The most incredible and relaxing place
Nothing it was all amazing
Rien
Clean rooms and lovely design with comfortable beds. Staff take care of the property and with pride, extremely helpful staff who will cater to your needs. Breakfast on the lawn in front of your room, or drinks on the terrace.
No kettle or coffee machine in room. Breakfast has a surcharge for eggs. Mini fridge is fully chargeable. For any hotel, let alone a hotel of this standard or this cost per night, you would expect the above to be an absolute basic standard. The hotel food is fresh yet overpriced for what it is.

The swimming pool and furnitures are good and clean. The room is amazing. The staff is incredible caring, helpful and committed to give you the best experience. The place itself is really nice and quite. Special mentioned to Majid always going extra length to give you the best service.
It’s a bit far from the center. You always need to take a taxi back and force (400 dirhams). So you have to take this in account. Breakfast is basic and repetitive, it’s a set meal.
Merci au personnel :)
I had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful which I really appreciated given it was my first visit to Marrakesh. The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful and peaceful, and the food was great (although the menu is a bit limited). It was very easy to organise a driver with reception & I had a wonderful massage.
I organized a guided tour of the Medina & a day trip to the Atlas Mountains via the hotel. The tour of the Medina was a bit more like having a shopping companion which was great but if you’re interested in learning about the history of the Medina then I would perhaps suggest organizing a different tour. Similarly, the guide for the Atlas Mountains was really just a driver which is fine but if you want more of a traditional guide with information then I would again suggest organizing this separately.
An oasis of calm with the best and most attentive team of staff.
The Restaurant could do with a little softening of the decor to make it feel a bit more welcoming and a wider selection of foods available from the menu.
The hotel is styled beautifully. The rooms, gardens , heated pool were all fantastic. Lots of space for all guests , we could choose from multiple sunbeds and tables for dining no matter what time of arrival. Very relaxing. Also nice flexibility for eating breakfast ( up to 12 if you prefer to eat later)
I liked everything they already offer including the wonderful team !! looking after everyone. I feel with some added facilities this hotel would be a solid 10. A gym (the room is already there but it needs fitting out) some type of spa or hammam & perhaps a Pilates/yoga class. There is no real bar area as such and a few sofas positioned by pool house where an aperitif could be taken would be greatly received by guests. Also a kettle with tea/coffee in room would be good.
Beautiful lodges in amazing grounds. The pool area is gorgeous. All the food we had was amazing. The staff really made this place - especially Magid who really looked after us and made us feel special and at home.
There was a noisy hotel (or something) next to the property who played loud music all day and eve which slightly spoiled the quiet birdsong. The spa treatments were not good but when we complained it was dealt with really well and kindly by the staff.
Very nice small hotel with exceptionally friendly staff offering good service
Access is via a bumpy track but I suppose that adds to the charm!
We loved our bungalow room in the pretty walled garden. The pool area is very nice and the heated pool was welcome in November. Great breakfast, which is brought to your room. We enjoyed the dinners at the hotel on the two nights we stayed. The staff were delightful - friendly, attentive and with a great service style.
A very minor point in an otherwise great stay, but we found the beds a bit hard and uncomfortable.

Very relaxing stay, just a short drive away from the Medina. The hotel felt more like a “home from home” with incredibly attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our 2 night break there memorable.
Some small details, such as the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However, room service was readily available.
The peace and quiet, really relaxing. The staff are all excellent, very friendly and welcoming (special shout out to Magic) love the way everything is informal and you can eat where you like, by your room, in the restaurant or in the garden
Can't think of anything
Simply perfect - quiet and relaxing
|The location is over 30 minutes drive from Marrakech, which means you spend a lot of time in the transfer car during rush hour traffic.
