Terrific stay at this property. Facilities are all decent, and the bed was especially comfortable. The location is in a quiet, picturesque spot just next to the lake. It’s short walk into the main part of town, but there’s also a delicious restaurant just a two minute walk away - La Cantina. The highlight was definitely the host Guillermo, he went above and beyond for us during our stay, and he’s one of the kindest people you’ll come across. I would recommend staying here every time!

I had a wonderful stay at Cabañas de Nene! The cabin was well cleaned and had everything I needed. The cabin was the same in the photos. The owner, Guillermo, was so welcoming and friendly! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay and experience in El Calafate. The cabin is about a 15-20 min walk from the downtown area. But it is very close to a nice walking area by the lake and there were some good restaurants in close proximity.

The cabin was very nice, clean and cozy had everything I needed for my 3 nights 4 day stay, weather was cool but not to cold and was able to walk 15’ to town. Property is right next to Costanera walkway where I walked overlooking the Argentino Lake. The host Guillermo was amazing, the best I have come across in my travels. very helpful, truly kind and very attentive to details, like my breakfast and helped me book my tours to the glaciers, he was a blessing in connecting me with the tour company that I was having trouble booking, he called them directly and helped reserve my tour, he was a lifesaver. Guillermo helped me get taxi to the Glaciarium museum.

There is nothing that I could complain about.

Beautiful and quiet place between the coast (and nice sunset bars) and town (great restaurants and cute shops). The nicest man in the world runs the place.

The place itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. You can really tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything clean and guest-ready. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We didn't make it to eat all the medialunas available there. The location is very calm, and the host is very friendly. We felt at home and couldn't be more satisfied, and we strongly recommend the location.

A wonderful welcome to an enjoyable stay. A lovely location close to the lake and not too far from main street in El Calafate. Beautiful garden and comfortable cabins/accommodation. Great breakfasts. Our host, Guillermo, was very friendly and helpful. A real treat to be able to stay here....one our best accommodation stays.Would also be good for families with a great lakeside playground not far away. Nature reserve close by.

We had a wonderful stay at Cabanãs de Nené in El Calafate. The cabin was extremely clean, and towels were replaced every single day, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was delivered fresh right to our door each morning. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals when we wanted. The living area was spacious and comfortable, and the two bedrooms provided plenty of room. The bathroom was also very large and excellent. We felt very comfortable and at home throughout our stay. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to the lake for beautiful views and relaxing strolls, and it’s also very close to the town center. Guillermo was always available and very prompt in responding to any questions. His attention made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Guillermo, the host, was wonderful. He made all efforts to please us. The place is beautiful and well kept. Everything was perfect.

We had such a nice and relaxing stay with Guillermo at Nene’s cabañas, it felt like visiting a favorite uncle’s house! The cabin had everything we needed for a cozy night - comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, sofa and TV, along with breakfast.

It was such a nice stay, really nothing we didn’t like. Maybe it would be nice to have an extra pillow?

Guille, el súper guest, súper amable, se preocupa mucho por los huéspedes y es súper colaborador. Cerquisima de Nimez. Agua abundante, fría y caliente y es un hospedaje para repetir. Flores bellísimas en un ambiente que no es muy propio para la vegetación.

This cabanas is very clean, good location to find with, and Guillermo is super nice, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Guillermo foi muito atencioso com nossas necessidades, horários para café da manhã, lavagem de roupas..... fez de tudo para que tivéssemos uma boa estadia. Os quartos são muito limpos, as toalhas trocadas com muita frequência, a cozinha é bem equipada. Temos 3 filhos ( 1 bebê de 1 ano), e ficamos extremamente confortáveis com o apartamento.

Fica um pouco distante do centro ( cerca de 1,2km), então para fazer coisas por lá, é necessário pegar um taxi ( que funciona bem el El Calafate), ou fazer uma caminha de 25minutos.

Un séjour de 5 jours incroyable, tant par les activités autour d’El calafate que pour notre hôte Guillermo, qui a rendu ce voyage génial ! Le logement est parfaitement entretenu tous les jours, Guillermo est gentil, ponctuel, accueillant, discret quand il le faut, enthousiaste, généreux et j’en passe. Le petit déjeuner est toujours copieux et apporte en mains propre par Guillermo, qui en profite pour donner des conseils sur les lieux à visiter / ou manger dans le coin. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés et plus encore ! Encore merci et peut être à un de ces jours :)

L'appartamento è poco fuori il centro di fronte il lago argentino e a due passi dalla laguna Nimez, un'oasi di pace. Le stanze sono spaziose e accoglienti, con un bel giardino pieno di fiori. La colazione è ottima e viene servita direttamente in appartamento all'orario scelto dal signor Guillermo che è un padrone di casa eccezionale, attento e disponibile a dare consigli e rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile. Lo consiglio assolutamente se volete sentirvi a casa!

