Lieu au calme, les chambre sont magnifiques (très grandes), la piscine privée très agréable et les gens qui nous ont accueilli étaient adorable ! Le petit déjeuner et bien copieux et au choix nous nous sommes régalés :)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and all the facilities were excellent. The specially staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay...big thanks to them with love🥰 The location was convenient and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I especially appreciated the excellent service and attention to detail. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would happily recommend this hotel to others. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Das Personal war überfreundlich zuvorkommend und hat versucht, jedes Problem zu lösen. Nur konnte nicht jedes Problem gelöst werden.

Das schlimmste für mich war der beißende Geruch aus dem Badezimmer. Es kam vom Abfluss her. Das Personal hat versucht das Problem zu lösen. Diese haben Geruchs hinein getan, aber es konnte das Problem auch nicht lösen. Man hat während des Aufenthaltes im Bad in der Dusche draußen teilweise auch beim schlafen. Diesen beißt in Geruch gehabt. Frühstück war kalt.

Personnel agréable et emplacement pratique, dans un cadre plutôt joli.

Malheureusement, beaucoup trop de problèmes pour un séjour de 6 nuits. Nous avons dû changer de chambre après avoir passé une soirée entière sans eau. Dans la seconde chambre : invasion de fourmis, y compris dans notre nourriture pourtant fermée, piqûres, champignons/moisissures sur le transat de la piscine privée, transat cassé, présence d’une limace dans la chambre et douche avec un débit d’eau très irrégulier. Nous avons malgré tout essayé de rester, mais avons finalement dû partir après 4 nuits au lieu de 6. Le gérant refuse ensuite de rembourser intégralement les 2 nuits non consommées et propose seulement une nuit et le petit-déjeuner, alors que celui-ci était déjà inclus dans notre réservation. Une situation très décevante et un manque de considération pour les clients.

Viele Ecken im Hotel sind baufällig. Auch um den Pool ist es sehr gefährlich mit dem Gitter, welches an manchen Stellen gebrochen ist.

The staff was really friendly, we had the pool to ourselves and the location is good.

There were cockroaches in our room, there aren’t any sunbeds at the pool and the room without private pool is next to the parking lot - not within the actual hotel area.

Premier établissement décevant depuis le début de notre séjour. Les piscines individuelles ne font pas tout! Au contraire, elles commencent à dater…Accueil mitigé, structure de l’établissement vieillissante, propreté laissant à désirer, forte odeur d’urine dans les toilettes (odeur qui s’est répandue dans la chambre), et pdj non compris dans le prix de la chambre contrairement aux 3/4 des hôtels du pays. Certes l’emplacement est bien mais cela ne fait pas tout…

- Vitres non nettoyées, - nombreuses taches sur les oreillers et sur le sol de la chambre, - cheveux retrouvés sur les draps, - absence de 2 lots de serviettes pour la piscine et la salle de bain, - chaise longue vétuste…

Il bagno era scarsamente illuminato e ogni volta che facevamo la doccia, l'acqua perdeva e allagava tutto il pavimento. Inoltre, lo scarico della doccia non funzionava bene.

Logement propre et plutôt bien équipé. Personnel sympa et bon emplacement. Petite précision, la chambre la moins chère est située dans la cour, devant voiture, scooter etc.. nous avons été surpris en arrivant.

Es war super schön einen eigenen Pool zu haben, was unsere Kinder sehr genossen haben. Das Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und bei Problemen sofort zu unterstützen. Wir waren im Juli dort. Hatten super Wetter, aber leider ist der Strand nicht zum Baden geeignet. Aber das sollte einem im Juli bewusst sein, das man nicht überall baden kann.

Wahrscheinlich ist der Pool ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, die Umrandung müsste dringend verbessert werden.

