Le personnel est au petit soin et le propriétaire est vraiment aidant, notamment en ce qui concerne faire le change, ce qui est compliqué au sri lanka. Les chambres étaient propres, on avait tout à notre disposition. Possibilité d'avoir de nouvelles serviettes de bain et pour la piscine. La piscine est superbe pour se relaxer. Les services extra comme le spa est aussi à recommander. De mémoire bon débit d'eau chaude

La salle de sport n'est pas entretenue dommage. Vu qu'elle se trouve en extérieur, il y a la poussières accumulé sur les installations et les accessoire, notamment la rouille, quelle dommage

El personal es muy atento y amable y el hotel está situado en un lugar es ideal para desconectar unos días, dispone de una piscina con vistas a un lago que transmite paz y a su vez dispone de gym al aire libre que aún no hace mejor y el desayuno fue muy completo.

The hotel was just amazing, so peaceful and intimate. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were simply wonderful, very thoughtful and incredibly nice. This was the place I enjoyed the most in Sri Lanka !

Geweldig service gericht, al het personeel is supervriendelijk. Uitzicht op zwembad en lagune is prachtig. De eigenaar heeft ons zelfs vanuit een andere locatie nog naar het vliegveld gebracht. Echt top.

Hier en daar wat onderhoud rondom het zwembad zou goed zijn.

Super mooie plek met een heel mooi huisje en mooi zwembad. Iedereen is super vriendelijk.

De locatie is afgelegen van andere dingen. Midden juli konden we lopend maar bij 1 ander restaurant bij een hotel uiteten.

Everything! The property was clean, very nice grounds, pool was very clean with great views and the rooms were spotless, large and lovely clean bathrooms. The staff were very attentive and helped us out with problems many times. They sorted us a scooter and laundry too as well as some snacks for our flight home for free. We really enjoyed our stay!! PS. The dogs are so kind and were definitely a bonus also.

Die Zimmer waren groß und das Bett sehr bequem. Alles war super sauber und das Personal war außergewöhnlich gut und hat uns bei allen Unternehmungen geholfen etwas zu organisieren. Der Pool und die Massagen sind auch super! Das Gym ist ebenfalls top ausgestattet, auch wenn wir zu faul waren es zu benutzen.

Das Restaurant könnte etwas besser sein, was aber nicht schlimm ist, weil es in Hiriketya und Tangalle einige Möglichkeiten gibt.

Simply Peace is een prachtige locatie, lekker rustig maar super mooi aan het meer gelegen. De faciliteiten zijn fantastisch en het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen enkele vraag was ze te veel. In de tuin waren op verschillende momenten apen te spotten dus dat gaf wel een paar mooie momenten.

De rustige sfeer en de groene omgeving zorgden ervoor dat we echt konden ontspannen. De kamers waren verzorgd en comfortabel, en het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op korte afstand liggen diverse mooie stranden en restaurants.

Als ik iets moet noemen: Ik had zowel een standaard als een luxe huisje geboekt, maar er was geen verschil tussen beide. Maar wel een (heel klein) prijsverschil.

We had the best stay! It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and they surprised us with a cake and happy birthday banners at breakfast. The staff were all so accommodating and helped with everything you needed, from taxis to food to cleaning. We even stayed until the end of our trip, we loved it that much! They also have 3 resident dogs who are so cute, as well as many monkeys, peacocks and other things having a roam!! Would 200% recommend.

Everything was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The manager and staff were attentive and friendly. The grounds and pool are stunning, and the gym was an added bonus. It’s in a quiet area a short walk from the stunning Mawella beach. An easy tuktuk ride to Tangalle or Hiriketiya for restaurants. Overall I loved my time here and would definitely come back. Cute dogs and cats too.

Beautiful quiet spot, room is clean and spacious with lovely little space outside with loungers. Pool is perfect. There are lots of gorgeous animals who visit throughout the day - monkeys, birds, monitors, peacocks. The team catered really well for my complicated dietary requirements and made me a few amazing meals. Fruit was so good. Massage was fantastic!

The menu could have more local options on, they did a fantastic job.

