Νομιζω επιτρεπεται το καπνισμα ; Δεν ειμαι σιγουρη ομως. Ευτυχως δε μυριζε καπνος.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026l stayed in Argo many times. This time 2nd floor, room 25 :) Always same warm hospitality. Friendly&helpful reception desk. You stay in safe, clean historical building. Very central area, you can go all touristic places by walking.Bus and metro station very close. Also you can walk to train station by walking. There is lots of tasty restaurants, taverns and cafes around. Thank you for everything Hotel Argo. So next time in Thessaloniki, see you again..

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The cheapest room with shared bathroom option provides a great cost-saving without losing the privacy and comfort of a private room. My room also had a sink so only for toilet and shower needed to go out. The location is very close to shops, bus, metro, restaurants and I was able to walk to most places otherwise use the bus stop right outside. Beds and towels seemed very clean to me.
I felt that the air conditioning unit was a bit dated, and the floor perhaps not as clean as the rest of the room.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Kleines, etwas älteres Hotel aber gut geführt. Alles ganz sauber und zu sehr fairen Preisen. Zimmer haben Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank, die perfekt funktionieren. Kleine Läden und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum und an die Pier.

Quizás mucho ruido en la avenida,pero cerrando la ventana queda totalmente disipado.

Na krevetu ispod plahte je bilo više crnih dlaka, i kupaonica je nezgodno napravljena, nema nikakva pregrada u tušu pa se cijela zašprica. Također vrata od sobe ne prijanjaju dobro u okvir i onda kad se zatvore imaju veliki prorezi kroz koje se vidi na hodnik i iz njega u sobu...

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026I've stayed at the Argo before, and, coincidentally, even in the same room. So it felt quite like home. Basic, clean, comfortable, a very good value for the money. The bathroom is shared, but just across the room, and I never had to wait. The hotel is in a good central location between railway station and Aristoteles Square.
It was noisy during the night this time, a mix of the traffic on Egnatia and a storm moving through. It woke me up a few times.

Bilo je dosta vruce ostavili smo klimu koja inace nema usmerivac pa direktno bije u krevete i nije bilo moguce da radi dok smo u apartmanu ,a nakon naseg izlaska u setnju usli su u apartman i iskljucili . Dosta je staro sve!

Stank nach Rauch. Rezeptionist hat geraucht. Der Rauch zog ins Zimmer. Im Zimmer war auch ein Aschenbecher. Beim Buchen war mir nicht bewusst, dass dies ein Raucher Hotel ist. Lärm von der Strasse. Ich konnte das Fenster nicht richtig schliessen.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend: direkt mit dem Bus vom Flughafen zu erreichen, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar oder eben mit Bus. Das Zimmer war groß, mit Klimaanlage und kleinem Kühlschrank bestens ausgestattet. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Lärm, da das Hotel direkt an der Ecke zu einer der Hauptstraßen liegt. Aber das ist eben auch der oben genannte Vorteil :-)
wir waren total zufrieden. Ganz besonders mit dem wirklich äußerst netten und hilfsbereiten Personal an der Reception.

This is the oldest property I’ve stayed at. There was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke as soon as I entered the room, and unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable.
