Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Nos han atendido con mucho cariño en las instalaciones. Se siente un lugar muy tranquilo y es super seguro. Yola es una gran host y estamos muy contentos de haberla conocido. No pierdan la oportunidad de ir al refugio si quieres desconectarte de la ciudad.
Hace mucho frio. Lo mejor es que lleven ropa adecuada en caso que llueva. Para ir a los restaurantes debes pedir taxis. Queda un poco lejos en caso de ir caminando.

Estuve solo dos noches y me pude bañar solo el día en que llegué. Cada cabaña tiene un tanque de gas para el agua caliente y la propietaria no revisa su mantenimiento y experimenta con los huéspedes a ver cuándo se acaba el gas. Mi pareja tuvo una emergencia femenina a la medianoche, no había agua caliente para bañarse, y lo que pensamos que era una falla, era simple negligencia o ventaja de la propietaria para no cambiar el tanque de gas. 1 mes de antelación tenía la reserva para solo estar 2 noches. El día que nos íbamos, la señora trató de cambiar el gas a toda velocidad, ya nosotros estábamos incómodos por no poder bañarnos y así nos fuimos a buscar un baño urgente en Bogotá. La ausencia de agua caliente en un lugar tan frío hizo poco agradable la estancia.

Reviewed Dec 7, 2025El desayuno estuvo espectacular. La atención cálida y personalizada de Ana Isabel no tiene comparación. La chimenea funciona perfectamente y es una compañía muy agradable para la noche. El alojamiento tiene unos ventanales amplios que permiten apreciar la naturaleza.
Realmente no se puede mencionar algo que hubiera podido ser mejor. El alojamiento amplio, amoblado con todo lo necesario, en medio de las montañas, plenas de aire puro es justo lo que esperábamos.

The location is great, just outside Bogota in the beautiful La Calera region. The room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. There is also a clean spa room with a sauna and massage table.

Reviewed May 28, 2024Ana and her sister Yola run an excellent hotel. There are several cabins with glass walls and fireplaces. It's very tranquil and only a short walk from the river. There are plenty of nice restaurants with great views within walking distance of Anas Cabins. She was also able to recommend horse riding for us nearby. There are buses on the street that will take you directly into the city and back to the cabins. You literally just hop on any bus, and they all go in the same direction since there is only one main road. Everything was very easy to navigate and felt very safe.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2024This place is a wonderful, peaceful lodge-complex, which is perfectly blended into the nature to get yourself a peace of mind. After being 3 1/2 months of travel around the South American continent, with combined 19 different places in 6 countries, it was the perfect conclusion after this time, also due to the hospitality of Ana, Jaime etc., as well as the tranquility (no TV, no sounds of the rush of a big city). The fireplace, the sounds of the birds are the perfect fit, to load your battery, if that is what you're looking. If we were ever again to end up in Bogota, this is where we will staying, it will exist as a very pleasant memory for our time in South America. Titué Refugio, Cabañas is a place you have to experience by yourself; words are not enough to describe it... (PARADISE could be one ❤️)

There is no full, complete, Kitchen.No coffee pot, no stove and no oven. There is also no washing machine in the Cabana. I was offered to go and do my laundry somewhere else.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2023They offer beakfast, lunch and dinner, but due to they do not have restaurant, guest should book before to they can prepare early and have it ready for meals.
Chimney for heating is not a comfortable thing. We live in a sunny and very hot city thus we need something extra for heating at night. Smoke produced by the chimney was unpleasant and could not be controlled. For sleeping, it is not a good idea to light the fireplace. however, the folling days we didnt use and we didnt need it. bed and blankets provide sufficient warmth at night.