Restaurants sind so gut wie keine in der Nähe , man muss mit tuk tuk in den nächsten Ort fahren . Aber das Hotel bietet auch ein Restaurant an 🙂👍🏼

Les attentions du personnel et leur serviabilité ont réellement rendu ce séjour très agréable. L'emplacement éloigné du tumulte d'Hiriketya était apprécié. Un scooter pour faciliter les trajets entre l'établissement n'est pas de refus et l'etablissement peut vous aider à en louer un. Si conduire n'est pas votre tasse de thé ils peuvent vous booker des tuk tuk au besoin. Cadre paisible, bonne nourriture et staff bienveillant. La salle de sport pour faire du renforcement en toute autonomie est très bien équipée ! Vrai plus pour des vacances bien être. Enfin, de bons soins du corps et massages sont proposés sur place.

Nous avons fait notre voyage en mars, au cours d'un contexte géopolitique tendu. Beaucoup d'annulations pour les établissements touristiques. On pensait pouvoir bénéficier des cours de yoga mais la fin de la saison haute et le manque de personnes intéressées n'a pas justifié la mise a disposition d'un professeur de yoga. Dommage.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig an der Lagune gelegen und der Mawella Beach ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die drei lieben Hunde vor Ort. Die Rollervermietung war unkompliziert und flexibel, ebenso der Tuktuk-Service. Unser persönliches Highlight war der Silent Beach – für uns der schönste Strand in der Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Sfeervolle en schone bungalows, gelegen in een super mooie tuin aan een meer. Met heerlijk zwembad erbij, een prima gym, massage mogelijkheden, een restaurant en in de ochtend of avond nieuwsgierige aapjes, pauwen en allerlei vogels. Er zijn een aantal restaurants op loopafstand, en anders kan je vrij simpel met een tuktuk naar Hiriketiya of Tangalle. Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij hier gehad! Als we weer naar Sri Lanka gaan, komen wij terug!

The staff here is fantastic. Such friendly people who make your stay enjoyable. Truly wonderful! The breakfast is also so delicious and extensive. The most peaceful stay, our favourite place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The setting is beautiful, the staff are amazing and go above and beyond for you. Room is cleaned daily. Would also recommend a massage it was great. Overall a perfect stay cannot fault it

Séjour exceptionnel ! Idéal pour se reposer loin de tout et de ralentir le rythme du voyage. La meilleure piscine que j'ai pu expérimenter de ma vie, entre la vue (supplément coucher de soleil) et la température de l'eau. Une faune diverse entre varans, lézards, oiseaux en tous genre et chauves souris à la tombée de la nuit. Le personnel est adorable, serviable et souriant, petit + pour les 3 chiens de l'hôtel amicaux et très attachants !

Большой просторный бунгало. Вежливый персонал, даже чересчур. Сначала тебе непривычно, но потом ты привыкаешь) Океан с безлюдным пляжем в пяти минутах ходьбы. На территории много животных, приятный бассейн и милый спортзал.

Надо иметь ввиду, что за территорией отеля очень много собак, которые недружелюбны и к вечеру начинают активничать. На территории есть павлины, которые как петухи очень рано начинаю кричать, но потом и к этому привыкаешь. В день заезда у нас засорился душ, но проблему тут же решили.

A one-of-a-kind place. The bungalows are spacious and beautifully decorated. A short tuk-tuk ride to most attractions, including the nicest beaches. Food is good and breakfast generous. Staff are very nice. Pool and garden are simply incredible, with a beautiful view over the lake. Few bungalows means it stays quiet.

Love the grounds- the rooms are lovely and the pool at sunset is gorgeous. The gym is great and there’s lots of friendly animals- monkeys, lizards, dogs, cats. It’s very chill and quiet as it suggests. It’s far from any convenience so yo have to get a tuktuk to go anywhere, but it’s very peaceful vibes

The name says it all, this is a peaceful paradise. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms are clean and modern, nice view on pool and lake. The highlight is the well equipped outdoor gym and the pool facing the lake. You can lay by the pool and watch the birds by the lake which feels like being in a national park. A not touristic beach is just a 2 min walk away. Our stay at the hotel was outstanding

Beautiful, comfortable bungalows in a peaceful, tranquil location surrounded by nature. Staff were very attentive and accommodating too, making the stay very pleasurable.

The staff is really nice and the room also beautiful with a Ibiza vibe. The pool was perfect for the heat.

