Wanagiri Campsite

For the price, this place is 1000% worth the value. Amazing views, kind staff, free coffee, tea and water, they also make food there for a fair price. We stayed almost 2 weeks here. Just know that it’s closer to camping than staying at a hotel; if you’re ok with living in slightly rugged conditions, this place is perfect.

Moldy conditions in room but after staying in Bali for 2 months, it’s kind of unavoidable as it’s so rainy and humid everywhere.

The perfect get away. The owners were so helpful, accommodating and friendly and made a very memorable evening for us with our kids. The room was small but clean and comfy, shower was hot and towels were provided. It far exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to return.

WOW I dont even know where to start! This place is true magic! I have traveled all around the world and this has been my favorite stay, especially because of Tama, Eka, Ditta, Ayu and the whole family! 🥹 The view from the bungalows is absolutely breathtaking and they helped me arrange a wonderful massage, laundry, and delicious food right on site! Even picking fresh strawberries right off the vine 🙌 We got to try different teas and coffees every day which were world class! Above all was the activities arranged by Tama! We staid 4 nights and there were endless things to do and see from natural jungle water slides to trekking, canoeing, ATVs, rafting, temples, rice fields, hot springs you name it! Tama gave us great suggestions and always found us the best price. He drove us himself to so many destinations and by the end, our group had gained a new best friend!! Thanks again and hope to see you all once more 🫶🫶🫶

Kartika z rodziną prowadzicie wspaniałe miejsce! Choć nie jest to camping dla wszystkich, są ślimaki, insekty, coś skrobie w nocy, na ciepłą wodę trzeba chwilę poczekać, ale widok i klimat wynagradza wszystko a to wszystko w super cenie. Na wielki plus również kuchnia! Było pysznie!!! Najlepszy cap cay na wyspie:)

I loved how cozy it was. Hosts are good people as well. In this area it can get pretty cold at night, and we had two extra blankets just in case. Very comfortable bed, we had such a good sleep. I loved this llace, def recommended!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit im Goa Walet und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sauber und liegt in einer traumhaften, ruhigen Umgebung – perfekt zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Das Essen war besonders lecker, frisch zubereitet und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Wir haben jede Mahlzeit sehr genossen! Auch die Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und familiär. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können Goa Walet von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Ein ganz besonderer Ort! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing location, I felt really good and rested there

The double cabin was good value for money. It had extra blankets as it was cold. The views are amazing. The staff are beautiful and the restaurant really good value for money with free tea, coffee and drinking water. Good wifi.

There was nowhere to sit after dark as its so cold in the common area/restaurant. In the room it's cosy but you can only sit on the bed.

Het waanzinnnige uitzicht. Midden in de jungle. Kleinschalig met leuke plateaus om op te zitten. Restaurant met voldoende keus en de hele dag kon je koffie of thee maken.

Definitely the best hotel in the area, offering the best value for money, with a lovely little restaurant, plenty of facilities and, above all, a breathtaking view and incredibly warm and friendly staff – a special mention to Adi and his father, who were very professional and friendly. Schitterend locatie op een plantage in de bergen. Aardige eigenaren en personeel die graag uitleg geeft over de locatie en ook tours en drivers regelen. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Possibilité de louer un scooter et prendre un taxi facilement, personnel extrêmement gentil, cadre incroyable !

La douche parfois ne chauffait pas du premier coup mais avec un peu de patience elle fonctionnait bien

El personal es súper amable y muy sonriente, dispuestos a ayudar en todo lo que necesitamos.

Hay que tener en cuenta que es zona de montaña y baja la temperatura por la noche. Hay que llevar algo de abrigo.

Virkelig, virkelig søde ejere på stedet. Der er fantastisk udsigt fra hytten - og platformen udenfor. Rigtig god placering i forhold til Wanagiri view point, twin lake trekking and canoeing, Banuyomala vandfald mm. Alt dette bør opleves her. Selve hytten var ok. Spartansk, men fin nok. Ok med varmt vand og der var ekstra tæpper på værelset. Sengen var lidt hård. WiFi virkede godt. Man kan fylde sin vandflaske og der er gratis te og kaffe i “restauranten”. Vi var kede af, at vi ikke kunne blive alle 3 nætter, men jeg havde ikke fået tøj nok med og frøs virkelig om natten (tænker der var 17-19 C), så hvis du planlægger en tur derop (og det kan jeg anbefale at gøre), så husk varmt tøj!

Jeg manglede en pude at sidde på udenfor - alle bænke, stole mv var meget hårde. Manglede også en krog til håndklæder. Hytten er lille og der er ikke rigtigt et sted at lægge sit tøj, så vær forberedt på at “leve ud af kufferten/tasken”. Det er dog det værd!

