Hiç bir şey. Tek kelimeyle berbattı. Nothing
The room was dirty and everything was broken. The towels were worn and soiled. When we asked them to change the towels, they charged us extra. The heater in the bathroom wasn't working, the water was cold, and the pressure was very low. The staff were indifferent to customer service.
The beds
Fridge lead too short to plug in and turn on and kitchen and bathroom needs updating
Overall great value for money but next time pls check the outlets.
Some of the outlets were defective.
Gute Lage am Port, bequemes Bett, günstig

Everything was good, they only forgot to give us towels

Got the quiet room I requested.
Better if rhere was a water dispenser on the third floor.
Room we got is large. The location is easy to locate and has restos just walking distance away.
None that i can recall.
The location is good near the pier and cheap.
Facilities are great but unhygienic, it wasn't cleaned and i find it dirty. Honestly and by far, this is my worst hotel booking. Maybe staff are underpaid or the owner doesn't check that's why the CR is quite gross. My observation is that the lady staff highly entertains male guests.
I did not expect that my room would have a rice cooker, an electric heater, a microwave oven, and a dish rack with more than enough utensils for me. It was awesome. And the murals were amazing. The place is so artsy. I love the vibe. And it's just walking distance from Silliman and other eateries.
None. I love the place.
Love the space, it so big. And has a vanity area.
early checkout at 11am huhu but everything was worth the price.
The shower handle needs cleaning, but that was the only thing
Very nice, homely atmosphere and great staff
Accidentally charged double for lunch, I mentioned it but it was not fixed.. But like I said, Im sure it was an accident🙏
Perfect location. Can easily walk to the key places - Silliman, Rizal Blvd and restaurants. Staff members were also very helpful. We were able to leave our things in the lobby as we arived earlier than check-in time. You can order food, and there are basic amenities available for sale.
I wish there were tableware (cups and saucers) in the double room, like in the family room.
Near the airport and port.
Comfort room - shower head is dirty, flooring has discoloration. The television is hard to use - cannot connect in Netflix.

The size and layout of the room.
A few minor repairs were needed in our room such as the sliding lock on the door.
What did you like? I’ll give credit where it’s due: the physical property of Luis Miguel’s is lovely, and the rooms themselves are quite nice—which is exactly why it’s such a shame my family didn't actually get to stay in all the ones I paid for. The aesthetic is great, it’s just the math and the ethics that seem to be a bit "off" here. I booked and paid for three rooms to ensure my family of six had enough space to breathe. Upon check-in, I was informed that despite my confirmed booking and payment, they only had two rooms available. Their "solution" was to squeeze us into those two rooms with extra beds. While the extra beds were a nice gesture for a mistake they caused, they aren't a substitute for the entire third room I already paid for. It’s a bit of a backhanded "upgrade" - being told you're getting a solution while the hotel quietly keeps the money for a room they never provided. It’s disappointing because the staff is pleasant enough, but pleasantness doesn't pay for a room that doesn't exist. If you’re looking for a place that looks great in photos but might struggle with the basic concept of "giving you what you paid for," this is the spot. I’m still waiting for management to find their conscience (and my refund) for the missing room.
I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel I have no choice after my family’s experience at Luis Miguel’s. We traveled as a family of six and, wanting everyone to be comfortable, I specifically booked and prepaid for three separate rooms. Upon arrival, we were told that the three rooms we paid for weren't available. Instead of honoring our booking, the staff placed us into just two rooms and threw in a couple of extra beds as a "fix." Here is the part that truly hurts: Despite physically taking away an entire room that I worked hard to pay for, the hotel has offered zero compensation or refund for the missing room. As a parent, you plan these trips to be seamless and restful. Instead, we spent our stay cramped and feeling taken advantage of. It’s one thing to have a booking error; it’s another thing entirely to keep a guest's money for a service you failed to provide. It feels less like a hospitality mistake and more like we were intentionally overcharged. I chose Luis Miguel’s because I trusted the name, but leaving with a lighter wallet and a cramped family feels incredibly dishonest. I truly hope management does the right thing and reaches out to settle the overpayment for the room we never received. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here if you value getting what you actually pay for.
We arrived very early morning & the staff was accommodating. Just what we needed - quiet cozy place to sleep & rest before our trip to Siquijor. Their restaurant was very convenient.
Comfortabel , grote 4 persoonskamer , vriendelijk personeel
Clean and nice
Alles ok
Location.
Dirty bathroom, dirty and smelly bedsheets and blanket
room size
water pressure is low, internet is not good never connected during our stay and lock in main door of our room is not secured.no double lock.
Very clean and kind staff

