FORMIDABLE séjour au Hidden Valley !  Tout le personnel est aux petits soins, le logement est propre avec une vue magnifique, les repas sont exquis avec des produits frais de leur jardin. Ne loupez pas cet établissement si vous êtes de passage à Siquijor. Les chats et les chiens sont adorables. Ça se voit qu'eux aussi ils sont heureux au Hidden Valley ! Merci pour ce magnifique séjour !

Nice comfortable getaway high up overlooking ocean a few kilometers away. Cool breeze with clean air. WiFi, Shower, aircon all good. French press coffee for 80 pp. Light beer 100 pp. tasty Swiss breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and jam.

Early riser wishes breakfast started earlier than 8.

The location was in a quiet valley with beautiful trees and flowers (and cats 🙂). The food was outstanding with the fish curry being our favorite. We slept the best in the very quiet room with a super.comfy bed. And the absolute best part of this property is the attentive and kind staff, especially Karen.

Desolee c’est la 1ere fois que j’ai un tel soucis avec une reservation par Booking. A la base j’ai reserve 2 nuits. Malheureusement j’ai rate la 1ere nuit du a l’annulation des ferry bohol/siquijor. C’est la faute de personne bien sur. Par contre pour la 2eme nuit j’arrive pour mon check in et le staff m’annonce qu’il est difficile de me recevoir car il n’y a plus d’electricite depuis 3 jours. Donc pour un hotel situé en pleine campagne, pas de commodites, restaurant fermé (rien autour a des kilometres)…. Le proprietaire s’excuse par telephone (car pas present) et m’assure me rembourser etant donne que je dois partir. Donc trouver un autre hotel a la derniere minute et en plus je n’ai eu AUCUN REMBOURSEMENT. Il me dit avoir envoyé l’info a booking mais c’est faux. En plus cela m’a couté en plus un taxi retour et un hotel plus cher… MERCI A CE PROPRIETAIRE MENTEUR ET MALHONNETE.

A peaceful little gem in the mountains with a beautiful sea view. The restaurant serves excellent food, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the service was warm and personal. A lovely alternative to the beach resorts. I would happily come back!

As an early riser, I would have appreciated the option to make a cup of coffee or tea in the room, as the cozy little restaurant only opens at 8 a.m.

Bel emplacement un peu en hauteur, bien placé au milieu de l’île pour visiter les plages, cascades et autres de l’île qui est assez petite Prix en adéquation avec la qualité du lieu. Belle vue et beaux couchers de soleil, chambre bien équipée et adaptée, petite terrasse avec hamac. Personnel très gentil et compétent. Très bon restaurant avec portions généreuses et des plats phare de plusieurs pays asiatiques.

Alles war super. Das Essen im Restaurant ist auch Klasse! Wir haben hier jeden Morgen und Abend gegessen. Wir empfehlen definitiv einen Scooter zu mieten, da man ansonsten nicht wirklich frei im Transport ist.

Es sollte eine Standlampe im Zimmer geben, da es momentan nur die Deckenlampe gibt.

Le personnel !!! On se sent à la maison tellement on se sent entourés de tant d'attention et de bienveillance. Notre séjour à Hidden Valley a été le plus marquant de nos vacances aux Philippines. Le restaurant est tenu par la chef Meg, qui a un très haut niveau en cuisine. C'est beau, bon et très copieux. Il y a beaucoup de choix, de quoi trouver de quoi se régaler si on reste plusieurs jours. Le lieu est un peu isolé mais il y a beaucoup de choses à découvrir aux alentours soit en scooter soit en tuk tuk. Nous avons pris un tuk tuk avec notre chauffeur Patrick. Il est extrêmement professionnel, d'une grande gentillesse, et surtout à l'écoute. Il nous a emmené dans des endroits que nous n'aurions jamais découvert par nous même. Les chambres sont sans vis-à-vis, au calme et dans un bel écrin de verdure. Merci à tous, Honey et Karen pour votre accueil et belles discussions, Richard le gérant et tous les autres qui ont contribué à notre séjour qui fût mémorable. La première fois nous sommes venus pour visiter Siquijor. La deuxième fois sera pour revoir l'équipe ainsi que Meg & Richard. Merci pour toutes ces attentions !!

