I chose this hotel because I read a review in which a guest said that he received the Ticino card by email (The Ticino Ticket is a free guest card given to anyone staying at least one night in a hotel, youth hostel, campsite, or private accommodation in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland). I requested this card by email because I arrived in the evening and it would have helped me get from Bellinzona. I did not receive the card and in the evening when I arrived at the accommodation I only received the room key without the card. We were tired but it was good that we remembered and requested the card ourselves. We were looked at strangely and we waited quite a long time to receive it. I should mention that the hotel took the money from the card almost a week before we checked in. At breakfast, poor, without vegetables and eggs, the next morning I saw someone with eggs, I asked the waiter if they had any, he said yes and disappeared. He did not offer to bring them.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The set-up of the room was unexpectedly nice, the loby was somehow separated and we had an extra sofa. The set-up of the bathroom (with a big shower and a balcony) was also amazing.
The room was renovated more than 20 years ago and the furniture and floor were very old.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Gute Lage nah am Bahnhof, angenehmes Zimmer, schnelle Reaktionen zB als in meinem Zimmer nach der Reinigung plötzlich die Handtücher fehlten. Preisleistung war gut.
In einigen Ecken nicht ganz sauber, aber da müsste man schon genau hinschauen. Ständiges Dröhnen von draußen durch Lüftungsanlagen.

L'isolation acoustique des fenêtres ne permet pas d'entendre clairement ce qui se passe à l'extérieur ; la prise près du lit ne fonctionnait pas.

Achterstallig onderhoud, kamers toe aan renovatie. Parkeren is erg lastig, hier moet je jezelf vooraf in verdiepen.

On the drawback side, the breakfast is the standard continental style typical for the area, though it's still a bargain and nothing to complain about.

Es war sehr heiss, und ich habe im Zimmer lediglich eine kleine Wasserflasche vorgefunden. Jede zusätzliche Flasche wurde im Restaurant mit CHF 7.50 verrechnet, was für einen Hotelgast – insbesondere bei solchen Temperaturen von 40 °C – absurd und unverständlich ist.
