The breakfast was very delicious.

Sad to leave hotel early and one night stay is not enough

The staff were really nice.

Beds , stains of lipstick on the blanket since it hasn't been washed, same with the pillow bad smell , had to use it other side so It smells less and the flush not working had to pour water after everyuse by yourself.

Looks better in pics. On site,not so appealing.not safe for single woman traveller

Excellent staff, best hospitality. Have arranged a complete best package from Khatmandu to Muktinath via pokhara. Excellent trip in budget including best hotel stay in muktinath and pokhara. Food service was so poor that we were unable to receive food because of careless staff regarding its customers.

It’s located very close to the Pashupati temple (within walking distance) and to the airport which are the basically my main reasons i chose to stay here. getting a private room for this price was nice

🙏Jai Jagannath 🙏 We stayed at Hotel Shava Shankar 19th July to 26th July. Owner of the Hotel Mr.Prajwol had taken special attention about our stay.You will get him every day at his hotel office .All the staff are very nice and soft by nature.He arranged our stay at Pokhara also.In Pokhara Mr.Sudarshan had taken good care of us.. The hotel is very neat & clean.. It is very near to Pashupati Nath temeple. Only 2 minutes walking distance. You will get Pathao,Yogno lite ,In drive like car & byke app Katmandu. Yongo lite is the cheapest option. We are totally vegetarian.'Hotel Shiva Shankar' is totally vegetarian hotel. Have limited menus because in Nepal vegetables & fruits are not plenty available as we easily get in India. (Note:- Always carry 30% extra money whatever you exactly calculate your expenditure. ) Nepali people are more or less very simple. The weather was great. Katmandu is a very clean city which drew my attention. It is also applicable to Pokhara. But Janakpuri we found out opposite to Katmandu. Again thanks a lot Mr.Prajwol. All good things happened because of the blessing of 'Hari-Hari'(Madhava- Pashupati Nath) 🙏🙏Jai Jagannath.🙏🙏

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at your hotel from Shiva Shankar Hotel. I was particularly impressed with all the staff .The hotel's beautiful lobby, the helpfulness of the concierge, the delicious food at the restaurant. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wi-Fi signal was strong. The staff has helped me a lot. Thanks to the Manager Mr Projwal. Who has maintained the decorum of hotel and staff... It was wonderful to stay.. fully positive vibes

Mr prajwal, the owner is a gem. He is a great responsible tour organizer. He organizes tour packages throughout Nepal. He organized our tour to Muktinath via Pokhara at a very low cost yet comfortable throughout. Staff are supportive and well behaved. Location is the USP of the property. It takes around 3mins walking to reach Shri Pashupatinath Temple.

All facilities provided by the hotels are excellent. The behaviour of staffs towards to the guest is also excellent. Honestly speaking, it's value for money.

The real food options were almost none compared to the ones shown in the menu. Also, despite there are signs that indicate that you can pay with card, it is not possible to do it. We almost lose the flight because I had to walk 30 minutes to find an ATM and pay the withdrawal fee. They close the hotel early at night and we didn’t know.

The location. Walking distance Mandir. This is the best part. Room is small but organised. Food is good with reasonable price.

The owner of the hotel prajwol is a GEM. he was so supportive from the time my tickets were booked till dropping me till the airport. Never seen a hotelier who can think so much for a customer. He has helped us with nepali currency , Sightseeing and complimentary airport shuttle. He was not well still he came to meet me as he wants to create a good relationship between his customers. I really liked the overall gesture from all the staff , its just that the rooms are small , otherwise food is best and cheap and behaviour is to the next level.

The location of the place is good. The staff who run the hotel are nice, and helpful. The manager is a good person who likes hosting people and would give you some local trivia about the area and local tourist spots. Overall a nice experience but the stay was not the best.

The staff were good but they were not so careful. The rooms are not good and are not as advertised. Some facilities are ok, but most things need to be hugely improved. Small rooms, not great toilet facilities.

The location is close from the Pashupatinath Temple, so you can walk to the temple when the crowd is less, also close to the road to the airport. The owner Mr Prajwol Shrestha is very co-operative and helpful. He was in touch even before I started my journey. He ensures that his guests reaches the hotel without any hassle. The hotel is environment friendly as they keep RO water jar on every floor, thus the guest do not have to buy water bottles everytime, just refill and help create less plastic bottle waste. Good food and staff.

Check about parking if driving your own vehicle. If 3-bedded rooms, compromise on space.

As the pashupatinath temple is 2 min distance from my residence, I got a chance to visit the temple frequently , and also, the staff were helpful. The room which was provided to me was clean and fresh. It also got a pure veg restaurant service and served me a fresh and tasty breakfast and dinner. Overall I like the hotel and its management.
