We loved our stay in the midst of the vineyards and apple trees at the door. The property has everything you could possibly need and is centrally located for winery visits in the district. The hosts were lovely and really do make everything possible to enjoy your stay.

Exceptional stay. Perfect cottage experience with stunning vineyard vista and accompanying gardens. Nothing not to love - newly furnished to the highest standards with quality bedding and super soft comfy bed. Bathroom is spacious, modern, thick soft towels - heated towel rails, and huge shower suitable for disabled access. Outdoor table and chairs plus bbq to further enhance the serenity and space. Cleaned and maintained perfectly throughout. Thanks Liz and Bob for providing the perfect experience. We will return.

This little bungalow is surrounded by vineyards. It is clean, comfortable and very peaceful. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Such a beautiful place to stay in amongst the vines. Excellent facility with everything you need to make a meal and have a relaxed view of the vineyard.

The location is so serene, just amazing views and the sounds of the sheep and birds was lovey. The bed was very comfy and the cottage was very well equipped. Liz was a fantastic host.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Super clean. Lovely hosts. Even sketched out a floor plan to take away!

Liz and Bob were super accommodating and have everything you need at the property - the plunger coffee was delish, we had coffee in the backyard looking into the vineyard and it was lovely! Location is also great, we rented bikes from down the street and did some wine tastings which were close by!

Honestly the only thing that I would add is screens for the windows and doors, we let the window be open but brought in a few flies which didn’t bother us, but might be nice for other guests :)

Vineyard Cottage is a clean, well-tended and comfortable homestay in a beautiful setting of vines and distant hills. It contains absolutely everything one might need for a short or long stay and, most generously, even has some breakfast foods available. Our hosts, Liz and Bob, were extremely pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed staying in such close proximity to many of the Blenheim wineries. We would definitely choose to stay at Vineyard Cottage again.

Perfect place for starting our South Island trip! We walked out the back door, surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the distance, with birds singing . . . what a lovely spot! We were just down the road for our bicycle winery tour the next day - and they picked us up right at the front door. Highly recommended!

It's a small thing I know, but I did think that being out in country and not just a walk down the road to cafe, I would have loved to have a basic Nespresso coffee machine with a few pods for guests to make a decent coffee. These days other than our friends in the US I don't know of anyone who uses a plunger anymore and a basic Nespresso isn't very expensive. Or maybe it's just me lol 'cos I say this a lot wherever we stay. Other than that the cottage was great!

Beautiful property in a vineyard - absolutely lovely setting and sunrise views in the morning. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay in the cottage and the closeness to surrounding winery’s was perfect.

Liz and Bob provided a beautiful cottage with all the amenities needed for a really comfortable stay. The cottage was really clean with plenty of room for a couple. The outlook into the vineyard from the back door was spectacular.

This was our favourite out of all the places we stayed in New Zealand. Everything was perfect. The location is stunning and so quiet. The cottage was so comfortable and equipped with everything you could need and our hosts were charming and very helpful. We wished we had booked for a week, and if we return to New Zealand, it will be the first place that we make sure we book.

Everything about this cottage was amazing. The location, the lovely host couple, the cottage itself- we loved it! I can't think of anything I would change. Such a peaceful setting among the vines, with wonderful views of the night sky as well. Had everything we needed in stock. Cozy, clean and comfortable. We'd love to come back. Highly recommend!

Excellent location - nestled away from the main road and facing a beautiful vineyard. Communication with Liz was excellent all along the process. Unit was very clean and kitchen utensils and cookware were very cleanl. The heat source for the entire living area is a space heater/faux fireplace in the living room. For the most part, adequate heat was distributed. However, it might be good during colder months to have a separate space heater in the bedroom. Also, I should have read the property description a bit closer in that there is a washer but no dryer. We did resort to hanging wash on the line outside to dry and made it through okay!

It was so comfortable with amazing hosts. You could not get a more central position to go to Blenheim, Picton, Marlborough Sound or anywhere for the wineries on the “Golden Mile”. A picturesque cottage with gorgeous scenery right in the middle of vineyards.

This guest house is perfection if you wish to stay for some days in the Marlborough wine region! It is very well equipped, and feels really cosy and comfortable. It is also perfectly located if you want to visit some of the vineyards that are close by. We would not hesitate to come back.

Everything was perfect!

Liz was an exceptional host! Friendly, accommodating, and generous. She and Bob gave us apples from their trees. It was interesting to see the way the grapes from their vineyard were harvested, although the trucks were a bit loud and started early. Nothing that our hosts could have helped on that, though. Location was fabulous. Although it was quite a way outside of Blenheim town, it was very close to so many wineries. Beautiful, modern cottage, extremely well equipped kitchen and lovely decor. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We had a very hard time finding it, because there is no sign on the road. Look for the address on the mailbox.

This very well equipped property is in a beautiful location, surrounded by vineyards. Ideally situated to explore the Blenheim area. The contact with our host was first class and we felt very well looked after.

