This hotel is a true hidden gem. With its own house reef, it is a wonderful place for snorkeling, while the infinity pool is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Watching the sunrises each morning was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our stay. The entire team was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. We would especially like to highlight the excellent cuisine and the wonderful staff: Nabi and his team, Abdel Rahman, Mina, and Mohamed. They were always attentive and genuinely committed to fulfilling our every wish and making our stay as enjoyable as possible. A very special thank also goes to Chico at the pool, who prepared our sun loungers for us every morning and always greeted us with a warm smile. His kindness and attentiveness added an extra special touch to our stay. Overall, this is a fantastic and exceptionally service-oriented team that we can wholeheartedly recommend. We felt completely at home and truly hope to come back very soon.

Everything.The location and the buildings are amazingly beautiful. The staff are very helpful and so friendly, always greeting us with smiles. The food was so fresh, full of flavor and presented beautifully. Vegetarian options were not a problem at all. This facility is Eco friendly not only advertising it but really taking care of the precious resources. No plastic or pet bottles, boxed breakfast was in card box. Refillable shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Superb

Das Hotel überzeugt mit einer wunderschönen, ruhigen Lage direkt am Roten Meer und einem modernen, stilvollen Design, das sich harmonisch in die Umgebung einfügt. Wer Erholung abseits grosser Hotelanlagen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das gesamte Team, insbesondere Mohamed, Abed Alrhman, Abdo und Mena, war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Man hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Ihre Gastfreundschaft hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Das Essen war für uns ein absolutes Highlight. Die ägyptischen Gerichte waren unglaublich lecker, abwechslungsreich, frisch zubereitet und von hoher Qualität. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass es kein klassisches Buffet gab, sondern täglich liebevoll angerichtete Gerichte mit verschiedenen Komponenten. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bieten alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Blick aufs Meer und die Ruhe rund um das Hotel machen jedes Aufwachen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Ein weiteres Highlight war die direkt beim Hotel gelegene Tauchbasis von Emperor Divers. Das gesamte Team rund um Ahmed, Aimen und Katie war genauso herzlich, professionell und bestens organisiert wie das Hotelpersonal. Wir haben mehrere wunderschöne Tauchgänge erlebt und uns jederzeit sicher und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Kombination aus dem entspannten Hotel und der hervorragend geführten Tauchbasis macht das Wadi Sabarah für Taucherinnen und Taucher zu einem perfekten Reiseziel. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, vielen herzlichen Dank für diese unvergessliche Woche!

We have just returned from a fabulous week staying at Wadi Sabarah. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, the food is excellent, and the staff are all extremely friendly …nothing is too much trouble. The house reef is full of life and there is the added bonus of a first class dive company, Emperor, on site. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be returning, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Absolutely beautiful location, very far away and secluded but that’s exactly what we wanted. The actual property is beautifully made and all the extras like the botanical gardens and library really add a lot. The service provided by everyone who worked there was also amazing

We had such a wonderful stay at Wadi Sabarah and have now visited for the second time. That alone says a lot about how much we enjoy this place. The on-site dive center is fantastic and makes diving incredibly convenient. We also joined the desert tour, which was a really interesting experience and something we would definitely recommend. The entire staff is exceptionally friendly and it was such a pleasure to see everyone again. Their hospitality truly makes you feel at home. A special thank you goes to Mohammed, who always went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were also impressed by the entire team, including Abdu, Mahmoud, and everyone else. Their attention to detail and the way they remembered our preferences made every day feel personal and welcoming. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is peaceful. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

La nourriture était excellente !! Toujours faite maison et très fraiche, en plus d'être locale et variée ! Je recommande volontiers pour ceux qui aime la nourriture égyptienne et à orientation orientale / libanaise... Yummy !

Le personnel est d une gentillesse et d’une attention fantastiques ! Une pensée en plus pour Abdel Rahman qui nous a bichonnés ! L hôtel est très très beau et très bien équipé. C est absolument parfait quand on veut de la tranquillité, du calme, du repos et faire de la plongée sous marine (Emperor divers, centre à côté de l hôtel). Moins indiqué pour ceux qui cherchent une vie et des soirées animées car il n y a aucun resto, bar ou magasin dans les parages. Mais un vrai paradis pour se reposer et la découverte du désert et des fonds marins. Nous recommandons !!

Boutique hotel in a quiet oasis-like setting. Excellent for those who like a quieter, off-the-grid atmosphere. Great local food served for fixed menu lunches and dinners. Excellent dive shop attached to the property - managed by the wonderful people at Emperor Divers.

