Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and peaceful, and the place has a nice, relaxing vibe. Rooms and surroundings were clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and fresh, with enough options to choose from. Would definitely visit again.

Poor and difficult communication with the hosts, the pool is a farce: it was actually the reason why I booked this place, but the water is boiling warm and it‘s no pleasure at all. Personally, this place is not worth the money (still rather expensive to other places in Sri Lanka)

-Huone oli likainen (hämähäkinseittejä) ja nuhjuinen. Huoneeseen mennessä ilma kostea ja tunkkainen, huoneessa haisi hirveällä, koska siellä oli elektroninen hyttyskarkotin päällä. -Ilmastointi ei toiminut kunnolla. -Ei tavallisia lakanoita, vain karheaa kangasta olevat liinat patjan suojana ja peittona. -Huone oli varattu 2 aikuiselle ja kahdelle lapselle, mutta petejä, tyynyjä ja peittoja oli vain kolmelle. -Allasalue oli kyllä kaunis, mutta allas oli likainen ja vesi seissyttä ja lämmintä kuin lehmänhönkäys. Liekö kyse puuttellisesta suodatuksesta (?), koska muissa alueen majapakoissa ei ollut samaa ongelmaa, vaikka ilma oli kuuma muuallakin. Kaikenkaikkiaan suuri pettymys täältä luettujen arvioiden jälkeen. Onneksi saimme muutettua joustavasti varausta ja yövyimme vain yhden yön.

Etwas irritierend fanden wir die Aufforderung bei der Ankunft, umgehend die gesamte Zeit von 4 Nächten im Voraus zu zahlen. Es war das einzige Mal, dass dies uns in 7 Wochen Sri Lanka passierte. Der Frühstücksplatz sollte ein wenig aufgehübscht werden. Die Katzen haben in der kleinen Küche überall Zugang.

We spent 3 beautiful days in this place. The owner and employees take great care of the guests. They provided us with a family atmosphere, breakfasts and dinners were very good. Замечательный отель, отзывчивый персонал, ненавязчивое обслуживание, нормальный завтрак. Бассейн чистый, подсветка на территории добавляет уют. Отличное расположение, в 5минутной пешей доступности находятся три хороших пляжа. Экскурсии и трансфер от отеля организовываются очень удобно и комфортно по оплате. Рекомендую. Ресторан при отеле неплохой, пару раз обедали и ужинали.

We rate our stay at this hotel very positively; a 10 out of 10. This is a family-run hotel run by a young, energetic man who sees nothing as impossible. He has a car, which our group of six traveled to all the places we wanted to visit at a reasonable price. The hotel's location is very good. The food is excellent. Breakfast is included in the price, and other meals can be ordered even a few hours in advance. The hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful. It was a shame to leave. We highly recommend this hotel.

Расположение хорошее , в пешей доступности супермаркет, кафе.несколько красивых пляжей . Приветливая и доброжелательная семья, всегда реагировали на наши просьбы .Чистый и новый бассейн, небольшой , но хороший . Семейный номер просторный и в нем есть все необходимое.

Не очень понравились завтраки , это был наш 5-й отель на Шри Ланке. На завтраках блинчики были вкусные , остальное не очень.Фрукты не всегда . Так же пару раз заказывали еду на обед , тоже не понравилось.Рано утром , около 5-6 утра начинался шум , отель семейный и слышны были разговоры и шум из кухни , людей с чутким сном это может смутить .

The pool, friebdly staff and good food, calm and peaceful place

I've stayed at this hotel many, many times , and have always said " it cant get better" well it has and I will come to that shortly, it's a family run hotel , I was treated very very well from the first date I stay 4 years or more ago I travel too sri lanka very often , running my own little charity , donating cricket equipment too two local schools, one here in ahungalla, and one in nearby balipitiya, everything about these people who run this family hotel is wonderful, there honest , caring , more than helpfull generous with there outstanding food , the cleaner nillanka ( non family, ) does a wonderful job , washes my clothes in the hotel machine , dries it folds it up etc etc , I give her a tip each time, 1000 rupees, less than a pint of beer at home , Ramesha, and vinoj also run the village stores so if you want provision,s you just request it and it will be bought to you , vinoj mum and auntie are on site continuelsy , so it's never unattended, then there's uncle silva who I've become very friendly with , a retired gem stone expert who I bought some lovley bits from for a fraction of the money you'd pay elsewhere, they give great advice on what and what not to do and who and who not not to trust , well you might ask with my 10 out 10 review , how can it get better , here goes its now got a 12 foot by 36 foot approximately, swimming pool , that's paradise , it was the only thing that the place missed but I put up with that because the way I'm treated here etc etc , but the pool is the icing on the cake as us English say love it here coming back for 4 weeks in November again with my 🏏 cricket equipment, for the underprivileged, , the one thing I don't like is leaving,

We did a last minute booking ! The owner was super friendly ! He also helped us with the adapter ! The breakfast was super big and good ! They are currently finishing the work for the swimming pool I think that in a few days the place will be even better

Really nice room located next to the beaches. Very good breakfast in quantity! And the staff are really nice and helpful. They took us for a boat trip to see the mangroves and to see what there is to see around. And show us the gems from Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely friendly, our room was nice and spacious. The outdoor area was very chill. We had the best (masala) roti in the whole Sri Lanka.

