Zimmer im Haupthaus flussseitig sind zeitweise etwas dem Terrassenlärm ausgesetzt.

Muito legal ficar hospedado tão perto dos rios Douro e Tamega. Alem disso os vinhedos no local e em frente a piscina são incriveis.

Tivemos três experiencias que deixaram a desejar. Sentimos que o hotel deixou a desejar no quesito flexibilidade em duas delas (nelas falamos com a atendente do balcão/recepcionista): não conseguimos agendar a degustação de vinhos locais (procuramos o hotel no dia antes de checkout por volta de 10h e informaram que devido a um evento não seria possivel); nos propusemos a almoçar no hotel as 13:40h e fomos informados que mesmo havendo mesas disponiveis não seria possivel nos atender. A ultima experiencia foi encontrar um osso de mais de 1cm em um folhado de carne que comi no almoço no Foz Hotel Bar, a atendente foi informada e disse que iria falar com a cozinheira. Acredito que as três experiencias vão de encontro ao que o hotel se propõe a oferecer.

We booked a Deluxe Room based on the pet policy shown on Booking.com, which stated pets are allowed on request with a fee no weight limit was mentioned anywhere in the listing. After booking, we were told dogs are only permitted in a separate "villa" category, and were initially offered an upgrade at 50% above our original room price. Only later were we sent an internal pet policy stating a 10kg weight limit, which was never visible on the booking platform and excluded our dog entirely! After raising this, the hotel then went silent for a full 24 hours! Right in the narrow window before our check-in date, when we most urgently needed an answer. This left us with no confirmed, dog-friendly option and forced us to book alternative accommodation elsewhere to avoid being left without a place to stay. Whether intentional or not, the timing of this silence could not have been worse for us as guests, and it's hard not to notice how conveniently it worked in the hotel's favor. The hotel's naming of accommodation types was also inconsistent. Staff referred to the same pet-friendly room as both "deluxe villa" and "deluxe apartment" in different messages, making it very difficult to figure out which accommodation type is actually pet-friendly and which isn't. IN SUMMARY. If you're travelling with a dog, be aware that the pet policy shown on Booking.com does not reflect the hotel's actual, stricter internal policy, and communication during a time-sensitive issue was slow. Overall, this hotel does not seem very pet-friendly despite how it's presented! 10kg weight limit excludes most normal-sized dogs, which is worth knowing before you book if you're travelling with your dog.

One of the best places we have stayed. It was our first holiday as a family of three, and I cannot describe the view from our bedroom; waking up with that view made everything better. The staff, especially João and Diogo, made our stay better; they recommended wines to my partner and were always smiling for all our requests. The bar Foz inside of the Quinta has really good cocktails. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The bed was amazing I highly recommend visiting the place.

Quarto excepcional. Espaçoso e super confortável.

O pequeno almoço deixa algo a desejar. Pouca variedade e muito pouca quantidade. Ficamos 2 noites e nos 2 pequenos almoços que tomamos não havia stock de comida. Foi preciso pedir para reporem os alimentos, o que fizeram com muita lentidão. Só havia 1 tipo de sumo (maracujá), não havia pão nem ovos, não havia iogurte, etc.

El diseño del hotel es contemporáneo, con diferentes edificios y villas en una gran parcela, frente al rio Támega en su encuentro con el Douro y con una piscina sobre los viñedos que lindan con el río.

El servicio no nos gustó, eran jóvenes con poca experiencia y no había un encargad@ o responsable al que acudir; reclamamos en varias ocasiones que la tv de nuestra habitación no funcionaba y no hicieron nada para solucionarlo. El bar de la piscina cerraba antes de su horario, y la habitación, aunque era confortable, era de escasa superficie.

Ficámos duas noites neste alojamento e, relativamente à villa e ao espaço envolvente, nada a apontar: estava tudo muito agradável.

Infelizmente, a última noite ficou marcada por uma situação bastante grave. Estava a decorrer um casamento no espaço de eventos e, devido à proximidade da nossa villa, houve bastante ruído durante a noite. O mais preocupante aconteceu por volta das 3h da manhã: enquanto eu, o meu marido e o nosso filho de 1 ano dormíamos, dois desconhecidos entraram na nossa villa e chegaram ao nosso quarto. Eram convidados do casamento e alguém lhes tinha dado um cartão que, inexplicavelmente, permitia o acesso à nossa villa. Como não é possível trancar ou bloquear a villa pelo interior e a receção está encerrada durante a noite, passámos o resto da noite inquietos e sem ninguém a quem recorrer. Na manhã seguinte reportámos o sucedido na receção, mas sentimos que a situação foi desvalorizada. Não recebemos de imediato um pedido de desculpas nem uma explicação sobre como foi possível dar a terceiros acesso a uma villa ocupada. Não sabemos se foi uma falha pontual de organização ou um problema de segurança, mas permitir que desconhecidos entrem no alojamento de hóspedes durante a madrugada é, para nós, uma situação muito grave. É uma pena, porque o espaço é excelente, mas uma experiência destas compromete completamente a sensação de segurança e tranquilidade.