The lack of entertainment and access to night life may put some holiday makers off. It was perfect for us however

Magnifique hôtel avec une architecture qui s'intègre au paysage. Les repas (pas de buffet) d'inspiration orientale (égyptien/libanais) sont délicieux et healthy. Le personnel est super attentionné, respectueux et gentil. Merci spécial à Mina et au chef Said qui m'a montré comment faire les pains égyptien. Si vous recherchez un endroit empreint de calme et de sérénité, très différent des giga-hôtel avec plein d'animation qu'on trouve dans la région, alors le Wadi Sabarah Lodge est fait pour vous.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in in Egypt. I really liked the chill vibe. The food is fresh and healthy. No buffet but this matches the Eco-approach of the place. It’s creative, tasty and well portioned. Staff is very friendly and seem to care a lot. This was a huge plus. Overall, I feel that Wadi Sabarah fits in very well with the surrounding nature and culture. Pricing for lunch, dinner and drinks is fair, in my opinion. Transfers and other services clearly above local prices. I hope that service providers are fairly reimbursed.

Not a negative point but good to know. This hotel is away from everything. You need to bring all you need and cash for tips because there is no ATM, kiosk or pharmacy at the hotel or in walking distance.

While looking for a Red Sea getaway, Wadi Sabarah Lodge caught our eye. But it was the natural feel of the stonework and the attention to their integration into the natural landscape sold us. Upon arrival, Wadi Sabarah Lodge did not disappoint. With the backdrop of the desert and sea, the natural stone aesthetics of the buildings set the stage for an incredible adventure. Complimented by the necessary modern conveniences and a commitment to minimizing the carbon footprint of the lodge is a rare commodity in today’s world. The setting draws you back into a bygone era where you can step out of the chaos of modern-day society and declutter your soul. Our days were filled with relaxing by the sea or pool, exploring the desert with their expert guide or snorkeling on the reef (there’s also a pro dive shop on site). At 6:30 every evening the lodge provides an expert lecture that introduces you to the land and the sea, their past and present. We looked forward to learning more every day. The meals were a delicious variety of Middle Eastern cuisine, but it was the conversations with our fellow diners that brought an incredible end to our days. The power of exchanging stories was inspiring, informative and for us, transformational. We will cherish them forever. If you are looking for a place with a carnival setting and water park, Wadi Sabarah Lodge is not for you. If you are looking for something that’s missing in our crazy world; a place to relax, renew and reset, Wadi Sabarah is just that place.

The quietness, the excellent service, the traditional food and the helpfulness of the staff

La struttura è elegante, molto pulita, il ristorante propone cucina tipica ed è buonissimo. Noi abbiamo fatto tutti i giorni immersioni ed anche con il diving del resort ci siamo trovati benissimo.

Alles - sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Team, fantastisches Essen (kein Buffet, sondern jeden Abend ein bedientes, abwechslungsreiches Menü), traumhafter Blick, sehr attraktive Architektur die sich nahtlos in die Natur einbettet, schöner Wüstengarten und ein Hausriff bei dem man schon auf dem Jetty schon sehr viele Meeresbewohner entdecken kann. Besonders auch die Vision von einem nachhaltigen, bewussten Tourismus hat uns sehr gefallen. Ideal für Paare und Einzelreisende.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es keinen Sandstrand gibt wo man einfach ins Meer laufen kann, aber man kann sehr einfach über einen Steg ans Aussenriff laufen und dort kommt man einfach über eine Leiter ins Meer und wieder raus. Das Schnorcheln beim Hausriff lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Rust, schoonheid, stilte, goede bediening.

De laatste 2 dagen kwam ee een groep mensen die lawaai maakte. Het restaurant was hierdoor veel te onrustig. Ik heb er wat van gezegd vij het restaurant en ook bij de receptie maar ze deden er niks mee.

Insbesondere die etwas abgeschiedene Lage der Lodge, die Ruhe und die Aussicht haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren zu dritt in einem Zimmer und hatten ausreichend Platz. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und auf der Terrasse konnte man sich mit Meeresblick auch sehr gut entspannen. Das Hausriff kann über einen Steg erreicht werden und eignet sich perfekt zum Schnorcheln. Ebenso ist die Tauchbasis sehr empfehlenswert. Das Hotelpersonal, vor allem im Restaurant, war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch für uns als Vegetarier gab es ein abwechslungsreiches Abendessen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und können die Lodge nur weiterempfehlen.