I absolutely loved everything about this property—the facilities, restaurant, staff, food, and location were all exceptional. One of the highlights is the easy access to both Long Beach and small beautiful secret beach, perfect for unwinding in the evening. I liked the room and is garden. Breakfast was plentiful. Unfortunately the dinner was not good...and there are few restaurants in the area. The nearby beach bay is cozy. Staff is nice.

A really lovely place to stay with jungle plants, monkeys and birds everywhere but what made it exceptional was our host's dad who was so genuinely warm, information and interesting. What a nice guy.

The owner and staff that work there are absolutely lovely and made my stay. The room was large with a balcony and had air conditioning. Lovely modern bathroom and large bed. Breakfast was lovely. And they can provide dinner for a great price (cheapest in the area) Free tea and coffee and use of there kitchen. Lovely little bar area and lovely cats and dogs. Location was great just a short walk to a small quiet beach.

Very cosy family accommodation with friendly housekeeper and delicious meal. They arrange for us 3hours tour around village, surrounding view points, cinnamon farm and spices garden. Definitely coming back next time in Sri Lanka. Thank you

I stayed there for my first 2 nights and it was the best choice. Hotel just after the renovation, big and clean rooms. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. 5 min walk distance to the beach (no people only palm trees - like in paradise). You have to try food because it's a very good one. Good vibe of the place.

Nice and quiet place. Short walk to small beaches with no people. And walking distance to big beach with restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The father in the family showed us around and told us stories about the area.

The family room had one double bed, one normal bed and a bed sofa. According to the description they are two double beds.

10/10 and more... The guest house is very nice, everything is new, clean, the room is specious, comfortable bed and a great shower! The view of the beautiful garden is just so calming, in 5min you can walk to the nearby beach and the local Buddhist temple. BUT the most beautiful thing about Sea Horizon is the family who runs it: they are the most amazing people... so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay, I will definitely come back here ❤️ Everyone took very good care of me, the ladies cook fantastic homemade meals, you'll love every breakfast and dinner, I promise! And the uncle is such a lovely man to chat to! A special thanks goes to Sana (owner's brother) who always helped me to explore the area and kept me company. 🙏

Easy to access from main road. Me and my husband chose their latest balcony room. The view from the balcony was beautiful green view. We watched birds and enjoy our morning coffee peacefully. Very good staff and owner is very friendly. Foods they offered also very tasty and you can customise them based on your preferences. We will definitely come back to spend our holidays with you. I spend in Ahungalla one month. This was my solo travel. Owner - Vinoj help me any time. I really liked his wife and children. I felt like part of the family. Breakfast was really good. The facility was clean. Garden is really amazing and very comfortable. Wifi connection was good - I had to work remotely also and I didn’t have any problem.

Nice place near ahungalla beach. Spacious rooms with kitchen and dining area as well. Delicious food served in good portions. Great customer service. Recommend.

Our one-week stay at Inn Sea Horizon in Ahungalla, Sri Lanka, was exceptional. Silva and his family's warm hospitality, coupled with the stunning views, excellent service, and delicious food, made it an unforgettable experience. The villa's cleanliness, proximity to beautiful beaches, and Silva's attentive management exceeded our expectations. Children felt like they stayed at close relatives. They wrestled exited to see monkeys jumping from tries to tree in harden and feeding them bananas. Thank you for a fantastic and value-for-money stay. Distance to Ahunalla beach 250m (6 mins walk), private beach 200m (5 mins walk), Kasgoda beach (500m, 15 walk via Buddhist monastery via mountains, steep steps), Turtle Hatching - the same direction as Kasgoda (600m), Nearest Restaurant and bars 250 meters (international cards cads accepted), if buy anything restaurant - sun bet on the beach, cheers, table, tent will be for free.
Nearest Grocery 900m - international cads accepted (15min by walk), Wineshop 1km (seeing a tourist they raise the price twice - ask show the price as it’s government shops, ask for a check).

It’s hard to find anything to dislike, but if I were to mention one thing, having anti-mosquito nets on windows would make the stay even more fabulous. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing and the wild ambiance. To savor these natural sounds, we opened the windows in the morning and slept under their soothing embrace.

Very beautiful and peaceful place for long vacation and relaxation for a single person, a couple or a family. They offer wider variety of foods and beverages through their restaurant. Fresh, super tasty, and on time delivery. This villa closes to two long beautiful beaches are worth for swimming and evening walk. Thank you for great hospitality and quality service.

We had amazing stay in this beautiful room! Villa is very cozy and comfortable. Also you can use clean and big kitchen with fridge, toaster and microwave. Most of all i liked the manager and owner Silva, he answered on all our questions and helped us a lot, also we was really happy with local food and especially breakfasts. I highly recommend this villa to everyone, quite cheap comfortable and cozy place ❤️

Proximity to the beaches is great. It is a very quiet location despite large beach nearby but peacefully relaxing Inn Sea Horizon beautiful friendly family with great stories to tell (Silva) and great breakfasts served up. Accommodation is clean comfortable and has everything you need
