Treehouse de Valentine

De sfeer en comfort van de 'Dome' (grote ronde luxetent) was ongelooflijk, zo mooi als op de foto's op de site is het echt, en veel ruimer dan we dachten. Op het terrein loopt een beekje, ook een prachtplek. De service is geweldig.

Een minimaal minpuntje is dat de dome wel dicht bij de weg ligt, dus door de junglegeluiden kan je af en toe brommers of vrachtwagens horen.

Ik vind de locatie heel mooi in de nature. Het huisje is heel knus en prachtig.

De aircon is niet voldoende omdat het huis niet goed is geïsoleerd. Er zijn veel gaten in de muur. Daardoor is het verblijf in de treehouse niet prettig. De bedden zijn aan de korte kant. De pull out bedden zijn alleen geschikt voor iemand met de lengte tot 150 cm. De pool is niet fijn om te zwemmen omdat er stenen zijn op de bodem en het ziet er niet schoon uit.

The 2-3 hr car ride from Cebu city is thoroughly worth it once you step foot on this property. We stayed in the treehouse and also the Dome but have to say the treehouse is absolutely amazing. In saying that the Dome is huge but our favourite has to be the treehouse.

Beautiful location. The treehouse is just perfect, a really unique place to stay. Comfortable and with everything you would need for a couple of nights away. Staff are friendly. Food is really good.

The air conditioner compressor was mounted directly under the bed resulting in strong vibrations in the downstairs bed. The owner subsequently confirmed that the compressor has been relocated to the ground Air conditioner is underpowered for the space if you are looking for 20°. Considering the extraordinary efforts put into the design and amenities, I am guessing they will upgrade this very soon.

I like the priperty because the owner is so accomodating..the place is peaceful. The staff responded immediately for any request and they gave us the best experience without hassle

Such a spectacular, natural setting, so peaceful with the sounds of the river, birds and nature. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the bungalow we stayed in had all the comforts of a high quality hotel. We enjoyed our private outdoor patio overlooking the river, such a special place to relax. The dinner we ordered was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Staying at Treehouse de Valentine was an experience we will always treasure and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

L'endroit est reposant et magnifiquement agencé. La literie est comfortable. La douche privée en extérieur est originale et très bonne. Le logement est spacieux. Le jacuzzi avec sa vue vallait le détour.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas suffisant (pas de vrai café pressé, le jus d'orange était très amère et il n'y avait pas trop de choix). L'hôtel est très loin du centre. Il faudra donc passer par l'hôte pour les repas et pour les transports car il n'y a pas de grab ou indrive. A titre d'exemple, nous avons payé 11000 pesos pour 2 depuis le port (aller) et vers l'aéroport de CEBU (retour).

Beautiful experience. The running water was lovely and being outdoors but also having an indoor space where you had a wonderful view of outside was great. It was a very unique experience and I would recommend it. Also the food was delicious, some of the best we’ve had in the Philippines so far, and great value for money.

The drive there was quite dangerous and scary, not sure it was worth the 2hour to and from trip. Also the host says they are there whenever you need them, but simple questions and requests would take an hour or so to get a response. So not very good communication.

Incredible tree houses and location in the rain forest with the river. Very friendly and helpful staff, even meeting us with umbrellas at the car as we turned up in the middle of a tropical downpour.

Beautiful place in the mountains.

The breakfast is good and well prepared. The staff and owner are very accommodating. Worth it for staycation.

It’s a beautiful and serene place, however this applies only to treehouses. We booked the dome, but because one treehouse was available we were offered to spend a night there. I saw some opinions that the stream below is very loud. It is loud but it creates a great white noise masking every sound coming from the road above. The staff was extremely friendly, responsive and attentive. Had no problems with communication via booking and WhatsApp. The food was good and delivered to the room. we highly recommend the massage as it was done extremely well and it’s cheap. There’s internet on site (starling), but otherwise there’s no cell service. Some people complained on the transfer cost. Yes, it’s not cheap, but is 2,5h drive from Cebu airport. So that justifies the price. One day trip was organized well - no complains. I highly recommend both snorkeling and canyonering. Great place but don’t book the dome unless you’re ok with the noise. See below.