The view is insane! Me and my wife stayed for 3 days and would've stayed way longer. The food is absolutely amazing, cooked with so much love and very estheticly pleasing. It's a small piece of paradise and the staff are very kind . Totally recommend 👌

La struttura e immersa nella jungla. Il ristorante è superlativo con ottimi piatti e un servizio fantastico, sia per la colazione che per la cena. Lo staff e gentilissimo e sempre pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi cosa. Le camere, anche se molto semplici sono molto spaziose con un grande balcone e patio. Super super consigliato!!!!

The restaurant food, ambience, staff and location all fantastic. If you want a quiet spot in nature to relax after your sightseeing, this is perfect. Beautiful view from our cabin.

Small thing, but the ensuite sliding door was quite squeaky. We weren't able to get our laundry done there, but the staff recommended other laundry services in the nearest town.

The view and the place was very comfortable But the staff was exceptional, and would go out the way to make your stay comfortable. I would book here again :)

Ein gigantischer Ausblick über die Bäume auf das Meer, mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergang. Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Organieren Transfers, Motorrollerverleih, Ausflüge... Sehr ruhig gelegen. Ideal, um mal ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Das Essen im Restaurant ist mega gut. Alles aus frischen Zutaten (größtenteils aus dem eigenen Garten) mit viel Liebe zubereitet).

Richard, seine Frau und alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns die Anlage auch aufgrund des dazugehörigen Restaurants ausgesucht. Unser Plan war es , tagsüber Ausflüge auf der Insel zu machen und abends dort zu essen. Wie sich herausstellte war das die beste Idee überhaupt, denn das Essen war einfach phantastisch! Der Bungalow war sauber und einfach eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Ausblick über den Regenwald auf das Meer. Lediglich ein zweiter Stuhl und ein kleines Tischchen hat uns gefehlt, aber auf Nachfrage bekamen wir diesen Wunsch schnell erfüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The food made by the chef at the restaurant is super good. The rest is also perfect.

Hidden Valley had the best food we ate on our entire trip. The mango pancakes, the bibimbap Korean rice bowl, and so many other dishes were incredible. We ended up eating five meals here in just two days. The views are unbeatable too; it’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the staff are genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming. We loved it.

The accommodations are very simple—not in a bad way—but exactly as shown in the photos, so you know what to expect ahead of time. It’s just good to be aware that the rooms are basic.

We immediately felt at home with them — from the incredible meals (truly the best on the island!) prepared with fresh ingredients from their own garden and served in more-than-generous portions, to the spotless room equipped with a wonderfully silent AC. They gave us excellent recommendations for non-touristic spots to explore and helped us arrange transportation to and from the port, even securing a great deal on a daily scooter rental. The property is beautifully maintained, offers amazing views from the dining area, and shows a genuine respect for animals — a BIG plus for us. A very special mention to all the staff, who were absolutely 10/10 throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place — outstanding value for money!

We felt very welcome at Hidden Valley! The owner and the staff were super friendly and helpfull! They arranged us a scooter and told us about nice places to go. The food of the restaurant was delicious!! The room was clean and nice with great views! Because it's located out of town, It was very quiet and peacefull. When we stayed here, a typhoon passed by, so we had to extend our stay. They took really good care of us, moved us to a safer room, provided us water, snacks, cutlery,... and came to check on us from time to time. They were very helpfull! We would definetly stay here again! Thank you Richard, Che-Che and the rest of the staff!

I absolutely loved everything about this place- the bungalow, the hospitality of the owner and staff, the view, the breakfast, everything! The bungalow far exceeded my expectations and was very clean, spacious, and calming. I really enjoyed lying in the hammock on the balcony and view of the trees and sea. The owner and staff were very hospitable. Because I couldn't drive a motorbike, the owner arranged for a driver for me and a friend and took us around to a lot of spots! Esta es una joya escondida en Siquijor. La casa tiene unas vistas impresionantes desde sus terrazas, por encima del bosque y rodeada de naturaleza. A unos 15-20 minutos de la zona turística de San Juan, vale la pena alejarse del ajetreo, para alojarse aquí, porque además la cocinera es un diez y prepara platos espectaculares a muy buen precio. Todo está muy limpio y tienen unos perros y gatos muy simpáticos. Y qué decir de la recepcionista: Mercy es un diez de profesional, una chica atenta a todas nuestras necesidades y siempre con una sonrisa y buen humor. ¡Gracias por cuidarnos tanto! Nos sentimos como en el paraíso!

