Binnen no time sta je op het strand. Mooi balcon en veel aanwezig zoals Föhn, shampoo. Ook waterkoker en droogrek. Appartement was heel schoon. Het zag er zeer verzorgd uit. Grote parkeerplaats.

Aangezien er geen ontbijt meer wordt geserveerd zou het handig zijn bestek in appartement te zetten zodat je daar kunt ontbijten. Eigenaar reageert snel maar je ziet ze niet. Mis de zo geprezen warme ontvangst zoals gebruikelijk in Griekenland. Jammer genoeg geen paar flesjes koud water in koelkast. Buitenkant appartementencomplex verdient een likje verf

Posizione ottima mare a 10 minuti, parcheggio in struttura, zona piscina molto bella. Camera un po' piccola ma pulita e confortevole. Bagno nuovo. Tutto come.desvritto.

De locatie is lekker rustig, dat vind ik fijn en niet ver van het stadje.

Het is er erg gehorig, je hoort de airco unit van de buren als deze aan staat. Je hoort meubels schuiven bij de buren.

Der Pool war sehr schön. Die Lage sehr ruhig, zum Zentrum fußläufig nicht sehr weit. Das Bad schön modern renoviert. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das win oder andere gehört renoviert.

Schöne kleine Anlage mit Parkplatz und Pool. Das Zimmer war klein aber gut aufgeteilt Sehr modernes Bad. Es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt (Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher etc. )Ein Highlight waren die Make up Handtücher!!! Gerne wieder.

Ein Haken zum Jacken aufhängen wäre schön.

Mooie gerenoveerde kamer en heel rustig gelegen met een mooi zwembad. Het was op wandelafstand van het strand, restaurants en winkeltjes. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid aan de kamer. Vriendelijke gastheer.

Jammer dat je er geen ontbijt kon krijgen zoals vermeld op booking. De bar aan het zwembad was ook niet open.

Πολύ όμορφο κατάλυμα !!! Πολύ ευγενικοί άνθρωποι κ το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό ! Αφήνεις το αμάξι στο πάρκινγκ κ με τα πόδια είσαι σε 5 λεπτά στην πλατεία με τα μαγαζάκια.

On the positive side, the hotel offers great value for money, the location is good, if you do not mind walking a bit to the beach, and the rooms were clean. Parking is not a problem. Nice pool and surroundings. Very green and lovely. Hot showers despite the other reviews. I think the bathrooms are renovated. Rooms are decent and comfortable. However, the service and human courtesy were completely non-existent. We would love to have a bottle of water in the room at least, considering it is not a central location in terms of markets.

We arrived at 12:00 knowing check-in was at 15:00, simply checking whether the room might be ready earlier. There was no one at reception, and guests were left to deal only with a cleaner, who was clearly not in a position to handle guest requests. After a long journey, we were initially denied access to a restroom due to the lack of facilities in the common area, which was highly inappropriate for arriving guests. And such a dismissive behavior from the only staff member around the hotel. Only after contacting the owner via Booking.com was a restroom opened, without any apology or explanation. Communication from management was consistently poor, and our requests for updates were ignored. When we returned at 14:40, the owner was present but did not greet us not even “welcome” or provide any information, and we were simply made to wait until exactly 15:00 despite the property appearing empty in low season. This is not about strict check-in times, but about a complete lack of basic hospitality and professionalism. Leaving guests without proper reception support and refusing basic courtesy sets the wrong tone from the start. Terrible hospitality. No welcome, no farewell, no communication, and even my post-checkout message was ignored. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We will not be returning. We are happy to stay only for one night and not ruined the whole holiday.

Wonderful location. The rooms were cozy, new and nice. Bathroom very nice but maybe the shower glass was too short and it was difficult to shower without splashing water all over. The swimming pool with a view was beautiful as well. Quiet and silent. AC was working properly.

It's not host's fault, but the surroundings are a bit worn out. There are some abandoned buildings. But overall it's very nice.

Вилла расположена в 10 минутах ходьбы от пляжа и шумных ресторанов и магазинов. Здесь очень спокойно. Хозяйка сдержанная, но доброжелательная. Возможно, она не очень хорошо владеет английским, но старается помочь.

Einfache, saubere und zentrumsnahe Unterkunft mit eigenem grossen Parkplatz

Ich war nun schon mehrfach in diesem Hotel. Ich hatte mich zuvor auch immer wohlgefühlt. Jedoch gab es nun einen Punkt der mir überhaupt nicht gefallen hat. Dazu später mehr. Das Zimmer war soweit sauber und ok. Das Bad war neuwertig, schöne Dusche mit Abtrennung. Für den Preis alles ok. Die nette Schwester des Besitzer arbeitet leider nicht mehr da. Wasserkocher, Safe und Kühlschrank vorhanden.

Ich war wie gesagt mehrfach da und habe mich immer wohl gefühlt. Jedoch wusste ich nicht das manche Zimmer keinen richtigen Balkon haben. Auf meinen Balkon passte gerade so ein Stuhl. Man bekommt Platzangst, wie im Gefängnis. Wo soll die zweite Person sitzen? Wenn man vor der Tür sitzt hat man keine Privatsphäre und sitzt den anderen Gästen im Weg. Meiner Meinung nach sollte man das nicht als Balkon benennen. Für mich ist ein Balkon eins der wichtigsten Dinge. Mit dem wissen in so einem Zimmer zu landen, würde ich nicht wieder kommen. Siehe Bilder. Schade, das hat meinen Aufenthalt sehr eingeschränkt.

Contrairement à ce qui été annoncé l'hôtel était très mal situé. Personne à l'accueil contrairement à ce qui été annoncé. Croisé quelqu'un ? Il nous a dît nous qu'un mot était sur le comptoir de l'entrée avec les numéros de chambres et leurs clés et que nous devions les déposer au même endroit le lendemain en partant. Des chambres sans fenêtres donnant sur une coursive extérieure avec vue sur les hangars voisins !!! Une vraie escroquerie. Après 10 mn nous sommes partis à la recherche d'un autre hôtel dans la ville. En résumé: à BANNIR. Merci Booking !!!

Für eine Nacht ist das optimal.

Bei längerem Aufenthalt ist das Zimmer ist zu klein. Es war kein Balkon wie gebucht sondern eine Raucherecke im Laubengang. Es gab kein Frühstück, auch wenn es nicht gebucht war stand die Option was zu bekommen, laut Anzeige sogar im Zimmer. Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank teilen sich eine Steckdose. Im Schrank kann man nur aufhängen, nichts reinlegen. Man muss aus dem Koffer leben. Das Zimmer war gebucht mit 22qm, bekommen haben wir Schlafzimmer mit 12qm + 4qm Bad.

Sehr gute Lage am Ortsrand: Sehr ruhig und nur etwa 10 Min. zu Fuß zum Ortskern und Strand. Großer eigener Parkplatz. Sehr nette Gastwirtin. Zimmer einfach, aber ausreichend. Eigener Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Sehr gut für Hygienefans: An der Toilette ein Wasserschlauch mit Bidetbrause.

Toilette für Rechtshänder etwas zu dicht an der Duschwand. Bettdecken in der typischen südländischen Art: Wolldecke über einem Laken, das am oberen Rand umgeschlagen wird und am Fußende und den Seiten im Bettrahmen festgeklemmt wird, und das man nach spätestens zwei Umdrehungen in der Nacht mehr oder weniger zerwühlt hat und dann Kontakt zur Wolldecke hat.
