The hospitality and kindness of the staff, especially Elena, the boss of the hotel who gave me lots of tipps, arranged the contact to the diving school I did 3 dives with finally, and helped me with my luggage in the beginning and in the end.

Breakfast could have been a bit more with a wider variety of food especially if you are coming a bit late, but I was offered an omelette additionally instead each day, which was really tasty!

Hotel e’ una bella struttura situata su più piani. La mia camera , al piano terra come avevo richiesto, e’ arredata con gusto, spaziosa , confortevole . Ma ciò che rende indimenticabile il soggiorno è la presenza di Elena che si prende cura dei clienti già dalla prenotazione con preziosi consigli per come raggiungere l’isola fino all’organizzazione di splendide escursioni per scoprire le meraviglie del mare .

Perfekte Vorabkommunikation bzgl. Anreise. Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr sauber und geräumig. Minibar vorhanden. Elena hat sehr kurzfristig einen wunderbaren Schnorchelausflug für uns organisiert.

Das Bad hatte einige Schwachstellen, z.B. Po-Dusche tropfte durchgehend. In der Dusche selbst fehlte eine Deckenplatte und der Abflussdeckel war extrem verkalkt. Nur ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Als Taucher wäre es schön, wenn das Frühstück bereits ab 7 stattfinden würde, da man sonst nur 15 Minuten Zeit hat. Und ein Frühstück to Go am Abreisetag (Speedboat um 7.15) wäre ein netter Service, da ma sonst gezwungen ist, in Male am Flughafen für viel Geld zu essen.

Rosy Villa was the perfect place to stay. Our room had everything we needed: excellent air conditioning, a hair dryer, beach towels, a great shower, and plenty of space. We loved having both a small side balcony and a front terrace overlooking the pool. Housekeeping kept the room spotless every single day. The communal area downstairs was a lovely place to relax in the evenings and play games. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The location couldn’t be better, with great restaurants and cafés nearby, and the beautiful bikini beach is a short walk away, allowing you to see more of Guraidhoo along the way. The beach itself is stunning, and the sandbank that stretches far out into the sea is unforgettable. The real stars of Rosy Villa are Elena and the rest of the team. From the moment we arrived and were met at the port to when we left, everyone was consistently polite, friendly, and helpful, but Elena went above and beyond in every possible way. Her local knowledge and connections made our holiday extra special. Thanks to her, we enjoyed an incredible day trip where we saw dolphins, swam with turtles, snorkelled an amazing reef, and had lunch on a private island. All the equipment we needed was provided and at the end we were given stunning underwater photos and videos after the trip. So many bucket list items ticked off in one trip! We would not hesitate to recommend Rosy Villa and hope we get to return soon.

Se encargaron de la reserva del speedboat, nos indicaron todo mal, la reserva no estaba bien hecha, por lo que perdimos medio día tirados en Male. Intenté contactar con el alojamiento sin éxito, por lo que nos buscamos la vida con el personal del puerto para poder llegar. La habitación daba a un mini patio interior donde estaban colocados los dispositivos del aire acondicionado, el ruido es insoportable. No hacen limpieza de habitación ni cambio de toallas día a día.

Elena estuvo pendiente todo el tiempo. Nos ayudó con varios contratiempos durante el viaje.

Wir ernähren uns beide vegetarisch und darauf wurde von Elena, der Managerin, nicht so positiv reagiert als gäbe es nur Gerichte mit Fleisch oder Fisch. Das haben wir nicht verstanden, weil es gab ja Pancakes, Toast oder Nudeln mit Gemüse. Am Ende konnte es aber mit dem Koch gut geklärt werden. Die erste Nacht funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, wir konnten dann aber das Zimmer wechseln. Das ging allerdings auch nur, weil es nicht ausgebucht war, da wir in der Nebensaison dort waren. Wir haben mehrere Ausflüge über Elena gebucht und hatten dabei eine mittelgute Erfahrung. Es wurde nicht kommuniziert, wenn sich Dinge verändert haben. Beispielsweise wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass eine andere Person am Ausflug teilnimmt und sich deswegen die Abfahrtszeit verändert hat. Es wurde gesagt, es gibt Drohnenaufnahmen, aber dann gab es doch keine. Es wurde ein Preis gesagt, der am Ende doch anders war und in einer Diskussion endet. Und es wurden Fotos gemacht, die mir nie gesendet wurden. Wir waren im Juli dort und ich habe sie immer noch nicht bekommen. Elena begründete das damit, dass ihr Handy kaputt gegangen sei, aber da jetzt einige Monate vergangen sind, finde ich das keinen akzeptablen Grund mehr. Wir haben im Endeffekt ja auch nur den Ausflug über sie gemacht, weil sie beispielsweise Fotos als Paket mitangeboten hat.