L'emplacement est superbe, au calme avec une jolie vue. C'est une cabane en bambou, nous y avons bien dormi. Douche avec eau chaude et il y a des couvertures/plaids pour la nuit. C'était très propre. Le restau est très bon et pas cher et le thé/café et l'eau sont à disposition. La dégustation de thé et café état très sympa aussi et nous avons acheté du café et du thé à la boutique, ainsi que des fraises fraîches. Vraiment, je recommande, nous avons trouvé l'ambiance et l'accueil très bien. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix selon nous. Nous aurions pu rester plus longtemps.

Rien. Mais nous précisons que dans la région, la brume arrive après 12h et donc c'est mieux d'en profiter le matin. C'est vrai qu'il fait frais le soir mais avec un pull, c'est nickel.

Leuke ervaring, clamping in een hut. Verwacht geen hotelluxe maar geniet gewoon van deze ervaring. Prachtig uitzicht en superlekker eten voor echt weinig geld. Heel aardig personeel.

Amaaaazing place with adorable view when the weather is loyally. Comfortable room with warm blankets. Kitchen with one the most delicious food in Bali. There is also own Coffee plantation. And cutest cat.

There wasn’t a hot water in my shower for few days.

Helaas was het heel koud toen wij kwamen en was er niks van verwarming, maar voor de prijs heel goed

I was planning on staying one night; I stayed two (and would stay longer if I had the time).. I think that says it all... The location is incredible with the direct view,from all the rooms, on the valley. Very confortable bed with a big bathroom. Everything was well cleaned (as much as it's possible in the forest). The food was delicious. There is free black tea and they have incredibly tasty other option of tea and coffee. You can do a coffee plentation tour also. And if that wasn't enough, everyone is sooo lovely here and speak every well English!

This is an excellent campsite-style hotel cum small resort nestled in the cool elevated region of Munduk, Bali. Staying here is definitely a lovely experience, though I would recommend it for just 1 night or maybe 2 nights. The atmosphere is very peaceful, especially in the early mornings when you can hear birds chirping along with the refreshing cool breeze flowing through the hills. Since it is located at a higher elevation, mornings and evenings can feel pleasantly breezy and slightly cold. The property also has 2–3 selfie/view points, which can be quite exciting for young couples and social media lovers. While this is not a luxury resort, the rooms and surroundings are neat, clean, and comfortable. The biggest surprise is the tariff — extremely affordable and honestly irresistible for the kind of experience it offers. Overall, a very good stay for nature lovers, couples, and anyone wanting a peaceful mountain vibe in Bali — but ideally for one night only.

Se amate la natura e la tranquillità questo posto è l'ideale! Lontano dal caos delle città principali, il contatto con la foresta e le piantagioni di caffè tutto intorno è qualcosa di rigenerante. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e cordiale, sarà in grado di prendersi cura di voi e potrete chiacchierare con loro e gli ospiti della struttura. Essendo una coffee farm, abbiamo fatto da loro una degustazione di caffè e tè di loro produzione, tutti davvero squisiti (abbiamo fatto scorta nel loro shop). Inoltre, organizzano trekking ed esperienze a contatto con la natura per conoscere il territorio. La nostra guida è stata Totok, un ragazzo simpatico che ci ha seguito e ci ha accompagnato dove desideravamo. Ci ha fatto scoprire una realtà locale ancora sconosciuta ai più, si tratta di una vanilla farm, gestita dal signor Dío che ci ha accolto nella sua azienda familiare, ci ha spiegato il processo di produzione delle bacche di vaniglia, mostrandoci le piante e la loro gestione. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare anche il miele di Trigona da lui prodotto, insieme a un cocco appena raccolto. Ringraziamo ancora tantissimo tutti per l'accoglienza, la passione e il calore che ci avete dimostrato, speriamo di tornare presto! :)

The accommodation has the most beautifull view, really good food and friendly staff, that smiles all the time. This spot is perfect for exploring the mountains and the waterfalls in the area, like Munduk or Sekumpul. Be ready for colder weather, it is the mountains, so it can change rapidly. But if the view is clear, you can stargaze in the evening, because else you will be exploring the area elsewhere. You can walk to the temple nearby and see monkeys on the way if you come in the afternoon and it’s too late to go anywhere else. The rooms are good, it is glamping, so you can spot some insects. I really recommend it, the spot is perfect for exporing or just enjoying yourselves.

La nourriture est très bonne aussi sur le campement et la région de Munduk est juste magnifique ! Je recommande à 100% !

It's super humid and cold inside of the hut . all the cold fog gets inside of the house and it's super cold and uncomfortable . Better to rent something downhill and made of concrete .

A very simple and comfortable place with everything you need. There is a blanket and a cover, which is great since it can get cold in this area. The room has an incredible view of the mountains. You should definitely wake up early to watch the sunrise, it’s absolutely amazing.

