Muy buen alojamiento. Las cabañas son perfectas para desconectarse, sin ruido, al frente del mar. El desayuno es delicioso, el personal todo súper atento. La ubicación es privilegiada, queda al lado de hostales reconocidos donde se puede ir de fiesta / comer / piscina / tomar cócteles, ver partidos, etc. y después volver a la tranquilidad de Pikua.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand, sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegter Garten umgeben von Palmen. Frühstück wird auf Terrasse serviert. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Team, kümmert sich sehr liebevoll um alle Gäste. Kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt.

Absolut ruhige Lage zwischen mehreren Party Hostels. Wir hatten die Hütte in Strandnähe und haben das Rauschen der Wellen die ganze Nacht genossen. Die private Terrasse mit Hängematte war sehr angenehm. Top: Wasser gab es jederzeit um unsere Trinkflaschen aufzufüllen. Somit wird viel Plastikmüll vermieden.

La chambre le lit confortable la ponctualité dans les petits déjeuner l’aide pour avoir un taxi se faire réveiller par les singes hurleurs, les oiseaux et le bruit de la mer, magique !

L’eau froide dans la salle de bain, pas précisé, pas de restauration , les restaurants à côté sont bof, pas de chaises longues sur la plage, cher pour ce que c’est. Salle de bain défraîchie.

What a wonderful place to stay. We did it right after the lost city trek and needed some downtime. We had the best sleep in forever, the beds are very comfortable and the sounds of nature soothing. It's just a few steps away from other restaurants and bars with live music and party vibes, whilst the place itself is very calm, intimate and quiet. We couldn't swim in the sea but we were able to use the pool in the hotel next door, which was a big plus. The staff is super kind and helpful, and they were sending us information as well as tips on events and live music via whatsapp. You can also book a massage right at the beach.

The breakfast was very tasty, but could have been a bit more diverse. We stayed 4 nights and had the same breakfast every morning, incl. the same type of fruit. But this is just a minor comment. We were very satisfied overall

Wir durften hier in einer sehr authentischen Unterkunft übernachten. Neben einem Tresor und einer abschließbare Tür, vermittelt vor allem die Lage und das Personal Sicherheit. Wir wurden mit einer frischen Kokosnuss als Willkommensdrink begrüßt und bekamen auf Nachfrage frisches gekühltes Trinkwasser in einer Thermosflasche. Das Grundstück liegt direkt am Strand und neben Geckos, Schmetterlingen und Eidechsen beeindruckten uns vor allem morgens früh die Brüllaffen.

Wir waren an Silvester hier und die benachbarten Bars beschallten uns mit Partymusik. Daher war es nicht ganz so ruhig wie erhofft, aber immer noch sehr entspannend.

Super Lage und sehr ruhig! Restaurants in kurzer Laufdistanz am Strand. Gemütliche Hängematten am Strand um sich zu entspannen.

Teils etwas lieblos eingerichtet und der Preis ist schon sehr hoch für Kolumbien im Verhältnis zudem was man bekommt.

La ubicación y la energía del lugar es espectacular! Tienes todo para pasar unos días de completa tranquilidad, muy a gusto y con el mar al frente! Y si quieres algo más movido lo tienes en los lugares de al lado! La musica de Yam y Tatatropica me encantó!

Todo estuvo perfecto!

Spędziłem w Playa Pikua Ecolodge 2 noce i muszę powiedzieć, że byłem zachwycony zarówno samym obiektem, jak i obsługą. Sam hotel w tym czasie miał niewiele gości i infrastruktura była spokojniejsza, odswiezana w miedzyczasie, ale dla tych, którzy szukają totalnego wyciszenia, natury i spokoju - to najlepsze miejsce w okolicy. Ja ze względu na kontuzję nogi i poruszanie się o kulach, zmieniłem obiekt na położony obok hotel Masaya, miałem tam bliżej do restauracji. basenu itp. i wolałem być w otoczeniu większej ilości turystów, ale to tylko mój przypadek bo sam hotel jest przepiękny, bardzo naturalny. Bungalow w dzungli, przy plaży. Chce też podziękować Pani Martha, oraz jej mężowi i synowi - byli niesamowicie pomocni i empatyczni i pomogli mi anulować ostatnią noc bez kosztów żebym mogl zmienic hotel, na ten który był wtedy dla mnie bardziej wygodny (z moim poruszaniem się o kulach). Mieli do mnie ogromną cierpliwość. Pierwszej nocy zgubiłem klucz do pokoju i sejfu 🤭 Jest to miejsce najspokojniejsze w całej okolicy i bardzo odroznia sie od okolicznych imprezowych hosteli. Bardzo polecam dla tych którzy chcą odetchnąć od zgiełku.

