The location is great with a car, one of the best sand beaches and one of the best cretan restaurants are close. The young boy at the reception is super friendly and helpful. The pool has a great view and not crowded.

You hear a lot of airport activity, airplanes of all kind but you hear them around many places in Crete.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and always happy to assist us with anything we needed. The hotel’s common areas were also pleasant and welcoming.

One thing we really didn’t enjoy was the military aircraft flying directly overhead every day during training exercises. The noise was very intrusive and, for us, it was a particularly unpleasant part of the experience, especially when trying to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday.

We stay in hotel not in bungalows. Breakfast is very poor. We buy some products from shop for breakfast. View from balcony. Small room and old hotel. Too expensive for this standard even during the summer holidays

The location itself is beautiful, and that is probably the biggest positive thing I can say about this accommodation

The soundproofing is practically non-existent. You can hear absolutely everything, doors being unlocked, people walking in other rooms, conversations, movement around the property. The noise made it very difficult to properly rest, and I honestly feel like I’m leaving more tired than when I arrived. Breakfast was also disappointing. The food did not seem fresh and often felt like the same items were being served again from previous days. Another thing we found quite inconvenient is that coffee is only available during breakfast, starting at 8 AM. There is no possibility of having a coffee earlier in the morning or later during the day. The property has a lot of potential because the location and surroundings are genuinely beautiful, but unfortunately the overall experience did not match that. When you come on holiday, you expect to be able to rest and enjoy your stay, and that simply wasn’t the case for us. I personally would not choose to stay here again.

Good location very good and friendly stuff, especially the ladies they clean, nice view from our suite very good swimming pool, I will highly recommend this place but without breakfast!!

Standard lat 90-tych. Raczej w rozsypce. Niezamykające się drzwi, odpadające klamki, woda z prysznica zalewająca całą łazienkę, kuchnia z zupełnie przypadkowym wyposażeniem. Śniadania to jakiś żart.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to the beach!

Very disappointing experience. The first room had extremely weak air conditioning and no Wi-Fi reception, despite both amenities being advertised. I was moved to another room, but it had a strong chemical odor, old worn furniture, and visible holes in the walls. When I explained that I could not stay, the manager shouted at me, accused me of saying things I never said, threatened to call the tourist police, and refused to help me arrange transportation. I ended up walking in the heat with all my luggage to the nearest supermarket, where kind strangers helped me get a taxi to another hotel. I left the property less than two hours after arriving and never stayed there overnight. Despite this, the hotel refused to refund my payment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property.

The hotel location in Kalathas is very good, provided you have a car. It is approx. 6 min walking to the sandy beach Kalatha Beach with wonderful water and set of 2 chairs and umbrella for EUR 20/day. Very nice openair pool in the hotel with sea water. The room service ladies were very friendly and always smiling. We had a very nice sea view from our "round-tower" suite with amazing sunsets every evening. This was the best!

If you like very close contact with the nature this suite is for you, but you must be prepared for ants, mosquitos and huge cockroaches. This was the only negative experience and probably valid for ground level location.

The view from the terrasses are incredible. The rooms re clean and the service staff are really nice. The hotel is easy to reach - 15 minutes from the airport in Chania. Absolutely value for money.

Nothing really that would spoil the experience

Nous sommes partis en famille et nous avons passé 10 jours merveilleux. Le personnel est adorable, accueillant et toujours prêt à rendre service. Les dames du ménage sont d’une grande gentillesse et font un travail impeccable. La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours, les serviettes étaient remplacées quotidiennement, les salles de bain étaient toujours parfaitement propres et les draps étaient changés régulièrement. La chambre était très bien équipée, que ce soit au niveau de la cuisine, du salon ou des salles de bain. Nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le personnel était toujours disponible lorsque nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Par exemple, lorsque nous avions besoin de serviettes de plage ou d’un parasol, ils nous en prêtaient avec le sourire et faisaient toujours leur maximum pour nous aider. Nous nous sommes également sentis en parfaite sécurité tout au long de notre séjour. L’hôtel est calme, bien entretenu et très rassurant. Côté plage, il y en a une à seulement 5 minutes de l’hôtel. L’eau est cristalline, d’une propreté incroyable. Il y a également un restaurant au bord de la mer qui s’appelle Skalakia. Nous y avons très bien mangé et la vue sur la mer est magnifique. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésiter et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil et sa gentillesse !

Do un suggerimento: ogni italiano si sveglia con la necessità di un espresso" vero" , corto o doppio! Potrebbe andare bene anche un caffè con la moca... purché non sia il beverone all'inglese! Anche qualche brioches fresca non sarebbe stata sgradita😅! Ps. La cioccolata spalmabile non può essere una qualunque, deve essere Nutella!

