Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Die Lage und das Personal ist toll. Die Natur rund rum ist toll. Ein kleines nettes Hotel auf dem Berg. Der Weg dahin ist alleine schon super schön.
Der Preis ist ehrlich gesagt recht hoch, sicher zahlt man für die Lage aber günstig ist was andres.

Perhaps the mattresses in the main bedroom need to be replaced.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Beautiful property, lovely hosts. A fabulous breakfast! Great view out large full windows all around, with very effective blackout curtains when you want them. And despite a heat wave, room cooled off in the night.
It is right beside a church and we stayed on a Saturday night. The church bells chime 1,2,or 3 times every 15 minutes, but multiple times when there is a service. I counted.....7 am they rang 225 times in succession. So, don't plan to sleep in on a Sunday morning!

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Le personnel est très accueillant, attentif et d’une grande gentillesse. La chambre était grande et la vue top. La localisation de l hôtel en altitude avec vue sur Lucerne était parfaite. Très bon restaurant.
Il faisait très chaud la nuit ou nous y étions et un ventilateur ou climatiseur ont manqué. De même un petit mini bar aurait été appréciable pour garder les bouteilles d eau au frais.

Niente minibar in camera che avrebbe fatto comodo per tenere al fresco alcune cose personali. Cena molto cara anche rispetto ai costi del luogo.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Το πρωινό ήταν πολύ καλό. Η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική εάν θες να μην είσαι μέσα στην πόλη , όπως εμείς. Η θέα είναι καταπληκτική, η εκκλησία δε που είναι δίπλα, αξίζει μία επίσκεψη! Είναι πανέμορφη και πολύ στολισμένη. Ήταν εξαιρετική επιλογή για μας!

Manque un mini bar dans la chambre. Pas suffisamment de lumière dans la chambre (manque un plafonnier et/ou une lampe de bureau. Il y aurait largement la place de rajouter un meuble dans la salle de bain pour y poser ses affaires (vêtements, produits de beauté). Il n'y a jamais assez d'étagères et de patères !

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025L'hôtel est très beau magnifiquement décoré pour Noël. Le personnel est adorables et à l'écoute. Nous avons très bien mangé, les plats étaient fins et délicieux. Et que dire de la vue splendide depuis notre chambre. Nous allons y retourner à coup-sur !
Les oreillers trop mous pour nous. C'est l'unique chose que je changerai en donnant un autre choix par exemple

Reviewed Jul 15, 2025Beautiful cozy hotel with amazing hosts. They made sure my family and I felt super welcomed all through out our stay. This place is 10 to 15 min from the main Luzerne city center - on a serene hill with great views.
There’s a lovely old church nearby that really adds to the charm of the area with its serene, almost heavenly presence. One thing to note: the church bell rings every hour, even at night. It’s part of the local character, but if you’re a light sleeper or not used to it, you might want to bring earplugs just in case.

Reviewed May 5, 2025Die Gastgebern waren super freundlich und haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Die Lage ist sehr schön, das Gasthaus auch, alles sehr Naturnah. Die Zimmer und WC/Dusche waren ausserordentlich sauber, gross genug und sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück auch sehr, sehr fein!

It was about a 25 minutes drive from the Old Town of Luzern. The plug sockets are not typical EU shape so you need universal adaptors. The evening menu seemed quite expensive for what it was. We ate in Luzern

Zimmer wurde uns als Doppelzimmer verkauft. Mit Bett 1.60 Meter und zwei grossen Decken definitiv zu klein. Ist ein schönes Einzelzimmer aber kein Doppelzimmer!

Reviewed Oct 10, 2023Great location. Beautiful surroundings and view. Staff was great. Restaurant onsite is good but pricey. In general on our trip trough Switzerland the dinners were not memorable and cost significantly more than New York City.
It would be cool if they told you in advance what they were going to charge you for breakfast here. It was good but up there from a price point. Not sorry we did it but if you book here keep it in mind.

Restaurant is also very good quality, we enjoyed a nice dinner. Hope to be able to visit them again and stay longer.

Personnel adorable (ambiance intimiste avec seulement 5 chambres), certains parlant français ce qui est rare dans la région. Le restaurant vaut le détour (raffiné et copieux), de nombreux Lucernois y font le déplacement (on n’y vient pas par hasard)

Most importantly the staff are amazing!! this is a family run hotel and you feel welcome and relaxed. We strongly recommend the restaurant, the food and the service is exceptional. also, you have to visit the chapel, it’s stunningly beautiful
