Sijainti loistava aivan luontopolun lähtöpisteessä.

Lattiapinnat olivat epäsiistit.

Idyllische Lage; schönes, stimmig eingerichtetes - wenn auch nicht allzu großes - Zimmer (Fuchs); sehr gute Betten; alles sehr sauber und gepflegt; kostenloser Parkplatz,direkt an der Lodge; unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out. Wir fühlten uns hier erwartet, willkommen und sehr wohl.

Schade, aber verständlich (wir waren an diesem Tag die einzigen Gäste), dass kein Abendessen angeboten wurde!

Huone oli omintakeinen ja sänky oli tosi hyvä. Kävimme myös rantasaunassa ja nautimme sen tunnelmasta.

Vaikka sauna oli mukava, niin lauteille astuin varovasti kun ne natisivat aika paljon.

Luonnon rauhasta, luontopolusta, sauna-paljusta, joka oli luxusta, sekä extrana hauskasta sub-lauta kokemuksesta. ♥️👌

Sääsket, vaikka ei nekään nyt häirinnyt, kun käytti hyttysmyrkkyä.

Nice staff, very quiet location near some hiking trails. The room was comfy too.

Location is a bit remote if you're coming from the main road. No vegetarian food options as far as I could tell.

Saunasta ja uinnista.Mahtava luontopolku vieressä.Aurinko paistoi koko päivän huvilan terassille.Hirvikäristys tosi hyvää.

Ainoa miinus kun ei ollu televisiota.Hyvin pärjäs 2 päivää ilmankin.

Ihana, rauhallinen paikka. Hyvä uimaranta. Loistava aamupala ja erittäin miellyttävä paikan omistaja.

Huoneessa oli nurkassa pölyä. Huoneessa olisi hyvä olla pieni jääkaappi.

Huone oli kotoisa ja siisti.Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja palvelu ystävällistä

Aika jättänyt. Käärmeitä ja itikoita paljon. Ei koiraystävällinen. Huoneessa ei minkäänlaista tuuletinta tai muuta viilennystä/ilmanvaihtoa.

Palvelun taso ja joustavuus. Ruoka oli myös hyvää ja samoin aamiainen.

Yllätys oli sijainti sekä se että opastus oli ensisijaisesti luontopolulle eikä majoitukseen. Myöskin se että "loppuunmyyty" tarkoitti vain 1 huoneistoa, ja yrittäjä oli paikalla "vain meitä varten".

Mukava ja rauhallinen paikka.

Pihalta pääsi heti Kätkävaaran reitille. Mahtava paikka. Kaikki palvelut toimi. Tulemme varmasti uudestaan.

Questa struttura è a dir poco favolosa, host molto disponibile e gentilissimo. Immersa nella natura è un must per chi cerca tranquillità assoluta. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorantino della struttura, ambiente molto romantico e cucina super! Lo stufato di renna con pure' di patate e la zuppa di salmone erano ottimi. PLUS Se amate le passeggiate nei boschi (non troppo impegnative), attaccata alla struttura c'è la partenza per un sentiero ben segnalato ad anello di circa 3 ore - immersi nelle foreste limitrofe, costeggiando dei laghetti. Super consigliato!

Un lugar apartado y rodeado de paz y naturaleza. Con un anfitrión excelente que nos preparó un plato de reno que no olvidaremos en mucho tiempo.

Per chi come me dorme nel completo buio potrebbe essere un problema la tenda troppo corta che fa passare la luce la mattina

The location was perfect, in the middle of no where, very quiet and beautiful. The breakfast was really good and reasonably priced, the host was so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were really clean and spacious. I highly recommend!

Emplacement idéal pour vivre l’expérience finlandaise pleinement. Très bon contact avec Mikko qui a toujours répondu à nos demandes. Très bon repas et petit déjeuner. Logement dans un cadre incroyable, au milieu des forêts et à proximité direct d’un lac (gelé).

La propreté du logement pourrait être améliorée ainsi que la mise à dispo du minimum nécessaire (ex. papier toilette supplémentaires, torchon pour la vaisselle..)