El personal del hotel muy atento, te ayudaban absolutamente en todo lo que hiciera falta. La ubicación genial, cerca de la bikini beach y del puerto. Una experiencia para repetir.

That night A/C stopped working and wasn’t able to sleep well. Staffs tried to fix it but no solution. There were no option for room change, unpleasant experience at a nice hotel.

This was truly the stay of a lifetime! The experience was beyond perfect, thanks to Hassan, the incredible owner, who went above and beyond to make everything unforgettable. He helped my fiancé plan the most beautiful proposal, and I can’t thank him enough for being such a thoughtful, kind-hearted person — truly one of a kind! Hassan also organized an extraordinary excursion that will forever remain etched in my memory. It was breathtaking, seamless, and absolutely magical. The girls at the property were also amazing — so helpful, warm, and attentive. They made us feel right at home and ensured every little detail was taken care of. Location was fine, nice and quiet. Room was ok nice and clean but the bed was really uncomfortable, no privacy on the balcony as the room next door looked straight onto you and into your bathroom, I asked to move rooms but was told not allowed as hotel was full, which was not true with the top two rooms free the whole time. Breakfast was the worse breakfast I have experienced ever, I was told I could not take food up to my husband from the breakfast as this was room service, I explained my husband was ill and that I would bring the plate straight back. In the end they allowed me too, to my surprise I noticed when the cleaners where cleaner another room they brought out plates and cups from the restaurant, seems one rule for some guest than others. The hairdryer in the bathroom set on fire while trying to use it, I told the reception staff.

I have been scammed about the facilities

A warm and excellent welcome from a more than helpful and friendly staff. The manager has done everything about what is around the booking: speedboat booking, general information, activities, ... A nice breakfast, simple but sound and complete. The restaurant is of the same value, always good to have dinner on the premises, when you're tired after a long day of sea activities and marine excursions. Nice swimming pool.

Very central on the island. It wasn't a problem, but you won't find the breathtaking views on the sea. Small and secluded island, which is a plus or a downside depending on what you seek.

Clean and nice rooms, spacious with a balcony and poolview ..always fresh towels and drinking water. The staff is very kind, try also some local food.. Also recommended all the trips I made with Rosyvilla..lots of cheerful and unbelieveable adventures

Lulu from reception really took good care. She organized a speedboat to get to the island and back to the airport. The ac was working. Everything in general was good organized. We enjoyed our stay in rosy villa and did snorkeling trips. The island is well kept and there are some restaurants.

More fruits for breakfast

After my previous hotel has let me down when they the room I booked wasn't available, I went to Rosy Villa and asked for a room on the spot. The hotel turned out to be very nice, clean and quiet. I had everything I needed in the room, the internet worked well, the owner and staff were super friendly and helped to organise excursions and ferry back to the airport.Breakfast was plentiful although the same every morning. I can recommend Rosy Villa.

There was good view in front of pool.

The room was normal but you can't open your curtains because in one of the windows you could see the neighbor’s balcony, and from the other window you could see the hotel balcony and there the staff were walking or cleaning. The shower head and toilet rim were broken. It was impossible to find staff at the hotel to ask anything, only they were there in the morning. Breakfast was always served late. They didn’t have lunches or anything else, they said that it was not the season for us, although they had employees in the kitchen. There are a lot of mosquitos in the hotel and hotel's staff very rarely turned on the fan.

Rosy Villa was definitely the most beautiful hotel on the island. During our stay, all stuff did their best for our comfort and happiness. Especially Lulu made us feel as if we were at home, as if we were in our country, they did everything in their power to make us happy and they made us leave there with amazing memories. Other employees were very friendly and courteous. In addition, Lulu made incredible discounts for the days we stayed there, except for our reservation, and we always stayed at Rosy Villa as long as we stayed on the island. We have stayed in many hotels until now, but we have not met anyone with such a benevolent heart, especially Lulu and the owner of the hotel, Hasan. When we returned to Male, Hasan helped us a lot there as well. We were amazed by the kindness and character of everyone we met at this hotel. We miss Rosy Villa and Lulu so much already. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Hoping to come back again one day. I will keep you as an amazing memory in the most beautiful place of my heart ❤️

