Un soggiorno meraviglioso: ci siamo sentiti trattati come dei re! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti a Medellín e siamo stati benissimo. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati: un’ospitalità davvero rara, fatta di gentilezza, disponibilità e tante attenzioni che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Ci hanno permesso di entrare già in tarda mattinata, all’orario di cui avevamo bisogno, così abbiamo potuto lasciare gli zaini e sistemare le nostre cose senza dover aspettare. Anche per il check-out sono stati disponibilissimi, lasciandoci la massima libertà sull’orario. Alla fine abbiamo lasciato la camera alle 12 e abbiamo potuto lasciare tranquillamente gli zaini in reception, cosa comodissima per goderci ancora Medellín. Un’altra attenzione che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo è stata la possibilità di utilizzare la carta della metro fornita dall’hotel: non abbiamo dovuto acquistarla, ma solamente ricaricarla. Un piccolo dettaglio, ma davvero utile per chi visita la città. La colazione è super, l’ambiente è incredibile e l’ambientazione, con gli alberi all’interno, dà davvero la sensazione di trovarsi dentro una foresta. Un posto particolare, curato e con un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire subito bene. La reception è attiva 24 ore su 24 e tutto il personale è stato squisito: gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare. Si sono anche messi con noi a spiegarci cosa vedere a Medellín, dove andare e come organizzarci, con consigli preziosi e tanta voglia di farci vivere al meglio la città. La posizione è comodissima: vicina al centro turistico, a El Poblado e Provenza, e a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metro. Consigliatissimo! Se torneremo a Medellín, sarà sicuramente una delle nostre prime scelte. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff per averci fatto sentire così bene! ❤️

L endroit est super bien situé, à qques minutes en voiture de l aéroport Olaya Herrera. Impossible d imaginer ce qui se cache à l intérieur. Il y a vraiment un effet "WOW" ! Et pour couronner le tout, l acceuil a été sans aucun doute EXCEPTIONNEL. Je me suis sentie chez moi dès mon arrivée. Les sourires étaient généreux et honnêtes. Et que dire du petit déjeuner qui était vraiment un pure délice ! Je me suis régalée ! J y retournerais avec grand plaisir !! (Ah et aussi, à 20 mètres de là il y a un petit magasin pour acheter à boire ou à grignoter et en face de l Hôtel il y a plusieurs restaurants.)

Este lugar si que tiene un concepto, es súper bonito y además súper cómodo en todos los sentidos. La ubicación es muy buena, las camas son cómodas y las áreas comunes son excepcionales. El desayuno es buenisimo y la atención por parte del staff es increíble. Sin duda lo recomendaría mil veces

Despite being in a hectic, frenetic part of town, Refugio del Jaguar was like a sanctuary. Everything was calm bit welcoming. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Amabilidad y céntrico. Te hacen sentir como si fuera tu casa, el mejor alojamiento de Colombia. Si te gusta la decoración indígena, este es tu lugar.

The desk staff are SO friendly and helpful, they really went above and beyond when my friend experienced a stressful issue in the streets of Medellin to ensure that we were comfortable, that the matter was taken care of and that we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The cooked breakfast every morning was delicious, the rooms are clean, cool and comfortable, the hotel itself is spacious and verdant where we got chatting to lots of other travellers during our stay. Cheaper than a hostel dormitory bed - What amazing value!!

None of the rooms have windows, but this is made very clear from the listing, and it didn’t impact our stay at all - in fact it does mean you can sleep right through if you wish! The huge, green hang out spaces are much nicer for chilling and planning your next move anyway.

No hay aire acondicionado, el desayuno mejorable y en las habitaciones se escucha absolutamente todo, realmente hay mucho ruido y no de fuera sino de propios huéspedes en las zonas comunes, deja que desear por el precio

So eine nette und saubere Unterkunft. Äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, wir fühlen uns wie bei Freunden, auch das Frühstück hat uns geschmeckt. Einen Rucksack konnten wir für eine Woche deponieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke!

El personal es muy agradable. Puedes hacer uso de las salas comunes y hay juegos que se pueden utilizar. Destacamos el desayuno que cambia cada día y es súper completo. Café, infusiones y nevera con agua que se pueden tomar a cualquier hora. Muy buena ubicación. Adicionalmente, ofrecen tours con compañías externas.

