Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Tiene una ubicación muy buena para ir andando a Kumano Hayatama Taisha y a kamikura jinja que se ve desde la ventana de la habitación que nos tocó. La cama y la habitación estaban bien. Tiene un combini al lado, varios restaurantes y sobre todo un restaurante de ramen (Raku)que hace un ramen de miso apoteósico fuimos los 3 días que estuvimos allí. A 5 minutos andando escasos tienes la parada para coger el autobús que va a Kumano Hongu Taisha y a Kumano Nachi Taisha.

1階にアメニティが置いてありましたが、コーヒーのパックもあると嬉しいです。 タオルもお部屋にあるだけで、両方温泉で使ってしまい、朝は湿ったタオルで使いました。

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026This hotel ist very much okay for the price asked. With the price there is a free breakfast included, which makes the offer even more enticing. The rooms are fine. There is both a supermarket and a combini directly across from the hotel. Additionally there are quite a few restaurants and Izakayas nearby. The hotel is about a 10 Minute walk from the station, however is also easily reached by bus. The busses stopping nearby also run to Hongu, if you want to visit the shrines there.
The whole hotel clearly shows it age. While being clean, the interior looks like it's from the late 80s, with the wear and tear of this advanced age showing as well. The breakfast is free, however the selection is also limited. As it stands there is nothing really exceptional about this hotel which would make me rate it higher. It is just an okay place to stay, especially on a budget.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Locatie was prima ten opzichte van de prachtige Kamikura-jinja shrine en Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Het hotel heeft gratis fietsen beschikbaar waarmee je prima door het rustige dorp kan fietsen. Fijne plek voor begin/eind van Kumano Kodo trail. Het ontbijt is veelal gericht op Japanse gasten maar er is voor Westerlingen ook voldoende. Veel authentieke Japanse eethuisjes in de omgeving, hotel heeft er een duidelijk boek voor liggen bij de receptie.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026The room was really spacious, especially considering Japanese standards. The staff was mostly helpful, while not all of them could communicate in English effectively, we managed with our very very basic Japanese and their very basic English. The price was surprisingly low.
The hotel was a bit shabby. The room was very hot, the air conditioning didn't work (it only blew in hot air), and the room window couldn't be opened. As a result, the room got so hot that we couldn't sleep. We had to open and wedge the door several times to let some fresh air in from the corridor. The hotel is in the middle of nowehere, actually. There are some restaurants nearby, but they are only open for a few hours around lunchtime and in the evening. They are also very small and crowded. Therefore we had big difficulties finding a place to eat in the evening near the Hotel.