Ebenerdige Zimmer durch eine Wand eingefasst keine Aussicht, Zimmer Service mangelhaft. Die Unterkunft ist in die Tage gekommen würde Erfrischung gut tun.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Pool, welches riesig war und eine tolle Ausstattung hatte. Das Hotel ist in zweiter Reihe und der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen

Das Personal war bemüht und freundlich, leider war ein Frühstück erst ab 08:30 möglich. Wir hatten am Vortag gesagt wir würden gerne um 8 frühstücken, das war nicht möglich, obwohl die Zeiten ab 07:30 angegeben sind. Zudem wurde beim Servieren der Kaffee vergessen und wir hatten keine Möglichkeit dies beim Personal zu melden

I had a leak down through from the rain, but the staff were great in getting it sorted as soon as I informed them. I did get woken up every morning by the bike being banged against the glass windows.

What started as a pleasant stay turned into a very disturbing experience. We had booked three nights, but on the second day, while we were inside our room, two members of the staff suddenly entered the area of our private pool. They had tried to call me a few minutes earlier, but I was unable to answer. Instead of knocking on the door, sending a message, or waiting for us to respond, they entered through a secondary door that appeared to be closed. We had absolutely no warning that anyone was coming. We were inside our accommodation, using what we understood to be our private space, and suddenly found staff members there. We felt our privacy had been seriously violated. Whatever the reason for their visit, there is no acceptable excuse for entering a guest’s private area without properly notifying them first. A private pool and private accommodation should actually be private. The incident was so serious and uncomfortable for us that we decided to leave the property immediately, despite having one night remaining on our reservation. When we explained what had happened to the person in charge, they initially asked whether they could arrange a partial refund. However, the manager ultimately decided that we would receive no refund and no compensation at all, despite the fact that we were leaving because of a serious privacy issue caused by the property’s staff. This response was extremely disappointing. Not only was our privacy not respected, but afterwards we did not feel that management took the situation seriously or showed any understanding of why we no longer felt comfortable staying there. We strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking this property. If you are paying for private accommodation, you should be able to expect that staff will respect your privacy and will never enter your private area without clearly informing you first.

Friendly staff and a beautiful room. We loved our private pool. 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and another 5 minutes to town.

The property is very nice, the pool was big which was a lovely touch. Bed comfy and room was clean.

Not a dislike but note the property is next to a river, so there is a lot of mosquitoes!

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Die Unterkunft ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und könnte deutlich mehr gepflegt werden. Das Wasser im Pool lud nicht wirklich zum schwimmen ein. Generell könnte die Anlage aufgewertet werden. Die Zimmertür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen und es befanden sich dreckige Handtücher im Zimmer. Wir sind sofort wieder ausgecheckt, weil wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt haben (das Stornieren vor Ort war problemlos möglich - nochmal Danke dafür!).

There is a small hill to get to the house but anyone should be able to climb it unless really physically inept, ive seen reviews complaining but if you want a mountain view you have to be on a small incline.

Zeker genoten van het zwembad aan de kamer, echt luxe. De rest van de kamer was ook zeker ok. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Tangalle zelf viel wel tegen. Niet echt de moeite om extra te stoppen. Persoonlijk vond ik het ontbijt en het eten niet echt superlekker.

Die Bilder auf Booking stimmen leider nicht mit der Wirklichkeit überein. Das Hotel ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Kaputte Fliesen am Pool sowie Möbel und schränke. Hier könnte mehr gemacht werden damit es wieder ein Highlight wird. Frühstück wird nicht in der Unterkunft zubereitet sondern angeliefert- Essen kalt :/

Ligging dicht tegen de zee. Wat verstopt in kleine straatjes. Privé zwembad is een heel fijne troef. We hadden een kamer onderaan met een douche in openlucht, heel fijn!

Personeel was wat onhandig en Engels verliep moeizaam. Ontbijt en diner was inbegrepen maar niks wordt ter plaatse bereid. Wordt geleverd met een scooter en dan op borden gelegd. Werkt heel vertragend en eten is koud.

A képek nagyon nem a valóságot tükrözik, szép DE azért az ember ne 1/1 azt várja majd amit lát a képeken.

The private pool, location and parking is convenient.