We spent two weeks at the stunning Wadi Sabarah Lodge and had an absolutely unforgettable time. 😍 The Lodge is beautifully located with amazing architecture and wonderful gardens. 🌵 Outstanding food and service!! We both celebrated our birthdays at the Lodge and the whole Team around Mahmoud, Mohammed, and Mina and Nabil treated us extremely sweet with their warm nature and good humour. Thank you so much to all of you for taking care of us and giving us a truly special experience. 💗💕 Thanks also to Sayed who showed us how to make traditional bread and to Ibrahim who made special sweets and cakes for us. 🎂 Thanks to the whole kitchen team for the fantastic food and we hope to come again soon! Die Lage war super, die Abgeschiedenheit. Auch die Größe des Hotels war toll, im Vergleich zu anderen Ressorts gab es nur ganz wenige Zimmer, was eine intime und familiäre Atmosphäre schafft. Bitte auf gar keinen Fall jemals vergrößern! Diese riesigen Bunker lagen nördlich und südlich am Roten Meer sind völliger Irrsinn. Das Essen war FANTASTISCH. Auch das Konzept, dass es kein Buffett gibt, sondern man an den Tisch gebracht bekommt, was es an den Tag gibt, ist so entspannend; man verliert keine Sekunde damit, sich über "was esse ich bloß" Gedanken zu machen, und es schmeckt einfach alles überwältigend gut! Gleichzeitig liebe ich die Nachhaltigkeit dieser Herangehensweise. Die Massagen! Hier stimmt die Preis-Leistung, ich war insgesamt 5 mal bei Mimi und Nuur und habe die Termine jedes Mal sehr genossen - Dankeschön 🫶🏻 Zu guter Letzt: das Hotel-Personal. Der herausragende Service sucht seinesgleichen! Ich möchte an dieser Stelle ein großes Lob an Mohamed, Mahmoud und Seeha vom Restaurant, Chico vom Pool und (leider ohne Namen zu kennen) an das gesamte Team der Küche sowie all die unentdeckten und namenlosen Gesichter, die im Hintergrund für diesen reibungslosen Ablauf sorgen, aussprechen. Wir sind euch zu großem Dank verpflichtet, ihr habt unseren Aufenthalt einmalig gemacht und wir haben jede Sekunde in vollen Zügen genossen 🫶🏻 In den 2 Wochen, die wir hier verbracht haben, haben wir uns mit jedem Tag mehr wie zuhause gefühlt und sind am Ende nur schweren Herzens wieder abgereist. P.s.: Als ich zwei Tage krank im Bett lag, wurde ich herzzereißend liebevoll versorgt, es hat mir an rein gar nichts gemangelt- Dankeschön!

Der Check-in lief nicht so ab, wie ich das erwartet hätte und ich war hinterher sehr verärgert und hatte keinen guten ersten Eindruck. Nicht nur der Start war holprig, auch andere Anfragen an der Rezeption liefen nicht zur vollsten Zufriedenheit ab. Dadurch dass mein Partner seine Rezension aber sehr früh (noch während unseres Aufenthalts) verfasst hat, kam das zur Sprache und wurde schlussendlich geklärt. Ich würde anderen Gästen raten, etwas gleich anzusprechen, wenn etwas nicht passt! Man ist wirklich bemüht, eine gute Lösung zu finden. Die Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein, aber das ist Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Durch den Wüstensand sind weiße/helle Sachen sofort rötlich braun verfärbt, u. A. Vorhänge oder Auflagen für die Sonnenliegen. Das ist nun mal so in der Wüste, aber wenn diese Stoffe mal ausgetauscht werden, würde ich da fast zu dunkleren Farben raten. Da wird das große Zimmer gebucht hatten (nicht die größte Suite, eine Kategorie drunter meine ich), möchte ich anmerken, dass bei so einem riesigen Balkon Sonnenliegen zur Grundausstattung gehören sollten. Wir hatten zunächst nur Stühle.

Il s agit de notre deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel et tout est parfait: le style, le calme, la vue, de superbes chambres avec une literie très confortable ! Le personnel est au petit soins, très gentil et avenant, principalement au restaurant. La nourriture est excellente, de vrais plats locaux et de qualité. Nous revenons et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute à cet hôtel lors de nos prochains séjours à Marsa Alam :)

I love it! I got a room upgrade which had its own little library and ocean view, beautitul balcony too and very private. The food every night was amazing and the staff is very friendly too. They have a bigger library full of incredible collectible items, a little exhibition and a Bedouin museum downstairs which is very impressive. I will absolutely go back to Wadi Sabarah, pure calmness and relaxation

The pool which is supposedly heated didn't work the entire time I was there so I couldn't not use it which was a big miss as it was cold that time of the year. The dive school onsite is very expensive, I was surprised of the prices really above regular fees in the area

