I liked the room, but unfortunately there were bed bugs and other small insects all over the walls and bed. Everyone in my family was badly bitten, with bites all over our bodies. Before staying at this hotel, we went island hopping and spent each night in simple huts on remote islands. Even though they were in the middle of nowhere, those accommodations were much cleaner, and we weren’t bitten by any bugs at all. This was very disappointing and made our stay uncomfortable.

Value for money

Lovely spacious room and location was perfect in the heart of el nido. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed and even helped us sort out getting our laundry done.

It didn’t always feel 100% clean but it is more like the outdoor indoor feel. The noise from the outside clubs was the only downfall of the property, it was extremely loud and did go on until 4:30/5am each night, but this is not the property’s fault.

Le sol n est pas propre. On a demandé à ce que le ménage soit fait tous les jours et on a malheureusement constaté que le sol n etait pas lavé malgré la presence de sable. Il y a des cafards qui se baladent partout. La photo ne correspond pas a la réalité puisque le sol de la salle de bain extérieure est en béton très désagréable.

The reception manager was super helpful and attentive - she looked after us and ensured we're happy despite us having a few complaints. The location is great - we were always within 5mins of most attractions. The bed was really comfortable and the main room felt clean.

Our room was a king room with a bathtub which is one of their more premium rooms. We didn't realise that the bathroom set up including the shower, bathtub and toilet was actually outside. This meant that it never really felt clean and it was a bit uncomfortable always having to get outside to use the toilet. The appliances outside (the bathtub shower and the shower) also weren't working particularly well - they were rusty from the humidity, the pressure wasn't great and the drain wasn't working so we ended up having a big puddle in what was the middle of our bathroom. The second big issue was the breakfast was not great. The pictures look good, and the intention is good - they don't have an actual restaurant so they bring it to your room, in the morning - but, the breakfast is not nice. We also had an issue one morning - after ordering "no nuts" every single day and mentioning it repeatedly, we ended up being given a granola bowl (on our last day) which had chopped cashews through it. This could have been really bad, as my partner is allergic to all nuts - but luckily he saw the chopped cashew and didn't eat it.

Mamy duże rozczarowanie obiektem. Brak ciepłej wody praktycznie codziennie , strumień wody taki że można się kąpać pół dnia jest to bardzo uciążliwe. Z klimatyzacji wydobywał się dziwny zapach nie czyszczonych filtrów. Nie można spać bo ciągły głos z centrum imprez.

Чисто, приємний аромат, тихо працює кондиціонер, привітній та доброзичливий персонал, з крану чиста вода (пити звісно не можна, але вода не була жовтоватою), смачний сніданок. В цілому атмосфера, де прям відчувається, що знаходишься на відпочинку:))

Нема гарячої води, свіжо-літня, то душ бодрящій. Зручне розташування, але навколо багато ресторанів і барів, які працюють до пізна, дуже до пізна, до години 3ї, і музика так кричить, що відчуття вона в кімнаті грає.

The service was amazing. Staff were so helpful with so many concerns and really went above and beyond. The location is so central and the boutique style of the hotel was lovely. We loved the loft bed.

The only thing that we didn’t love about the property was the nightclub noise which made it difficult to sleep.

La struttura ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. La camera era pulita, spaziosa. I letti erano davvero comodi. La colazione inclusa servita direttamente in camera è stata un vero plus: varia, abbondante. Il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e professionale, sempre pronto ad aiutare. La posizione è centralissima, ideale per muoversi a piedi e raggiungere facilmente tutto ciò che serve. È vero che verso sera si sente un po’ di movimento, ma è assolutamente normale considerando la zona centrale… e alla fine sei in vacanza, va benissimo così! Nel complesso un soggiorno eccellente, che consiglio senza esitazioni. Ci tornerei volentieri!

Lo más que me gustó fue el personal que fue muy amable, el desayuno estaba muy bueno y las camas muy cómodas.

El wifi, no es tan bonito como en las fotos, las plantas estaban mal cuidadas, la entrada es por un callejón que ni pareces que entres en un hotel, las escaleras súper estrechas y empinadas… en general no me gustó no encontrarme exactamente lo que vi en las fotos… en el baño el mueblito estaba roto… no se me esperaba más por el precio por noche

Location was nice and central. Staff was amazing. Nice aesthetic and artistic touches throughout the hotel. Lots of options for included breakfast. Really nice for a small boutique hotel with only 7 rooms.

There is a club a few doors down that played music pretty loud late into the night. Hotel did provide ear plugs (which helped a little).

The location is next to a karaoke bar and other bars, which makes it impossible to sleep until 4 a.m. Breakfast is only available as room service, and the quantity is very small. The room smells strongly of dampness. When it rains, it is impossible to sleep because of the noise on the roof.

The staff was the best thing here. They’re all very friendly and accommodating as much as they could.

The pictures weren’t what was advertised. It was advertised as hypoallergenic when it was not very clean, funny smell. Also, the doors and the windows aren’t safe, they don’t close or open properly.. It was advertised as “sound proof” the walls shake from the pounding bass of the neighbouring clubs, you can hear people yelling until 6am on microphones. It’s so loud. You can’t sleep even with ear plugs.

Big and spacious room, and central location in town so made it easy to get to your agencies and restaurants. The receptionist is helpful and ordered a van to come pick us up at the airport. Breakfast is included too.