Petit déjeuner un peu limité en choix. Terrasse extérieure réservée à une famille (nombreuse) ce qui obligeait les autres clients à déjeuner ou dîner à l’intérieur!! Service pas au niveau de standing de l’hôtel.

I’ve had my fair share of travelling across Europe, and I’ve always been drawn to agrotourism and boutique hotels when I’m looking for somewhere to truly relax. Yet, of all the places I’ve stayed, none has impressed me quite like Quinta de Santo António. Being Portuguese, there’s something incredibly special about discovering places like this. It reminds you why the North of Portugal is so unique. It’s not just the breathtaking views, the beautiful rooms, or how impeccably clean everything is. It’s the calmness and genuine friendliness of the staff — from the restaurant team to the housekeeping ladies. Everyone seems to be in a good mood, happy to help, with a smile in every encounter. And then there are the little things that make all the difference. After spending the whole day in the sun, I ended up with a terrible headache and, with all the pharmacies closed, the receptionist actually went and got me one of their Brufens. Who does that anymore? That small gesture said everything. Our family of four felt genuinely welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. And that’s something you can’t manufacture. Honestly, Northern Portugal still gets it right. The warmth of its people, the incredible food, the slower pace of life — I truly hope it never changes. Quinta de Santo António, thank you for reminding us how special it is to feel at home while being away. ❤️

Foi a 2a vez que fiquei aqui e adorei! Simpatia de todos os funcionários, muito prestáveis e atenciosos. Quartos amplos, a cama é maravilhosa e o pequeno é muito bom! A piscina e todo o espaço envolvente é muito agradável. E a vista indescritível!

Apenas de um dos dias ter acordado cpm o cortador/aspirador de relva mesmo por baixo/frente ao meu quarto. Sei que é preciso manter o espaço limpo e agradável mas acordar com este barulho não foi muito agradável, principalmente para quem vai a lazer e gostaria de descansar um pouco mais. Tirando isso, estava tudo perfeito!

O facto de ter uma zona de eventos junto ao alojamento retira tranquilidade e privacidade ao espaço. O serviço poderia ser melhorado.

The ambiance of the resort was a combination of old world charm and beautiful stone buildings with plenty of clean, comfortable, modern updates. The hillside setting and view from the infinity pool, hotel rooms and hotel bar was stunning. The breakfast was outstanding - a gorgeous selection of fresh fruit, baked goods, cheeses and meats and eggs cooked as desired. Rooms very comfortable and quiet.

Sharing facilities with a big family celebration going on on first day - and with their lengthy photo sessions by the pool - was a little disrupting.

Set in beautiful surroundings, contemporary feel accommodation. We stayed in a very spacious and comfortable apartment. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The towels smelled beautifully. Infinity pool and jacuzzi were super nice.

The staff went above and beyond in efforts to be helpful. In particular, I'd like to compliment Marianna, who was already on her way home when we realized we couldn't get the air conditioning control to work properly. She actually turned around from her way home to try to help us. Alexandra, Diogo and Jose were also wonderful. Each of them were very upbeat and considerate and always had a smile. The rooms were very clean and large. The view is outstanding and the grounds were immaculate. The wall of windows was stunning. The white chocolate cookies were heaven. Beautiful property, I would recommend highly.

Breakfast was fine, but the eggs and pancakes were always cold, The chef wasn't present during our time there and so the menu was limited and not consistent with the menu you have posted online. We had trouble with the air conditioning controls and the staff didn't know how they worked either. Alexandra finally found an answer for us on the second day. Perhaps an instruction manual in the room would have been helpful. The hotels we had in Lisbon and Fatima had a safe in the room but your villas did not.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist neu und hochwertig. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr engagiert. Schöner Pool und das Jacuzzi ist sehr gut.

Problematisch finde ich das integrierte Badezimmer, weil keine Privatsphäre. Die Lage ist abgelegen. Der Weg auf die Autobahn lang und überwiegend Te mpo 50.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Quinta mit unseren drei Kindern. Die Kinder haben sehr viel Zeit im und am tollen Pool verbracht, das Personal und der Service waren ausgezeichnet, das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The staff are very nice, the location is lovely (however note that while the hotel is in the Douro this is not the true Douro wine region which is an hour and half drive away). The pool over looking the river is beautiful. The breakfast was very good. The lobby was charming. The grounds are beautiful. Here’s the down side: do not stay here on weekends, there is a busy restaurant in the ground floor and the staff did not seek to care that restaurant guests where partying loudly until 1:30am, shouting, screaming, singing at the top of the their lungs. I had to send the front desk three messages before they put a stop to it. Pool bathroom broken, light don’t turn on and a mess. Hot tub not functioning. The room is nice but not at all practical - only 2 hangers, no hooks, and not enough place for two people to unpack comfortably and put anything anywhere the toilettes in our room is enclosed a glass cube behind a swinging door - if you like to go in the middle of the room with your partner right beside you then this is the place for you. Terribly designed. This was in the big room without balcony. I’m. It sure what the other rooms are like.