This was our first stay in the south of Sri Lanka after two weeks of traveling, and unfortunately it was our first/last disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were extremely poor. There was no assistance with luggage up the stairs, no welcome drink, and despite a 2pm check-in time, the pool was still not cleaned after we arrived. The biggest issue was the bathroom. The shower drain was blocked and flooded the entire bathroom with a very bad odour. We reported it immediately, but after a 30mins wait, staff attempted a quick fix that didn't work. The problem continued throughout our stay, with repeated delays in assistance and multiple staff members entering the room, leaving us with little privacy to shower, change, or relax. We requested a room change, but were told no other rooms were available. By the end, we felt the accommodation was not fit for the purpose it was booked for. We requested a refund so we could find alternative accommodation, but this was refused. If you're simply looking for a place to sleep, there are likely better options available with good service.

Premium property with private pool in the room was the best attraction.

We were just given 2 water bottles a day and they were 500ml bottles which is very less considering the weather. They wanted to charge more per extra water bottle. Being a premium 4 star property, the food was disappointing. The fruits we received along were colourless and tasteless. Not expected from a premium property like this. The staff seemed overworked because u can see the same faces in the morning as well as night but they’re still there to greet u with a smile always. The receptionist was still helpful as I asked him to just fill my personal water bottle rather than giving me new bottles and charging me for that.

Ik ben heel goed geholpen door dit hotel, Het is een goede locatie dicht bij het station. Een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

Wir mussten trotzdem angegebener Check-in Zeit weitere 2 Stunden warten bis das Zimmer fertig war. Zudem war der Pool nicht zu 100% sauber.

La piscine avait de la javel qui nous irriter la peau, le déjeuner en retard manque d'organisation, coupure de courant au millieu de la nuit . Et des notre arrivée on nous à interrompu pour nous dire il faut que l'on regarde la piscine .

de accomodatie zit direct in de stad zonder dat je het door hebt. Prachtige kamers die ook erg schoon zijn. Het zwembad is heel erg fijn om aan de kamer te hebben.

The location was close to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The private pool was also a nice extra.

The pictures are a bit deceiving since it looks like hotel is somewhere higher up but it is not. Also the room was not cleaned properly, there were quite a lot of insects, dust and stains. The aircondition was not very effective and the room gets very hot. The breakfast was also quite poor.

Die Lage ist super, das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück fabelhaft. Der private Pool wird täglich gereinigt und ist auch definitiv ein Highlight dieser Anlage.

Man merkt der kompletten Anlage an, dass sie mittlerweile durchaus ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Neue Fenster (die auch schließen) oder Türen ohne einen 2cm Spalt zum Boden (Hallo Kakerlaken und alles was sonst so kriecht), wären ganz nett aber grundsätzlich lässt es sich hier durchaus für ein paar Tage sehr gut aushalten.

When we arrived at the property, the staff informed us that they had tried to contact us the same morning and that they had cancelled our reservation and the room was no longer available.

I really loved everything here! Perfect room with a comfortable bed and spacious own swimming pool. Location is also perfect, right next to city center and the beach, on a peaceful little alley. Wenuka, the hotel manager, was really nice and helpful with everything - the best customer service I’ve had in Sri Lanka! 🥰

De accommodatie was echt prachtig en stijlvol ingericht. Alles zag er heel verzorgd en luxe uit, en de sfeer was erg ontspannen. De kamers waren comfortabel en mooi afgewerkt, wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte.

Bijna alles was top in orde. Alleen de voordeur sloot niet heel lekker af waardoor we het verblijf niet heel goed konden afsluiten.

We booked two rooms and asked for the rooms to be near each other. Initial communication with the property was responsive and professional. When we arrived at the premises, we paid for the rooms and got issued keys. One room was upstairs and one was outside the complex in a local street. Neither of the rooms was as portrayed in the photos, had adequate locks on the doors and we generally did not feel safe at this location. So we indicated to the property that we were not going to stay and wanted to cancel our booking (noting that we were happy to pay for one night's accommodation on each room so they were not out of pocket. They would not refund our payment at that time. After that, the property ignored all communication from myself (Whatsapp, emails, via Booking.com). I had to escalate a request for the refund of the remaining cost directly with booking.com. The property continued to ignore booking.com making it difficult to get this resolved. I received my refund 3 months after our planned stay.
