Daisy Cottage Dhangethi

Ein super nettes Personal. Abholung direkt am Hafen, das Gepäck wurde gefahren und musste nicht getragen werden, auch bis hoch ins Zimmer. Frühstück frisch zubereitet als Buffet, auch maledivisches Früstück sowie Toast, Nutella, Marmelade, Saft, Wasser, leider nur Pulverkaffee. Es gab frisches Flaschenwasser im Zimmer so dass wir nie eines kaufen mussten. Nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bikini Beach

Una estancia muy confortable, con habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. El servicio ha sido francamente bueno, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que sea necesario. Nos vinieron a buscar y llevar al puerto para recoger nuestro equipaje y se preocuparon en ofrecer lo que hiciera falta (toallas de playa, cambio de toallas de baño, desayuno para llegar antes de hora). No es un hotel de lujo, ni mucho menos, pero me volvería a alojar allí .

El hecho de que el baño de nuestra habitación fuera parcialmente "descapotable" era curioso, pero facilitaba la entrada de algunos mosquitos.

The house is well looked after, very clean. Owner is lovely and very helpful. We had 2 separate rooms with air conditioning. The Daisy Cottage guest house also supplied two house attendees that helped with any issues we had. Supplying new towels, washing laundry etc. They really looked after us and they did it with a smile.. Any issues were sorted fast.. The location is absolutely stunning. The people are kind and very welcoming. We felt like being surrounded by family. Definitely we'll comeback 😍

Es war im großen und ganzen gut und das Personal war freundlich. Man bekam auch schnorchel Ausstattung und ein Fahrrad gestellt ohne Gebühr.

Tolles Personal. Komme gerne wieder.

Been living in the Maldives for quite a while, pretty much go to a different island every week and this is hands down my favorite hotel here so far. Clean room, helpful staff and good breakfast. They are one of the few hotels that make sure everything goes well right after the booking is confirmed. Came back to the same island again but sadly they were busy. Maybe next time

Velmi milý personál. vsechny naše přání byla hned splněna. Ubytování bylo útulné. Pláže jsou jen pár metru od ubytování. Snídaně byla skvělé,podávané na pláži formou bufetu. Připravili nam i večeři na Štědrý den,vse bylo skvělé. Při příjezdu nas vyzvedli v přístavu a když jsme odjížděli tak nam odvezli zavazadla. Za nas 10 z 10. Děkujeme

We liked the accommodation. The room is smaller, but perfectly adequate. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, nothing was a problem. The accommodation is not directly by the sea – approximately 50 m away. There is a seating area right by the sea where breakfast and dinner are served. It's really very nice. It's approximately 150-200 m to the bikini beach. So really just a short walk. Overall assessment - we would definitely use it again on our next visit. Very reasonable price.

You are in the tropics, so you have to expect mosquitoes.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war Zentral gelegen. Uns wurden leckere Sandwich zum Tauchen mitgegeben. Auf Verlangen haben wir sofort. 2 Bettlaken bekommen . Regenschirm zu Verfügung stand bei 10 Tabe Regen wichtig ;-) Es gab auf Fragen Strandhandtücher

Das Zimmer wurde nun den 10 Tagen nicht gereinigt, keine neuen Handtücher. Den Eimer für das Toilettenpapier habe ich nach 1 Woche selbst rausgebracht. Ausgefegt habe ich auch selbst nach 1 Woche. Hätte mir zum Frühstücksbuffet auch Maledivisches Frühstück zur Auswahl gewünscht.

La localización, ideal y el servicio muy atento, nos ayudaron en todo momento. Tuvimos problemas con el tiempo y se anuló la lancha y nos ayudaron a encontrar la solución.

No hay nada, todo fue ideal.

Asraf was very attentive throughout our stay helping us with anything we needed. Our room had a balcony that was good to sit in when it wasn’t raining! Breakfast was ok - not huge but freshly cooked. It was packaged up when we went out early diving. The garden area was nice.

Some hand soap and spare toilet paper would have been good. We were a bit late for our departure boat as the car wasn’t ready for us to go on time.

Todo, absolutamente todo. El hotel estaba muy bien, la ubicación también y lo mejor sin duda, el trato humano del dueño y de las personas que trabajaban allí.

La ducha no tenia mampara ni cortina.

Shaamyn y Bipul han estado siempre atentos y pendientes de nosotros , la casa es preciosa, muy limpia y acogedora. El desayuno muy completo y variado. Shaamyn nos ha organizado diversas excursiones, que nos han hecho conocer la belleza del entorno y la vida local. Si podeis, os recomiendo venir a esta isla y a esta guesthouse, tanto por el alojamiento, el ambiente y las maravillosas personas que habitan en la isla.

Tot, vam estar molt bé! El recomano 100%, a més a més de fer excurssions amb ells (whale shark, pesca...) Si torno a Dhangethi, repetiré 100%.

Pláž byla kousek od ubytování. Ubytování má krásnou zahradu poskytující stín a příjemné místo k odpočinku. Snídaně byly jednoduché, ale čerstvé a výborné, včetně vynikající místní speciality (kokos s tuňákem). Koupelna pokoje má částečně otevřený strop nad sprchou, což je příjemné. Komunikace s personálem byla velmi milá, vyzvedli nás v přístavu a od první chvíle se snažili, aby náš pobyt byl dokonalý. Pobyt v tomto ubytování byl velmi příjemný a cítili jsme se zde jako doma.