Het personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam en ook echt geïnteresseerd in wat je hebt gedaan of wil doen in Medellin. De gezamenlijke ruimtes zijn ruim van opzet met veel fijne plekjes om te te relaxen of te werken. De aankleding is zeer mooi, de jaguar stijl is helemaal doorgetrokken, maar toch veel rust. We kregen een gratis upgrade van 1 kamer voor 4 personen naar 2 kamers voor 2 personen. Het is vlakbij de goede restaurants in El Poblado en dicht bij de metro.

Personal encantador, et trobes com a casa i t’ajuden en tot el que necessites. Habitacions netes i amples, tot i n tenir finestres no tens sensació de tancat. L’hostal és molt bonic i molt ben cuidat a una zona amb moltes opcions al voltant.

Il soggiorno perfetto, hotel affascinante, curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Nel cuore del Barrio El Poblado, una delle zone dove è meglio soggiornare. Hanno tutti i servizi, lavanderia in due ore, deposito bagagli, ecc. Il personale è meraviglioso, attento al cliente e premuroso. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa e ci hanno spiegato tantissime cose della città. La colazione è tipica colombiana preparata al momento, veramente deliziosa. Se dovessi tornare a Medellin non avrei dubbi su dove soggiornare ❤

The staff were so accommodating and friendly that made my stay very relaxing. The location is perfect, closed to restaurants/cafes/bars…but far enough so it’s not too noisy for the night. Breakfast is plenty and delicious.

Am besten hatten wir die Ausstattung gefallen. Es ist alles so liebevoll und künstlerisch gestaltet. Alles fügt sich harmonisch zusammen. Jetzt Zentrale Aufenthaltsraum mit dem Hängematten, Schaukelstuhl oder Bibliothek ist wie das Wohnzimmer daheim. So wohl fühlt man sich. Auch die Lage ist perfekt. Alle waren sehr freundlich und haben mir bei allen Anfragen weiter geholfen. Auch sprechen sie gut englisch an der Rezeption, die immer besetzt war. Ich komme gerne wieder. Kann ich sehr empfehlen

If it weren’t for the staff, I’d be giving this an 8. They all spoke English, extremely helpful. Nice hearty breakfast. Rooms cleaned daily. Big hot shower. Across the street from Parque Poblado, very handy location. Very conscious of environmental impact. Nice seating areas, hammocks.

No windows in property, very dark, no ventilation except for fan. You can’t read by the bedside lamps.

I stayed 3 nights at Refugio del Jaguar in Medellín and ended up extending my stay because I really felt good there. A special thanks to all the Samuels and José 😄 All the guys working there were always super helpful, attentive and genuinely caring to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my time. The place has a very unique atmosphere, perfect if you want to feel surrounded by nature and jungle vibes while still being in Medellín. Definitely recommended. 🐆

The really beautiful hotel with so many small and larger items that reminds of the Jaguar and nature. Soo many plants inside. The peace and relaxing feeling you get inside even being in a big city with a lot of traffic. And restaurants, bars, coffee places close by. Transportation a lot different ways to see the city.

The Refugio del Jaguar is a wonderful place to stay. It has been created with an eye to detail, both the public areas and the rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and breakfast is a treat! I have no hesitation in recommending the Refugio, you will love it!

Heel speciale, leuke locatie met heel vriendelijk personeel die steeds klaar staan met tips. Zeer proper en netjes. Goede locatie dicht bij lekkere restaurants. (Te voet bereikbaar)Ook de metro is dicht bij. Er zijn geen ramen in de kamers, maar dit heeft ons niet gestoord. Binnen is er een patio waar je kan zitten, liggen, rusten. Er staat steeds koffie en thee en water dat je mag nemen. Lekker ontbijt. Wij gingen een nachtje naar Guatapé en mochten onze bagage daar laten.

Het is erg warm op de kamer. Er is een ventilator, maar deze maakt heel veel lawaai zodat je hem s'nachts niet kan opzetten.

This is an amazing hotel!! Firstly the location is great, and the hotel feels super safe with a 24/7 front desk and a lock on the front door. The interior of the hotel is beautiful with lots of relaxation/social space. There was also great WiFi, and a wonderful hot shower. The 2 best things about the hotel were: 1) the free breakfast was delicious!! 2) the staff!!!! They were all so so kind and helpful and smiley and really made our stay special. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone :)