The dome is far from the stream and it’s not soundproof (it’s a large tent in the end). So you can hear motorcycles, cars passing by, honking. And it starts at 5am. Same for chickens clucking and roosters crowing from neighbors house. You definitely need air plugs. I still give this place a very high rating, but if you’re sensitive to noise do not book the Dome. And we lost power last night and the generator was on the entire night. And it was loud…

スタッフのホスピタリティから整った設備と清潔なお部屋、そして素晴らしいロケーション。全てに感動を与えてくれました。写真の通りジャングルの中にあり、常に非日常感と最高の癒しを感じることが出来ます。セブ島に来たら絶対に泊まって欲しいホテルです。

ホテル自体に悪い点はありません。セブシティから少し遠く行くのに大変なぐらいです。でも安心してください。ホテルの方が様々な交通手段のプランを考えてくれますよ！

Incredible place, like once in a lifetime kind of place. We stayed in treehouse number 2 with the bubble bath and it was honeymoon worthy!

The sound of the river is loud, very loud. Not something the owners can do anything about but just bring your earplugs. :-)

Romantic, secluded and an absolutely beautiful set up! Very helpful staff and the landscape is dreamy. The treehouse and the dome provided an incredible experience.

Schöne, einzigartige Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein kleines Treehouse, es gab kaum Platz um 2 Koffer zu öffnen, aber war dennoch sehr schön. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr nett und das Essen gut und wirklich grosse Portionen.

Insgesamt etwas zu teuer für die Leistung. Der Transfer war zwar unkompliziert und angenehm aber ebenfalls hochpreisig im Vergleich. Schade, dass das Bad nur mit einem Vorhang vom restlichen Zimmer abgetrennt ist. Da meine Begleitung eine Magenverstimmung hatte, war das ziemlich unangenehm ohne Tür zum Bad.

Las camas son muy pequeñas para dormir 2 personas. Todo esta en el mismo espacio y no hay cortinas con que entra ya a la madrugada mucha luz. Hay que tener cuidado con las puertas sino entran muchos mosquitos y solo una cama tiene mosquitero. Se escucha muy fuerte el ruido del rio (parece que esta lloviendo fuerte todo el día).

Se escuchaba el ruido de los motos en la carretera. La comido podria ser mejor. Las pizzas eran prefabricadas, pollo no estaba bien cocido y durante las vacaciones hemos comido mucho mejor en otros lugares

Staffs are very kind to us! Thank you for bringing our carrying bags from our car and always taking care. Also, even though the break fast menu was different from our order, the meal was awesome. Finally, DOME HOUSE was super!

Wir konnten leider auf Grund von einer Verschiebung unseres Fluges den Aufenthalt nicht wahrnehmen. Daher können wir nur den Kontakt und die Kulanz bewerten, die aber sehr toll waren. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und die Antworten kamen immer sehr schnell. Das Hotel kam uns trotz kurzfristiger Absage entgegen was es nicht gemusst hätte. Wir wären sehr gerne gekommen und sind traurig, dass es diesmal nicht geklappt hat.

Amazing place in the middle of nowhere - it's a perfect getaway, with beautiful surroundings, and a great combination of both treehouse vibe and luxury. The food and the staff were fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

The cottages are not perfectly isolated, meaning that some of the air conditioning cooling is lost. It is also a fairly loud place due to the river just outside - perhaps we were unlucky with the strong current, and we are aware that this is one of the trade-offs when staying in such a wild place. Also, some kind of a storage for luggage would be useful, cause it is difficult to contain everything in an organised way.

Treehouse de Valentine was an amazing relaxing experience in the middle.of the forest, om the mountain river shore in the Balamban. We wanted a remote getaway to take a break from island hopping in the middle of our vacation and this accomodation gave us what we wanted!

Might be a bit noisy in the mornings, since it's located near the road and you can hear the bikes passing by, but that didn't bother us much.

It was a nice secluded spot in the forest so peaceful & relaxing. The staff were all very kind & accommodating, we arrived very early & they let us relax in their reception/lobby area even bringing us a fresh coconut to drink. The owner even introduced himself to us & sat down to have a chat with us. Would definitely stay here again.

The room didn't have much space to store our luggage as we did book the smallest treehouse.

Beautiful treehouse in the mountain area of Cebu. The room was cozy; we booked the smallest one which has a bathtub. There isn't much space for luggage, but the room is really nice. The toilet area is spacious. And even though you're in the forest, there is AC inside, and the treehouse is well sealed, so no bugs get inside.

It is quite humid as you are in the mountains. There is not much to do besides resting on the room or swim in the river. So it is perfect to disconnect!