El desayuno es muy bueno y lo llevan al cuarto. Las opciones de comida son mas limitadas en el hotel pero alrededor hay muchas opciones. Pero el lugar es tranquilo, perfecto para desconectarse.

Siempre es un poco lejos y el transporte es algo costoso.

L’emplacement paradisiaque et la qualité du lieu authentique. C’est la deuxième fois que venions . Une évolution restant dans l’esprit est l’utilisation de l’électricité solaire permettant l’accès à internet qui peut rebuter certains accros. Accueil chaleureux et havre de paix Néanmoins vous pouvez retrouver d’autre ambiance à côté. Restauration de qualité juste à côté

Ich habe vier sehr angenehme Tage in dem Bungalow verbracht, der auf Stelzen fast direkt am Strand steht. Hier konnte ich herrlich mit den satten Geräuschen der Brandung und des Waldes einschlafen und aufwachen. Traumhaft! Es gab ein bequemes Bett, Moskito-Netz, Lüfter, eigenes Bad, Hängematte und einen mit Bier und Wein vorab gefüllten Kühlschrank. Die von viel Grün umringte Terrasse des Häuschens lädt dazu ein, einfach den ganzen Abend dort zu genießen. Es hatte zum Glück auch (Anfang Nov) keinerlei Moskitos. Lediglich am Strand kamen zur Dämmerung Sandfliegen raus. Tagsüber ist der Strand herrlich. Das Meer ist etwas rau und trüb, doch gut zum Schwimmen. Essen gibt es in den Restaurants der beiden Hotelanlagen, die sich direkt rechts von Pikua befinden, wenn man auf den Strand tritt. Die sind ganz ok, etwas möchte-gern chic. Man muss sich jedoch mit Konserven-Beats und den ganzen eitlen Handy-Posern arrangieren, die dort abhängen. In linker Richtung gibt es in etwa 20 min Entfernung mehrere kleine Strandrestaurants, die ursprünglicher und preisgünstiger sind. Wie gelangt man zur Lodge? Einfach mit den Bus an der Hauptstraße absetzen lassen. Dort warten genug Motorräder für den Rest des Weges. Fazit: Alles top!

La playa

Hay mejores opciones en la zona, más cómodas y ofrecen restaurante y bar. Se fue la luz y el agua, manejan paneles solares lo cual es excelente por ser amigable con el ambiente, pero en días de poco sol no carga las baterías y no tienen una segunda opción.

Estuvimos menos de un día y al hacer ecológico estuvimos sin energía porque tuvo un apagón en la fuente.

Nadie nos recibió, todo fue por llamada, mala experiencia con el tema de la energía, tocó buscar otro hostel para irnos a conectar, el desayuno los huevos pericos que pedimos estaba casi crudo, el café era como saborizado se dejó por completo, el precio nos pareció costoso por las 3 personas y por mala experiencia; aunque tiene a los dos lados hostales como hermano beach y costeño beach la idea no es ir a buscar para eso estás pagando. Adicionalmente dejan unas cosas en la nevera que no es mucho y soy consciente de que se consumió todo, la cuenta de la nevera por unas cervezas, agua y caneca de ron dio $300.000 más los $600.000 que se pagó de la noche el cual ingrese a las 6 pm y salí al otro día antes de las 11 am.

Everything! Thank you for making me arepa de huevo, for leaving me in the same room and for being so attentive. I needed some personal space to reflect on a difficult time and you gave me that.