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questo lodge a Tervola. Il proprietario è stato estremamente gentile e accogliente: un host eccellente che ci ha raccontato molte cose interessanti sul paesaggio e sulla vita nella zona, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più autentica. La cena è stata ottima: la zuppa di salmone era deliziosa e lo stufato di renna davvero saporito. Si vede che è anche un ottimo cuoco! Tervola e questo lodge, immersi nella natura, sono sicuramente più affascinanti e autentici rispetto ai classici appartamenti di Rovaniemi. Se cercate un’esperienza più tranquilla e genuina in Lapponia, vale davvero la pena fermarsi qui invece di andare subito nelle città più turistiche. Grazie Mikko e Onni!

Super gemütliche und liebevolle kleine Blickhütte. Haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Der Host ist sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und ein super Koch! Das bestellte Abendessen war einfach klasse. Auch die extra bestellte Sauna war super. Sehr ruhige Lage am Kätkävaara Nature Trail. Der Trail selbst ist wunderschön. Wir konnten tolle Polarlichter sehen.

Die Hütte war nicht blitzblank sauber. Aber völlig ok. Hat uns nicht gestört.

Notre séjour fut magique. L’emplacement est idéal, à l’écart de toute ville, ce qui nous a permis de voir des aurores boréales dès le premier soir. Le lodge est confortable et cosy. La vue est tout simplement magnifique, avec le lac gelé et enneigé. Le propriétaire est très gentil et aimable. Le sauna et le jacuzzi sont un véritable atout supplémentaire. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine. Tout a été parfait, nous recommandons vivement.

Está en un lugar bonito, apartado de la contaminación lumínica, por lo que es muy probable ver auroras. El anfitrión es una persona agradable!

Hacía bastante frío en la habitación (es verdad que justo fuimos cuando había una ola de frío, pero la calefacción no daba para más y tuvimos que ayudarnos del secador para calentarnos)

El alojamiento estaba muy bien y el dueño fue muy simpático con nosotros.

Una fiaba....un luogo incantevole per vivere la vera Lapponia. Un lodge incastonato sulle rive di un lago ghiacciato. Un silenzio magico. La struttura è confortevole, si consiglia la sauna e di assaporare il silenzio. La colazione essenziale ma buona.

Nulla. La distanza da Rovaniemi in inverno potrebbe essere un problema soprattutto in caso di neve ma lo sforzo merita la visita.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Kätkä Lake Lodge. It’s a cozy, peaceful place right in nature, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The sauna was a real highlight after a day outside, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. Also, special mention to the food: the salmon soup is to die for. We re still talking about it.

Huoneet eivät kovin äänieristetyt. Viimeisenä iltana naapurihuoneeseen tuli riitelevä italialaispariskunta, joka valvotti illan meitä.

Kätkä Lake Lodge is truly a magical place! We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly, the lodge was our favorite stay during our week long trip to Finland. Firstly, Mikko, the owner is a fantastic host. Always there to answer our questions and really appreciated his help/comments regarding road conditions before we got there. Second, if you are looking for a place that provides peace and tranquility, the lodge is it. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trail across the way, it made me so happy! The breakfast options were great as well - lots to choose from. My friend is vegetarian and she enjoyed the spread as well. Kiitos very much Mikko!

Obiekt oferuje spokojną, kameralną atmosferę, bardzo wysoki standard wykończenia oraz doskonałe warunki do wypoczynku w otoczeniu natury, co tworzy wyjątkowe i komfortowe miejsce na pobyt.

Oikein mukava yöpyminen mökissä ja sauna illalla, sopi hyvin patikan päälle.

Lugnt och fridfullt. Trevligt rum, som INTE har TV, vilket vi tycker är väldigt skönt! Gott om P-platser där det även finns möjlighet att ladda el-bil (2×22kW) Bra vandringsmöjligheter alldeles intill.

Tyvärr är Cafe och Restaurang stängd under lågsäsong, vilket inte framgick i Bookings presentation.

Villassa jäin kaipaamaan mikroa/uunia. Huoneessa valmiiksi koirankarvoja, joka toki näin koiran kanssa matkustaessa ei maata kaatavaa.

Gemütliche und urige Unterkunft im Blockhaus! Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die lodge liegt sehr abgeschieden und ruhig, die Gastgeber sind herzlich und freundlich. Obwohl das Café im Sommer geschlossen ist, gibt es für Hotelgäste zum Beispiel leckere, traditionelle Lachssuppe. Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See. Die Sauna mit gleicher Blickrichtung wird mit Holz beheizt und Bedarf daher einer vorherigen Anmeldung. Wir haben sogar ein größeres Zimmer als das gebuchte erhalten, da nicht viel los war. Nur für uns gab es ein sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, das zwar überschaubar war, und aber dennoch nichts gefehlt hat. Insgesamt einer der schönsten Unterkünfte auf unserer Rundreise und eine absolute Empfehlung!