Everything!!! We loved any aspect of the hotel. After a few days spent in the Medina (which were also great, but very intense) we loved the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Our room/ bungalow was very well designed, the bed and sofa were really cozy. We loved the swimming pool and the garden. Any common area of the hotel was extremely well designed and decorated. The staff was very kind and attentive. We didn’t want to leave:)
A mosquito repellent for the guests dining outside in the garden would be a plus! Other than that, everything was perfect
So kind and inclusive the staff was Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and everyone working at Les Cinq
Nothing
Confort, chambre, literie, piscine, personnel
Everything !
Stayed for 3 nights after a longer stay already inside the medina, so we were ready for some quiet relaxation time. The hotel is about 30 mins from the main medina, so a great location if you want to dip in and out of the chaos of central Marrakech. The look and feel of the grounds and the accommodation gives the impression of a tranquil retreat. Staff were friendly and accommodating although not overly visible, they were on hand if needs be. The food was ok, tagines were good but there's not a huge choice of food on the menu. The accommodation is nice, maybe a tad worn in the bathrooms, but it's roomy and nicely appointed - plus there are loads of seating areas dotted all over the site, plenty of areas to sit, eat, drink and enjoy the view. The pool is stunning, loads of comfortable loungers and gorgeous planting throughout the grounds. You can also take in the lovely sunsets from the rooftop of the main reception too. The hotel is small with only 10 or 11 stand-alone rooms / African-style huts set in lovely grounds, and at the time of our stay there were very few guests. On our last day we were actually the only ones staying here, which was a bit weird and eerie. It's a very popular place to rent out entirely for families or events. We had a fabulous driver whilst we were in Marrakech which I highly recommend the hotel also knew him he's called Hassan, lovely gentle soul couldn't do enough for us!
Noise!! Every afternoon and evening there seemed to be some sort of party / event going on close by. Couldn't work out which direction it was coming from, but it sounded like a hotel with a DJ and loud music being pumped out to a roaring crowd. I asked a member of staff if this was a one-off, and he said no, it's all the time! Lying by the pool, I had to put my earbuds in to drown the music out. It wasn't too bad inside some of the buildings, but it ruined my peaceful holiday. The beds and pillows were really uncomfortable I had to ask for softer pillows and if they could somehow make the bed less hard both requests were taken care of promptly. I would also have liked a kettle in the room to make a drink, and a wider selection of food on the menu. All these areas could easily be rectified, and it could be really wonderful, just not for us.
So perfect and tranquil - we had the most wonderful time here. The rooms and grounds are stunning, it’s suuuper quiet, food and drinks are great (the breakfast is soooo good) and above all, service is impeccable. The fact that it’s a bit out of Marrakech is a welcome change from the busy centre, and the hotel is great at arranging transport for a seamless stay. Highly recommend having dinner in the garden - it was such a nice detail.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
This 10-bungalow boutique hotel is excellent in every way: quiet location 20 minutes from the medina, beautiful architecture and interior design with an African touch, pleasant garden to have your meals and relax in to the sound of birds, lovely heated pool with sufficient loungers for every guest, 5* service with attentive staff, and above all, excellent food. I didn't try the massages. A small drawback: on certain evenings, the entertainment of a hotel 1 km away can be heard, but it is limited in time, precisely so as not to disturb the neighbors too much. I would gladly return to this hotel!
I mention only a small detail: propose a better espresso to the few coffee lovers. Though, that won't stop me from returning :)
Fabulous stay, we just chilled for the 3 days we were there. We stayed in Marrakesh for 2 nights & then here for 3 so we didn't bother with the transfers in/out as we had already 'done it', but i can see the attraction of staying here & just dipping into Marrakesh whenever you feel like it. The staff were excellent always smiling & helpful, we went to a neighbouring hotel for dinner one night, it was nice to get out & see the surrounding countryside but the dinner experience wasn't that great, food good but the staff were over the top, not relaxed like here. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
If there had been a spa onsite i would have used it but didn't miss it & also as others have said would have been nice to make a coffee in the room - but again these things weren't missed would have just been a bonus.