1. Communication: we tried to get in contact with the property via Booking messages and calling and no one answered. Any request we made was answered. They gave us a WhatsApp number but they don't answer either. So good luck if you need anything from them. 2. Pick up at the port: since they haven't cared about us since the beginning, even though we communicated the arrival time, no one came to pick us up and helped us with our bags, which is typical in the Maldives. 3. Check-in: at the time of the payment the woman in the front desk tried to charge us more for paying in MVR. Applying an exchange rate of 17 MVR for every 1 USD, which is totally unacceptable. After arguing with her, she finally accepted 14,42 MVR. 4. Reception 24/7: is a lie. The woman that is supposed to be there is only there when she is having breakfast or lunch. Then, when complained she excused herself saying that she needed to take breaks or that she was not supposed to be on duty. This was not a separé event, this happened during the 4 days we stayed there. So we felt lonely and that no one cared about us. 5. Breakfast: the food is average and always the same. If you are planning to dive early in the morning (8am) forget about being able to have breakfast. We only could have breakfast 2 out of the 4 days we stayed there. The staff serving breakfast is really rude and unprofessional. One day after diving, at 9:50am (the breakfast closes at 10am) even though they saw us starting to have some food, they started removing what was left in our faces and not even asking if we wanted something else. We had to show the time on our phone to prove it wasn't 10am already, after the guy said the breakfast was closed. On top of that, next to the food there were lots of ants entering through the kitchen window, which is very unhygienic.

The communication wasn't great, my transfer to get there didn't work out first on the way back they also almost forgot me again. Dinner reservation also got forgotten. My request or question for a trip got ignored. It is definitely not a 24h reception. Breakfast was okay but nothing special and the service wasn't that great either.

Great choice if you looking for a "private" accomodation. Its close to the beach, shops, restaurants and staff is very friendly. They sorted for us speedboat as transport on airport, very helpful and nice people. Hotel is small, but very comfy, clean and very good equipped. Highly recommend !

It has a nice pool in the shadow where you can chill during the hotest time of the day. Its clean and definitely worth the money.

For the whole 7 days of our stay we had exactly same breakfast every day (not buffet) maybe it was because of Ramadan… We had maybe 5 meals ordered a la cart they didnt wanted to charge separately but all together at our check out. We had unpleasant surprise when discovered we are charged at least 30% more! Each meal costed 20$ top and we’ve got a bill for 184$ +18.4$ taxes. They didnt give us the receipt even though I wrote couple of times asking for it. Nither for room nor for restaurant services. However I hope they manage better because hotel itself is really sweet and I would definitely recommend, just be aware you need to set straight everything at the very beggining.

The hotel over all is very good. The breakfast is good and the one time we had dinner the food was good.

The only bad thing with the hotel is that the beds are hard.

Only the room, but as soon as you arrive at the hotel they tell you to leave the keys at the reception if you want to let them clean up the room but they never did it in 4 days so is useless. it’s disappointing!

Many things: the Hotel feedbacks were all super positive especially about the breakfast and service but in the reality were disaster. In General to sum up: 1- The breakfast area was always empty and I had to complain the first morning of my vacation to get the food (I have pictures so I can demonstrate); 2-Food in general doesn’t worth a star hotel; 3-Reception always empty; 4-They never cleaned up the room; 5-The Hotel is not on the beach side but is a 5/6 min by walk to the Bikini beach, the one and only beach for tourists.

The Rosy Villa hotel at Guraidhoo in Maldives is definitely worth a 5-star rating! The service was impeccable, with he and friendly staff that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were luxurious and clean, with all the amenities you could need and more. The pool was a great place to relax and very inviting. The food was excellent, not with a high variety of delicious dishes. Although, the staff were always willing to accommodate any requests for other dishes. The best part was the variety of water activities available. There were snorkeling, scuba diving, and kayaking trips, as well as a variety of other activities like fishing and sailing to keep us busy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.

The place is expensive. I paid 1990/- for one night stay, 12:00 check-in and 12:00 checkout, Our departure speed boat was at 17:30 so I requested for a late checkout, I was charged 995/- Half day charge for late checkout. Total 2985/- for 1 night and extra 5 hours stay period. There were no Hot water at the shower, as I was with 2 babies, it was very difficult to bath them. The toilet sink was blocked in our initial room. When informed we were told to change the room, and it took like 7 hours to change the room for a working sink. I expected more professional and better service with the price I paid for the stay. I ordered one dinner, (fried rice) It was not tasty, so later we ordered food outside restaurant which was pleasant.

