Reviewed Apr 6, 2026I needed a one night stay for a transit in Medellin and Finca Hotel Zona Franca was ideal for this. I like the breakfast and having coffee available 24/7. The staff were warm and helpful.
It is hard to find food / restaurants within distance. While delivery was available, it was hard to order in with no espanol. So snacks are available for purchase.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026The staff helped me out in getting safetly to the hotel by recommending a driver. I was so tired from my airport ordeal and Diego Moreno was very kind when he picked me up. The hotel and Mr. Moreno were good at communicating. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. They allowed me to pick a late checkout as I didn't arrive before midnight.
The pillows were hard as rocks. The bed was too, but I didn't mind that as much as the pillows. The shower had to be kept at a trickle in order to get hot water out of it. ( I know this type of shower is common here so I don't know if there is much to do about that.) Because of the tile (again can't be helped I'm sure) there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway when loud guests arrived at 2:30am

I selected a deluxe double room and I was given a tiny room with a single bed. The bathroom was so small that when I sat on the toilet, my knees touched the wall. I’m only 5‘3“ so that gives you an idea of how tiny everything was. The sheets were like paper towels, and then bottom sheet pulled off the mattress when I laid down because the Lastic was so nonexistent. I was told that there was a free shuttle from the airport. I was given a phone number to a driver and when I called him upon arrival, he hung up on me. The hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood that’s hard to find.