Unique buildings and close to nature feel. However, noise from road is distracting. Staff were very helpful. Food was good, but limited options and not always what you expect. (…bam-i did not include meat) Note: Spend $PHP$ and stay in large treehouse. It might not have A/C, but the space with three bedrooms, kitchen, etc…

(1) Traffic noise. (2) Limited amenities. You can walk to creek and enjoy water. (3) Restaurant’s menu is limited.

The nature

We booked and payed for 8 people and we arrived we had only 6 beds for to sleep!!

The treehouse itself is a work of art! The creativity and attention to detail are a joy to experience. Love the fact that the upstairs part is sealed off with aircon working perfectly in case we needed a break from the humidity. Loved the Hot tub. Location was second to none with the soothing sound of waterfalls just beneath the tree house. We went for a good trek along the river /mini waterfalls and found a really nice fresh water pool that we all enjoyed. Perfect blend of tranquility, relaxation, nature and a splash of fun to go with it!

Replace the filter plug in the hot tub. Several times your leg can get trapped in it which is quite painful

i booked the 3 room villa and the dome. the dome had a small pool which was nice but for max capacity of 15, would have been a very tight fit. only 7 stayed in the dome so it was just perfect. since we had access to the river via the 3 room villa tree house, we were able to swim in the river and had bbq. i don't know if there was access to the river via the dome. the dome was really lovely and the kids were hanging out there more than at their own treehouse. we all had meals at the dome, all 14 of us. i did the cooking at the dome, did bbq once using the bbq pit at the 3 room villa. they have the kitchenware and rice cooker available but would have been nicer if they provided dish rack to make the drying of the crockeries easier and had more tea towels available, that is all the little annoying thing for me. the breakfast was really nice and sufficient. we ordered some pizzas and snacks as i did the main dishes myself so i can't comment on that.

we planned our meals and as we have been there before (3 room villa), i know they have an oven. bought mac and cheese stuff for the kids but the oven was not working although a 1 burner electric cooker was given as a replacement to use for other menus to be cooked, kids were disappointed. also, they could have at least let us park quickly inside as we had lots of stuff and groceries to carry, though the staff did the carrying, it could have been avoided. crossing the road from where the 'parking area' is not the safest, but they insisted this is the only way, i really don't understand why as there were lots of space in the main compound, 3 vehicles would fit easily, to quickly move our stuff in, safely.

We stayed in the tent. It's fantastic. My kids absolutely love it. The food served was also great.

The WiFi was off most of the night, but given the relatively isolated location and bad weather, it's understandable.

We stayed in the villa. Perfect tranquil location that creates the idea that you're in the middle of the jungle well away from society (although sometimes you can hear some distant traffic). The only thing you see from the villa is trees, and for audio the insects and creek😃. Very friendly staff. Tasty meals delivered at your doorstep (portions are enough but not for people with a big appetite). The tree house was clean and certainly enough space for four adults (we were just with the two of us). We used the transportation offered. Nice air-conditioned van with a very cautions skillful driver. Must visit if you completely want to wind down!

There isn’t much to do in the area at all. Taxi not available, but the owner provides his car with private driver which is good but I think it would be nice if there were at least bicycles in the area.

Outstanding location right in the heart of the forest, the sounds and sights of nature surround you. Hosts very friendly and accommodating, very clean, stunning facilities. We stayed in both the tent and the superior villa, both absolutely amazing.

The room was amazing. The hammock is great. The food was really good and fairly priced. There were fireflies! Super cool place to stay if you’re looking for a secluded break from the hustle and bustle.

The management was fantastic. They even went above and beyond to get us some power steering fluid for our car, they were incredibly helpful.

It’s our second time here and it’s breathtaking and mesmerizing as always. The nature is at its best! The treehouse built by my friend is amazingly impressive. We will come back again

This was such a magical place. Having your own cabin in such peaceful surroundings is wonderful. The staff were really friendly and everything was perfect. We only stayed for one night and did wonderful before if it was worth travelling from Cebu city for the one night. It completely was, two nights would have also been amazing but one night was great. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very big.

the food is really bad and there are no alternatives around, so you’ve got not choices than to eat at their restaurant. the food was 6/10 the included breakfast was 4/10. also, i dont get this “we dont have any fruits at the moment, or we have just bananas” its simply hilarious. there are fruits at every corner here and they dont have fruits. i really dont get it. lastly, the staff was not very careful. ordered coffee, they brought cappuccino. ordered breakfast at 9:00 they brought it at 8:30, ordered fruit platter, they brought bananas, ordered soup, they didn’t bring soup spoon, they also didnt clean the table afterwards and this attracted flees overnight. and many small things like these
