Era o aniversário da nossa filha e a nosso pedido fizeram um bolo de aniversário maravilhoso. Todo o espaço envolvente é verdadeiramente idílico. As fotos não traduzem verdadeiramente a espetacularidade do espaço. E, mais uma vez, convém relembrar que os funcionários são inexcediveis. Fizeram-nos sentir verdadeiramente em casa. Experiência a repetir sem dúvida

Mixed feelings on this one, so I’ll try to be fair The setting is genuinely stunning - the location inside the gorge is unbeatable. Some of the staff were excellent, and Abdullah in particular deserves a specific mention: attentive, warm, and clearly great at his job. We later learned he’s only there temporarily, which is a loss for this property - whichever hotel he brings his talents to next is lucky to have him The food was good throughout, and breakfast in particular was a standout

On the other hand, we ran into some issues at checkout. We were charged more for breakfast than the price we’d agreed on via Booking.com, which was frustrating to sort out after the fact. There was also a lack of transparency around the cost of dinner - it came to 400 dirhams, which felt steep for what it was, and the price wasn’t made clear upfront. Worth knowing too they don’t take card at the property, so come with enough cash on hand We should also mention that the rooms don’t stay cool at night - in early September we found it genuinely difficult to sleep in the heat, which is worth knowing if you’re visiting outside the cooler months Beautiful place with standout staff like Abdullah, but be sure to confirm all pricing clearly before you commit, and know what you’re getting into with the heat

Prachtige locatie gelegen in de Todra Kloof. Wij verbleven in de grot kamer die prachtig was ingericht en van alle gemakken is voorzien. De kamer was ook lekker koel. We raden ook zeker aan om hier te dineren! Ontbijt was ook echt geweldig. Wat wij het allerbeste van de locatie vonden waren de super gastvrije heren die hier werken en alles geweldig hebben verzorgd!

De locatie is top! Je kan in het hotel avondeten wat erg lekker is. In de avond wordt er op muziekinstrumenten gespeeld wat voor een gezellige sfeer zorgt. De gastheren zijn super vriendelijk.

Wij sliepen in een grotkamer en deze was erg warm. Er hangt geen airco. Wij hadden de ramen opengezet, maar dit hielp onvoldoende.

トドラ渓谷からさらに奥地に入ったぽつんと一軒家的なホテル。周りは何もありません。ですがこのホテルに何でもあります。 水が豊富に出て感動しました。 食事はこの旅の中で1番よかったです。モロッコ伝統の、というよりはフレンチっぽいアレンジがしてあり、見た目もおしゃれ。モロカンサラダは桃や他の果物も入っていて、爽やかでした。あまりモロッコでさわやかな料理ってないのでよかったです。 部屋は洞窟タイプにしました。雰囲気があってよかったです。

部屋まで遠いですが、宿の人が荷物を持っていってくれました。 夏で部屋にエアコンがなかったのでちょっと暑い気もしましたが、備え付けのミニ扇風機で充分涼を取れました。

Personale giovane, gentile e molto disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Simpaticissimo lo scambio culturale culinario italo-marocchino avuto con la chef. Il personale per me e' stato il must del soggiorno.

Room quite stuffy - kept our dooor open at night. There is an area to bring suitcases down. Staff warn it is slippy, but with small kids I forgot and had a bad fall on tailbone and passed out. They need to replace this with steps. Otherwise beautiful place

Un alojamiento muy bonito ubicado en una garganta bastante sorprendente. El personal muy amable, incluso me lavaron la ropa. La habitación era familiar muy grande y amplia. La cama cómoda y la habitación limpia. La cena cara pero estaba bien (precio hotel). El desayuno típico y muy bueno.

In de grot is erg leuk. Wel iets minder comfort omdat je geen airco hebt. Eten was erg lekker. Locatie is echt fantastisch.

Zwembad is geen zwembad niets om in te dompelen.

De grotkamers zijn prachtig (wel warm dus blower op kamer nodig). De kameleon voor de deur;) en de ligging. Geweldig!!

De grootkamer is bijzonder om een keer te ervaren. Verder ervaar je totale rust en stilte op deze adembenemende plek

Aangezien het complex tegen een bergwand is gebouwd, loop je wat af tussen kamer, restaurant, etc. Maar dat is het zeker ook waard!

