L’emplacement au bord de la plage. L’excellent petit déjeuner et les plats végétariens, avec des nouvelles suggestions proposées chaque jour. Le calme du lieu, le personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable. Le concept proposé qui permet d’aider les habitants de Rincon.

Everyone at the hotel (except the owners) and every guide for the excursions only speaks spanish - we didn’t know that and it made everything a bit hard (and the activities also less fun, because there is little to no information transfer) It is very hot in the room during the night beause there is no a/c and no breeze (only some ventilators which are rather loud) the village is not very pretty and we didn’t really feel safe there (nothing happened though) construction nearby was active during weekdays, which was very loud and not that relaxing on weekends the village plays extremely loud music that you can hear in the hotel We would have appreciated if the hotel would have taken care of the laundry - but they made us go to the village (10mins) and go to a local laundry shop (also to pick it up a day later again) There was a weird smell in the bathroom during and after showering (maybe the filtered / reused water)

Nous avons tout aimé dans cet eco lodge. Seul établissement de vraie qualité a rincon. Nous avons adoré le restaurant avec un très bon rapport qualité prix, la décoration des chambres magnifiques, et la gentillesse et l’accueil personnalisé des équipes (merci Angie !). Une vraie bulle de bonheur, et de repos, et le plus belle hôtel que j’ai fais en Colombie !

Un endroit exceptionnel de par sa localisation sur une très jolie plage peu fréquentée. L’eau y est claire et chaude. Exceptionnel également par le charme et le confort de ses installations : simplicité et élégance, inclusion d’artisanat local, tout ce qu’on aime 😍. L’équipe est exceptionnelle : l’accueil est personnalisé, chaleureux, professionnel. Vous vous sentez comme chez vous, mais en beaucoup mieux :-) les fondateurs sont adorables et animent cet hôtel avec un projet sincère de contribuer au développement local par l’emploi et par l’éducation, tout en limitant fortement l’empreinte sur l’environnement dans la construction mais également dans le fonctionnement de l’hotel. Bref, un petit paradis dans un village qui a gardé toute son authenticité ! Merci pour votre accueil, je reviendrai c’est sûr !

La chambre avec vue sur le jardin est paradisiaque 🤩, nous avons adoré. Les petits déjeuners délicieux on se sent cocoonés. La gentillesse du personnel, tout était parfait.

Tout, gentillesse du personnel, qualité de l'établissement, très bonne cuisine, les services de visite ou massages assurés avec les locaux sont aussi un plus. L'architecture du lieu, son jardin central et le rapport à l'extérieur en permanence... parfait en tous points.

Séjour superbe dans un environnement exceptionnel. L ensemble du personnel de l établissement était d''une extrême gentillesse et disponibilité.

Tout est pensé et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, le personnel est chaleureux et attentif. Le prix est certes plus élevé que dans d’autres endroits, mais les préoccupations environnementales et sociales de l’hébergement le justifie. L’hôtel a en effet à cœur de promouvoir le potentiel local, tant à travers l’orientation professionnelle des jeunes du village que dans son soutien à l’économie de proximité. Bravo pour cette belle énergie!

Un hotel maravilloso, sostenible, con propósito. Todos los empleados son muy amables y siempre están pendientes de lo que puedas necesitar. La comida es deliciosa, tienen un menú muy variado y con platos fuera de lo usual. El desayuno es absolutamente delicioso, mi parte favorita. La vista del hotel es perfecta y tranquila, es un lugar muy especial para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza y la comunidad. Sin duda alguna volveré.

Every simple thing! Location, staff, amenities, food… we loved every single minute of the 4 nights we spent at the Lodge.

We spent there wonderful days here at the end of our Colombian holiday. It’s a paradise. The perfect place to rest and enjoy the sea and wonderful, healthy food that’s made with love. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect place to stay, the design of the bedrooms is amazing, fabulous breakfast. My favourite thing about it was it was so quiet, especially in the mornings. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The sea was full of grass and opaque, I like to be able to see my feet! This is obviously out of the control of the hotel which is an amazing place to stay but since Rincon del Mar is renowned for it's "crystal clear waters" I was disappointed when I discovered this. Sea is lovely and warm though!

Might smell a bit sometimes but we are in a place far away where canalisation system needs to be recycled and creative, sooo totally normal!!

Gorgeous location, right at the beach. Open concept but very quiet mostly due to it being off season. Vegetarian dishes prepared with love. Unlimited coffee! Delicious juices. Comfortable beds with mosquito net. Hammocks everywhere. 100% recommend and will come back.

The lodge is divine. It truly is an exotic escape from reality. The staff is wonderful The rooms are gorgeous. It is in a quiet and beautiful location. Communication via WhatsApp is excellent.

The location is perfect and very well indicated. We got there without a problem. The staff was always available to provide us the support needed to get to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and incredible. Completely built around the nature, with an amazing beach in front of the hotel and a tropical garden inside it. A great balance of the building, with the local environment (beach and lake) is seen in all aspects, which confirms the minimal impact of the hotel activity in the nature around it. The pictures of the hotel do not show how amazing it is. It's really an incredible place to spend a break and relax. The hotel has the nicest staff we've met in our travels, and the plus, they have the most cutest dogs and a shy cat. Excellent time spent there and would recommend all the time.

