Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt. Die Zimmer waren groß, super sauber und die Gastgeber total nett. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war Buffet und richtig lecker!

Super hôtel dont le jardin est très bien entretenu ! Le repas buffet du soir disponible sur réservation est très très bon et pas trop épicé pour nos palais délicats ;-) très bon rapport qualité (ce sont les légumes du jardin) prix ! La piscine est très agréable et propre.

Le petit-déjeuner buffet avec des plats un peu froids mais pas très grave. La salle de bain qui ne ferme pas et d'une propreté un peu douteuse. Celle-ci mériterait un serieux rafraîchissement, cela dénote avec la beauté du lieu.

Sehr schön in der Natur mit großen Bäumen gelegen mit vielen Pfauen und bunten Vögeln. Vom Pool aus kann man in ein Reisfeld blicken. Der Garten und die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, Frühstück lecker und die Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Alles super. Wifu war meist überlastet.

La stanza non era pulita, standard igienici abbastanza bassi.

La gentillesse et l'accueil du personnel. Grande chambre, clim fonctionnel. Bon dîner et petit déjeuner. Personnel au petit soin et très attentionné. La piscine superbe !

Que cuando llegamos vimos que el baño tenía el techo abierto y pedimos una habitación con baño cerrado y el empleado nos mintió diciendo que había un cristal arriba y no era cierto. En otras habitaciones si pero en esa no. Las paredes eran de papel y el ruido de las otras habitaciones no nos dejó dormir.

Hotel splendido, molto comodo per visitare Anuradhapura, camere pulite e spaziose, bagno grande e moderno, piscina piccola ma molto confortevole e con vista sulla vegetazione. In tutto l'hotel si respira una splendida sensazione di tranquillità. Cena e colazione in hotel a buffet entrambe ottime. Staff ottimo. Lo consiglio.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le personnel est très gentil et les chambres sont très agréables et confortables.

Il manquerait juste des crochets dans la salle de bain pour accrocher les serviettes.

The location was beautiful and super peaceful. Monaara Leisure is true to its name, where we saw many monaras (aka peacocks) roaming around. The food was delicious with a good variety of dishes. The room was also very clean, had many power outlets and a bedside reading lamp, which was important for me personally. The staff were also very friendly and accommodated all our needs!! If you're looking for an affordable yet quality place to stay in Anuradhapura - I would highly recommend this hotel!

Heerlijk fris zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de rijstvelden, rustige locatie, supervriendelijke ontvangst, lekker en zeer redelijk geprijsd diner in buffetvorm.

De badkamer kan een opfrisbeurt gebruiken, de deuren zijn lastig te openen/te sluiten, beperkte keuze aan fruit bij het ontbijt en enkel oploskoffie.

Fijne plek, dichtbij bezienswaardigheden. Schoon, leuk zwembad aan de rijstvelden. Prima ontbijt.

J'ai aimé l'emplacement et surtout la très belle piscine avec la vue sur les rizières. Le personnel est très serviable. Nous avons eu un problème avec la clim. Il a été réglé aussitôt.

Les chambres sont un peu simple et nous n'avons pas vraiment aimé la restauration. Mets c'est une affaire de goût. Dans l'ensemble c'est très bien.

Het prachtige uitzicht vanuit het zwembad over de rijstvelden! De kamer is ruim en schoon. Je kunt er fietsen huren om een tocht langs de stoepa’s te maken. ‘s Avonds is de accomodatie prachtig verlicht.

Wij vonden het eten wat beperkt. Het ontbijt is echt Sri Lankaans (rijst/curry) en wit brood met jam of boter. Het diner idem. Je kunt gemakkelijk een tuktuk boeken en ergens in de stad eten, maar ook daar is weinig westers voedsel te verkrijgen. Het zwembad lijkt niet te worden schoon gemaakt?!

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting the stupa’s of anuradhapura. The hotel is located near the most important sights. It’s just a few min drive. It is quitely located outside the city center The hotel does have charm. It is located next to a paddy field and has a nice and refreshing swimming pool. The breakfast is good. The rooms are alright with good airco.

The room could have been cleaner. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and could use some renovation.

The hotel was comfortable and the pool was very nice. The food (both breakfast and dinner) that was served was very good. We also very much appreciated the brilliant and friendly tuk-tuk driver (Sampath) who the hotel put us in contact with for our sightseeing. We used his services every day we were there (3 days) including a long trip out to Ritigala. If you stay in this hotel be sure to use him for your various explorations

It’s a lovely, small and personal resort, with a nice pool next to a rice field. Friendly and helpful staff.

Milý personál, byli jsme jen 1 noc, tak nelze úplně plně vyhodnotit. Prima bazén, v klidu a přesto kousek od centra.

Notre arrivée dans l hôtel était parfaite. La chambre était grand avec des lits King site. Le capitaine des lieux est un excellent cuisinier, nous avons eu des magnifiques petits déjeuners et le repas du soir était succulent. Si vous etes sensibles aux epices ils vous conseilleront les plats proposes.le personnel est très attentionné. Nous avons été au monastère le matin et l après midi nous avons profité de la piscine. Nous recommandons cet hotel.

Pas de gêne particulière. Si il y a un problème il suffit de parler au personnel ils sont très attentionnés.