The aircon had a hard time cooling but it was cool enough. Unfortunately this place will be at it best if the kitchen improves. It is fine for breakfast but lunch and dinner better to eat somewhere else. I recommend the hotel to improve the chef and help make the place the best!

Sehr schöne Bungalows in der unmittelbaren Nähe zu Hiriketiya. Das absolut netteste Personal was wir bis jetzt in Sri Lanka erlebt haben. Sehr zuvorkommend. Haben uns Tuk Tuks zum guten Preis organisiert. Gute Frühstücksauswahl.

Kein warmes Wasser während unseres Aufenthaltes beim Duschen - kann man aber verschmerzen weil es generell sehr warm war und weil der Pool super war.

Alles perfekt! Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr sehr fähiger und gut organisierter Manager! Sehr friedlich und ruhig, die mit Abstand schönste und erholsamste Unterkunft in unserem gesamten Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. 10/10

Just as the name suggests. Everything about this place was incredible! Staff is so sweet and the place is just too nice. The cottages are perfect, spacious and have everything you need along with a beautiful lagoon view. The property has a gym and a pool which is amazing especially if you're spending 4 nights or more. The breakfast is great and there are lots of animals and birds for entertainment. Wish we could have stayed much longer! We will come back to Simply Peace everytime we come to Sri Lanka.

Leaving this place was so tough.

Cet établissement est clairement un rêve, un paradis . Le cadre est incroyable, la vue depuis la piscine sur le lac est magique . La chambre est spacieuse très bien agencée , le lit est immense . L'atmosphère global est relaxant et apaisant. Le personnel est aux petits soins et toujours prêts a aider. Je ne voulais jamais partir d'ici.

Like Paradise! We stayed three nights and had the best time, didn’t want to leave! It’s so beautiful, lots of nature to admire, the staff are extremely attentive, food is lovely, pool and views are amazing. Also had a massage which was great. There is a lovely and quiet beach near by, with bars and restaurants. Got a tuk tuk to other beaches which the hotel organised. Can’t recommend enough!

Really nice stay here. Staff really friendly, the location is great, very quiet. There are so many animal to see there, the kids enjoyed it (monkey, squirrel, peacock, birds and turtle).

Très bel établissement, qualité et confort au rendez-vous. Bien situé a quelques centaines de mètres de la plage. Idéal pour une pause bien méritée en cours de séjour.

Très bien situé à quelques minutes de la plage et devant un lagoon. Ambiance très paisible avec piscine vue sur le lagoon. Chambre très grande et propre. Eau filtrée à disposition. Le petit déjeuner était très bon !

Wir waren das zweite Mal dort (zuletzt 2024) und waren wieder begeistert. Tolle Anlage, super sauber, unglaublich hilfsbereites Personal, wirklich jeder auf der Anlage ist hilfsbereit. Die 3 Hotelhunde sind freundlich und happy. Man kann immer etwas Wildlife in der Lagune beobachten. Simply Peace passt wirklich perfekt.

Een hele dikke 10. Een droomplek onder de palmen! Het huisje is modern (Ibizastijl) ingericht en was heerlijk ruim met geweldig groot bed en een veranda/terras. Daar ook 2 eigen ligbedden en een hoekbankje. Het restaurant is de hele dag open en het personeel is super aardig: geen vraag is teveel. Met de taxi of tuk tuk ben je zo in Tangalle of een van de mooie stranden in de buurt. Het zwembad is echter ook heerlijk!

The location at the lagoon and in the middle of the beautiful nature is amazing. The pure and wild Marwella Beach is in just 7 minutes walking distance. The staff showed peak Sri Lankan hospitality and made our stay so comfy and relaxed.

The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The pool was beautiful and the rooms were lovely as well. I also had a great massage during my stay.

Hôtel incroyable, que ce soit au niveau des logements et du personnel ! J’a beaucoup apprécié le manageur qui est venu nous serré la main à l’arrivé, c’est un petit détail qui fait toute la différence et qui montre le standing de l’hôtel. La situation géographique est top vous êtes à côtés des plus belles plages du sud (Tangalle beach à côté du restaurant RedBeach Seafood, Silent Beach, Goyambokka beach) Mention spécial à Cola, Loki et Roxy les 3 chiens de l’hôtel qu’on a adorés Merci à toute l’équipe c’était un séjour parfait!