Das Zimmer war teilweise leider etwas staubig, insbesondere in den Ecken.

We stayed for a week in February. It was the most beautiful location, and so peaceful and serene. The cabin overlooked the lake. We enjoyed being away from everything and everyone. The area was stunning and we loved waking up each morning and looking out over the frozen lake. We had 2 nights of aurora borealis and took beautiful pictures from standing on the lake. The cabin was cozy and comfy and warm. It had a small kitchen area, but note there is no oven or microwave, but that didn't bother us. There is a perfectly suitable bathroom with a powerful shower. The owner, Mikko, is a lovely chap who knows the area and is an interesting and intelligent person to chat with. His moose stew is amazing and I would recommend booking a table for this. The breakfast is really nice and filling and his coffee is top notch! We just can't fault this place at all! We would be happy to return in the near future. It was just magical!

Absolutely nothing!

The lodge is beautiful, comfy, private and warm. We loved the location, the kindness of the host and the food served! We really recommend this place if you’re looking for an accommodation in Lapland away from the crowded places. Try the salmon soup ;)

We enjoyed our stay very much. We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. That night was amazing. A place worth of another visit for sure. Sincerely, J & J

Thank you Mikko for having us ! Such a lovely place, lost in the middle of silence and forest ! Perfect to ressource yourself ! Don't hesitate to talk with the owner and ask him to cook local food ! We had moose stew and home made mashed potatoes ! It was just delicious ! The room was clean and big enough for a couple. Well equiped ! Place easy to find with a GPS. Forest all around to walk and Reindeers come to walk on the lake or in the backyard.

It would be nice if there would be a restaurant in the main building to get some snacks.

Everything was good as expected. We took a wrong road and our car got stuck in the snow. The reception was kind enough to send someone to pull us out in 20 mins. The person at the reception is super friendly.

Such a serene place, enjoy the silence and calm! Surrounded by forests, lakes, nature at its best ! Ideal place to relax, hike, watch aurora ! The lodge is warm, cozy, has everything you need. Breakfast is great also! Mikko was a great host, helped us with anything we needed, thank you !

The place it self is magical , and the chalet is super beautiful near to the lake , you can see the aurora lights from there , the sauna was amazing and authentic , and dont miss the dinner , super tasty. Our hosts were super welcoming and helpful , and always there when needed. I will certainly came back in spring.

Amazing place, the nature around house is really nice. So warm and nice place. You can listen only sound of nature around. We used the sauna here it was really relaxed and amazing. Peapole here are very friendly. Good atmosfere here

Beautiful winter destination for a short weekend getaway, in the middle of nature far from cities and crowds. Excellent outdoor activities for hiking Kätkävaara trails. Great Finnish sauna available for rent on the lakeside.

The front side corner room can be slightly noisy if the bar is busy, but the restaurant/bar closes early (00:00) and earplugs will do the trick. No freezer or microwave in the small rooms, which was clear from the get-go but the webpage did not inform about the lodge restaurant services.

I loved everything about this place. It is away from it all, truly a secluded cabin in the woods. Great breakfast, welcoming and accommodating host, good communication. The villa is spacious, clean and warm even with 24 Celsius below zero. Beautiful, serene surroundings. Highly recommended.

Mikko (the owner) and Onni (his lovely dog) were an absolutely great hosts for our stay. Unfortunately, I got very sick during the stay and Mikko even drowe me to the nearest city to get some help. I really apprechiate this act. He is very friendly and attentive, prepares the breakfast for whatever time you wish. :) The lounge area is very cosy, there is a reading corner, warm chimney and beautiful view all around the place. It is a remote location, very silent and just perfect for full relax.

In the middle of the winter, these roads are slippery, you should drive carefully if you are not familiar with the surrondings.

Quote and unique place in the middle of the woods. We got lucky to catch an Aurora and had a short but wonderful walk in the forest. The owner of the lodge is so lovely and welcoming so we felt at home. He took care of us so well and now this place has a special place in our hearts. One day we will come back in the summertime!