Είχε υπέροχη θέα έξω από το δωμάτιο και είναι ωραίο όταν κλείνουν τα φώτα τη νύχτα για να απολαύσεις τα αστέρια! Το πρωινό επίσης ήταν αρκετά καλό.

Swimming pool is more a bath…

Deze auberge is prachtig gelegen in de kloof aan de (droogstaande) rivier. Je rijdt door de bedding om het hotel te bereiken. Het hotel is grotendeels zelfvoorzienend met zonnepanelen, tuinen, wat dieren etc. Erg mooi. We sliepen in drie grotkamers: heel bijzonder en de kamers zijn goed ingericht. Wel is het (zo midden in de zomer) vooral in de avond/nacht best warm in bed. Er is geen airco, maar wel een kleine ventilator. Goed gegeten op het terras van het hoofdgebouw. Zelfs een glas bier kunnen bestellen. We vonden het een mooie en bijzondere locatie. We hebben een mooie wandeling gemaakt naar de top van de kloof, startend ongeveer 3 kilometer van het hotel.

Het zwembad is meer een badkuip. Wij hebben het overgeslagen. Verder geen op- of aanmerkingen

De locatie is prachtig! Heel mooi uitzicht en het hotel is goed onderhouden. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk.

Wij hadden niet helemaal duidelijk dat de kamers geen airco hadden. Dat was even een tegenvaller. In de zomer is dat bijna niet te doen. We hebben de hele nacht alle ramen en deuren open gehad, en toen koelde het gelukkig wel een stuk af. We sliepen niet onder de dekens. De twee persoonskamer had maar 1 stopcontact. Het eten was prima, maar niet heel kindvriendelijk. Er was geen menukaart, je kon kiezen tussen 2 tagines, die de 2 jongste kinderen niet echt lekker vonden. Wij vonden ze wel lekker, maar zou mooi zijn als ze ook iets kunnen maken voor jongere kinderen. Wij hadden ook veel last van vliegen, ik denk dat ze daar ook iets aan moeten doen.

La vue est incroyable,on n'est perdu au milieu de nulle part entouré d'animaux, dépaysement garanti. Nous avons très bien dormi dans la chambre troglodyte qui garde la fraîcheur.

Fantastiskt boende mitt i bergen. Jättefint rum och en liten fin svalkande pool. Personalen gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. Bästa maten vi ätit i Marocko, både middag på kvällen och frukosten! Kunde till o med få ett glas vin 🍷 Rekommenderas varmt

We stayed in the cave room and that was an amazing experience. There is a small pool ( maximum 4 people fit in) which has an amazing view on the mountains and road. The views in general are superb. The only sounds in the morning are the chickens and the goats. The breakfast was typical maroccan a lot of tasty things.

The toad to the riad is steep and has a lot of stones ( be careful with a 'regular' car . We had dinner at the riad which tasted amazing! Only the chicken tajine had one chicken leg...

Wat een prachtige locatie en lieve mensen die ons hebben geholpen. De kamer zag er zelf geweldig uit. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Avondeten was prima.

We begrijpen de hoge scores heel goed. Het is prachtig en lieve mensen. Misschien hebben wij pech gehad met het seizoen maar we werden helemaal gek van de steekvliegen en ander ongedierte. Zowel in het huisje als erbuiten. We hebben hierdoor ook praktisch geen oog dicht gehad. Maar zoals gezegd denk ik dat we gewoon heel veel pech hebben gehad.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The surroundings were stunning, the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return in the future.

The only downside was that there was no Wi-Fi reception in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Een prachtige accommodatie net buiten Aït Ben Haddou. Alles is met veel smaak ingericht en overal zijn sfeervolle zitjes gecreëerd waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen. Het zwembad is fijn en er zijn voldoende ligbedden rondom. Wij konden al vroeg inchecken, wat erg prettig was. Daarnaast waren zowel het diner als het ontbijt wat ons betreft het beste van onze hele rondreis door Marokko. Ook de gastvrijheid viel op. De host en eigenaar dachten actief met ons mee over onze route naar de woestijn de volgende dag. Ze gaven waardevolle tips voor de mooiste route en leuke tussenstops onderweg. Die persoonlijke aandacht maakte ons verblijf extra prettig. Zeker een aanrader!