Room was moderately clean, that was about it.
The ownership. We had booked for 3 nights for my fiancés father to come get screened for cancer at the hospital there, and a typhoon hit and we were unable to come. I had asked if we could potentially get even a half refund for the day since we wouldn’t make it, and was outright refused. They weren’t accommodating at all towards the travel obstacles, and though, it’s not their job to be, it still rubbed me the wrong way.
El trato del personal
Super accomodating ang owner and staff, madaming food resto sa area and malapit sa port
Cleanliness and location.
Low water pressure in the shower.
One of the best places I have stayed in Dumaguete. The room was well appointed with a fridge, microwave, rice cooker and a great Aircon unit. The bed sheets we so soft and the place was very clean. Well done!
Nothing.
Place is near the port. Very accommodating staff. Spacious room
No lift for heavy luggage but staff are very helpful
Great room, very nice staff. I wanted to stay longer but they were booked out. The only small issue is if you are over 6ft your feet might be a little cramped against the end of the bed. It was a solid 9/10. Highly recommended.
Great value for money especially if you’re just looking for a temporary place to stay while waiting for your ferry rode to Siquijor
No elevator
Perfect for one night stay before taking the ferry in the morning
Nice room, good wifi, good location
Staff was very moody
Hospitalité owner Juan wife Mary great people help you all The time
No micowage for food
Location is Great, room well designed and clean, they serve fantastico Coffee in french press! Restaurant has extremely reasonable prices and good quality food.
okay . location and staff behaviour
staff response
The room was clean, comfortable, functional, and spacious, and it was really nice to have the desk and kitchenet. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is safe and walkable to restaurants and a coffee shop.
Spacious and clean room. Good location and value for the money
Booked a deluxe room and was given a budget room. When our ac broke down, they "uprgade" us to deluxe room. And then we realised that they have given us a wrong room in the check in. When we told them about this issue, they just said that we were wrong and you have booked a budget room. When i showed my booking reservation, they didn't say anything and just walked away. And in their Booking reservation, they have free airport transfer, but that is false
It was nice i like that place
They didn't let me cook in there they have to make the same all room for cooking there it will be more better and people will love it to vist and stay If they can cook anything in there for themselves
The Location ist very good , staff is friendly , the room is clean and the room rate is affordable
Nothing , its all good For the price
The space is big and the wifi decent
There’s some problem with the water pressure in the shower
Super nice place! The staffs were very friendly and accommodating.
It’s just kind of weird that you will pass through the resto first before the actual room lol
Everything was perfect and the restaurant has great food as well! I took a trike from the ferry port but could have easily walked to the hotel in less than 10 minutes.
The staff at this little boutique hotel was very friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious and had good facilities. I will stay here again next time.
Great staff, location provide good access to public transportation and restaurants; the bed comfortable - wake me up and room clean.
No elevator, no closet.
the owner is very responsive as well as the staff. tje place is great. all our needs was met
Location is near to Silliman University.