Hotel Les Cinq Djellabas is the most amazing hotel - we absolutely loved our stay and are already planning a return visit. There are 10 individual beautiful lodges in the stunning grounds (we were serenaded with bird song while eating breakfast outside our lodge) and a gorgeous pool. And the staff are so kind, thoughtful and attentive. It is located a quick and easy drive from the Old Town of Marrakech so the hotel combines the exclusive restful boutique hotel vibe with being able to dip into the vibrancy and energy of Marrakech historic old town.
We didn't like that we had to leave!
Tranquility and quality in every way. But, as always it is the staff who can make or break a good place and these staff were excellent in every way.
Nothing
Amazing staff and beautiful surroundings. Pick ups and drop offs to town were seamless. Lovely breakfast. Only a few very small negatives - menu could be slightly more varied and coffee making facilities in the room would have been appreciated. If you have a massage, have it in your room! Felt very vulnerable as people could, and did, walk in to the room we were being massaged in!!!
We had an incredible time at Hotel Les Cinq Djellabas. If you're looking for some peace and calm outside of the buzz of Marrakesh, this is the place to stay! With complimentary daily transport into the centre, this made it an easy way to explore.
A beautiful tranquil oasis which is within a short taxi ride into the hustle of Marrakesh. Simple and uncomplicated, but done very well. Tasteful and comfortable. The staff are truly beautiful people….. smiling and helpful.
An exceptional stay all round- couldn’t fault anything! The hotel is so peaceful and the rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious- the staff are so attentive and set up a beautiful sundowner on the terrace for us and set up dinner in the garden wherever we wanted. A special shout out for Majid who gave us great recommendations for dinner in Marrakech and made sure our stay was perfect. The hotel also offer free transfers into Marrakech if you stay for three nights or more which was amazing and let us explore the city. One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed- will 100% be back!
Everything was just perfect!
I liked that there was plenty of space between the detached accommodation houses, I like the pool, it’s furniture, shade from the trees, and the poolhouse/bar. The staff were very helpful The food was good The concierge were accommodating and swift
The staff were incredible Nothing was too much trouble
Food could be more varied
Extraordinary
Nothing that should be fixed, I was worried with the neighborhood on the way there at night, but I should have remembered that it is described as being off the beaten path.
The service level is unseen. We staff wanted us to become the laziest person on the world during our holiday, in the positive way :). Beautifull accomodation. Lovely breakfast.
No coffee machine on the room.
The hotel was perfect. The rooms were very spacious, the pool area was perfect, nice and quiet. The staff were all so nice and very attentive.
Staff was so friendly and helpful, everything we needed was done.

This property was outstanding, from the moment you stepped out of the transfer it oozed tranquility and simple luxury. The staff were always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. We stayed in room 6 which was just beautiful, better than the photos! The private suites (huts in the gardens around the pool) had a very African feel, with wicker roofs and beautiful furniture. All amenities were provided, robes, slippers, minibar, tv etc. The only thing I would add to the room would be a coffee machine! However - breakfast was delivered to your room at whatever time suited you, where you could eat at table outside - there were pancakes and fruit and pastries, fresh Oj and hot coffee in a thermo flask (great idea!). The vibe was peaceful at all times of the day and night. There is 10 rooms so the pool area was never loud or crowded. The sunbeds were comfortable and the staff would bring drinks to the pool for you as well as serve lunch at your sunbed or set up a table in the garden for you to eat. We ate dinner both nights we stayed at the hotel. It was very romantic, candlelit in the garden. The quality of the food was suberb; we ate the keftas, the chicken and the lamb tagine, the pastilla (my favourite), the burettes and the mixed Morrocan salads. We had some lovely French wine and they made a great Virgin Mojito. I cannot fault a second of our stay at Le Cinq Dejellabas. It was such a relaxing and much needed start to our holiday in Marrakech. I will be recommending this hotel for anyone wanting to split their time between the medina and the palmerie. The hotel did also provide transfers to the medina if guests wanted to eat elsewhere of an evening, we just did not use this facility.
Nothing - except the drive to the property from the airport goes slightly off the beaten track but if you know to expect this it is not a problem.
