Très bien nous avons passé un très bon séjour!

Otroligt fint läge. Mysig, rymlig och bekväm stuga.

Mökki oli mukava ja rauhallinen.

Schöne Lage etwas erhöht mit toller Weitsicht. Sehr nette Gastgeber, Auto durften wir kostenlos laden, ebenfalls Wäsche waschen.

Küche dürfte sauberer sein…..

Mökki on tilava. Sijainti on hyvä ja maisemat on mahtavat.

Mökin siisteys hieman huono. Astianpesukone puuttuu.

Omistajaperheen vieraanvaraisuus ja joustavuus oli tasolla, johon harvoin törmää. Emme hoksanneet, että kaupat ovat sunnuntaisin kiinni, mutta Haakon loihti meille päivällisen tykötarpeet sillä aikaa, kun olimme vaeltamassa. Lisäksi ratsastusmahdollisuus järjestyi lyhyellä varoitusajalla, siitä kiitos Audille! Huoneistot olivat tilavia ja sisustettuja eri mantereiden teemoilla. Ja Haakonin tarinoita oli hieno kuunnella, ei ole montaa majoitusta sellaisella historialla.

The host, lovely hut, just a perfect stay

Rooms were not clean enough

Good for a stop when coming down from Alta and do some hiking in Lyngenalps. Nice views.

Cabin could have been cleaned better. Dog hair all over the couch.

The atmosphere of the Viking cottages was wonderful. The cottages were surrounded by beautiful mountains and the landscape was amazing. There were owners two dogs and horses in the yard. In addition, there was a dog park near the cottages that was free to use.

The weather was really warm and it was really hot in the cottage. We couldn't keep the doors and windows open because of the dog.

Sijainti oli loistava. Mökki oli tilava. Lampaat ja hevoset tontilla olivat mukavia, samoin kaksi pientä valkoista koiraa.

Mökissä olisi saanut olla ilmastointi ja astianpesukone. Jääkaapissa olisi saanut olla pakastuslokero.

The cabins were well equipped, and comfortable. The best feature were the large windows in the living room, which gave us an amazing view.

I would have preferred a double bed rather than all single beds.

The place is beautiful and perfect. The host family is amazing and helpful in every way.

I loved everything about the place.

The owners Jurgen and his family were super kind and accommodating. All our requests were met with a friendly and kind gesture to see that our every need was met.

The house Cando with more lighting inside since we only had abt 3 to 4hrs daylight outside as a South African we found it a little intimidating in the dark. But all in all it was amazing

Very cozy, kind and friendly host. Each cabin has concept for ornaments which coming from all around the world that the host visited for his work. Some might say you would not like it if you have modern taste, but even though you cannot deny all the furniture is well maintained, warm, clean cabins they have. No one will not regret to stay here. Plus, congratulations on your retirement!!!

Great place to explore the area! The wooden cabins are like in a fairy tale. Haakon was extremely helpful and gave us excellent suggestions on how to maximise our stay!

The door to the balcony didn't lock properly. No option for vegetarian food if you choose to eat there.

The cabins were spacious and beautiful inside and and in a special location with the porch overlooking the fjord and mountains. We loved hearing Haakon’s stories. The meals they prepared for us were excellent.

Great cabins in a very good location, 10 min drive from shops and supermarket, the can is cozy , clean , comfortable sitting area and beds, with gteat view. The host are great with lots of information about the area and not only. Also we had delicious dinners! Absolutely recommended place to stay

A little bit lack of kitchen equipment, but was not very big issue for us

This was an exceptional space for a group of friends and the breakfast and dinner provided were wonderful. It was a unique experience.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. The perfect starting point for exploring the Lyngen Alps. Pleasant and helpful host. I believe we will come back here again soon.

Maybe some dishes could be newer. But it wasn't a problem.

Location of the cabis was really beautiful and peacefull. There was really nice landscapes and there was allso sheeps at the yard.

We didint find any water for the Sauna, so we couldnt use it. But The Sauna wasnt our priority number one.

Nice place for staying in the Lyngen Alps. The house is spacious and comfortable with kitchen and bathroom and wonderful view to the mountains. There are a lot places for trekking, mountains, glaciers, lakes. A beautiful large waterfall is located in fifteen minutes walk from the house. It takes fifteen minutes to get to the nearest supermarket by car. We are really enjoyed staying here!

Location on Lyngen Peninsula perfect. Large and good equipped cottage.

Viking cabins is a great place. We had the big house (Artic lodge) in the winter (March). The house is very cosy, also in the wintertime, a stove e.g. would add on to the great feeling already. There is everything (e.g. in the kitchen) there to have a happy stay, if you are nine people (which the house would host) maybe one bathroom is a bit scarce. The house really, also from the outside has a very specialö ambiente. It is close to many interesting points inthe Lyngen Alps. You only don't have a view, as it is located half in the forest. The other four smaller cabins have a great view from the hill to the coast and the Lyngen Alps. Haakon is a phantastic host with endless knowledge on everything. You can end up in his viking-hall-bureau, which is overwhelming itself, discussing the world up and down. It's a great pleasure staying at Haakons place, therefore we already come back this summer. Maybe then we will use the sauna in the sauna-house, which we missed out in March. On our last evening we finally saw phantastic nortern lights right in fron of the cabin!

I can't imagine anything really worth mentioning. Maybe a stove is missing, or a view into the landscape from the living-room, but nothing much else.

Upon arrival at Viking Cabins we were warmly greeted by the host. He is one of the calmest and most welcoming people we ever met, he even printed out a list of activities we could do in the area. The property has everything you need and has some beautiful joinery, you feel like you're in a fairytale! We were awestruck by the scenery and the peace that was surrounding us. We saw the Northern Lights 2 out of 3 nights that we were there at the beginning of January. It was a beautiful experience and we're already planning to go back.