Todo fue fantástico. Lo único es que nos perdimos los desayunos porque nos gusta madrugar bastante y no los servían hasta las 8h. Pero con las cenas, estuvimos muy bien servidos! Lo recomendaríamos una y mil veces.

Hidden Valley is such a special place. It was quiet and relaxing and we never felt the need to go anywhere else in the evenings because the food was so spectacular. Great cocktails too! We also enjoyed our chats with our hosts and other guests. The location worked well for us as we wanted to dive at Bahura Divers and visit the waterfalls around Lazi. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

・掲載されている写真は多少誇張されているものと思っていましたが、実際は全く同じロケーションでした。実物は澄んだ空気や動物の鳴き声など写真では伝わらない要素も多く、期待以上の体験でした。ハンモックに寝転んで空と海を眺めているだけで全く退屈しません。 ・設備は清潔で、部屋もお風呂場も全く臭いませんでした。 ・部屋内に飲料可能な水を用意してくれていました。 ・料理はおいしくお酒も豊富な種類があり、日が暮れてからの動線は宿内で完結できます。 ・私は英語が苦手（TOEIC300点レベル）なのですが、オーナーや従業員さんがこちらに合わせてコミュニケーションをとってくれたため困ることはありませんでした。 ・グルテンフリーメニューに対応してもらえました。 ・シャワーはお湯が出ました。 ・少し奥まった場所にありますが、googlemapどおりに進めば到着できます。 ・季節によるのかもしれませんが大きな虫はいませんでした（私が滞在したのは７月です）。あるいは清掃が行き届いているからかもしれません。 ・wi-fiの電波は良好でした。Globeのシムカードはぎりぎり電波が入るくらいでした（シキホール島全般）。 ・アメニティとして歯ブラシ、歯磨き粉、石鹸、シャンプー、バスタオル、ハンドタオルが用意されていました。また、部屋にはドライヤーがあり使用可能でした。

・料理の提供スピードは遅めですがロケーションを眺めながら気長に待てば気になりません。 ・シャワーの水流は弱めですが十分実用可能な範疇です。フィリピンの他の宿も同程度だったのでおそらくここではこれくらいが普通なのだと思います。

If you like to see attractions in the island, it's better to have a scooter

Beautiful hotel in nature in Siquijor. Our room was very spacious - especially for Philippines standards. There was a nice sofa, wardrobe and a terrace with a balcony and arm chair. Did I mention the stunning views from the balcony? The whole property has a “tree house” vibe, providing beautiful views everywhere. The staff was suuuuper friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter and it was all fine. The restaurant is maybe a little bit pricey, but portions are big and the food is VERY good.

The hotel is a bit far off from the main town, so you’ll need to either hire a scooter or tuktuks during your stay. It is, however, close to the main waterfall and very close to Old Enchanted Ballet Tree

Everything was super. Location with the view is great, also the service (in/outchecking / rental of scooter) was super. It is ideal that you can have breakfast and diner at their restrobar.

The staff of Hidden Valley are a true gem - they were very friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with our needs. They even gave us welcome cocktails! The area is also very peaceful, as the property sits in a forest area and is quite secluded. The downside of that, though, is that it's pretty far from other places like tourist sites. It's also hard to access the area if you don't rent your own motorcycle or vehicle. The room itself was great - you get a bungalow to yourself, the bed was big and comfortable, and you have privacy. My only feedback would be the hot shower - it isn't the best, more of lukewarm rather than hot but that's more of a personal preference. Also, the food and cocktails are spectacular, so even if you can't stay here visit their resto!