Während meines Aufenthalts in der Wadi Sabarah Lodge war ich vor allem von der außergewöhnlichen Ruhe und der besonderen Atmosphäre begeistert. Die Lage direkt am Roten Meer, umgeben von Wüste und Natur, bietet einen perfekten Rückzugsort fernab des Massentourismus. Ich konnte nach Mitternacht einchecken und erhielt auch noch ein Abendessen aufs Zimmer. Die Personen bei der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und haben mir alle Möglichkeiten des Hotels in Ruhe erklärt. Bei Fragen konnte ich mich jederzeit an sie wenden. Man wurde jeden Tag mit einem herzlichen Lächeln begrüßt. Besonders gefallen haben mir die stilvolle Architektur, mein großzügiges Zimmer mit Meerblick (606) und das nachhaltige Konzept der Lodge. Das Hausriff ist hervorragend zum Schnorcheln und Tauchen geeignet – bereits wenige Meter vom Steg entfernt konnte ich eine beeindruckende Unterwasserwelt entdecken. Es gibt vor Ort eine Tauchbasis und auch das Schwester Hotel The Oasis bietet eine Tauchbasis an. Auch das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Meine Zimmer wurden jeden Tag sehr ordentlich geputzt und man erhielt auch die ein oder andere Überraschung auf dem Bett in Form von Handtuch Kunstwerken :). Das Essen im Restaurant Tamarisk war frisch, hochwertig und abwechslungsreich, mit einem angenehmen Fokus auf regionale Spezialitäten. Zusätzlich erhielt ich jeden Tag ein für mich abgestimmtes Essen als Vegetarierin, worüber ich sehr dankbar war. Ich habe noch nie so gut in Ägypten gegessen! Ganz viel Dank an Mahmoud und Nabil(Ich hoffe, ich habe den Namen richtig in Erinnerung!), die sich jeden Tag nach mir erkundigt haben und immer für Gespräche offen waren! Wenn man nicht mit dem Tauchen beschäftigt ist, kann man wunderbar im Pool Bereich entspannen. Dies wurde durch Chicko nur noch besser, der mir immer mit den Sonnenschirmen geholfen hatte und mir nebenbei auch etwas Arabisch beibrachte. Er war sehr höflich und freundlich zugleich! Shokran!

Nichts! Man darf hier kein All-Inclusive Hotel erwarten. Wer Animation, Kinderbetreuung oder Party erwartet ist hier an der falschen Stelle!

Absolutely lovely eco lodge. We loved having the dive center on site and desert excursions. There are educational talks in the evenings in the inspiring library. The food was excellent served family style. We had full board and enjoyed all of it. The restaurant has beautiful views and the staff is great.

L’établissement étant assez excentré, il est préférable d’opter pour la formule all inclusive afin de profiter pleinement du séjour. Version un peu plus chaleureuse : Séjour exceptionnel ! Le lieu est magnifique, le personnel adorable et toujours aux petits soins. La restauration était excellente. L’hôtel étant un peu excentré, la formule all inclusive est vraiment recommandée pour profiter sereinement du séjour.

This is a perfectly run hotel. I very much liked my stay of 4 days. The location is a bit away from everything, but this again adds to its beauty: It’s totally quiet and not at all crowded. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Food is local and excellent. Now the staff are the best of everything. They are always around and very helpful. At the pool, the dining area, around the rooms etc. The waiters were very cheerful and very attentive. I would like to mention Cico who worked at the pool area and read every wish from my mind. Then there is a library that deserves that name. Many books, pictures and antiques can be enjoyed. A room full of history. In that very room every evening at 6:30 pm there is a 30‘ presentation on a topic like sea turtles which I visited. Thanks Simon, that was very informative. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Sam, the owner of the hotel. Thank you Sam for the invitation to that Lebanese food tasting. In case you fancy going to Zermatt skiing let me know, I live there and know the place. The Emperor Diving school that can be found in the hotel complex is equally well and professionally run. Highly recommended too. In short real gems!

It’s a special place - good to relax! Breakfast is served as a buffet, featuring freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly prepared eggs of your choice. Half-board includes one evening meal, which is served – meat or fish dishes with a selection of delicious side dishes. Everything is put on the table like a mini-buffet. All this is complemented by fantastic home-baked bread. The restaurant staff are attentive and very friendly. We had a superior room with ceiling fan, a large bathroom and a terrace, where we felt very much at home. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. I also went diving with the affiliated diving centre – had a great guide, everything was very well organised and the hire equipment was in perfect condition. In the end, we booked a transfer to the airport, which arrived on time.

There was just one small issue – the bed sheets are too small for the high mattresses and slip off during the night. That would be a small suggestion for improvement.!

