super clean spacious room. very clean, minibar present wine beer and a bag of deliciou crisps. enough power plugs to accomodate devices you bring along. 2 1-seaters huge, and a big TV , good Wifi.

La maison est très confortable et très cosy .le décor est de très bon goût et donne une très bonne idée des decors hollandais .la chambre est spacieuse et rien ne manque pour le plaisir des hôtes. Il est conseillé de partir au bord de la mer pour observer le soleil couchant. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une anglaise et ce qui est proposé est très bien.

Wir waren mehr als positiv überrascht. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal wahr sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war perfelt. Die Zimmer sehr gemütlich und sauber. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Schon viele Hotels erreicht, dieses war aber Spitze - mehr geht nicht. Das volle Verwöhnprogramm. Ein Ort an dem man gerne wiederkommt. Das Frühstück perfekt zubereitet und in einem wundervollen Ambiente genossen. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, wer britischen Stil mag, fühlt sich direkt zuhause. Beim Blick in den Garten - wie ein britischer Landurlaub.

Da gibt es nichts anzumerken!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, großes, sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück mit sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Parkplatz vor der Tür !

What a delightful place. A beautiful traditional Dutch building in a quiet suburb of Den Helder. Beautifully decorated with large well appointed rooms. We are cycle touring and our bikes were looked after too. Delicious breakfast and a lovely host. Thank you so much for our stay. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

For me personally the bed was a little to soft, I always hope to get local food but this is a detail as the breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was fantastic. Super comfy bed. Cleanliness was of the highest standard. Owner made us feel very welcome.

The style and personal touch. Everything is thought of till the last detail. Comfortable bed, good shower, bathrobe and toiletries. This is our third stay at this place and we love it every time. Very constant high quality of service. We also like the breakfast very much, it’s a very special experience. Thank you for this beautiful stay at your place.

Excellent location, just a short walk from the dunes and beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of work. The breakfast was fabulous, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day off right. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting!

Very large clean comfortable room with coffee and tea making facilities. Great breakfast with a large variety of good. Cycle parking and the opportunity to leave luggage before check in. Staff were helpful and discreet.

My partner and I arrived in the afternoon, and check in was smooth and fast. We were so pleasantly surprised at the size of our room and the decor. So many details in the interior were attended to. There is a mini fridge in the room. Also very nice tea and coffee that we can make in the room. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, and a balcony. The bathroom floor was cold to walk on, but small point for me, as we were so happy with the luxe feeling of everything else. Friendly owner who served us very nice breakfast, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, eggs, delicious assortment of breads, fruit salad. It is walking distance to the dunes, bike paths, and the sea. Although we did not sit in the garden in the back, it was also very beautiful. I would be happy to return to this family-owned B n B, or to recommend it to others! Thank you!

I did not like that our double bed was 2 single beds together, so there was a crack between my partner and I when sleeping. But the bed was comfortable. I noticed the cold bathroom floor in the middle of the night when walking barefoot on the floor, so that woke me up more. But again, I really did love this place, and all the fine details.

Beautifully restored in a quiet neighborhood setting. The room was lovely—like a Vermeer painting but with modern, clean amenities. We’d had a cold day visiting Texel and ended it at the Crown in a cozy bed with a hot cup of tea. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented—the service attentive and delightful. A highlight of our trip to the Netherlands. Highly recommend!

We liked everything about this property from the welcoming owner Ellen, to the beautiful and well appointed room, the charming living room and the fantastic breakfast served in a most charming dining room. we wish we had more days there to enjoy it and the North Sea coastline.

The hotel is located in a nice little town perfect for tulip hunting. The hotel itself is very charming and has a lot of character to it. The owners also stay in the same building and are great hosts. The breakfast spread was excellent and the hosts took care of the arrangements personally.

Location was a bit far out as we walked everywhere. They had trouble with internet which wasn’t nice because we needed to arrange our travel and so on, but this was out of their control.

Short story, if you want to stay in just a B & B hotel don't visit The Baron Crone! ! ! However, if you want to stay in a unique place in a fantastic hotel where you will feel like you are in a 7-star hotel (no joke !!) then this is the perfect place for you. By entering this hotel, you are transported back in time to a home that can be associated with the warmth of a family place, where you are always welcome, where breakfast is not a quick meal before work, but a moment is spent in an incredibly cozy, warm place, where the meal itself is just an activity and the whole essence of the moment, where classic music is quietly sucked from the speakers, where you will feed your senses with the view of the decor, where you will get delicious coffee or tea served in exquisite porcelain .... The rooms are very spacious, cozy and clean. The owner of the hotel, the woman is always smiling, nice and charming, delicious scrambled eggs - a real work of art :) This hotel does not need to be advertised, here you only have to hope that you will find a free room for even a short stay :)

Good location. Quiet. Lovingly restored old property but all necessary modern conveniences inside. Many nice touches and features. Nice bedroom, sheets, mini fridge. Nice bathroom although the shower water pressure could have been better.

Stayed when it was very hot. Top floor. An air con would have been very welcome.

An excellent property, beautiful and comfortable room, a quality breakfast. A lot of careful thought has been put into making this a great stay from the perspective of the visitor. we loved it.

Everything was quality - no issues

Everything was perfect! We are well travelled and demanding but this place surpassed all expectations considering it is a 3 star BnB at a very reasonable price. We spent 3 nights in this haven! The hosts were incredibly attentive and so kind. Our room was very spacious and everything was very high quality. Location is fantastic as it is a little outside from downtown Den Helder but easily accessible by bike (or by foot (4km)) and 10 minutes by foot to the sea and a selection of restaurants. Finally, the breakfast was off the charts!

We had a wonderful stay. It is such a loverly place with an amazing atmosphere. We stayed for one week with our 2 year old son. Rooms are really big, bed are comfortable, everything is very clean and renovated. Take at least 30-45 min for maybe the best breakfast we ever had in the beautiful breakfast room with high end atmosphere. Our son even got a bucket full of cars etc to play.