Mieliśmy bardzo wygodny duży apartament/domek rodzinny (około 90m2) - był idealny dla naszej 5 osobowej rodziny, miał przepiękny widok na morze i zachody słońca.

Obiekt dawno nie remontowany, do basenu nie odważyłam się wejść- wydawał się brudny. Śniadań nie polecam, stoliki wśród kotów i biegającego psa, nie miałam ochoty tam jeść, jeśli przyjdziesz za późno nie będzie też za wiele do zjedzenia- ale to normalne przy mniejszych obiektach. Mam wrażenie, że w obiekcie jest jeszcze podejście sprzed lat, bardziej nastawione na zysk niż na zadowolenie klienta. Minusem niestety było położenie- droga piechotą na plażę jest bardzo bardzo niebezpieczna - wśród samochodów bez pobocza.

Nous avons apprécié la piscine tôt le matin, très peu de monde jusqu'à 11h. Le cachet de l'établissement et le soin apporté aux espaces verts.

L'emplacement au bord de la route et son accès supérieur dans un virage. Des lits jumeaux nous ont été imposés. La chambre au rez-de-chaussée côté rue est très bruyante. Les avions passent régulièrement au-dessus de l'établissement ainsi que des avions de chasse (il y a une base de l'OTAN à proximité). D'autres hébergements dans l'établissement sont certainement plus agréables.

I went to Creta Vitalis to rest for a couple of days after being in Chania. It was much better than I expected! When I arrived, I was given a much nicer and bigger room than I previously reserved, without extra charge. I had a nice small beach at 10 minutes walking distance, as well as a restaurant. Creta Vitalis also has a nice swimming pool and beautifull views. I recommend you to stay there!

Hotel com instalações boas, quarto amplo e confortável. Cama muito boa. É necessário estar de carro alugado porque está um pouco afastado do centro de Chania. Local ideal para se deslocar para as praias próximas. Café da manhã excelente servido com muito carinho pela Katherine.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est trés bien, le jardin est trés joli, la vue sur la mer et la piscine. Nous avons aussi eu une chambre vue mer alors que j'avais choisi "vue jardin" donc c'était une belle surprise !

le petit dejeuner qui est principalement salé, donc pas beaucoup d'option si comme moi vous n'aimait pas le salé le matin. (il était inclu dans ma réservation, mais hors réservation je trouve que c'était un peu cher)

Location was amazing, little shop just 5 minutes up the road and the beach 8 minutes in the other direction. A small taverna just by the beach, perfect for viewing the sunset. Staff were really welcoming and the rooms were kept clean every day. The perfect getaway if you don’t mind abit of plane spotting!

We have not long got back from a great stay at Creta Vitalis. The room was very comfortable with AC, clean towels and room change everyday, a nice balcony to sit on. Bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was was lovely with a variety of food to eat, my friend and I enjoyed the cake, bread, cheese pie, and watemelon. Especially the coffee - thank you Vangelis. The pool area is fantastic and it is a great size, always clean and refreshing. A big thanks to Nikos & nini Nikos at the pool bar for making our trip so memorable with their funny, friendly service. One day we will be back to drink all your Mythos again! Efharisto poli to all the team at Creta Vitalis, we are definitely missing you.

Nothing about the hotel - just rent a car if you are confident to drive around the area as it is about 20 minutes from Chania centre. We figured out the bus service but this is quite a walk from the hotel so be prepared if you are going to do this. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance so keep some euros for taxis.

The so called superior room is on a main road and the property is directly under the airport flight path, noisy from both constantly. We were abruptly moved from our room at midnight on our 1st night by the very irate owner who claimed we were put in the wrong room! And put in another very small double.Not our fault. Weren’t offered another room We left the property and found a great place elsewhere

Lisez bien mon commentaire avant de réserver. Par où commencer? Établissement très bruyant, situé à côté d’une route passante et situé également dans le couloir aérien de l’aéroport de la canée. De plus des avions de chasse de l’OTAN passent dans le ciel tout les jours matin et soir !! S’ajoute à cela les chambres qui sont très mal insonorisé vous n’entendrez que vos voisins, le personnel à la réception et les portes qui claquent. Concernant l’intérieur de l’hôtel nous avons eu une chambre avec de grosses fissures sur les murs, les équipements sont vieux , rien n’a était rénové. Un monte escalier stana vous attend en face de la réception… Le prix n’est pas du tout justifié. Je ne comprend pas les notes de cet établissement , ne réservez jamais ici à moins que ce soit pour 1 ou 2 nuits gros maximum. Vous ne pourrez pas vous reposer. Très très déçu nous sommes restés 5 nuits sans compensation de la part de l’hôtel. Une honte.