Exceptionnel. Notre coup de cœur de notre voyage en Égypte. L’hôtel est très beau et très bien intégré à l’environnement. La piscine à débordement est superbe avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. L’ambiance est calme est intimiste - parfait pour se reposer. Le personnel est absolument charmant, présent sans en faire trop, mais toujours un mot gentil et à nos petits soins. Nous avons pris la formule pension petit déjeuner et dîner et c’était délicieux. Tous les soirs un menu différent avec souvent une soupe pour commencer, puis viande ou poisson/ fruit de mer, beaucoup d’accompagnements différents. C’est copieux et frais. La terrasse pour les repas est très belle avec vue mer. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, nous nous y sommes sentis très bien. Aussi, il y a un centre de plongée directement sur la plage de l’hôtel qui est très bien, supers explications et tres sécurisé (nous avons fait 2 plongées) J’ai testé également les massages que je recommande (très bonne masseuse. Le massage se fait dans une chambre qui a été réaménagée pour ça, donc pas de “vrai” spa)

Honnêtement rien. L’hôtel nous avait été recommandé par des amis et nous le recommanderons pour sûr à notre entourage.

La tranquillité, le personnel, les équipements et la propreté.

Le « botanical garden » et le « musée » sont décevants. La nourriture est bonne et de qualité mais très light. Parfois pas de dessert, et quand il y en a nous n’avons qu’un seul choix. Les boissons (hors eau filtrée) ne sont pas incluses : sodas, alcool et cafés sont à payer.

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for: peace and quiet, no entertainment, no buffet with leftovers from the day before, and an adults-only structure. I really appreciated the huge room with a terrace, the architecture of the building and the beautiful library of books on Egypt, in perfect Art Deco style. As a vegetarian, the food was absolutely no problem for me, and I really loved that the dishes were always local cuisine; I’m not interested in eating pasta and pizza when I’m abroad.

Sinceramente non saprei da dove cominciare per raccontare tutti i punti positivi che abbiamo riscontrato io e il mio gruppo presso questa struttura. Iniziamo dalla reception: vorrei menzionare la gentilezza e disponibilità di Michael, che ci ha accolto e ha organizzato per noi tutti i transfer. Su richiesta, l’hotel organizza anche varie escursioni. Vorrei poi menzionare la bellezza del posto. Si tratta di una realtà plastic-free, ecosostenibile, che dà veramente molta importanza all’ambiente. Si trova in una posizione super affascinante, dove il contrasto tra mare e deserto è veramente qualcosa di incredibile. C’è anche una piscina stupenda che si può utilizzare H24. Colgo l’occasione per ringraziare Chico, il pool boy, che è stato gentilissimo, sempre con un sorriso e pronto a venirci incontro. Le camere sono semplicemente stupende, le foto corrispondono effettivamente alla realtà. Voglio anche ringraziare il personale del ristorante, tra cui Nabil, il responsabile di sala, e ovviamente tutto il suo team, così come il team della cucina. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati tutti i giorni, sia per la colazione che per la cena. Abbiamo visitato molti posti nella nostra vita, ma sinceramente un’attenzione al dettaglio così forte e questo senso di accoglienza così caloroso non li avevamo mai trovati da nessun’altra parte. Questo hotel è veramente di un livello superiore e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è fantastico. Davvero non ho nulla di negativo da dire, perché la nostra esperienza è stata veramente meravigliosa e senza queste persone non sarebbe stato lo stesso. Quindi grazie di cuore a tutto il personale di Wadi Sabarah Lodge, anche all’autista che ci ha sempre accompagnato durante i nostri tour. Andateci, perché è un luogo in cui puoi davvero staccare: sei isolato dal caos e, soprattutto dopo tre giorni frenetici trascorsi al Cairo, la pace, la tranquillità e la natura che abbiamo trovato lì sono state veramente un toccasana.

Durante il soggiorno c'era sempre vento per cui non abbiamo potuto fare il bagno nella spiaggia di fronte all'hotel, inoltre vi è una barriera corallina e con la bassa marea non si può (giustamente) fare il bagno. A 10 min di macchina dall'hotel c'è la spiaggia di Abu Dabbab con lido, bagni, ristoranti, e una barriera corallina meravigliosa che potete esplorare anche senza una guida, andateci