Stayed 6 nights and like home from home. Lovely hosts and great location. Easy walk to Nautilus vineyard, Huia, No 1, and vine village (whitehaven). Great BBQ and views of vines and hills in background.

Arriving at the cottage felt like arriving home after our trip down the North Island. We had a warm welcome from Liz and everything we needed was provided inside. The cottage is nestled in the vines of the Marlborough Region with lovely views from the outside patio. We wish we'd booked longer and didnt want to leave. Ideal location to visit the Cellar Door wine tasting experiences on foot. Very useful washing machine and washing line!

What an amazing location, right in amongst the vines on the Golden Mile! We had our own chalet with cooking facilities and lounge with TV. It's the perfect location for exploring all the vineyards in Blenheim. We had such a relaxing time there and even ate in on a couple of nights and sat in the garden as it was such a nice location!

It was a fully equipped house, it was a home away from home. Everything you wanted and more.

Wonderful in every respect. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect retreat whilst in the Marlborough region.

So much. Everything. Beyond expectations and hopes! Every detail is exceptional and this is clearly loved, cared for and respected. Please read on, but just book this place, you've finished your search here. Firstly, this is a cottage literally on the vineyard, you walk down a vine lined driveway to this beautiful cottage off the main road. It's far enough that all you can hear is the many birds singing during the day! The place is immaculate, I cannot stress this enough, I had to double check to see how far the reviews went back, because this cottage looked brand new. It was stunning! The kitchen had all the cutlery and cooking equipment you need, a full sized fridge, the tap water is UV filtered so it was really nice to drink from. Theres a dishwasher and washing machine. The air conditioning unit works quickly and is powerful! The carpet is plush and throughout it feels brand new. The bathroom was spotless and large, the shower is huge! has a large shower head, with a lot of water pressure and a towel warmer! The switches are even labelled, again attention to detail and cared for! There are bath towels, hand towels and face cloths provided and also feel new!! The bedroom, it has lots of room, two wardrobes, a long mirror, ample plugs throughout. The bed is the best bit, its firm and so so comfortable with two pillows on each side. It's a king size bed which is an added bonus. The owners are phenomenal, like none I've ever met, happy to help and communicate prior to arrival, helped to book our train transfer and taxi back out again after our stay, we felt that we could ask them at any point for help and they'd help! We booked a wine tour through them too, Jade Tours, it was the highlight of our trip in Blenheim. The tour is not to be missed! Their recommendations are transparent and genuine. The best bit, the garden.

I'm lost for words here. I'm trying to constructively think of something that could be improved.. but honestly, nothing. This cottage blew me and my fiance away from them moment we got dropped off at the entrance.

A delightful conversion set amongst the vines with lovely views, all on one level but with everything one needs including a washing machine. Very friendly hosts and ideally situated for a cycle tour around the vineyards.

We loved staying at the cottage. It was impeccably clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It's location is quiet and central, right in the heart of the vineyards with a gorgeous view from the garden. We will recommend the cottage to friends and family!

We were really looking forward to the three days in 'Marlborough' and selected this stay because of location. Apart from less than perfect weather it was everything we had hoped to find. Facility enabled us to unwind after a hectic few days and being able to do a BBQ rather than eating out again was a real plus. Winery tour was also excellent. We rate lots of things on this trip and this stay is highly placed. In individual category ratings the bath towels are now rated no 1

Liz & Bob were wonderful hosts. Being in the middle of a beautiful vineyard in the middle of the Malbourough wine region was absolutely wonderful, so close to the Wineries, great restaurants and beautiful views. The accommodation was so warm, clean and comfortable with little extras and touches which made our stay perfect. A self contained unit which was quite modern, very comfortable bed !! Would recommend at least 3-4 nights stay to explore the region.

After a long g drive it was wonderful to receive a warm welcome from our hosts. The location was perfect, set in a budding vineyard with rolling hills in the background.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful vineyard about 15mins drive from Blenheim. Perfect if you want to explore the area or if you're looking for a place to stay for longer. Well equipped kitchen which also includes a washing machine. We felt right at home.

The bed is a bit on her harder side, but that's more a personal preference and not a dislike.

Perfect location for the quiet, relaxing few days we needed. Lots of great little touches that gave it a homely feel not just another motel or hotel room

What a perfect getaway accommodation! Will also be perfect for a longer stay!! House has everything you would need. They have thought about every detail. Its home away from home! We were super happy to wash our clothes after 2 weeks of travelling! And what a view from every window!! Perfect location to hire some bicycles and visit cellar doors around, or even walk like we did! Liz and Bob are perfect host! Starting from the small gesture of asking us about our milk preference to coming to say hello and goodbye. They are very friendly and full of knowledge about the area and made us feel very welcomed! (We want to be adopted) 😜 Thank you for everything and we definitely will stay there again next time we come back to New Zealand.