Lights weren’t working in the bathroom and toilet on the first day so had to be fixed by an electrician, which was called by the receptionist. The shower pressure is very weak, and there’s no hot water. We had to resort to using the water from the bath tub but even there it was very weak. The room isn’t very sound proof, we could hear people running around upstairs and there were thumping sounds. You can also hear the nearby bars in the evening so not very soundproof. It was also very difficult to locate at first because there’s only one sign for the hotel but not exactly where it is. The restaurant at the front had to help us out. There was also musty smells from the bathroom and toilet because it was outdoors so it would be nice if there was proper ventilation.

Musty and dark rooms. Very humid, Water leaks, water low pressure and sometimes not working due to maintenance. Bathroom lighting dark and faulty. Odour of dampness in the rooms. The private area was not private due to staff coming through, which meant we could not open our blinds as this was the bedroom window. If the rooms have better ventilation and water leaks repaired, with a new mattress as we noticed there to be staining, plus the addition of having natural light, perhaps a sheer curtain or the ability to have the top portion of the window unobstructed for light to pass it would be more comfortable.

We had a disagreement regarding the transfer. Everything was supposed to be arranged, but we ended up waiting for an hour and a half, and we weren’t even given the driver’s contact information. It was very late at night, and we were exhausted and completely lost. In the end, we had to find another way to get a transfer and pay a much higher amount, instead of the 1,400 pesos we were told, we had to pay 8,000 pesos to get there. When we finally arrived, the receptionist had apparently fallen asleep. I wanted to take a shower, but the shower was broken, so I had to wait until the next day to use it. I paid a lot of money, but everything was terrible. They only apologized no compensation, nothing. On top of that, the humidifier was completely full and hadn’t been cleaned, and the duvets and sheets were dirty and had hair on them. The breakfast was also very disappointing. I work as a Front Desk Manager in another country, and honestly, I was shocked by how poor the service was.

The location was easy enough to find. The local drivers know where it is. I arrived a little past midnight, but check-in is available 24 hours, so that was great. The room was very big and spacious, so was the bed, and there were more than enough pillows. There's a small coffee table in the room, a mini ref, as well as a high table with chairs. The "outdoor" shower and tub are amazing. Breakfast was generous, and you can have it to go if you have early activities booked outside and can't eat breakfast in the hotel.

There were mosquitoes on my first night, so the next day I asked them to spray the room. There were no mosquitoes after that, but I did find a dead cockroach, which the staff might not have seen and was, therefore, not removed. The ventilation in the toilet could be improved - with the rain and the hot water from the shower, there was condensation, so there was a bit of musty smell. They can add more storage and drying rack in the room. Wifi was slow, and doesn't work very well in the room.

Loved that the location is in the center of El Nido town. Just a few steps away from the port where the tours are arranged, so it was an advantage since we have seniors with us. It's also near the municipal hall. The rooms were great. very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was also good. I would highly recommend this place and would even opt to stay here if I get the chance to go back to El Nido.

The breakfast was yummy but would be better if served hot. We didn't enjoy the coffee that came with the breakfast because of a certain smell on the mugs that they use for breakfast. But other than that everything was great.

We could store our luggage while we were on the boat tour and we could check in earlier since there was no one in the room before us! That was really nice and convenient for us

Because it’s in the city center and you’re close to all kind of bars and restaurants it’s hard to catch a good night sleep because the music is very loud till 4-5 in the morning. So if you want a good night rest, it’s best to take an accommodation outside the El Nido town

Great location, right in the heart of El Nido. Super welcoming and helpful staff. Bed was very large and comfortable. Breakfast food was good and served right outside your doorstep, and at the time you requested it.

We had no bathtub as shown in the pictures, which was disappointing. The room was very humid, even tho there were 2 dehumidifiers in the room. The bed sheets kept coming off the bed, which was not great. Didn't look like they fitted the bed properly.

Lovely hotel in the centre of El Nido, very nice location. Close by all the restaurants & bars (can be noisy at night) as well as the beach from where island hopping tours start. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was lovely! Hotel offers tours & transportation !

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our stay here. We had decided to book a more expensive “luxurious” hotel to celebrate our anniversary but were very disappointed with our stay at Sanse. Firstly, the rooms are much shabbier than they appear in the pictures and we found lots of bugs in our bed. Considering the high price (£90+ per night) we paid, this was very disappointing. The main issue was that this hotel is next to a club and karaoke bar, and there was extremely loud music playing until 4am every night, making it absolutely impossible to sleep. Breakfast was included but when it arrived it was often cold and on the last morning it arrived 35 minutes late - meaning we nearly missed our bus transfer. We also found the staff quite rude and unfriendly. For example we asked them to help us get a tuktuk to Las Cabanas and they told us they had already helped another guest earlier so they couldn’t help us too and told us to go outside and find one ourselves. Everywhere else we stayed in the Philippines the staff were so friendly and would always help us flag down tuktuks and ensure we were charged a fair price so this was very disappointing from Sanse. Overall, we could not recommend staying here particularly at such a high price - we ended up moving to a different place which was much cheaper and nicer.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Sanse Boutique Hotel. The location was so central and everything was in walking distance. The hotel was very accommodating to all our needs and requests. The room was superb and had everything one could ask for. Amazing attention to detail that gave the hotel so much character and charm. Would highly recommend!

This place is located in the center of the city, so you can easily find something to eat. The room is big.

At first, I thought people were exaggerating about the noise, but after a sleepless night, I can confirm their opinions. You can constantly hear parties that last until around 5 AM. The staff doesn’t help either—they watch TikTok all night, just as loudly as the music from the nearby karaoke bar. Breakfast (Eggs Benedict) looked better on the picture, very fat