Guillermo was terrific - facility sparkling clean and a short walk to great bird sanctuary.

Ambiente molto confortevole, tranquillo e luminoso in una posizione ideale per rilassarsi, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro città, e di fronte alla splendida "laguna di Nimez". La cordialità era complrta disponibilità del proprietario, Guillermo...la colazione tipica locale abbondantissima.

Un accueil personnalisé par un charmant hôte Guillermo, qui est aux petits soins et nous a aussi déposé en ville. Il nous a laissé profiter d’un late Check-out pour attendre l’heure de l’avion. C’est un peu excentre mais très pratique pour visiter la Laguna ninez. Les appartements sont vastes et confortables bien qu’un peu sombres et un peu ‘vintage’ au niveau du mobilier. Le petit déjeuner servi ‘à domicile’ est très bon.

Un petit peu cher malgré tout, mais la gentillesse de Guillermo n’a pas de prix 😉

The nicest and friendliest host ever! Super clean cabin, has every gadget you need in the kitchen. Has plenty of room for a small family! Breakfast is served good quality ham and cheese, croissants, etc. The location is a bit away from downtown (12 minute walk), but we needed peace and quite. Restful and quite. Highly recommended! Guillermo received us at our Taxi and helped us get settled in. He is so friendly and attentive. The rooms were very clean, well stocked and in a safe area. He helped us with taxi arrangements and gave us recommendations for dining and helados. The breakfast provided was fantastic. Overall it felt like a stay with family instead of a hotel.

Host was excellent in providing all the help and accommodated all our requests. Breakfast was provided at the hour that we requested. Guillermo provided excellent service, whether places to visit, places to eat or local stores to buy daily essentials for our trip. quite and excellent location for family.

Great communication from start to finish. Guillermo (owner) helped us with airport transfers and restaurant recommendations. He answered any questions quickly and was very friendly and eager to help. He even brought us breakfast at 3:45am when we left for El Chalten.

Guillermo, the host and owner of Cabanas de Nene, couldn’t be more helpful. His mission is to ensure that all his guests have a wonderful stay in El Calafate, giving advice about local trips and even preparing breakfast to suit early starts. The accommodation is comfortable and homely, but spotless, with cleaners coming in daily. Cabanas is located right by the lake, with an excellent restaurant close by (El Cucharon) and a 10-15 walk into the main town for a wide range of eateries.

Really cosy cabin that was cleaned every day. Guillermo was incredibly helpful and kind, always willing to help and incredibly approachable and accommodating. The apartment is very near the lake where you can go for a walk and an easy walk into town.

The property is located by the lake and its owner, Guillermo was quite exceptional. He’s the “all around guy”, cleaning, managing the front desk and attending to the needs of the guest. The apartment is very clean. They clean it every day and change your towels. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and quite specious enough.

It’s at least 15 minutes walk to the town center. But you can take a taxi for 2000 ARS.

Beautiful property close to the town and shopping; very walkable. Nearby, there is a great little coffee shop and a market which is very convenient. Guillermo helped us with reservations and logistical questions about our plans. So helpful!

Our cabin was a little chilly but once we let Guillermo know, he immediately adjusted it for us.

This is an apartment so it's bigger than a hotel room. We love the extra space after hiking W Trek. The owner is extremely nice, working hard to run the place.

The property is in a quite place where everything is walking distance, aside of the cleanliness of the rooms, not to mention that the owner is the one that attends to yours needs,going faarrrr and beyond anyone’s expectations.

A high quality apartment with all facilities only 5 minutes walk from the bird reserve and 3 minutes from an excellent restaurant El Cucharon. The owner is a really nice person who will help with anything. It’s a five minute taxi ride from town and you are out in nature away from the crowds.

This apartment was amazing. It was the perfect location within walking distance of both the town and the lake. The space was great for our family with very fast wi fi and a nicely stocked kitchen. Breakfast was delivered every morning by the owner who is the absolute nicest person and the best host. Everything was very clean and comfortable. This has been our favorite hotel during our entire trip in Argentina.