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt ruhig gelegen an einer Lagune und fussläufig zum Meer. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben auch öfters dort gegessen und können uns über die Qualität des Essens nicht beklagen.

As described simply peace felt like you were immersed in nature, fantastic views with infinity pool over the lagoon where the wildlife entertained you, 3 minute walk to the deserted beach and small harbour. Very friendly staff and locals who were happy to arrange anything you required. Delicious and plentiful food served at breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Friendly well behaved dogs who were super chilled made it feel very homely and welcoming. Superb driver organised from the hotel to transfer us using the owners car to our next destination.

Nothing although an additional sheet on the bed would have made it a little more comfortable.

Tutto perfetto, posto bello, camere grandi e doccia con acqua calda. Bella zona piscina, zona palestra e yoga. Buona colazione. Staff attento e disponibile. Ristorante buono. Il manager è una persona generosa e ci ha aiutati a risolvere un problema: per sbaglio avevo trattenuto le chiavi della precedente Guesthouse a due ore di auto. Il manager le ha riportate indietro personalmente!

The food was only ok.. It was fine for one night however, there are costal towns with great food options are only 10-15 min away by tuk tuk so there’s always an option to dine out.

We loved our stay in Simply Peace and wished we could have stayed longer. It was perfect to get some rest and relax after some intense travel days. The location is beautifull in the middle of nature with lake views, all the staff is extremely friendly, good food and the bungalows are perfect! O and yes there is also a full equipped gym and massage options :)! 10/10 recommend!

A very nice hotel with great service. The breakfast is very good, I especially loved the traditional pan cakes. The view from the pool and the sunset is lovely. Nice gym area, if we could wish for something it would be a treadmill or something else for doing cardio. But it’s great for yoga or weight training. The beach is only a two minute walk away, it is beautiful and quiet, not many tourists what we enjoyed.

Un auténtico paraíso de paz. El hotel es una maravilla y muy cómodo, y el personal muy amable, pendiente de facilitarte cualquier servicio. Sin duda el mejor hotel de Sri Lanka en la zona de playa. Las playas de alrededor son preciosas. El masaje espectacular, 100% recomendable. En el jardín puedes ver bastantes animales haciendo que sea especial. La piscina está genial con vistas al lago.

El desayuno bien pero la comida del restaurante es mejorable.

Bis jetzt unsere Lieblingsunterkunft in Sri Lanka ! Alles sehr sauber, der Service war überragend und das Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Kaffee und Smoothie wirklich sehr lecker! Ein besonderes Highlight sind der Pool & das Outdoor-Gym! Es gibt neben dem Frühstück auch die Möglichkeit mittags und abends hier zu essen - haben wir auch mal ausprobiert und war alles lecker. Die Mitarbeiter stehen einem bei allen Fragen zur Seite.

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Simply Peace verbracht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber. Es sind ausreichend Liegen am Pool vorhanden. Das Hotel macht dem Namen alle Ehre. Wer hier Ruhe sucht, wird sie finden. Die Bungalows sind angenehm groß, sauber, die Betten bequem und das Moskitonetz praktisch. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich hatte auch eine Massage über das Hotel gebucht. In der Anlage gibt es auch 3 sehr süße Hunde, die auch gerne gestreichelt werden möchten. Tipp: Wer mal was anderes als das Essen in Hotel erleben möchte, schaut bei der Foodlebee vorbei. Eine total süße Familie, die sich sehr viel Mühe gibt.

Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Wir haben in 2 Nächten noch bis tief in die Nacht rein Partymusik gehört (kam nicht vom Hotel)

Wat een prachtig resort! Het personeel staat altijd voor je klaar en iedere dag met een grote glimlach. De huisjes zijn goed onderhouden en schoon. Ook het zwembad, fitnessruimte en restaurant zijn prachtig! De locatie is ook ideaal, 15 minuten met de tuktuk naar Hirikitiya. De locatie zelf is wel wat afgelegen, maar er ontbrak niks op het resort. Het was echt thuiskomen na een lekkere stranddag. We hebben echt genoten van de tijd bij Simple Peace. Ik denk wel een van de beste verblijven waar we zijn geweest!

Niks, echt een aanrader als je in de buurt van Tangelle en Hirikitiya wilt verblijven!