Het enige kleine minpunt was dat de slaapkamer aan de compacte kant was en de badkamer vrij basic. Dat viel echter in het niet bij alle andere pluspunten van deze accommodatie. De sfeer, gastvrijheid, het heerlijke eten en de prachtige locatie maakten ons verblijf meer dan geslaagd.

Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is simply outstanding. The location is incredible: remote, peaceful, surrounded by dramatic rock formations, with no close neighbours and a real sense of silence and space. It is the kind of place where you can sit on a lounger, look at the canyon, listen to nothing, and then watch the stars at night. For us, this was not just accommodation — it was a full experience. The whole property is extremely tasteful and atmospheric. Compared with many other places in the Todra Gorge area, it feels like a completely different standard. The stone architecture, floors, natural materials, ceramics, candlelit restaurant and beautifully presented food create a style that reminded us more of a refined rural retreat in Mallorca or Corsica than of a simple guesthouse. Everything feels carefully designed, but still natural and connected to the landscape. Dinner was excellent — delicious, beautifully served and with a very special atmosphere. The restaurant in the evening, with candles and the surrounding silence, was one of the highlights of our stay. The whole place seems very well adapted to European tastes, but without losing its local character. It feels authentic, quiet and deeply atmospheric rather than mass-touristic.

The only real thing missing is a proper usable pool. There is a small pool/jacuzzi-like feature, but in our opinion it is not very well located, as it sits near the path to the cave rooms. It is also too small for swimming, not heated, and more decorative than truly functional. It might be pleasant for a quick cool-down in the middle of the day after trekking, but otherwise it does not add much. Honestly, this place would be perfect if that feature were turned into a heated evening jacuzzi for stargazing — that would fit the atmosphere much better. Apart from that, Auberge Le Festival is exceptional. The silence, the views, the tasteful design, the food, the candlelit dinner, the loungers facing the canyon and the possibility of watching the stars in complete darkness made it one of the strongest experiences of our whole Morocco trip. A truly special place. 10/10.

In een woord een uniek hotel op een unieke lokatie. Zeer goed verzorgd ontbijt en diner. Bier en wijn worden er geschonken tegen een zeer schappelijke prijs. Het waren twee hele fijne overnachtingen met een prachtige wandeling met gids.

Helaas is er weinig tot geen bereik in de kloof. Wel was er een klein beetje bereik bij de receptie.

Verkeerd geboekt, daardoor geen grotkamer. Te duur voor gewone kamer. Alles is wel ok, maar niet uitzonderlijk.

This place is deep into the Todra valley, away from all the noise and chaos. The place itself is quite big and spread out. Lots of rooms in different parts of the building. There are some wonderful terraces from where you can enjoy a view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The staff is very kind and available. Rooms are really nice, clean and tidy. Definitely recommend!

Beste accommodatie van onze hele reis met in totaal 10 verschillende overnachtingen in Marokko. De ligging is écht waanzinnig! Kamers zijn ruim, schoon en erg comfortabel. Voor eten hoef je ook de deur niet uit, deze mensen kunnen super goed koken en zorgen goed voor je.

Het is een heel bijzondere plek om te overnachten. Wij hadden de grotkamer en dat was echt heel tof. Diner hier in de avond was het beste wat we hier tot nu toe hebben gehad! Ze zijn heel gastvrij en je komt er echt even helemaal tot rust.

Alles! Het personeel is super vriendelijk. De locatie is magnifique en een grotkamer is zo bijzonder om in te slapen. Er werd een extra bed bijgeplaatst zodat we in 1 kamer konden slapen. Het diner was het beste wat we in Marokko hebben gehad en ook het ontbijt was uitzonderlijk goed. Ik zou graag langer hebben gebleven en ik zou zeker terug willen komen.

Great location away from the tourist crowds in the middle of the gorge

Staff was playing loud music in the kitchen in the afternoon. Not a big issue but not matching with such peaceful property.