Wir sind absolut begeistert von diesem Hotel! Die Zimmer sind wunderschön gestaltet, teilweise mit traditionellem Korallenstein gebaut, sehr sauber und bequem – mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer oder in die Wüste. Das Restaurant ist etwas ganz Besonderes: Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich aufmerksam und herzlich und lesen einem förmlich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Das Essen ist traditionell ägyptisch, abwechslungsreich und ausgesprochen lecker. Besonders die vegetarischen Mittagsgerichte überraschen immer wieder positiv und überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Ein Highlight ist das täglich frisch gebackene Brot aus dem traditionellen Ofen, das zu allen Mahlzeiten serviert wird. Auch feines Gebäck wird hausgemacht hergestellt. Dazu gibt es eine schöne Auswahl an Weinen und eine gigantische Aussicht Richtung Wüste und Meer. Vor dem Abendessen hat man die Möglichkeit, sehr interessante Vorträge zu besuchen. Außerdem gibt es ein Museum mit traditioneller beduinischer Kleidung sowie einen beeindruckenden Wüstengarten mit über 2000 heimischen Pflanzenarten – inklusive spannender Führungen. Der gepflegte Infinity-Pool lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein, und sogar dort wird man aufmerksam mit Getränken versorgt. Besonders gefallen hat uns außerdem die ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Es gibt keine Animation oder laute Unterhaltung, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Hotel ist familienfreundlich, erlaubt jedoch nur Kinder, die sich entsprechend ruhig verhalten. Dadurch bleibt die gesamte Anlage angenehm friedlich und erholsam. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt über alle Maße genossen und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!

We loved the Ethos and sense of place as well as the subtle design and construction from local limestone. The staff are amazing, warm and really go out of their way to make every interaction special. The food is incredible and having the Dive Centre on site is so great. The diving staff at Emperor are equally fantastic integrate and the nightly talks in the library are so interesting.

The location is perfect. House reef is astonishing. The whole property is so relaxing and peaceful, we loved it. Also 2 dogs that were so friendly and cuddly, i hope somebody is taking care of them🧡

Außergewöhnlich schöne Architektur und Gesamtatmosphäre. Außergewöhnlich freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.

Zu den Mahlzeiten gab es jeweils nur ein Gericht, ägyptische Küche. Dazu Musik ausschließlich aus den 1920er Jahren. Man konnte vom Strand nicht ins Wasser gehen.

Last week, we stayed at the beautiful Wadi Sabarah Lodge and feel compelled to share our wonderful experience. It’s a totally different stay compared to the large resorts. It would suit anyone interested in nature, marine biology, rest and relaxing. Such beautiful surroundings and we love our Deluxe Suite with fabulous balcony. But all accommodations seem to have this space as well, close to the sea. I have spotted ramps for wheel chair users and room 105 would be ground floor with huge bathrooms and large doors. So good to see as it can be challenging when you need accessibility, something I personally needed in the past. Please check for all the additional services, there are too many to mention. The stars of the show are the staff. As two women travelling we feel safe and respected here by everyone. Yesterday we were spoiled with a feast for a special big birthday. Mahmoud walked a mile to pick fresh flowers, Mina and Mohamed looked after us, carrying incredibly heavy skillets. The chef and sous chef made a delicious hand piped guava and strawberry cake we devoured and Nabil the F&B manager checked in with us this morning to make sure every wish was granted. What a fantastic team. Last but not least, we just came back from the best massage we’ve ever had from Mimi and her team. She is a true healer and has made my mums rotator cuff problem so much better that she’s slept a full night in a long time! Many, many thanks! Warm wishes to you all! Shukran Giddan

Great, quiet location by the Red Sea . Good snorkelling at the House Reef and Great Scuba diving on site with Emperor Divers. Also has the excellent Red Sea Project base on site. Good swimming pool that was never over crowded. Good reliable fast wifi. Fantastic Meals with friendly and professional service Team...Mila catered for our every need.

Totally recommend this hotel for divers and those, who love relaxing summer vacation. Full board is recommended, as there is no other possibility to eat nearby. The food was excellent and the terrace is very beautiful. The hotel stuff was very helpful. We will definitely visit again!

We had a very pleasant stay at Wadi Sabarah Lodge. Especially the hotel staff, from receptionists to waiters in the restaurant and cleaning personnel were very friendly and professional. Furthermore it was really comfortable to not have animation in this hotel. The rooms were in good condition and the house reef was beautiful. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

Struttura di recente costruzione, in pietra perfettamente integrata bel paesaggio circostante senza brutture. Camere ampie dotate di mini bar, pale a soffitto e AC, bel terrazzo e bagno con grande doccia. Silenzio e tranquillità. Nessuna animazione. Ottimo diving center sulla spiaggia con personale gentile e preparato. Ampia scelta di escursioni proposte dall’hotel nelle vicinanze

Pochi ombrelloni sulla spiaggia , datati e difficili da aprire. Nessuna assistenza in spiaggia e nessuna possibilità di avere servizio bar nemmeno in piscina.

