I recently stayed at this resort.. Some TLC needed to be done on the building.. Internal locks on doors, need attention. More facilities required in rooms, for example a kettle, cups. The pool was dirty,and unusable for the whole duration of my stay. Some staff lack customer care. The supervisor could be heard shouting using unsavoury language to guests. Other staff members were polite but clearly disturbed by this young lady's rudeness towards the guest. Customer service training needed.

Marvin was lovely, always polite and helpful. One receptionist was always polite. Room was clean although needing updating. Great view from the bedroom. Generally quiet location.

Totally ruined my holiday! I have travelled extensively and this place has been the worst overall by far. Arrived late due to delays at the airport told I could have one of two rooms downstairs even though previously told none available despite mobility issues. Also told I would not be charged for the night I missed due to medical emergency of another person on flight, charged anyway. Shown two rooms and chose the sea facing one. Receptionist struggled to work out the price but said the other receptionist would clarify the right price in the morning. Never done, just charged. Facilities not as described, no kettle or iron in the room as standard. Tv didn’t work properly throughout my stay. Arrived Tuesday and it took until Friday and a conversation with the owner to get the basics. Bins overflowing outside for most of the two weeks. Cats drinking from the outside pool. Asked for clarification about various things, get different answers from staff and owner about basic requests. Accommodation needs investment, visible rust around the bath, narrowly missed being shocked by socket twice. No restaurant despite the booking site saying there is, just overpriced food service which needs to be ordered the day before. Cheaper in town. No clear identification of staff unless they are stood at reception but told to ask staff and expected to know who they are. Several incidents of staff being rude and very unprofessional including in front of my family members. Tried to stay out of the way of staff as they made me feel very uncomfortable in the place. Had to sit out on the front to speak to family who came to meet me for the very first time, no privacy. Spoke to the owner a few times to try to resolve issues and enjoy my stay, but she was very unhelpful and gave lots of excuses or reasons for things being the way they are but expected top dollar for the accommodation. A truly soul destroying experience, so disappointing. A 2star accommodation at best.

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, big and well presented. There was a lovely view out into the sea. The Caribbean breakfast was plenty and delicious. We were able to safely leave our suitcase after check out as we had appointments.

We found the location remote and as we did not have a car, It was difficult to get around. The pool area had no chairs and there was some old furniture discarded around the area. The light in the passenger way was on all night, which hindered my ability to sleep.

Brilliant location, very peaceful by the sea front. Chef was amazing with freshly cooked traditional food everyday. Very clean and tidy rooms also staff was very helpful too.

Nothing we didn't like it was perfect for our stay.

The road is very bad

It is secluded enough for whoever wants that kind of setting. The room is decent but not enough for the cost. The room had a mini fridge but not even water was in it even for the 1st day. The staff are pleasant and helpful

Looks like it has seen better days. There were no daily house keeping, in fact we had to ask for toilet paper and towels twice. Bed sheets was changed on day 6. The hotel offers food but the price is about three times of what you would pay at a local restaurant or cook shop meanwhile it’s not even a full course meal and the portions are extremely small. I ordered from them once and had to go to another restaurant right after because we still hungry after paying that ridiculous price and no dessert or drinks came with it. My daughter went in the pool and had a skin reaction on her arms and thigh so it seemed like the pool did not get cleaned.

No breakfast was available, the restaurant or tracks nearby the location were all closed by 8PM, so to find a place where to eat was very hard.

Good quality breakfast, friendly staff and facilities met expectations. I've stayed a number of times and don't recall the TV ever working.

The local breakfast was as expected. The small family run hotel requires that you place your breakfast request the night before and your evening meal request after breakfast. Housekeeping is done on a daily basis!

The room was clean and cozy.

Unprofessional staff members arguing within earshot of guests. Also, getting access to the property was a problem, the gates took forever to be opened. The meals need to be addressed, not good value for your money. The meals were tasty and attractive, but the serving was way too small.

There was a water pump outside my window, every 30 seconds it makes noise like there is a leak on the line, I could not sleep

All meals were local and freshly prepared. All staff members and local chefs did their very best to meet our request. Perfect location sea and mountain views and complete relaxation.

Smiles, Services, employees, cleanliness and food were above average. The food was excellent. We are very particular for the sodium content and every meal was perfect.

There was no access to front of the property where the ocean is. The A/C could not flow into the bathroom.

Toilet didn't work, had to keep pouring water in it to get it to flush, no glasses in the room. TV didn't work. No handicapped facilities.