The food, the staff, the location, the dogs, the activities - all perfect. Finished our week feeling rested and refreshed.

It was amazing! Great beach and community. Dos aguas lodge has also a fantastic concept of responsible eco-tourism. We had a wonderful time. The place has a really special vibe to it that makes you feel at home and in paradise

Beautifully designed unpretentious facilities with lots of vegetation on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Amazing staff and good food. Lots of beach chairs and shade canopies, and can retreat into the deep shade of the open front building when the sun is high.

Liked everything about it

Great to be back after 5 years. Staff is still as friendly, breakfast and food as yummy- and lodge clean and well-designed. Rincon Del Mar forces you to take the day as it comes and is a great way of detoxing and deconnecting.

Everything ! The beach view from the restaurant /breakfast, the room was nice and confy, the staff was extra nice, the food was delicious (vegetarian pasta "carbonara" sssoo good, and they have gluten free pasta i coudl eat) the drink as well, the music fit the vibes. I had some of my best sleep there probably due to the near beach air /sound, so relaxing! And the sunset from the beach, amazing!

Just wow! The location is fantastic, right on the beautiful white sandy beach. We were amazed as we entered the lodge, the interiors are stunning, the room was huge and the bed so comfortable. There are double sinks, a mosquito net and there was water provided. The room opens out onto the sand and there is a relaxing area with hammocks to relax in, right next to the river. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. You step right out of the lodge and onto the beach where you can use the paddle boards and relax on the beach. In the evening we had cocktails at happy hour and watched the sunset as well as a storm in the distance! Stay at Dos Aguas for a slice of paradise!

Beautiful room- grateful for the ceiling and floor fans because it was HOT and humid during my visit. The design of the room is very well ventilated. Also happy for the mosquito net but I did not notice an abundance of mosquitos (I used the provided plug in repellant which I guess works very well!). Excellent, helpful, happy staff and adorable gang of beach dogs who I would think were also on staff if I didn't know any better. Really good cocktails and food. Best of all, Dos Aguas connects you with locals who provide activities in the area and this was my absolute favorite part - I did a great hike through the tropical dry forest (which wasn't dry after heavy rains but gorgeous and interesting) and the perfect yoga class. They are super close to a dive center and I enjoyed a day of scuba and also got a massage. I spent some time just lounging in the beach chairs in front of the lodge and floating in the warm ocean. People do approach you to sell things and they are so friendly and not aggressive at all. I tried some sweet treats and got some cute jewelry. It was just great!

Because of the room setup, it can be a bit noisy at times during the night, but wasn't too bad overall

- stunning eco lodge next to the sea - amazing staff - great food and breakfast - free coffee and tea - they habe their own recycling system and use the water 3 times - very conscious behavior towards nature

- nothing - the inly thing to take into consideration is that the rooms are not completely closed so maybe you hear the people in the other rooms (eben though it's forbidden to be loud)

Location is spectacular - right on the beach. Staff are brilliant and there is a genuine focus on sustainability, rather than just using it as a buzzword. Rooms are really comfortable. Activities were fantastic. A really memorable experience.

There is so much to love about Dos Aguas - comfortable rooms with large beds and that keep cool at night with fans, amazingly friendly staff that seem interested in their guests activities and satisfaction, and the location was exactly what I was looking for... a remote, small town of locals located directly on the coast. The lodge is environmentally conscious and seeks to foster sustainability and economic prosperity for the local community. I staid 6 days - and could easily have staid twice that. As an endurance runner, I appreciate running the main road (long runs) as well as the coastline (~6k) each morning. It was great to get familiar with other early risers as well as see a couple other local runners!

This was my first time to Colombia and I speak very little Spanish. I was concerned about being able to navigate from Cartagena airport to Rincon by taxi, bus, and moto. Despite language challenges - it was a long trip, but was actually very simple. This made getting there very affordable. The ride back was arranged by private car - and again a long trip (about 2.5-3 hours) but delivered directly to the airport to my flight. The WiFi was adequate enough for me to attend online class. I'm reaching for anything to 'not' like... part of my desire was to find a location that was not easy to get to!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They all try to give you best advice to have the best holiday. The location of the hotel is stunning, everything is super relaxed.

The breakfast could include a bit more fruits, especially the pancakes. And the main dishes could include regional options. The ladies in the kitchen are amazing and great cooks but we were missing some of their influence on the dishes.

We adored our stay here. favourite slice of heaven in Colombia. Their sustainability ethos is incredibly inspiring and I left feeling motivated to take forward some of their steps. Meli front of house is such an asset to the hotel. such a kind and organised easy going individual. the island boat trip was excellent. the food is delicious. the rooms are beautiful. the yoga area is beautiful. loved it.

the one thing was that we found the food service to take a bit of time. around 40mns after ordering. but also, if you accept the vibe and order a little ahead then it should not be too much of a bother.

Absolutely nothing

The food was excellent, the ambience very chill. Snorkelliingvawas great, swimming with bioluminescent plankton was amazing, so cool! For anyone coming from Cartegana that wants private transport forc290,000 COP, contact Amelia Transportes Guillo, they are excellent, great driver, nice comfortable, safe vehicle, way more reasonable than other private services. Alternatively a taxi to San Onofre, then the bus to or from Cartegena comes in at about 75,000 one way, and the buses are comfortable. Well with the trip, no matter how you get there.