Sometimes the hot water didn’t work, and I had to go to reception to ask for help, but all issues were resolved quickly.

The friendliest owner who has done something amazing with the place! The view is crazy and the bungalow, yet quite simple, is still comfortable with an okay bathroom. Just be prepared that you live with the nature here, as the bathroom roof is not completely closed. Oh, and the restaurant had great food options and was really good, even for vegetarians!! If we would come to Wanagiri again, we would definitely stay here again!

One of the light bulbs in the hallway to the bathroom was missing. The shower hose was leaking quite a lot of water, making it a bit difficult to shower. The hot water was not really hot, but still ok. So only minor downsides with this place :)

Chambre super propre et confortable, pas humide malgré que je sois venue en saison des pluies. Eau chaude appréciable car il fait effectivement froid. Il y a toutes les commodités nécessaires : location de scooter, laundry, possibilité de commander un taxi. Les alentours sont juste magnifiques. Le personnel est très gentil et à l'écoute, ils veillent à ce qu'on ne manque de rien, et ont partagé les fruits de leur cérémonie hindoue avec les clients ! Bon rapport qualité-prix en résumé

La ventilation juste à côté du lit est très bruyante. La nourriture est un peu chère avec les frais de service, mais reste raisonnable.

Le personnel était vraiment adorable ! La vue était incroyable ! La cabane était trop mignonne

The view is amazing! The little huts are very cozy and have everything you need. Coffee and tea is for free and the staff is super friendly and helpful with everything. We would love to come back! It’s super laid back and perfect to relax and just enjoy the beautiful nature of Bali. Still enough spots and restaurants around, reachable with a bike.

Możliwość picia codziennie kawy z ich ekologicznej plantacji to prawdziwy zaszczyt. Miejsce jest idealne dla ludzi, którzy cenią prostotę, dzikość i głębię.

Może nie tyle, że mi się nie podobało co wyzwaniem była odległość miejsca od punktów gastronomicznych i brak możliwość zrobienia sobie samodzielnie śniadania.

Peaceful, nice communal area. Lots of wood which was a nice design choice. Friendly cat :) close to shops and restaurants. Incredible view when we could see it. There is a restaurant so we had a couple of nice meals there.

Would’ve been nice to have some hand soap for the sink, and the bathroom attracted insects which is to be expected because it is ‘glamping’ but still we had to be careful not to step on them.

Tama et sa famille sont adorables et vous accueillerons de mieux possible ! Dès notre arrivée un thé ou café nous est offert. Nous avons pu avoir la chambre dès le matin tôt et des scooters nous ont été mis à disposition. Le plus exceptionnel reste la vue donnant sur la forêt immense jusqu’à l’océan ! Vous pouvez profiter de cette vue en mangeant un excellent repas fait maison, ainsi que depuis les chambres ! Je recommande

Это очень красивое место в горах, из каждого домика открывается вид на долину и гору. Также у каждого домика есть отдельный санузел и в нём даже горячая вода. При гостинице работает ресторан, в нём небольшой ассортимент, но готовят всё очень вкусно и недорого.

Il pleuvait et on était dans les nuages quand on y était mais il y a une magnifique vue des chambres, chaque chambre est une petite cabane avec sa salle de bain attenante, le soir bonjour les limaces mais uniquement dans la salle de bain, il fait assez frais la nuit donc prévoir un pull, c'est une cabane donc il faut s'attendre à entendre les voisins. le lit est confortable. Nous avons loué un scooter à un local par l'intermédiaire de l'hôte, nous n'avons pas eu de problème mais attention car en cas de problème, c'est uniquement entre nous et le propriétaire du scooter.

Nous avons voulu tester la cuisine mais avons été déçu car le poulet servis était avarié... l'hôte s'en est excusé et nous n'avons pas payé le repas. Nous sommes assez loins de tous, pas de restaurant aux alentours donc il faut impérativement un scooter. Il y a une affiche disant qu'il n'y a pas de GRAB et qu'ils proposent d'appeler des taxis avec une liste de destination avec leur prix (qui sont le double voir le triple que sur GRAB). Nous vous conseillons pour votre départ de l'hébergement de d'abord regarder sur l'application car le jour de notre départ nous avons trouvé un Grab en 2 min pour rejoindre Sanur.

The place is just amazing - the view is breathtaking, the staff is soo kind, even do like little traditional pancakes in the morning. There is always free tea and coffee, hot shower, wifi.

Emplacement en haut d'une montagne, cadre atypique, dépaysant, petite cabane de bambou avec vue sur la vallée embrumée. Ambiance chaleureuse, calme. Accessible si vous avez votre propre moyen de déplacement.