Et hyggeligt og roligt sted omgivet af smuk natur. Vi lejede cykler og tog en tur rundt om søen på cirka 15 km, hvilket var en fantastisk oplevelse. Undervejs så vi egern, køer og aber, og vi fik også hyggelige snakke med de lokale, som gjorde turen endnu mere særlig. Vi spiste aftensmad på stedet to aftener, og maden var virkelig lækker. De hjalp med booking af safaritur til wilpattu og transport til Negombo. Det var et hyggeligt ophold, som vi varmt kan anbefale hvis man er til ro og natur.

Vi havde ikke noget, vi var utilfredse med, men vi vil anbefale, at der bliver sat en klokke op ved receptionen. Det var ikke altid nemt at få kontakt med personalet, når der ikke var nogen til stede.

Schöne Unterkunft und super freundliches Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsberrit! Frühstück war auch gut! Pool mit Aussicht auf Reisfelder. War tiptop!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Monaara Leisure Hotel. The hotel is beautifully located, and the pool offers a wonderful view of the surrounding rice fields. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked reliably. We would especially like to highlight the breakfast and dinner. Every day there was a different buffet with varied, very good Sri Lankan cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and also suitable for guests who do not like their meals too spicy. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel.

Un endroit très calme et très reposant. On s y sent bien et les chambres sont grandes.

1. Lage - einfach schön 2. Personal - sie waren immer da und sehr hilfsbereit, aber auch diskret 3. Abendessen - lokales, scharfes Essen. Uns Erwachsenen hat es sehr geschmeckt

Frühstück für Kinder hat uns gefehlt, an zwei von drei Tagen gab es nur ein lokales Frühstück, aber es gab nie ein Problem ein Omlett extra für uns zu bekommen. Personal war sehr hilfreich. Zum Abendbrot gab es nur scharfes essen, leider nichts mehr als Reis für Kinder. Am nächsten Tag ist Personal unseren Wunsch angegangen, es es gab auch kinderfreundliches Essen. Immer fragen, wenn es mehr lokale Turisten gibt als ausländische wird das Essen entsprechend scharf und sehr lokal zum Frühstück und Abendbrot serviert. Wenig Auswa

Zeer mooie omgeving met een goed zwembad. De kamers waren zeer mooi en netjes. Zeer goede ontvangst.

We missen er een dame die oog heeft voor bv het ontbijt. De mannen deden zeker hun best maar een beetje meer zorg voor presentatie maakt het helemaal af.

Muchos mosquitos. Existe un problema de organización en el hotel. Nos pusieron en una habitación y al día siguiente nos cambiaron porque no era la correcta. Al no poder ver en booking el precio en rupias hacen el cambio que les da la gana, para los europeos el peor. Además nos ofrecieron la cena, con un precio excesivo, todo incluido y cuando vamos a pagar las bebidas no estaban incluidas y las pusieron al precio que quisieron. No había información en ningún sitio.

Location was nearby to the main attractions, clean, well maintained, peaceful and charming. Facilities were as expected, had everything we need. Staff, welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional. Food very nice both dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed them thoroughly. Chef was excellent, cooked there own veg patch grown veges for us. We had authentic buffalo curd too.. Chef cooked our requests, prepared early morning milk rice for Puja, decorated it nicely, he even prepared our fruit beautifully. Thank you chef! Top floor views, paddy field, the monara and rest of the little wildlife, we enjoyed all thoroughly. Dip in the pool brought much needed respite from hot weather too. We had the place to ourselves that was unexpected and even better...! Unfortunately it was a very restricted schedule otherwise we would have stayed longer.! Thank you all.

We liked everything, there is nothing that I can find to say I didn't like.

Being in the pool over looking a small paddy field in the evening watching wildlife move around in the field was really nice. The location of the hotel is ideal as its located close to the Basawakkulama wawa, away from the busy town, and a short drive to visit the eight sacred places (atamasthana). The room had similar amenities as a hotel, the staff was really friendly, the food was personalized for us with srilankan cuisine as we were the only guests during our stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the hotel garden is beautifully designed and relaxing. The rooftop offers a scenic and stunning view, perfect for unwinding. The food was delicious with a good variety, and we really enjoyed every meal. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and supportive throughout our stay, always ready to help. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others

Good and the location is really good

The service was excellent. Special mention to the chef, Soysa, who catered to our tastes. Ishara and Kanishka were very helpful, too.

The pool with the View on the amazing nature... The room was very well equiped and quiet. Bathroom and beds met our expectations. Details for dimmed lights were appreciated.

Dinner buffet a bit too spicy for an european family with children :-)

Spaces clean room with modern bathroom. Like the architecture of the hotel. We also could see 03 temple tops from a view point in hotel during night which is a beautiful scenery. Provided a very good service and buffet breakfast was fabulous . It really value for money. We also had the opportunity to see several beautiful Peacocks in d hotel premises .

Sink in d breakfast area could have been kept bit cleaner though it was ok.

We appreciated the friendly staff and the rooms were satisfactory.

However, the dinner experience was disappointing. The food quality was poor, and after briefly seeing the kitchen area, I was concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene standards. This is something that definitely needs improvement.