The location is the only thing good about this place
Front desk staff, especially Maria, was very unhelpful. Her way of checking me in is by pointing at a form and telling me what to write, no hi or hello. Wifi didn’t work when I got to the room and phone reception is POOR TO NONEXISTENT inside the room. I asked her if they could reset their routers because I couldn’t even use mobile data in my room. All she did was tell me that 1) the wifi must have been reset that morning, because they usually do that in the morning and that she works a night shift (we were talking in the afternoon, so what is she even talking about?), 2) they need to ask the owner for permission to reset the wifi, and 3) they need to ask for the guest in another unit for permission to reset the wifi. I told them resetting the wifi wouldn’t block everyone from logging back in, but she just said she still needed to ask for permission from another guest who was not even in their unit that day. Maria also told me that her phone also doesn’t have cell reception and that her wifi connection is also poor, and then proceeded to stir her drink and eat in front of me while she watched Youtube videos/Facebook reels on her phone, completely ignoring me when I was seated in front of her. What kind of customer service is that??? I had to get in touch with Booking.com Customer Support to get this sorted because there was no one else at the front desk to offer help. Booking.com was able to speak with them about the reception issues and the unfriendly staff and they told Booking.com they’ll get it sorted, but no one from the staff came over to reach out to share if their issue’s been resolved. Honestly, shittiest service I’ve had in Dumaguete. While the room is as advertised, beware of the toilet! There’s a reason it’s not included in the pictures. Their shower curtains and bidets are moldy. The toilet floor was wet when I arrived. The water pressure is inconsistent and laughable. Overall, I am only happy that I get to stay here for just 1 night.
-Very accessible and decent furniture. Everything worked as expected. -Staffs were very kind and welcoming
-Bathroom door was hard to close and had gaps because it was folding. -Wifi was okay but understandable because it’s in the province
Nice clean room, looked welcoming. Aircon worked well. Location was good. Easy walk to the town and other places to eat.
Restaurant was a little pricey for the portions you received. Ended up eating else where after ordering food and received 1/8 of a potato, I strand of capsicum and 2 small pieces of chicken in a curry chicken I ordered.
The breakfast was great especially the coffee. And as for the location, it is located in a less noisy and crowded street yet close from downtown, so I could say that it's the best location to settle with.
powerful air con, comfyish bed, decent storage space for clothes.
where do I start? Management were hostile, only one cleaner ever spoke to us. I asked for a blanket for the bed as there was only a sheet and was told I would have to pay for it, the rooms would only be cleaned after two nights of staying there which meant bathroom waste sitting in the bin for two days, the rooms are above a restaurant which hosted extremely loud parties with guests often running up and down the corridors outside of the room at all hours, although not the hotels fault, the building next door was under construction and noise started at 8am every morning. It would have been nice to have been told that and maybe offered complimentary ear plugs or just a ‘sorry for the inconvenience’. The room smelled damp and musty and the furniture was out dated. My girlfriend and I did not feel welcomed at all and felt uncomfortable every time we had to pass through the restaurant (the only exit) as the manageress was extremely rude. Very disappointing stay, unsure why this establishment has been rated so highly previously.
The location was central to everything. We arrived from the seaport, which was 5 minutes from Luis Miguel. When we left Dumaguete to Manila, Sibulan Airport was just 10 minutes away. We had our meals downstairs at Pitchina's Kitchen (host owns the restaurant cafe also) - so convenient! And then we took a walk to the Boulevard (walkable distance) and bought some Sans Rival and some other stuff. The room was spacious and comfy. The air conditioner worked too well. had to turn it off sometimes, opened the window, and enjoyed the fresh air. The bed was not at all stiff, which is always my problem when travelling. Amenities were complete, with extra things too! I didnt expect much, but I was wonderfully surprised. For the price range, Luis Miguel sets the bar really high. It is better than a lot of the hotels I've stayed in that charged me 2x or 3x the price in the Philippines. I am from the US, and let me just say, hotels here charge 10x more than this, yet they suck lol
I should have planned my stay in Dumaguete to be longer had I known my accommodation was going to be this good. I really felt at home - getting my food downstairs, sending my laundry next door, exploring the city, hanging out while drinking smoothies and working with my laptop at the restaurant. Will definitely come back.