Second time at Wadi Sabarah and looking forward to the next. It’s peaceful - well kept and the staff is extremely nice. We love the calm setup, the fixed menu Egyptian style meals, the wonderful breakfast, the gardens, the pool, the natural beach and its pontoon to the blue… It’s not your typical 5-star all inclusive resort: no entertainment, no bottomless cocktails, no all you can eat buffets, no water slides. And that is EXACTLY what we loved.

It’s getting a bit old but renovations are ongoing. Looking forward to the see the new building!

La struttura è un’oasi di calma e pace, dalle linee minimal e perfettamente integrata con il paesaggio circostante. Si respira una atmosfera di ‘quiet luxury’. Vive integrata con il Diving Center Emperor Divers e con il Centro di Ricerca e Tutela della barriera corallina, che organizzano in modo estremamente professionale immersioni (grazie Simone!) ed uscite di snorkelling guidate. Inoltre, è possibile assistere ogni sera alle 18,30 ad una presentazione sul mondo marino/sulla cultura egiziana all’interno dell’interessante biblioteca, che raccoglie la collezione privata del proprietario. Interessantissimo anche il museo privato presente al piano terra, così come i giardini botanici. Il cibo è delizioso e locale, servito a buffet a colazione e al tavolo ai pasti (a pranzo vegetariano, alla sera alternato pesce/carne). Il pane é cotto sul forno a legna in terrazzo ogni sera. Le camere sono spaziose, silenziose ed i letti comodi. Lo staff gentile e premuroso, mai invadente. Non ne abbiamo usufruito ma è possibile prenotare sia lezioni di yoga, sia massaggi.

La presenza della barriera limita l’accesso al mare, in caso di forte vento; abbiamo dovuto ripiegare sulla piscina. Sarebbe stato carino avere indicato il menu del giorno anche solo su una lavagna. Tutti gli extra (dalle bevande ai taxi) hanno prezzi un po’ elevati, anche rispetto agli standard italiani.

L’endroit est fantastique, le personnel est aimable, attentif et chaleureux. Le calme et la proximité de la mer font de cette propriété une retraite paradisiaque. Merci à tout les personnel qui est au top.

Bei ungünstiger Windrichtung hört man leider die Straße, die Schönheit und Entspanntheit der Anlage machen dies allemal wett. Außer Tauchen und Chillen gibt es wenige interessante Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten

La location molto ben strutturata, la camera spaziosa e confortevole, la cucina curata sia per i pranzi che per le cene.

Dato che si propongono come struttura “plastic free” potrebbero sostituire gli yogurt in contenitori di plastica con un’opzione in vetro, come nelle camere i dosatori di shampoo e bagnoschiuma.

Great location if you love the desert--and this is a desert facing the sea. Extraordinarily beautiful setting. I loved the independence of the rooms, the views of the desert, and the food in the restaurant as well as staff attentions was perfect. I was told the pool was heated but it was not--really a very cold swim for March, although the deck area was nice. The other guests seemed pretty unfriendly, but I can't praise the staff enough. I also enjoyed a massage with Mimi there on site. Overall, I'd love to return.

Tägliche Vorträge vor dem Abendessen über Flora und Fauna und das Museum im Untergeschoss waren sehr bereichernd. Der Fokus auf ägyptische Kultur und die Ruhe. Das Trinkwasserkonzept ist super mit Glasflaschen, die man jederzeit nachfüllen kann. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nicht aufdringlich, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt.

Mehr Auswahl beim Essen wäre mir persönlich lieber gewesen. Es gibt täglich nur 1 ägyptisches Menü, das zwar gut geschmeckt hat, aber nicht jeder isst alles und manches lässt man dann stehen, weil man es nicht mag. Auch beim Frühstück täglich das gleiche. Der Strand bzw. der Weg dorthin war dreckig (Hundekot, Plastikmüll). Im Sinne der Nachaltigkeit, wofür sich das Hotel einsetzt, finde ich das schade.

Juste les chiens et une chat très maigres et déshydratées, ça était triste. Ça serait bien de laisser de l’eau pour les animaux dans quelques endroits.