Heerlijke plek om even niets te doen. Mooie hutten, schoon en verzorgd.

Houd er rekening mee dat je niet kan zwemmen in de zee. Er is wel een zwembad bij de buren waar je gebruik van kan maken.

The cabana was huge, clean and in the middle of nature, with howler monkeys all around. Possibility of surfing nearby.

Maybe a bit overpriced

Marta and the team were super friendly and accommodating. Made us feel very welcome. Super peaceful, right on the beach, and very relaxing to sleep to the sound of ocean waves. It was quiet, peaceful and a great way to disconnect — and only a 2-3min walk to Masaya and Costeno if you want a bit more action. Will come back for sure.

It’s impeccably clean. Right at the beach. Staff are really nice and helpful. Tayrona is very close. You should be aware that the place is an eco-lodge, so you hear all kinds of jungle sounds, like monkeys jiggling, but you also wake up to the sounds of waves and birds singing, which is pretty amazing. It was my first experience like that and to be honest I loved it. The place is super calm and really peaceful, but there’s a lot of action in Costeno, just a short walk away. You can eat there too, even though it’s a hit and miss depending on the cook lol

The location of Playa Pikua is amazing - right on the beach. We loved hearing the waves at night as we slept and waking up to the birds chirping. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. They assisted us in coordinating a boat ride to Tayrona Park and a taxi to the airport. We enjoyed breakfast served to us directly in front of the ocean each day and the food was delicious. While they don't serve lunch or dinner there, you can easily walk to any of the other 3-4 hostels next door to enjoy a meal or a drink.

While my husband and I stayed in one of the huts that was raised off of the ground and had no issues, our friends who stayed in the ground-level hut had issues with cockroaches in their room and a bat defecating on the spare bed in the room. However, the staff was very apologetic and offered to clean the room or move them to another hut. And of course, interactions with nature/animals is to be expected as the location is directly in the middle of the beautiful natural jungle.

Location is amazing right on the beach. Nice that they bring you the breakfast to the hut.

Massively over priced. A basic hut, absolutely no luxury which at this price there should be. Toilet seat was broken, light in room didn't work. Breakfast is dead basic. Difficult to see what they are charging for, no bar or restaurant on site.

This place is like a heaven, it is quiet, down to earth, not busy. The cabanas are simple and authentic and at the same tame comfortable. All the facilities are awesome. It is one of the best places we have been and we had great time there. The personal is very helpful and smiley, near on the beach a few very nice bars and restaurants where you can go, so I would say that the place is very remote but only 5 min away you can go and enjoy a nice meal or cocktail.

We loved our stay at Playa Pikua. It’s a real slice of paradise. Such a tranquil location, on the edge of the jungle and right on the beach. Cabins are simple, but very comfortable. Cleaned everyday by the lovely staff, who are always happy to help. The breakfast is delicious and can be delivered to wherever you prefer to eat it. The hosts Martha and Oscar are so lovely! We really enjoyed our stay here.

The location of playa pikua is ideal - looking out to the ocean, very quiet besides the sounds of the waves and birds. The staff were absolutely amazing and martha and Oscar are the kindest hosts. The breakfast was delicious and the lodges were spacious, comfortable, and clean. It felt like home very quickly!

Playa Pikua is an amazing place, Martha and Oscar are the best hosts. You are literally sleeping in the ocean, the bungalows are amazing you can smell the fresh air and hear the nature all around you. The breakfast is amazing and they always help you with everything.

Intimate, private and quiet

Only breakfast included, not lunch, dinner or drinks service available. You couldn’t swim in the ocean, the current was too strong and there was always a red flag at the beach.

Everything was excellent. They deliver the breakfast at our door and it was just amazing. They were so kind and always available to us. For sure we will come back. Gracias!

Beautiful and natural quiet garden with eco-huts. The Staff were wonderful, the breakfast was very good and they were happy to supply things that were not on the menu. At the waterfront there is a communal space so everyone can enjoy the beach view! Señor Gustavo and Señora Adelina looked after us when we were alone on the premises <3

In the rainy season things don’t really dry after three to four days. The occasional noise from the neighboring Hotel/Hostel.