The Jamaican breakfasts were excellent - especially the ackee and salt fish and the callaloo. The fried dumplings were light and fresh. The escovitch with steamed bammy and the fried chicken were also excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and low key. I had a restful and enjoyable time

Unprofessional staff

We choose this venue for its location plus it has the advantage of a swimming pool. Towel service is very good and staff are generally helpful and friendly

Unfortunately the pool was out of action no discount was provided for this shortfall of a main amenity offered by the venue We stayed on this trip 4 nights and on a couple of days the hot water was not very warm The TV system also did not work for a couple of days of our stay not the end of the world but it increased our reliance on WiFi which we found to be very slow and encountered a lot of buffering in utilising phone apps etc. I do hope they rectify the pool situation which appeared to be out of action for some weeks If not they need to update their facilities profile accordingly I would still recommend the venue despite these shortcomings especially for us it was the location aspect that mattered the most. Let's hope they resolve these issues before our next stay especially the pool.

I like the view of the ocean and I like the staff

I didn't like the old furniture in the room, they needed some upgrades. I did not like the fact that I couldn't use the swimming pool because it was never clean, at one point the water was actually green. The bathroom needs to upgrades to stand up shower. Also the window over the front door let's in too much lights which interrupted your sleep.

The rooms were clean and well kept. The service staff was exceptional. The chef went above and beyond when needed. The entire team was amazing. The front desk team were responsive and very pleasant.

The property could use some TLC. Upgrade the shower curtains clean up the items stored on the grounds and make it more inviting to utilize the outdoors.

The staff could put a smile on. The energy of the staff is low. The friend I had with me said she was afraid to ask for anything because the staff acted as if she was a bother. I myself could feel it but wasn’t bothered by it. I have a good relationship with the staff because it’s my second time there. My guest was definitely uncomfortable. I hope it changes because I book my American guests here. Everything else about the place is amazing. Location, view, pool available, great food.

I got married here in april and on behalf of my family and I would like to say thank you. Our stay was amazing.. the food was sooooooo good omg lol. The rooms was nice n comfy. The outside was beautiful, nice for pictures. The pool was a plus. And the staff was amazing. They got us everything we needed. Very friendly and full of respect. The area was quite but not far from morantbay.

Well located, good size rooms and swimming pool. Exceptional staff who are an asset to the hotel.

The hotel owner needs to upgrade some of the furniture in the rooms and around the swimming pool area. The room patio door was difficult to open and shut. The patio was lovely but could use a chair and table to look at the view.

It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ms Brown was warm friendly and kind. Nothing was too much for her. She executed excellent customer service. Security was good. The view from my room was beautiful.

The reception staff that took over from Ms Browns shift. They were rude and dismissive, made it difficult for me to communicate with them. They were often sat outside chatting amongst themselves which meant I had to awkwardly break up the chat to request service. They could learn a thing or too from ms brown.

The room was clean, the room was sufficiently large, the room had sufficient sockets and spaces to work, the view from the room was awesome, I had a large private balcony, the ac worked and worked very well and the staff was pleasant and attentive without being overly friendly.

You had to put in orders for dinner too far in advance but Fish Cove Restaurant and Bar was close by and you are able to get almost anything there. It’s less than 10 mins by car.

I did not stay long enough for breakfast but the location was fine.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was wonderful; very friendly. They were very helpful. I had a family function which everyone enjoyed. The function room was nicely decorated by the staff. Because of the rain I did not get a chance to walk around the property but from what I saw I would go back.

They could not find my reservation which I made weeks in advance. So I had to settle for what they had. I also think the property is beautiful but needs some updating. It took a long time for them to even get my A/C going and once it started I was told not to turn it off.

The breakfast was excellent! Looked forward to it every morning. The hotel location was very good for ours needs.

The ac in the room was very loud. The water was not always hot. Lighting in the room was quite dark.

Staff was courteous,

No hot water for shower, bedroom and bathroom badly in need of remodeling. All bedrooms are upstairs (2 flights up) and no elevator or a Bellhop in place to assist with luggage. Here's a property in a great location, beautiful Oceanview and the building interior(rooms) in a much needed overhaul.

It was old inside the keys for the rooms are from back in the days could not even open the doors . There was no hot water the toilets could not flush . It was bad

What I did love was the worker was amazing and the place was very clean and the food was delicious how ever the service took forever.

What I didn’t love about the room was the bed and the pillows where uncomfortable it was so hard. The bath room needs some tender love care with the cosmetic. The wall plug in the where limited.

Breakfast was very good, however, you need to order overnight and service was very slow! they are willing to cook special food if you provide the raw material that they do not have in stock. That is a great service!!

The payment requested on site differed from the comfirmed booking.com rate. The pool did not appear clean.

When booking online your booking comes through differently on their end.. I booked 2 double king beds with sea view but their records show only a single bed..Myself and other guests were having that same problem