Die Eco Lodge liegt in der Wüste direkt am roten Meer. Das heisst, man kann am Pool liegen, runter zum Meer laufen (5min), schnorcheln, tauchen, wandern. Das Hotel ist stilvoll, weil schlicht und elegant dabei. Es ist nicht posh oder bling bling, aber premium. Hotel Staff: amazing. Mohammed und sein Bar Team (Abdelmessia, Said, Mina und die vielen anderen tollen Service Kräfte incl der nette Bäcker, der das Pita-Brot im hoteleigenen Ofen immer frisch für uns gebacken hat) waren extrem warmherzig und auch lustig. Immer bemüht, uns glücklich zu machen. Chico, der Poolboy war auch extrem nett und immer hilfsbereit. Rezeption und Zimmerservice: auch toll. Und Mimi/Hemad, die Masseurin, macht ihren Job unglaublich toll. Ich habe mir 3 Massagen gegönnt, so gut hat es getan. Adults only ist die Devise, aber ohne Party. Ein ruhiges Hotel mit extrem netten Gästen. Alle sind entspannt und kultiviert. Wir haben viele interessante und freundliche Menschen kennen gelernt. Die Bibliothek war auch toll. Unglaublich viele Bildbände über die ägyptische Geschichte. Und Romane etc. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Der botanische Wüstengarten war wunderschön und es gab auch viele Vögel um die Lodge herum, wunderbar! Wirklich eine tolle Eco Lodge. Das Essen war auch extrem gut, wir hatten Halbpension. Die Betten waren sehr gut, ist ja auch wichtig. Und man sollte bei den Handys die Klingeltöne ausstellen, das hat mir auch gefallen. Es hat auch keiner nervig telefoniert und dabei die anderen gestört. Wir haben uns miteinander unterhalten, man kommt gut in Kontakt mit den anderen Hotelgästen.

Struttura esteticamente molto bella, costruita in modo rispettoso dell’ambiente circostante. Camere ampie dotate di terrazzo, alcuni dei quali vista mare. Ampio giardino curato. Belli gli incontri serali su testi che legate al mondo animale e sulla cultura locale. Luogo rilassante. Possibilità di organizzare immersioni o snorkelling grazie all presenza in loco di due centri di alto livello.

Scarsa pulizia delle camere e degli spazi comuni, ristorante con poca scelta di piatti (menù fisso senza possibilità di conoscere prima i piatti). Personale gentile ma con poca conoscenza della lingua inglese, la comunicazione non sempre è facile. Poca attenzione ai dettagli. Molti aspetti gestionali sono migliorabili e renderebbero la struttura ancora più bella.

Hôtel pour les personnes souhaitant passer des vacances au calme , le personnel est adorable et discret. J’ai pu passer mon padi dans leur centre de plongée et ça reste un des plus beaux souvenirs de ma vie. Le snorkel depuis la plage est magnifique

La struttura si presenta architettonicamente come un complesso in pietra con paraste che ricordano il complesso di Saqqara o geometrie antiche del deserto. L'idea di un luogo che si riconnette alla propria terra, salvaguardando la natura e l'intero patrimonio culturale, è ben riuscita e viene trasmessa attraverso diversi elementi: la creazione di giardini con piante autoctone, il centro di immersioni Emperor Divers presente nella struttura con accesso diretto alla barriera corallina, il museo dedicato ai costumi dell'antico popolo dei beduini del territorio, e la biblioteca con una collezione trasversale. Per chi fa immersioni, la competenza di Ahmed o Mostafa del centro sub locale è di spessore. Le presentazioni serali a tema subacquea rendono il soggiorno un'immersione totale. A completare il quadro, il silenzio e la quiete, e un personale preparato, gentile, accogliente e attento come per esempio Abdelmaseeh. La qualità gastronomica, orientata a promuovere la cucina locale, è altrettanto eccellente.

Die Ruhe und die Lage. Die Einfachheit und der Stil der Einrichtung.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Management und die Rezeptionisten hingegen sehr unfreundlich und man fühlte sich dadurch nicht willkommen. Das Essen war lecker. Unglücklich finde ich, dass es nur ein Set-Menu gibt, das serviert wird. Dadurch wartet man ewigs. Auf Unverträglichkeiten wird nicht eingegangen.

The vision of the property is admirable: quiet and peace in harmony with nature. The hotel structure is wonderful, with coral stone blending in with the surroundings. Walking on an almost empty paradise beach felt like luxury. The view from our room was incredible. Food was fresh and healthy. A highlight of our stay was the library and the visit of the botanical garden with Dr Irina: a warm recommendation!

Bed linens were of cheap quality and same for the bathroom towels, which were also stained. I would have expected something more for a structure focusing on quality and sustainability. Room cleanliness could have been improved.

Intimate local hotel with Lovely staff ( special shout out to our breakfast chef Saeed), amazing location on the edge of the archaeological area, lovely pool , lovely relaxed areas to sit and chill.

It didn't bother us but it might be worth mentioning they don't serve alcohol. We stayed in the apartment under the restaurant which could be very noisy in the early morning .

Las instalaciones y el trato del personal. Hacer snorkel es totalmente recomendado y el arrecife es una pasada.

La comida estaba buena, pero era menú cerrado, no tenías opción a escoger platos; y las bebidas que no son agua se cobran aparte.
