Excelente ubicación en la zona histórica a 1 cuadra calle de las sombrillas, próximo a calle rosada y centro histórico con su iglesia. Se hace fácil el recorrido hasta el fuerte San Felipe caminando por el malecón y se advierte fuerte presencia policial. Señalo que a las 17 hs ya no hay movimiento porque es la hora en que se va la gente de los cruceros y no anda nadie. La gente del hotel es amable.

Si bien el hotel tiene sus años todo se vería mejor con una buena limpieza tanto en habitaciones como en los lugares de estar. Estaba sucio . La ropa de cama estaba bien ( encontré varias cucarachas en mi habitación ). Cumplió mis expectativas por ubicación no en limpieza

Un holor terrible a moho cada vez que tu entras, y efectivamente las paredes llenas de moho. El porton de atrás, que da una entrada mas fácil para todos los cuartos esta SIEMPRE abierto y SIN GUARDIA, cualquiera puede entrar, esto es peligrosisimo, sentí mucho miedo la estagia intera. Los trabajadores no hablavan mucho, no saludavan primero, esto es muy poco acogedor y poco profesional... Hasta la limpiadora de la nada llegó para donde nosotros y nos dijo que teniamos que estar pendientes para recoger nuestras cosas rápido para irnos, hablando ella sin ni saber que nuestro chek out era el dia siguiente...

Property is in a good location. Very close to attractions.

The windows don’t close properly. It is so loud that you can hear the motorcycles reving all day and night. You can hear people talking and screaming. I felt like I was sleeping outside.

El control de la tv no logramos usarlo, no cobran con tarjeta, en la habitación se escuchaba el ruido de afuera, las almohadas eran super duras, si vas, lleva tus almohadas.

I always have situations with the Front Desk Staff personnel after making the reservation online They Didn't have the room that I wanted where I had stayed before It seems to be a language barrier with communication The price is cheaper online but after the Booking Reservation code when I show the Front Desk they DON'T honor it or give you the original room

The staff was really welcoming and explained me something about the city.

The WiFi and the cleanliness could be better

Location, easy refund, free soap and Chinese condoms. One window that doesn't work. No worries you can look under the door to see who is at your door. No need to open the door either.

56k modem speed Internet if you even get Internet at night. Loud noise from motorcycles 18 hours a day and people partying at the hotel or singing. No HOT water and one switch to turn all the lights on and off. Great place to borrow a bed for a couple of hours.

In the center of the tourist area in Puerto Plata. Loved it. And staff is great.

Couldn't sleep. Constant street nose and children running on hallways at 3am and trying to open other rooms doors including ours, does not accept card to pay and have to have cash at hand, wifi bad, cleaners not so good!

The staff was absolutely lovely! I have super limited Spanish but they worked with me and made me as comfortable as possible.

The location is horrible for parking cars. Constantly had to shuffle with other clients who may or may not be in their rooms. The staff helped ad much as they could, but it still was quite a hassle. If you are hoping to park, I don’t recommend this place.

The room was loud until late at night, with motorbikes passing by fast. It was very worn down and felt dirty, humid and dark.

Price on booking.com is different when you pay on desk. The cleaner called to go at 10am when in reality was at 11 so we had to rush for no reason. There's no pool so the advertisement on tbe website doesn't exist in reality. The tv was not funtioning at all.

We liked the location. Able to walk around to many parts of the city close to the hotel. Hot water was available.

The property is poorly maintained. TV didn't work. Staff trying to access room without knocking your door and leaving your door unlocked after cleaning. We did not have any expectations about the place due to the price paid. Reservations are kept in a notebook, no computer at the "from desk". Reservations are not up-to-date. Had to wait a few minutes until from desk got a hold of somebody through text messages to confirm my reservation. We had to do an early check out 😕

I stayed in #30. You can hear all the people walking and talking outside the wall. Also everything shuts down after 7pm. Not much happening unless cruise ships dock

this was actually a place that couples rent by hour, so I found at the hall a packaging of condom and also in the room was a few close condom sachet

The location is good.

Really a lot of things. First, I booked a Standard Twin room and they gave me a double and they told me that if I wanted the standard Twin room (The one that i reserved) I had to pay an additional cost. On the other hand, the sink had a water leak and the showers are very uncomfortable.