Prachtige rustige locatie midden tussen loodrechte wanden van de kloof. Hele aardige mensen. Lekker zwembadje om af te koelen voor onze dochters van 9 en 12 jaar. Schattige kamers. Ik vond het mooier dan op de foto s. Fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen waar ‘s avonds de geiten verzameld worden door de herder. Erg leuk om te zien. In de avond is het heel gezellig omdat ze na het eten de trommels erbij pakken.

Mooie plek net voorbij de kloof. De kamers zijn ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima diner en ook een erg goed ontbijt. Personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam.

De locatie was echt magisch. Ontzettend mooie en unieke locatie in de kloof. Prachtig uitzicht en heel vriendelijk personeel. Volledig zelfvoorzienend. Het avondeten was heerlijk, prachtig en romantisch met veel kaarslicht. Ook het ontbijt was super! Het slapen in de grot was een unieke ervaring voor ons en onze jonge kinderen.

Wat een toplocatie! Heerlijk door de droge rivierbedding gelopen met uitzicht op de rotsen van de kloof. S'avonds sfeervol gedineert bij kaarslicht en met een glaasje wijn (met mouse au chocolat toe). S'ochtends wakker worden met zo veel vogelgefluit en af en toe een ezel die door de rivierbedding liep. Aardige jongens van het personeel ook die hielpen met de lekke band.

Het was iets duurder en alle kamers lagen ver uit elkaar.

Geweldig!! Lekkerste eten, leukste personeel en heerlijk rustig! Prachtige kamer met fijne bedden en douche! Een fijne plek om tot rust te komen en de todra kloof te ontdekken.

We stayed one night as we wanted to see the Todra Gorge sights. An interesting accommodation, good room and great view from the small balcony. We didn't have a dinner there, so can't comment on that. Breakfast was ok.

This is a fairly remote, off-the-grid auberge, which is essentially located within the Todra Gorge. The fact that there's spot WiFi only available near the reception desk is actually a big plus, because it forces you to have a bit of a digital detox, and instead sit on one of the many, many terraces and watch the goat herders and contemplate the astonishing views. Excellent dinner served by candlelight. Book early, because it fills up months ahead.

The pool wasn't very inviting, seems like it's just there to check a box on the search criteria.

Ongelooflijk gelegen in midden van de Todra kloof. In een grot geslapen; dat was een hele leuke ervaring. Alles met detail gemaakt. Eten was fantastisch. De mensen hebben 's avonds nog life muziek gespeeld voor ons.

This hotel is set a little further up from the gorge but so worth the extra few minutes. It’s situated with the best view! Dinner is served promptly at 7 with all the guests eating at the same time and they even gave us a bonus drum performance. The hotel is cozy and clean and the food delicious!! They even have rooms built into the caves!

De perfecte locatie om in de kloof te overnachten, ver weg van de toeristisch drukte. Vriendelijk personeel en we hebben hier super heerlijk gegeten! Ook het ontbijt was zeer goed verzorgd! Parkeren kan bij de locatie, de weg af en dan de rivierbedding inrijden en daarna weer naar boven naar de accommodatie. We hadden tevens een kamer met balkon met uitzicht op de kloof en de rivierbedding.

Wat een prachtige plek en geweldig uitzicht vanaf het terras bij onze kamer. Ook de ontvangst was gastvrij, warm en hartelijk. Een hele fijne plek.

The room was cold the first night and even though they made us a fire, it was quite stuffy with the fire in the room but we knew going into it that it was an older, stone building and it’s part of the experience.

Pourquoi ces établissements n’utilisent pas Starlink car les collections Internet sont extrêmement faibles et bien sûr inexistante dans les chambres troglodytes . Cela permet aussi de faire un break avec l’Internet.

De ligging in de Todra gorge is betoverend mooi. Wij hadden een mooie, sfeervolle kamer met een eigen terras. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Wij voelden ons meteen thuis op deze geweldige plek. De eetruimte is zeer gezellig en het eten is voortreffelijk. Wij zijn op alle vlakken tevreden. Het is een plek om naar terug te keren.

Bij aankomst niet super hartelijk ontvangen. We komen binnen en er zitten meerdere personeelsleden gewoon te staren naar je zonder iets te zeggen. Enkele uren later wel vriendelijker.