המארחים סטלה ובעלה היו מקסימים ועם נכונות וסבלנות לעזור בכל עניין. המתחם פשוט ונקי. המיטות היו נוחות. המיקום ממש ליד חוף ים ובקרבת חופים יפים אחרים ובקרבה יחסית לחאניה. יש אוטבוס קרוב שלוקח לעיר. הבריכה היתה נקייה ונחמדה בסך הכל

לא היתה הרבה פרטיות בין החדרים, שומעים כל רעש וזה יוצר אי נוחות בין האורחים. המיקום אמנם קרוב לחופים יפים אבל מקום האירוח ממוקם בתוך שכונה שאין הרבה מה לעשות בה. המקום נראה הרבה יותר יפה ואטרקטיבי בתמונות, במציאות פחות. לא כל כך מותאם לילדים צעירים. אולי רק לחדרים הפרטיים שלהם זה מתאים.

Beach is 5-7 min walk; hotel is very close to the airport, lovely breakfast with very nice staff at the breakfast. I changed the room - first was not very good, soup on ground, broken glass in the bathroom, not the view promissed but the second room I was placed couple days later was really great - amazing sea view, better maintained bathroom. Very cute. The gardener is amazing, so beautiful. Nice pool with nice view.

The first room I was placed was not well maintained; pool bar was closed and I was informed only shortly before arrival. Reception is noisy in early mornings and evenings. Not the best hotel for light sleepers due to reception, airport, bad isolation between rooms.

Creta Vitalis on kodikas ja vieraanvarainen hotelli. Tilat olivat erittäin siistit ja siellä oli kaikki tarpeellinen saatavissa. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja tuore. Se oli aivan ihana nauttia oliivipuiden katveessa terassilla. Uima-allas alue oli viihtyisä ja allas riittävän kokoinen, jotta siinä oli mukavaa uida.

Kylän keskus on hieman kaukana hotellista. Etenkään kovin kuumalla säällä tai pimeässä sinne ei ole mukava kävellä. Muutoinkaan kävely tien vieressä ei houkuttele. Tie on melko vilkasliikenteinen. On myös hyvä varautua päivittäisiin hävittäjien harjoituslentoihin hotellin yli. Melu on silloin todella kova.

Nothing. We had an extremely unpleasant and dangerous experience at this hotel. Instead of being protected as guests, we were harassed and verbally abused by a taxi driver with whom the hotel staff seemed to have a close relationship. The hotel gave our room number to this individual, without our consent, and he began to persistently search for us and ask for money in a threatening manner. Worse, the reception staff advised us to give him money "for our own good" so that nothing would happen to us. It was a moment of real fear, in which we felt completely abandoned and vulnerable. This is a serious violation of the confidentiality and safety that any hotel should guarantee to its customers. This complicity between the hotel and an aggressive individual raises serious questions about the integrity and professionalism of this accommodation. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Instead of feeling safe, you risk becoming victims of abuse facilitated by the very people who are supposed to protect you.

Am avut parte de o experiență extrem de neplăcută și periculoasă la acest hotel. În loc să fim protejați ca oaspeți, am fost hărțuiți și abuzați verbal de un taximetrist cu care personalul hotelului părea să aibă o relație apropiată. Hotelul a oferit numărul camerei noastre acestui individ, fără consimțământul nostru, iar acesta a început să ne caute insistent și să ne ceară bani într-un mod amenințător. Mai grav, personalul de la recepție ne-a sfătuit să-i dăm bani „pentru binele nostru”, ca să nu ni se întâmple nimic. A fost un moment de teamă reală, în care ne-am simțit complet abandonați și vulnerabili. Este o gravă încălcare a confidențialității și siguranței pe care orice hotel ar trebui să o garanteze clienților săi. Această complicitate între hotel și un individ agresiv ne pune semne serioase de întrebare legate de integritatea și profesionalismul acestei unități de cazare. Nu recomand acest hotel nimănui. În loc să vă simțiți în siguranță, riscați să deveniți victimele unui abuz facilitat chiar de cei care ar trebui să vă protejeze.

I would provide guests with ear plugs or I would better isolate the room at the ground floor otherwise from 7am you hear people going to the buffet or checking out.

L’accueil très sympathique et la disponibilité du personnel . Cadre idyllique , les petits studios très fonctionnels , nous avons tout apprécié de cet hôtel . Nous avons manger au boureki restaurant tout près de l’hôtel un délice , attention aux portions très très généreuses , mais c’était délicieux .