The place is quite quiet, the parties are around but the police is really peaceful, for couples are perfect. They don’t sell food sou you have to go to the restaurants close by. It is perfect. You can go for party to costeño beach that is like 2 minutes walking and come back to the peace of the hotel . The room are bungalows made of wood so it is beautiful. The sea is strong but if you know how to swim there is not problem. I did .

They should have more staff, somebody how can clean the beach take care of the chairs of the beach , to clean the hamacas somebody to take care of you in the beach.

We loved the breakfast that was delivered to our front porch each morning. The staff and owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. The beach was very close.

At first we were disappointed that we weren't directly on the beach. i love to look out and see the ocean, however, it was just steps away so it turned out not to be a big problem. The hardest thing was the road that you needed to take to get into there. We drove a rental car and traveling for about 20 minutes each way on an unpaved bumpy road made it discouraging to go out. We are explorers so being in one place for 5 days is not our thing.

The welcoming, the breakfast and the stay were very connected to the locality and the nature and it was the perfect relaxing weekend. Very helpful staff and services and very knowledgeable on the local area and places to visit as well some excellent restaurant recommendations. Definable visiting again.

Gorgeous setting, nice grounds, the people are great, nice and quiet

The plastic pillowcases were not great, some of the facilities were in disrepair (eg our door knob kept falling apart, the yoga mats were dirty)

No clean cloths to wash up didn't feel it was terribly hygienic. Very noisy as open to the elements, dogs barking, motorbikes passing throughout the night.

The location is in the stretch of beach next to Costeño Beach and other hostels where there’s a young crowd and party vibe, but Pikua is super quiet and isolated. The cabins are super nice inside the bushes.

The hotel only offers breakfast so you have to find alternatives for lunch or dinner. There a a couple of hostels close by with food, else you need to move further out (drive, moto-taxi o 40 min walk)

Mosquitoes can be annoying, and extra steps were needed to make sure that the mosquito nets covering the beds stayed closed. WiFi coverage should be improved.

Exceptional ecologde if you look for simplicity like us, living in bungalows made of wood with palm-leaf roofs. Everything so carefully designed and constructed, you feel connected to nature. No speakers allowed, lighting dimmed by natural materials, makes it very quiet and peaceful day and night. Nice communal building with sofas, hammocks and yoga mats. Location is great, right by the wonderful almost pristine beach. A few hotels/hostels nearby, embedded among the palm trees, with some very nice low key restaurants with chairs in the sand. Very friendly staff, served great breakfast on our own veranda.

Sometimes you can hear some music from neighboring hostel. Big waves during all of our stay made bathing difficult.

I liked it all

It's an amazing tranquil spot in between more lively hostels. Not for partygoers but for people who want to chill on the beach and/or maybe visit the neighboring hostels for a drink, but want to have their rest and peace after it. The owners as well as the personnel were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

This was exactly what we were looking for. It was in a perfect location that had direct access to the beach and jungle. The hotel was quiet and perfect for relaxing. Plus, the beach bars a short walk away (but far enough to not hear their music) had a lively atmosphere that we could pop in and out of. Perfect combination. The staff was also incredibly sweet and helpful. Very grateful for them.

Amazing host and staff, perfect location right on the beach - where they also provide chairs and hammocks. The cabañas are really great with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. GREAT breakfast! Wish we could have spent more time there...

Right on beach. Hut was well equipped with comfortable beds and mosquito netting. Staff was excellent. Very sparsely developed area so quiet. However there are 3-4 restaurants to walk to on beach. Reminded us of Tulum 20 years ago. Must be careful swimming. Waves and undertow are strong.

The location is wonderful, on the beach and with the constant music of the ocean. The room is rustic but perfectly adequate. Very good breakfast, abundant and varied. Martha and Oscar were excellent hosts and the staff, very helpful and simpatico. I truly appreciate the silence; no music anywhere.
