Wir waren 3 Personen und bekamen ein Zimmer mit einem oberem Stock und kleiner Teeküche. Hatten deswegen sehr viel Platz was wirklich schön war. Für den Strand konnten wir extra Badetücher vom Hotel nehmen. Morgenessen war auf der Terrasse zu oberst mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Frühstück war ganz gut, es gab viel Auswahl.

Die Rezeption ist zu oberst, das heisst sehr viele Treppenstufen. Mit Gepäck ist das nicht sehr praktisch. Dies könnte vom Zugang im Dorf besser beschrieben werden. Vorallem wenn das Zimmer dann an der Strasse im Dorf unten ist. Für eingeschränkte Mobilität ist das Hotel nicht geeignet. Parkplatz zu finden war eher schwierig. Es gibt nur wenige Parkplätze oberhalb des Hotels (näher bei der Rezeption). Es gibt viele Parkplätze beim Strand, was etwas weiter vom Hotel entfernt ist. Darum empfielt sich das Gepäck bei den Parkplätzen oberhalb der Rezeption zu platzieren und danach einen zu suchen.

הכל היה נפלא. צוות מקסים. היינו צריכים לצאת מוקדם בבוקר לטיסה. דאגנו לנו בערב לארוחת בוקר' שניקח איתנו לחדר. קיבלו אותנו עם לימונדה טריה מעשה ידיהם מהעץ בחצר. הכל יפה, נקי, מסודר. מגבות בשפע. גם לקחת לים. הנוף מהמם, הקרבה למרכז העיר ולמבצר ממש ממש מעולה. הנוף יפהפה. מטבחון נוח. הכל מצוין.

למי שקשה צריך לדעת שיש המון המון מדרגות. לנו לא הפריע.

It’s a picturesque old fashioned guest house, feels like it jumped out of a fairytale. As is often the case with such buildings, don’t expect electric outlets next to every sleeping place or a lot of space. Bathrooms are new and well maintained. You will definitely use the air conditioning. There is NO PARKING, you’ll have to park further away and carry suitcases up steep, narrow roads and stairs (so many stairs). In general, the old city of Nafplio has a lot of climbing and stairs, not for the faint of heart. Amazing staff, very clean, excellent breakfast with many homemade options.

were in the lower second apartment on street level so missed the nice views. Rooms were very small and pokey.

The staff were very friendly and helpful- the property spans quite a few steps and the man insisted - literally insisted- on carrying my bag😌. The room was compact but clean and had everything I needed. It was sold as a one bedroom room and the bed was 4ft so that was excellent. It is near the old town of Napflio also the local beach. The homemade marmalade at breakfast was very tasty.

We stayed only for one night however we were very satisfied . The room was clean and the owners were the nicest hostesses I have ever met. The location is also very good with excellent view but you have to keep in mind that when you choose to stay within the old city, you cannot avoid the stairs

Great hotel to stay. The location is great near the remparts and close to the road leading to the sea. The room was charming and very clean with an amazing view. The owners are extremelly nice and helpful. I dont think one can beat the quality / price ratio.

Beautiful small hotel with amazing views over the city and water. The rooms have small outdoor areas with a table and chairs and sun umbrella. Excellent location right in the old town. Quiet and secluded.

Hotellet ligger högt uppe på berget vid kastellet och har en fantastisk utsikt över staden. Området är bilfritt och lugnt. Ett par minuters promenad så är man nere i den gamla stadens centrum. Rummet var litet men bekvämt och hade en liten balkong där man kunde njuta av utsikten över staden. Vi fick ett mycket hjärtligt och vänligt mottagande och servicen var över lag mycket god. Frukosten serverades på en stor veranda som även den hade fantastisk utsikt.

Vårt rum var beläget rakt under terrassen och då det blåste mycket väsnades det från parasollen som var skruvade i golvet (dvs vårt tak). Vi hade också problem med airconditioningen som vi inte lyckades ställa in till en lagom temperatur. Frukosten var i enklaste laget men det som serverades var gott och av god kvalitet.

The parking situation was quite confusing. We would have liked some more information about that ahead of time.

Nafplio is a wonderful city, and this is a fantastic property. The service is gracious and so friendly. We enjoyed the location and the views from the breakfast area.

If you are not comfortable with steps, this is not the property for you. It is on a hill, and there are quite a few steps in the hotel (and to get to the hotel). Additionally, parking is a challenge - do not unload your luggage until after you have checked in as some rooms are up the hill and others are at the bottom of the hill.

We loved the character of the property. It felt like we were in our own little oasis! It is very beautiful and we especially liked the stone room. We also really loved the complimentary breakfast. Everything was delicious especially the Greek yogurt and orange pie! We got it every morning and are still thinking about it after leaving! The property was also in a location that provided amazing views. We loved walking down through the city for dinner and shopping. We had an amazing experience overall and wished we could have stayed longer!

Obiekt jest idealnie położony, blisko zarówno do miasta, do plaży i do zamku Palamidi. Nie ma parkingu ale bardzo blisko jest parking publiczny. Piękne widoki z tarasu na zamek i miasto, śniadanie proste ale bardzo smaczne też na tarasie. Na miejscu zostaliśmy przywitani domową lemoniadą przez przemiłego i bardzo pomocnego zdaje się syna właściciela.

Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich, Das Zimmer Top, schön in der Mitte der Anlage zum Ausgang in die Altstadt gelegen. Alles Fußwegs erreichbar. Jeden Tag frische Bettlaken, Handtücher auch für den Strand.

The breakfast wasn’t great. Fresh seasonal fruit was missing. They were very accommodating to my husband’s gluten free request.

A bit of a pain to get your luggage there if you come from down below. Much better to come from the road above and walk through the tunnel and the hotel is right there.

Super Blick über Nafplios. Zimmer ist gemütlich. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Parkplätze nicht direkt beim Hotel. Wir haben auf dem Parkplatz Beach gestanden. Vom Gastgeber wurde uns aber ein Parkplatz in etwas kürzerem Abstand angeboten.

Very nice staff who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with homemade lemonade and baked goods. The view overlooking the town was picture-perfect. There were plenty of outlets to charge our electronic gadgets. The room was spotlessly clean.

The stairs were steeper and more numerous than anticipated, though in fairness the property it did warn potential guests about the stairs. The small bathroom needed an additional shelf or small table to hold toiletries.

We absolutely loved our stay . The room was great with a beautiful view. The family that owns and runs this establishment are superb. Very friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. The breakfast was very good. Plus the view from the terrace at breakfast was breathtaking. We hope to return.

We loved our stone room! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed (i.e. the plumbing all worked well).

Nice location in the town. Excellent room and service. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.

We had a hard time figuring out how to park our car. Eventually we parked somewhere on the hill, would be great if the host provided detailed instructions.

The homemade breakfast was wonderful. The staff were exceedingly kind and understanding. Our room was immaculate and the location was perfect.

Rooms were very nice, and the bed was by far the most comfortable of any place I stayed in Greece! Staff was super nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good, and they apparently have a family farm with lemons that they make their own lemonade with that is super tasty. Great place. Highly recommend

Parking was not close by and cartying luggage down stairs.

Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν λίγο σαν φυλακή. Δεν είχε παράθυρο και ήταν πολύ μικρό. Η τιμή του ήταν πολύ υψηλή για την άνεση.

Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist prima. Wir wollten am Abend noch eine Flasche Rotwein trinken doch da war keiner vorrätig.

Lage: 104 Natursteinstufen von der Stadt zum Hotel. Das ging leider aus der Beschreibung NICHT hervor. Die Matratzen waren für uns etwas zu hart.

A family owned business who were all very friendly and helpful. The dining area do breakfast has an amazing view. The food was excellent! Easy walking distance to Old Town.

Rapport qualite prix onereux, j ai ete decue de la chambre (assez petite et ne correspondait pas forcement aux photos) Bruit de la rue (les fenetres ne sont pas doublees) mais egalement des autres clients de l hotel car ma chambre donnait sur l interieur avec les terrasses, le bruit porte des lors que les autres clients etaient devant leur porte de chambre Attention pour le parking il faut viser juste ! et bien se garer en face d un ancien hotel desaffecte et descendre vers la Pension, ce n etait vraiment pas clair et malgre mes demandes je n ai pas eu de claires explications donc j avais fait un detour a Pied alors qu en fait le parcours est a 3mn de marche

המקום לא מיועד לבעלי מוגבלות בהליכה או עליה וירידה במדרגות. המיקום מעולה אך יש צורך בירידה במדרגות ישנות בריצוף לא ישר להגיע לעיר העתיקה מרחק לא גדול . החדר רחצה קטן ולא נוח. ארוחת הבוקר טובה למי שלא רגיש למוצרי חלב כמוני. להגיע למלון מהחניה עם המזוודות עזרו מהמלון. כשיצאנו לא עזרו וזה לא תענוג הליכה ועליה של מדרגות בריצוף של אבנים. שזה יפה אבל לא נוח.

Ah, Pension Marianna. Perhaps my favorite stay in our entire three week vacation. What a welcoming establishment! Pension Marianna is family run, three brothers and their adult children are as friendly and as helpful as can be. Want tickets to a performance? They’ll arrange it, need help dealing with money exchange? They’ll assist. You’re greeting with a glass of homemade lemonade and guided to your room. Ours was lovely. We had a view of Nafplio from the walkway to our room where they supply cafe tables in front of each room. Check out the photos on their site. The rooms are beautiful! The beds are comfortable and the shower is just what you want. Breakfast is excellent. Yogurt, homemade orange marmalade, fresh bread, an assortment of sweet and savory Greek pastries, eggs, and fresh fruit. Just what you need to start the day. There are many ancient ruins nearby. We opted to not spend a lot of time in the car and the furthest we went was Nemea, about an hour and a half away. Old town Nafplio is a lovely town and Pension Marianna adds to the loveliness. Make sure to take a screen shot of the directions they send you and do not rely on Google maps! Maps takes you to the part of the hotel which is pedestrian. Their directions take you to a place to park above the hotel. The photos are of our walkway, room entrance, Marianne from above (yellow building) and the view of the fortress from the breakfast porch.