The location is very convenient, close the the airport, to Chania and to the main road you take to travel between the island's main cities: Rethymno, Chania, Heraklion. The public ammenities are very nice, especially the pool. They also have a big parking lot. Rooms were clean and had everything you'd need. The staff was super friendly, especially Vagelis (sorry if I botched your name).

These really are minor things and I think some of them can't even be actioned on: - The rooms aren't too isolated so if you have noisy neighbours you'll probably hear them. Chances are that the other tourists are civilised and you'll be able to rest. Bring a pair of ear plugs just in case - The breakfast could be a bit more diversified but as far as I was able to tell there's only one person in charge of preparing it so not sure how much can be done in this case. Their option was good enough nonetheless - The double bed was a bit small for us, but maybe we're just used to the one at home which is bigger. We slept good anyway.

L'hôtel est très joli, ainsi que la piscine. Le matelas est super confortable. L'emplacement est idéal , proche de l'aéroport et de certaines excursions. Le plus, c'est la gentillesse du personnel , prêt à rendre service pour tout. ( trouver un médecin pour ma fille malade, vérifier un itinéraire) Je le recommande .

The hotel itself was lovely—beautiful swimming pool, good breakfast, and nice surroundings—except for the noise from the road right in front of our room.

Unfortunately, a “garden view” meant being just 2 meters from a very busy road. It was noisy almost all day. I booked this room, tempted by the beautiful photos of a small balcony surrounded by plants and flowers, but we never sat there. In fact, we spent two days with the windows closed and the blinds down (noise, dust, lack of privacy...).

Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat einen schönen Pool mit Ausblick, die ganze Anlage ist supersüß und gepflegt und unser kleines gemütliches Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir benötigten!

La piscina me encantó, era muy amplia y además tenía flotadores para relajarse y disfrutar del sol. El personal fue súper amable y siempre estuvo atento a todo. El desayuno, aunque no tenía mucha variedad, estaba delicioso y de muy buena calidad. También cuentan con aire acondicionado y servicio de bar en la piscina, lo que hace la estancia aún más agradable. En general, fueron muy simpáticos y la experiencia fue genial.

Lo menos positivo fue que, al pedir vistas al jardín, en realidad la habitación daba al pasillo por donde pasa todo el mundo hacia recepción, lo que hacía que hubiera muy poca privacidad y tuviéramos que mantener la cortina cerrada todo el tiempo. El desagüe de la ducha no funcionaba bien y, al tener solo una mampara, el baño se inundaba con cada ducha sin que hubiera nada para secar el suelo, por lo que tocaba esperar a que se secara solo. La insonorización de la habitación era prácticamente inexistente: se escuchaba claramente a la gente en recepción hasta pasada la medianoche, lo que resultaba molesto. Por último, el zumo de naranja del desayuno no estaba nada bueno, parecía agua mezclada con polvos, aunque el resto del desayuno estaba bien, sencillo pero correcto.

Super liebe Mitarbeiter:innen, gutes Frühstück, 5 Minuten zu Fuß an den Strand. Hotel hat Matten und Sonnenschirme zum ausleihen. Ausserdem war das Internet sehr stabil, konnte von dort arbeiten.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και το προσωπικό ευγενικό.

Η πισίνα ήταν μέσα στα έντομα και γενικότερα καθόλου καθαρή δεν μπορέσαμε να μπούμε καθόλου ούτε εμείς ούτε και το παιδί μας. Η ντουλάπα του δωματίου ήταν παλιά και μύριζε υγρασία και επίσης το μπάνιο χωρίς παράθυρο και ο εξαερισμός δεν δούλευε...

La piscine était agréable, nous avons toujours eu des transats à disposition. Le petit déjeuner était très bien et les lits également.

Le bruit dans les couloirs et à l'accueil très tot le matin et tard le soir. Nous avions une chambre au RDC, au fond. Tout résonne, il faudrait que le personnel (du matin dans notre cas) parle moins fort et demande également aux clients de faire un minimum attention. Ca nous a réveillé dès 5h la première nuit. La douche n'était pas en très bon état. Les clients autour de la piscine en haut parleur ou au téléphone et qui parlent très fort...Un rappel de la part du personnel pourrait être le bienvenu.

Super acceuil par Mary, très jolie hôtel, chambre assez petite mais moderne et joliment décorer. Lit très confortables. Piscine avec vue sur mer, très belle terrasse. Bar, restaurant disponible dans la résidence. Table de ping pong et panier de basket. Personnels très serviable et souriant. Entretien du logement et propreté au top.