We didn't have soap in the room, despite asking twice, towels were stained, our room was not cleaned, we slept because there was no one to attend to us. Place goes for hours without any assistant in sight. Bathroom floor leaked. Breakfast was horrible, I can write a book. Place was noisy at night.

independent of their offer, they were not willing or able to help me with the book the transfers. they did'nt answer to any of some direct emails, or direct contact formular via homepage. don'nt trust the answer via whats app if got ones. At the end I booked a ferry by myself. the promised pickup from jetty did'nt take place (atolltransfer.com). the breakfast was very simple and the same for 3times. bad coffee (cold) one Glas juice and no fruits, no Joghurt, no cheese. there was never also me oft a the desk for give you some advice. may be it was out of the saison but is these really a course for bad service? please make sure that the service staff understand your leaving time. additional no warm water for showering.

It is the best hotel in the island. The food is extremely delicious. We have dinner in the hotel every day. The pool is perfect to stay after the beach. They offer great excursions with good prices monitoring by sealife experts. The owner is very friendly and accessible at any time. Staff is more than kind, always with a smile. It was my wife’s birthday and they prepare a suprise in the rooftop. We have been thirty days around Maldives and this was by far the best hotel.

Very good hotel. Helpful staff. Food was better compared to other restaurants and prices were affordable. In-house pool is a bonus and we enjoyed couple of times and specially our 10m old. Easily reachable to beach area in 3 mins.

Rosy Villa is a gem of a place. We travel a lot throughout the world but never felt so at home anywhere else. Owner Hassan and his brother organise superb tours at very fair prices. They organised a very fun silvester bbq dinner party on a nearby sandbank with loads of food and music. We had a blast. Hassan is always there to help you if you need something. Ask Hassan to cook some chicken curry for you, you wont be disappointed. My regards to Chutti as well who always has a smile on his face. We are definitely coming back someday. We miss you a lot!!!

Our dive centre on Guraidhoo reccomended this place. And we had a broadly pleasant experience in terms of food and accommodation. A comfortable bed and a decent breakfast spread. Mr. Hassan was friendly and resourceful, he helped us sort things out for even after our stay.

I am genuinely fascinated by the impressive views of the swimming pool which was obediently located at the front of the outdoor dining area of the hotel which creates a fabulous feeling while having meal and both of the areas were surrounded by the lot of shurbs and small tress

The Rosy Villa Hotel is cozy and homely. The rooms are spacious, clean, ventilated and air conditioned. There is a safe in the room, a tea and coffee set in the room and the dining room. The hotel restaurant has an excellent chef and meals can be ordered in advance from a varied menu. The professional staff is considerate and attentive to every request. Hassan and his brother Zamir make sure that all activities are carried out in the best possible way. The hotel provided us with snorkeling equipment, made sure to bring us to all the places where you can meet the amazing sea life of the Maldives. Go out with us for night fishing and lobster hunting. They take care of all the details from the smallest to the largest so that the vacation will be perfect. There is no doubt that thanks to them it was one of the most successful vacations we have ever had.

We are stayed here in November. That nice place to stay. On last floor best rooms for my opinion cos they have one a rooftop terrace. the meal was great. Walk to the beach approximately 5 min. There’s a small store in front of the hotel.

We stayed at Rosy Villa for 13 days&12 nights. Room is very spacious, clean and cozy. We usually spend our time on the rooftop looking at clear night sky filled with stars is a wonderful sight. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our time here. Guraidhoo is a very quiet local island. Not much guest houses so you'll really feel the local side of Maldives in here. We are not really into waters ports so we never felt bored. Bikini area is not so far from Rosy. They also have a pool and sunbeds. Breakfast is OK. Same food everyday so it's quite tiring to eat. Fruit is a plus. Brewed coffee (Nescafè). Omelette with cheese is nice. Some of the things to improve: - Linen has to be changed on a daily basis with or without request. - Wifi rarely works especially on the 3rd floor. - Room slippers would be nice - No lift. And the reason why I wanted to give 4 stars is because of the water issue. It has a very awful smell and the water pressure can't even clean you when you take a bath. For the whole stay we suffered but they said it has been an ongoing issue and was never fixed until we left. The reason why I gave 5 stars are the staffs -- Staffs are the main highlight of our stay. We came at Rosy as their guests and left as their friends. Thank you, Lulù, Shaddah and Chutty for your warm hospitality. We were even sad to leave as they became like our brother and sisters. We'll definitely visit this place again.

Pathetic experience. They cancelled my booking without even informing me at the last minute. They accept bookings on their website and later deny to have accepted it. When I spoke to the receptionist and asked him to pass on the call to his owner Mr. Hassan, he cut the call suddenly. I’m disappointed because I read reviews that Mr. Hassan was supposed to be a very helpful person. If you want a hassle free vacation or trip, please make booking at a more reliable place instead of this.

