Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Obwohl wir erst nach Schließung der Küche ankamen, wurde für uns noch eine leckere Brotzeit bereitet. Frühstück auch sehr gut. Super Lage in einem einsamen Bergdorf mit spektakulärer Zufahrt auf einer Bergstraße.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Heel vriendelijke verwelkoming van eigenaar Rudi met een toffe humor. We waren nog net op tijd om in het restaurant iets te eten. We namen de typische cordon-bleu. Dit was de allerlekkerste cordon-bleu dat we ooit hebben gegeten. Complimenten aan de chef. Was echt super lekker. 's Avonds was er nog typische accordeonmuziek dat Rudi en zijn vrienden live speelden. Kamer en bedden waren oké. Geweldig uitzicht op een kabbelend beekje dat (voor ons) een heel rustgevend geluid gaf gans de nacht. Zeer lekker ontbijt met alles erop en eraan. Rudi deed alles opdat je zeker niks te kort zou hebben. Perfect om rit te onderbreken naar Italië.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Zařízení pokoje bylo skromnější, ale dostatečné, koupelna velmi dobrá. Z okna krásný výhled. Výborná snídaně formou bufetu, kombinace sladkého a slaného, skvělá servírovaná káva. Restaurace rovněž dobře vaří. Okolní sytě zelené svahy jsou doslova balzámem na duši. Velmi úzká a nepřehledná příjezdová silnice z údolí byla hodně zábavná, zvlášť při setkání s autobusem.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The hotel is in a quite remote village and there is an interesting drive there (pay attention to the indication of the bus schedule, so you don't face an unpleasant situation if crossing the bus on a narrow road). The hotel is basic, but clean and our room gave on a small waterfall, which was quite noisy - but once the window closed, we didn't hear anything, so that was really great. You clearly see it's a family run hotel and Rudi (the owner) and his wife are working hard. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant as well - the food was super good and Rudi was really paying attention to our needs. There were many people in the restaurant - not only guests of the hotel, so we believe the place is know for its qualities. The hotel breakfast was really decent - not an extremely huge choice (which is only logical) - but there was a bit of everything: bread and charcuterie/cheese/sweet things; freshly baked croissants, yoghurts, muesli, coffee/tea/hot chocolate... we didn't miss anything and could start the day with all the energy we needed. We had to leave really early in the morning so we paid our bill in the evening. I noticed later the price didn't correspond to the price indicated on Booking - but that was set up straight by Rudi without any problems and with many apologies (we were not angry, it was a mistake and that can happen). We would definitely go back there if again in the corner, we keep good memories of our stay there.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026L'emplacement est magnifique et tient toutes ses promesses .Les chambres sont vastes , récentes et propres mais avec un équipement "basique" , et une déco "passe partout" . Le patron est à l'écoute des demandes particulières comme la nôtre: quitter l'établissement dès 6 h du matin, munis d'un casse croûte en guise de petit déjeuner à manger en cours de route. MAIS: c'est le seul restaurant du village et là la déception est complète, ce qui motive ma note globale sévère: choix très limité offrant dans tous les cas, un nourriture TRES GRASSE, LOURDE, sans beaucoup de goût et , au final, PLUS CHERE, que d'autres repas beaucoup plus raffinés (je n'ai pas payé plus cher à Florence, sur la place "de la Signoria" pour un plat infiniment plus raffiné!) Donc, un conseil aux futurs visiteurs: prenez votre repas AVANT de monter jusqu'à Urirotstock !

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026De locatie! De locatie is uniek en erg mooi gelegen. Bereikbaar via een smalle bergweg. Ook fijn dat er een restaurant bij is, met goed eten. Ontbijt was niet super uitgebreid maar prima.
De kamers zijn schoon, maar wel heel erg gedateerd. De bedden liggen goed! Maar er is in 40 jr echt niks gedaan aan de kamers. Er is één stopcontact (verlengsnoer) in de hele kamer, maar dat is anno 2026 niet handig. De handdoeken waren rafelig, in verschillende kleuren en één met grote chloorvlekken er in. Geen ramp, maar als je dan spreekt over de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vinden wij dat voor die prijs niet okay. Beetje jammer.

It felt like we were miles in the countryside but had only travelled a short distance from the main road. The staff were friendly. The restaurant in the evening served tasty food (lots of pork items so if you don't like that maybe eat before you arrive as there are no other options once you're in the small village) Spacious room - felt very 70s with all the wood cladding. But it was clean and comfortable, we liked the balcony and you could hear the rushing stream. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
Only one niggle and that was the strange glass block wall in the bathroom - what was on the other side of that!? We just left the wooden bathroom door open covering it for peace of mind.

Das Hotel liegt in einer traumhaft schönen Umgebung in den Schweizer Alpen. Die Landschaft und die Aussicht sind einfach fantastisch - perfekt, um sich zu erholen und die Natur zu genießen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlens wert.

Hotel is ook goed voor meerdaagse verblijven met goede parkeergelegenheid, goed bed,douche,ontbijt en diner mogelijkheid. Al je je zorgen maakt over tegenkomen van de bus kun je er ook achter rijden dan gaat iedereen opzij.

Fantastycznie bylo spać w pokoju z otwartym oknem i słuchać szumu małego wodospadu, który jest za hotelem. Widoki z okna fantastyczne. Pokój czysty i schludny. Jakbym miał przyjechać tam jeszcze raz to zrobił bym to z chęcią.

Prachtige locatie met heerlijk eten en prima kamers en goed ontbijt. Kortom prima hotel voor ons als tussenstop naar Toscane maar had er nog wel een paar nachten kunnen verblijven

Hij kwam net terug van forel vissen en vroeg aan mijn man of hij de dag erna mee wilde gaan, helaas waren we op doorreis naar Italië anders had hij dat zeker gedaan. De omgeving is prachtig!

Mir wurde schriftlich mitgeteilt, dass ein späterer Check nach 22h nicht möglich sei und ich „früher los fahren möge“. Keine Möglichkeit der Umbuchung/ Stornierung angeboten. Wahrscheinlich ein schönes Hotel - aber leider total „Kundenunfreundlich“. Allein deshalb würde ich von einer Buchung abraten.