Localização fabulosa, alojamento deveras discreto, moderno e luxuoso ao mesmo tempo. A simpatia reconfortante dos funcionários/rececionistas em particular, é de apreciar em especial. A nivel dos quaros só falta espaço de arrumação. Quanto às refeições no Restaurante do empreendimento, são sofisticadas e generosas, bem pensadas e preparadas, embora e talvez numa observação mais subjectiva, era desejável que podessem ter um "toque de autenticidade" mais bem acentuado, já que são obra de um "chef", evitando a condição aparente de um catering "reaquecido"... a dúvida com que se fica após prova de alguns pratos...

O staff do restaurante / apesar de serem prestáveis e simpáticos, poderiam aprender um pouco mais sobre a arte do serviço a mesa, comunicação e também melhorar um pouco os conhecimentos na matéria da cultura gastronómica e vinícola da região. Do resto.., sentiu-se realmente a falta de alguma diversão/ocupação ativa, como uma sala de jogos por exemplo e/ou ginásio, por mais simples que fosse...(ficando esta como sugestão de melhoria...)

O Quarto tinha uma vista maravilhosa para a vinha e para o Rio Tâmega que encontra ali mesmo o Douro Cenário bucólico um verdadeira postal Quarto limpo ,acolhedor com WC limpo e chuveiro com a pressão certa Varanda onde bebemos uns vinhos da região com a temperatura agradável à noite O tempo esteve muito bom para a aproveitar a piscina onde também bebemos um gin maravilhoso durante a tarde ,água na temperatura certa O almoço com o menu executivo estava divinal mas o jantar foi a melhor refeição onde comemos umas entradas -camarão e chamuças vegetais prato principal-secretos e também bacalhau e ainda fomos na sobremesas tudo bem regado No jantar com a sala e esplanada bem composta quero destacar o João sempre muito calmo ,eficiente ,simpático e sorridente achei muita classe da parte dele Pequeno almoço somos muito básicos no que comer mas tudo que comemos estava bom mas reparamos que tinha muita variedade com o Staff também muito prestável (Sofia? Der Service im Restaurant ist sehr langsam und unbeholfen. Das Abendessen hat uns sehr enttäuscht und es war keinerlei Interesse an unserer Reklamation.

-Location -Spacious and clean room with lots of amenities and a nice view, -The pool and the view from the restaurant near the waterfront. -Free parking inside property

-Noise from parties (weddings, baptisms) that are thrown on the property grounds and in the city (the local church bell goes off every hour even during the night and one evening they had a city wide broadcast of the mass till very late!, then another night we could hear till very late a local concert). -Pool area is not sufficient for the number of guests -Restaurant on premises is too expensive and very small choice -Breakfast is lacking when compared with other hotels at similar price/category. Items ran out very fast even at the start of breakfast time -For reduced mobility people it can be a problem to get from the restaurant/breakfast area to the rooms

A quinta é linda, a piscina estava muito convidativa e realmente conseguíamos desligar do quotidiano. O quarto estava arrumado, limpo e muito confortável. Os funcionários sempre muito prestativos.

O pequeno-almoço foi bom mas simples em relação ao valor pago.

No dan muchas indicaciones de las actividades que puedes hacer cerca, hay poca variedad, por lo que si buscas hacer cosas fuera, no es viable. En nuestro caso, coincidimos con muchos niños, al ir en pareja no es lo ideal.

Provavelmente, dos melhores hotéis em que Já estive. Quartos lindos, espaçosos, uma vista de tirar o folgo, piscina incrível. Os funcionários super simpáticos. Tudo impecável.

Não como critica mas sugestão, gostaria de ver mais opções no pequeno almoço, como por exemplo iogurtes.

Nice hotel directly at the Douro river with a nice pool area, big garden, restaurant and a bar located at the river. Rooms had been very nice with comfortable beds. Parking spaces available at no charge directly at the hotel. Good breakfast with many choices.

Not much space in the rooms to put your clothes (very few hangers and no cupboard). Service personnel in the restaurant, breakfast area and at the bar was constantly understaffed which led to long waiting times. Also, some of the service staff could need some training.

Adoramos a experiência e iremos voltar! A casa e o quarto muito acolhedores e com uma decoração incrível. O staff muito muito simpático e atencioso. A menina Alexandra é incrível. Ficamos algum tempo a usufruir da piscina, com a sua vista sobre os vinhedos e o rio. Muito bonita a paisagem e relaxante. Fica a menos de 1hora do Porto o que torna o lugar uma excelente alternativa para passar o fim de semana. A Quinta tem também restaurante e bar sobre o rio.

Da vista, dos quartos e da localização

O pequeno almoço podia ser mais variado, mas ainda assim era bom. O restaurante fomos jantar e deixou a desejar, não tem qualidade par aos preços praticados