I had a pathetic experience with Rosy Villa. They cancelled my booking a day before my travel.The person at the reception who attended my call didn't have basic ettiquetes and very rudely hung up the call without giving a proper reason for cancelling my booking at the last moment.If you want a memorable trip then pls make your booking at some trusted resort. The basic rule of hospitality industry depends on trust and word of mouth.

We were a big group who rented the whole villa for 7 days. I would like to express big gratitude to the owner Hassan and all guys who made our vacation incredible. Guys are so hospitable, helpful, kind and responsive. They organize different activities for us (snorkeling, boat trips, swimming with sharks) and always were with us, help in the sea, make photos and videos under water (fo free). Everything we need guys help us. We recognize PCR test is required in the morning and flight is in the evening so Hassan arrange everything for us. Villa by itself is new, very cozy and clean. We had all we need in room (towels, shampoo and gel, hair dryer, tea pot with tea bags and coffee, sugar and cream, bottled water). Cleaning every day. Food is tasty and price is very good, you can always order lunch and dinner, breakfast included. We had dinners at the beach in the evening served especially for us. Place was decorated with beautiful lights, it was nice music and we could dance. Food was amazing, with a lot of fresh grilled seafood, salads, desserts and fruits. We will come back for sure soon.

I and my fiance spent a week at this property and loved it. A warm welcome led by Hossan, the owner, started our stay we will remember for the rest of our lives. Being vegans, we asked the staff in advance about the possibilities of serving us something that would make our stay even more enjoyable and carefree. The chef did all his best and we enjoyed the meals every day. Boat trips we took were fantastic. Swimming with sharks was an unforgettable experience! Awsome! Can recommend to everyone. I would like to say a BIG thank you to the owner of this place. Hassan (owner) made my dreams come true, obviously also my soon to be husband because he chose this place. We came here after one week spent in 5* resort. To be honest I was little bit afraid of this island and this place but everything (people, food, hotel and the activites) was above my expectation. Villa: everything very clean and tidy, bed was very comfy, the aircondition was quiet and was working good, wifi (you will not need) working ok, rooftop terrace, nice pool Breakfast: egg omelete or eggs as you wish, toasts, local fruits, local breakfast - everything so tasty! You can add extra sausages, chapaty, whatever you wish :) Staff: mostly people from India, working hard and doing their best The owner was born in this island and he will educate you about everything you wanna know: local people, food, religion and about real maldivian life! Location: Rosy Villa is located in the middle of the island, 7 minutes from bikiny beach, 5 minutes from the port, anyway everything is near on this small island Unfortunately the mosque is located next to the villa so you will hear some praying at 5 am every day but you won’t escape from this anyway because the island is so tiny and you will hear the praying from every corner when they start it. You can get to this island from Male Airport or from Male city. Please, mind that it is not possible to drink alcohol and be dressed like you are going to have some party time. Maldivians are ortodox muslims and you can really feel it when you will be in this local island. You can wear you bikiny while you will be at the villa and on the bikiny beach. Otherwise you can wear regular dress, shorts, T-shirst. If you desire to have some drinks, ask the owner of the villa to get you to the party boat. Experiences: Ok. The main point is that nothing is impossible here. I asked for so many things and I got them. Hassan (the owner) knows everybody from this island so there is no problem to manage anything you wish. Night snorkeling, swimming with mantas, feeding sharks, amazing snorkeling reefs, turtles reef, jet ski, other water sports, diving and everything for reasonable prices Every guid that was doing some activity with us is a close friend of the owner of the villa. They always did their best and it wasn’t only about to take some money. This is Maldives! Extra: We were invited for complimentary goodbye dinner. Amazing traditional Maldivian cuisine. (Very spicy) You can ask for late check out, for 150 dollars is also possible to get a speed boat and go back to Male Airport according to your flight and needs.

Based on positive reviews in other websites, we wanted to try this newly built structure. All the compliments are well deserved, we would come back with pleasure! We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel (12 rooms) in a very quiet place of the tiny Guraidhoo island (10 min walking to go from one side to the other, so nice!) Well maintained, the rooms are big, clean, pleasant with AC and fan, the balcony was really appreciated and the bed is super confortable! And there is nice swimming pool too! Then the restaurant... the chef Sudesh is just excellent!! He’s super creative, he adapts to our requests, you can feel he cooks with love and passion... and having visited other restaurants in Male and in Guraidhoo, the best dishes we could taste! The breakfast was also very good to please all tastes. A big thank you to Churi our waiter and receptionist who was also taking care of everything to make our stay just perfect! And finally a big up to the owner Hassan who is looking after your confort and satisfaction at any time, organising a special dinner for Christmas at no charge for all guests to make this special moment unforgettable and also coordinating with his brother the excursions to awesome places (his brother knows all spots very well!)