Wonderful setting, fantastic staff and service.
Room, setting, peaceful. A welcome retreat from the busyness of the Medina. Very good food and not too far from town to enjoy many of the great restaurants just outside the Medina (though taxis are required and best arranged via the hotel).
Breakfast was fine croissants yogurt etc had to pay extra for eggs - very nice to have it outside the room very peaceful - food menu was simple and didn’t change day to day - cooking was adequate but not gourmet Pool is really beautiful - staff were lovely and very helpful - sadly the surrounding countryside was full of rubbish and scrubland - there is a water shortage there and olive trees looked like they had died - but you couldn’t see any of this once inside the hotel .
Couldn’t leave the hotel for a walk as in the middle of a wasteland with rubbish strewn everywhere
generally very peaceful with amazingly helpful staff and a gorgeous pool
It was empty and felt unloved - the food was average at best and whilst the price was 5 star it was only 4 star really....
Peaceful oasis. Huts were well thought out. Lovely heated swimming pool. Super comfy loungers.
Nothing
Hidden paradise, lovely grounds and pool area, outside of Marrakesh so super quiet. Easy access into the Medina by shuttle taking 20 minutes. High quality food with some of the nicest staff encountered in any travels. One young man is nicknamed “smile”, he is a fabulous person so willing to help with anything. Breakfast on a little table in shade of olive trees is a lovely start to the day. Super relaxing environment.
Beautiful property with spacious and luxurious rooms, beautiful pool surrounded by established planting. One free transfer to the medina a day was a fantastic perk. Having breakfast outside the room each morning was the perfect start to the day.
Staff and location were excellent, beautiful heated pool within stunning surroundings, villas are a lovely design.
A few issues, the a/c was very noisy , the tv picture kept freezing so couldn’t watch anything ( not that we were there to watch TV). No coffee maker in the room which was disappointing. I think the main issue we had was the loud music at night coming from a large resort nearby, we wanted peace and quiet but unfortunately there was no mention of this music when we arrived. We stayed in Villa 5 so maybe you don’t hear it with villas nearest the restaurant. Food was excellent but the menu could really do with expanding as the choice is not enough for more than a few days.
Clean and comfortable Staff helpful and friendly

The swimmingpool The staff, everyone is very friendly The lunch in the garden.
The day we arrived, nobody has obviously checked our room before, we unpacked and after that, we discovered the sink was broken and water was floating all over the bathroom. It couldn’t be repaired immediately so after unpacking we had to pack again to move to another room, very inconvenient. The hotel is also very remote and sometimes too quiet, The garden is not really beautiful, rather small with walls around it. You have to go to the terrace to see the mountains, but there is no possibility to sit. We have asked to speak to the owner or manager but he never shows up. As a compensation they gave us the omelets we had in the morning for free, but we feel eggs should be included in the breakfast (only sweets) for the room rate you pay already.
Superb venue, lovely and quiet and very much off the beaten track (perhaps a little too much as the road in is very dusty and off road!!) but a wonderful place a staff couldn’t have done more for us
There is a nightclub nearby that you can hear from the tranquility of the hotel which occasionally ruined the ambience but not in the control of the hotel and waaaay quieter than being anywhere near the medina
I loved the location, it was quiet and tranquil yet only 20 minutes from the Medina. The staff and quality of service was excellent, it exceeded all our expectations.
Nothing
Breakfast excellent. Staff were great especially taking account of the fact that the earthquake happened when we were there. The staff continued to be lovely and helpful even though they had their own problems to deal with. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Hotel is a little way from the main centre. This might not be ideal for some visitors
Excellent service, super attentive staff, very comfortable rooms and delicious food. A very quiet and beautiful hotel. We loved it!
Nothing
It is such a unique boutique hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. The pool, gardens and rooms were lovely and it felt like a little oasis.
The menu is limited (it is the same for lunch and dinner) and it gets quite tiresome thought the dishes are nice. Equally, the breakfast was the same, every single day. No variety at all.