Bohužel balkon u našeho pokoje byl celý den i večer rozpálený tak, že se na něm nedalo být. ( Ale vynahradila nám to krásná stinná zahrada) 🙂

From the moment I arrived I felt safe and secure,I was welcomed with smiles and orientated to my environment. My room was large, with clean+thick linen which was changed during my stay. I really liked the open area outside my room,a comfy couch and books on the side table,also a fridge. Breakfast was simple and delicious,sitting in the downstairs area amongst the plants and coconut tree, a lovely way to start my morning. A short walk to bikini beach and the cafes,I really enjoyed my experience at Daisy Cottage.

The guest house is very nice and clean. The owner of the guest house is helpful.

However, the employee, name MD. Biplop, said that the canoeing was free and still asked for money on departure. Biplop was disrespectful because even though I said I had a fiancé, he kept saying he would give me a free massage. He did not understand that I did not need it. When I was alone in the guest house, he tried to convince me to get a free massage.

Hosts, location, interior, exterior

Aircon was directly blowing at the bed we were sleeping.

Shaamyn had been the most graceful and helpful host ever! He was very helpful, responsive and even organized a night fishing excursion for us on his boat and even help us prepared the fish and grilled it. They do housekeeping for our rooms and change new towels for us every day. Breakfast was simple but delicious and they specifically catered to our schedule for breakfast. We can even eat at the nearby restaurants and charge it to our tab which we paid back to Shaamyn before we left. Shaamyn even offered to exchange to the local currency with very reasonable rates. The venue is very near to the Bikini Beach (within 2-3 minutes walk). The island itself is pretty small and can be covered within 20-30 minutes. The sandy beach is very fine and clean. If you are looking for privacy and less touristy island, then this place is highly recommended.

The bathroom had some weird funky smell but they did provide some moth balls and spray air freshener to lessen the effect even when we didn’t ask.

Location close to bikini beach and restaurants, home cooked dinner at the cottage was delicious, the room and all other areas were clean, breakfast was nice and outside, which we liked a lot. communication with owner was good + many activities to choose from (excursions manta, turtles, whalesharks, fishing etc.), I love the manta. Free snorkel gear + beach towels for our entire stay and very nicely kept garden area around the cottage. dhangheti is a small and beautiful island, friendly locals. We had a great time.

Nothing at all

The yard is beautiful, with lots of green plants and a beautiful big parrot. The room is comfortable, too. We also used their kitchen, which was very convenient. The landlord and his father are very warm and kind. Living here is like living at home. We get along very well. There are also many sea play projects, because the homeowner Shaameen has direct motorboats and speedboats, it is very convenient to go to sea to play. The bikini beach next to it is very beautiful and fun. We go swimming and snorkeling every day, which is very convenient.

The guest owner Shaameen is a sunny and handsome boy, he will provide you with a lot of travel advice, he is very responsible, enthusiastic, has his own sea motor boat and speedboat. Dusk fishing, manta rays, dolphins, nurse sharks and turtles... Make every day on the island full. Their guest is also very beautiful and comfortable, right by the sea, very close to Bikini Beach. A variety of snorkeling gear is also provided free of charge. It was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful place, comfortable and close to the bikini beach. The staff at the guesthouse ( a young guy from Bangladesh ) is a lovely person and will do everything he can to make your stay comfortable and easy.

Extremely friendly and helpful owner, very good food since he is heavily involved in fishing and has a good chef😃

The host and his family were amazing, handing out packed breakfast at 6am before diving. We had a health emergency, and the host was very supportive, he called the ambulance, visited our friend in hospital and even bought the prescription. Rooms were clean and modern, the cottage is quiet and nice.

Staying at Daisy Cottage was very pleasent and would highly recomend it at anytime and to anyone. On our wish they have organized an excelent surprise birthday dinner on the beach for us. They also have a brand new boat for excursions. We took a trip to see mantas and it was unforgetable since we were able to swim with them. We also took a trip to sand bank and Shaamyn took a drone photos and movies of everyone of us - he is a real expert:) They also have the sweetest parrot that is always somewhere around the house.

Location is perfect, near bikini beach. Personal, the father and his son were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation.

There wasn’t a thing we did not like

The staff will do anything to make your stay pleasant. Comfortable and big bed, spacious room and washroom. Everything very clean. They have anything you might need in the island (water stuff) and they provide amazing and affordable activities. Good for any type of travellers (including kids). I definitely recommend it!

Exceptional staff service!! I wish we could have stayed longer! Above and beyond what we were expecting, these guys will do their very best to make sure you have a comfortable stay. They all clearly love the hotel and having guests, and our chef Fareed always put 100% into making our breakfast. He was so lovely! He even helped us do some laundry in the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and Shaamyn was even honest enough to warn us about nearby building works before we booked, but it didnt disturb us at all! Shaamyn organised some amazing excursions and for a reasonable price. Having a small group and boat means you are a lot quicker than other massive boats of tourists, which is a huge advantage! We were lucky enough to see both mantas and a whale shark - my only comment would be if you are running excursions you should always talk about keeping distance from the sharks, not touching etc. so we can keep protecting this amazing wildlife ☺️ Thank you so much for a memorable and special stay, I'm sure we will be back one day in the future! @tothemoonandbackpackers