We practically almost ate most of our breakfast and dinner meals here. Even if you decide to stay somewhere else this place is worth a visit for the food. Meg has been a fantastic host. Her cooking skills are phenomenal. She also accommodated to few special request (ie softer pillows, early breakfast, transport to the port). Her son Sebastian, the cats, the dogs add so much to the homy experience. Feels like you’re not a guest but part of the house.

If we had to choose, one of the staff forgot our motorbike request. But they resolved it right away.

The rural quiet situation over looking forest. Best food I have had for months. Friendly staff. Feeling of safety. Hire of scooter to explore the small island. Very reasonably priced. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the trees.

Hidden Valley is a real gem for those seeking a relaxing paradise stay away from the mainstream tourism. Here you can truly relax. The bed is superb, the staff as well as the owner friendly and attentive. The restaurant area offers spectacular views as well as really good meals (the best we had during a whole month in the Philippines) and friendly service. Eating here is truly a joy. If you want to explore the island you can rent a scooter here for a good price. Expetional value for money! If I come back to Siquijor I will book this place again!

The owners and staff are some of the nicest people you will meet on your travels, and the food served by Meg is by far the best we ate not only in Siquijor but during our entire 3-week trip in the Philippines. The rooms are simple but very decent, and the general chilled atmosphere of the place makes it a must-stop when driving around the island.

It was so authentic, so calm and peaceful ! The view is breathtaking and the staff is so nice! Not to mention the food: AMAZING!

The food! Oh my, I cannot put into words how amazing the food is. Meg is an amazing Chef. So much so that we ate here for most meals (something we never do!) Everyone we spoke to said it’s the best food on the island and we were lucky enough to be staying here. The view is stunning, especially at sunset. The team is fabulous, special shout out to Honey and Angel for taking such good care of us and Richard of course for, well, pretty much sorting everything including advice for our onward travels. The location is out of the hustle and bustle but everything is easily accessible by bike (which Richard can sort for you). And last but not least, Sebastian, what a quirky and wonderful soul. Thank you. I really hope we’ll be back.

Everything fantastic! The setting is amazing in a beautiful area of Siquijor, with great sunrise and sunset views. The accommodation is brilliant, and the food is absolutely amazing and suits everyone. Richard and Meg can also help arrange everything for you, such as trip recommendations, transport, and scooter rental. Highly recommended if you are visiting Siquijor. And if you are already staying elsewhere, definitely visit their restaurant!:)

charming cottage in the middle of nowhere, you can only hear the animals and insects sounds during the morning, evening or night, splendid view to the sea, magical sunsets and best food ever in my stay at the Philippines From Richard and his wife ( the actual star chef of this place ) to the girls Angel and Honey, that always been smiling and treating me like family, I could not express my happiness and gratitude for my stay with them, this place will see definitely make you fel better trust me. I have eating breakfast and dinner during my 5 days there and every plate and dish were just Delicious. Richard had already a moto ready for me to discover the island during my stay and he did picked me up from the port. I will definitely come back sometimes in the future but also recommend everyone to stay there at least once in life.

Serene place. Amazing owner and staff, they make sure that everything is fine. Great food in the restaurant and many selections too. Very quiet and secluded location. The view from the room is just perfect. Close to many attractions.

Few things to note that it is not an issue for me since I rented a motorbike, but maybe the location since it was far from San Juan where most of the restaurants are located. Also the road at night going to the place, some parts might be too dark. Last, would be having a generator since there are some power interruptions here and there.

The food was the highlight of our stay! Meg is a ridiculously good cook. Even if you don't stay here, eat here! Best food we had in the Philippines. By far. The view while we ate our food was pretty spectacular as well. The room was large and clean and they cleaned it daily which was great. Staff is super friendly.

Water pressure was low.

The cottage is really big and has enough space for two and even a big terrace with a chair and a hammock. You even get toothpaste, a toothbrush and soaps. It's really clean, dark enough, when you close the curtains (I recommend to open them a little bit before going to bed: you'll wake up in the morning with a perfect view of the forest and the sea!!! Astonishing!!! It's a calm place what I really liked! It's definitely not expensive and worth every peso! The staff and the owners are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. One of the best places I've EVER been! I hope to come back some day! And the food is the BEST on the island! Go for diner and enjoy the BEST PAD THAI while enjoying a wonderful sunset!
