No funcionaba el agua caliente y, como era feriado al dia sgte, no habia a quien reclamar, algo insolito para un hotel. Nunca contestaron el WP. Al check in, estuvimos 20 minutos explicando que los extranjeros no pagan el Iva. Segun ellos, tienen que cobrar el total que les dice booking. Finalmente nos reconocieron el crédito durante la cena.

Reviewed May 8, 2026The staff was very nice and were very patient with our limited Spanish. The food at the restaurant was great for dinner and the included breakfast was delicious. Very easy to find and great location to explore hornopiren and catch the ferry. Our room was very warm.
A little noisy but that's to be expected.

Shower temperature is virtually impossible to adjust. Boiling water flows for about a minute between runs of 4 minutes of freezing water. Breakfast is rather simple. Price is a bit high though.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Buenos días, El departamento no estaba bastante limpio, había utensilios de cocina sucios, con moho. Sofá muy malo, sucio, silla rota; dificil conciliar sueño por ruido de autos constante por estar al lado de la calle y ninguna aislación con el departamento del vecino a quien se oía roncar, de hecho hay un cartel informativo que indica cuide no hacer ruido para no molestar a los pasajeros del departamento contiguo.

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Really nice little BnB right outside the port. Nice stay if getting in late or leaving early on a ferry. Rooms were clean and tidy. They didn't have breakfast on Sundays so they left us a little tray with ham and cheese sandwiches and some other things that was a nice touch!
Staff seem hell bent on not working holidays or Sundays. We booked on the 1st of Jan and needed some questions answered before we lost cell reception, although we eventually did get them answered it took a lot of working around and they basically just told us we would get our info when we got cell service back which was a little nerve wrecking since our ferry didn't land until 3 am. On Sunday I had some questions about the wifi and the owner seemed remiss to answer them since it was Sunday, and there was no one on property, we were told there was a QR code somewhere in the room that we never found. Overall a great little place I just wouldn't book on a holiday unless you have higher tolerance for uncertainty than I do.

Room price was increased on arrival at hotel. When I showed the original price I booked, they relented but proceeded to make up the difference by charging a ridiculously high foreign exchange rate. They claimed it was the "airport" rate. The staff's attitude was unprofessional and unpleasant. There are lots of other nearby accommodation options. This hotel is definitely not worth the fabricated stories just to take a few dollars more than advertised.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2024There is not really any luxury lodging in Hornopiren so, for travelers spending the night to take the car ferry, this is one of the best options. The restaurant is very good, maybe the best in town. The lodging is clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. My principal complaint would be a below average breakfast since the restaurant is not open early and a modest repast is supplied in your room the night before. Since, I imagine many of their clients are here to take the early a.m. car ferry, I think they could do better. But everything else is fine.

The room had everything you needed for an overnight stay including internet. Even breakfast was included; it could have been a little richer though. All in all, a very good place to stay while waiting for the ferry, and all at a very attractive price

The room is sparse, furnished to a basic standard, located in a property of basic quality, right on the Ruta 7, meaning lorries rumbled by through the night. As we were the first guests to arrive we were able to park our vehicle outside our room, which pleased us from a security POV; however, we were blocked from leaving by other vehicles that parked after us in the allocated parking area, which is too small for everyone to park, unless they have motorbikes. If others are showering in the morning at the same time as you (before breakfast, in time to catch the ferry to Caleta Gonzalo), the water pressure is very weak. We had read highly rated reviews of the property that did not manage our expectations well.
