The ceiling was peeling off the, curtain rails were falling, the shower door was leaking meaning after a shower the whole floor gets wet, the fridge is very small the channels on the TV are too little

What I found unpleasant to me was that the TV in the room was not showing pictures. When tv was switched on it could not show pictures. Unfortunately, it was just me with no tv to watch.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Well I like ivory lodge that is why I normally book with them to just take a break even if my house is 2 blocks away but the last 2 visits was a downgrade. The aircons is not working like they are supposed to and the TV and aircon remotes have no batteries in them. The towels are so used up and thin you can almost see tru them. Out of all the lights only one had a globe that was working properly. The bathroom blinds are messed up, everyone passing by can see in also the vindow can't close properly. I also feel that the owner can look into it for microwaves in the room. It's a real hassle. And maybe start looking at smart Tv's since we are in 2026.

Bathroom ceiling and walls had lots of mould. Basin tap pedestal so loose had to hold it to turn water on. Run down, needs a revamp. Parking filled by patrons of the weed club. Thumping music, revving cars and noisy club patrons.

There is a smell of mould/sewer in the room i was at. Fix the bathroom door at Room 6 or 16 don't remember, it locked me in, if I was alone I don't know what i would've done.

The TV was advertised as cable, but only had access to one channel and the remote didn't work on TV, so had to buy a HDMI cable to link my own laptop to operate TV propperly. The bathroom also didn't have anything covering the window, so when you shower everyone can see in from the parking lot outside the bathroom.

The bathrooms have mold everywhere. Shower curtains also unclean. Towels are dirty. The mattress wasn't covered. They just put a fitted sheet only. We also spotted a few cockroaches. I've been staying at Ivory lodge for a fews years but lately it's becoming uncomfortable.

I was in room 10 it stinks the blankets stinks everything stinks the bathroom ceiling has mold the shower has fungus all over the taps rusted the toilet inside is rusted.Room 10 needs a whole renovation it's dirty stinking the fridge is old it's stinking it needs to be demolished and built it over again.what a waste of money.They did false advertising be careful do not use room 10 all pictures you see on internet it's actually the opposite
